1Crop 3D a LiDAR based platform for 3D high-throughput crop phenotyping显示文摘With the growing population and the reducing arable land, breeding has been considered as an effective way to solve the food crisis.As an important part in breeding, high-throughput phenotyping can accelerate the breeding process effectively. Light detection and ranging(LiDAR) is an active remote sensing technology that is capable of acquiring three-dimensional(3 D) data accurately,and has a great potential in crop phenotyping. Given that crop phenotyping based on LiDAR technology is not common in China,we developed a high-throughput crop phenotyping platform, named Crop 3 D, which integrated LiDAR sensor, high-resolution camera, thermal camera and hyperspectral imager. Compared with traditional crop phenotyping techniques, Crop 3 D can acquire multi-source phenotypic data in the whole crop growing period and extract plant height, plant width, leaf length, leaf width, leaf area, leaf inclination angle and other parameters for plant biology and genomics analysis. In this paper, we described the designs,functions and testing results of the Crop 3 D platform, and briefly discussed the potential applications and future development of the platform in phenotyping. 3A statistical analysis of spatiotemporal variations and determinant factors of forest carbon storage under China's Natural Forest Protection Program显示文摘The Natural Forest Protection Program(NFPP)is one of the key ecological forestry programs in China.It not only facilitates the improvement of forest ecological quality in NFPP areas,but also plays a significant role in increasing the carbon storage of forest ecosystems.The program covers 17 provinces,autonomous regions,and municipalities with correspondingly diverse forest resources and environments,ecological features,engineering measures and forest management regimes,all of which affect regional carbon storage.In this study,volume of timber harvest,tending area,pest-infested forest,firedamaged forest,reforestation,and average annual precipitation,and temperature were evaluated as factors that influence carbon storage.We developed a vector autoregression model for these seven indicators and we studied the dominant factors of carbon storage in the areas covered by NFPP.Timber harvest was the dominant factorinfluencing carbon storage in the Yellow and Yangtze River basins.Reforestation contributed most to carbon storage in the state-owned forest region in Xinjiang.In state-owned forest regions of Heilongjiang and Jilin Provinces,the dominant factors were forest fires and forest cultivation,respectively.For the enhancement of carbon sequestration capacity,a longer rotation period and a smaller timber harvest are recommended for the Yellow and Yangtze River basins.Trees should be planted in stateowned forests in Xinjiang.Forest fires should be prevented in state-owned forests in Heilongjiang,and greater forest tending efforts should be made in the state-owned forests in Jilin.Shengnan Wu Jiaqi Li Wangming Zhou Bernard Joseph Lewis Dapao Yu Li Zhou Linhai Jiang Limin Dai 2018Journal of Forestry Research2018,29,2:7
4Spectral Characterization of Colored Dissolved Organic Matter for Productive Inland Waters and Its Source Analysis显示文摘This study examined the spatiotemporal dynamics of colored dissolved organic matter(CDOM) and spectral slope(S), and further to analyze its sources in three productive water supplies(Eagle Creek, Geist and Morse reservoirs) from Indiana, USA. The results showed that he absorption coefficient aCDOM(440) ranged from 0.37 m–1 to 3.93 m–1 with an average of 1.89 ± 0.76 m–1(±SD) for the aggregated dataset, and S varied from 0.0048 nm–1 to 0.0239 nm–1 with an average of 0.0108 ± 0.0040 nm–1. A significant relationship between S and aCDOM(440) can be fitted with a power equation(S = 0.013 × aCDOM(440)–0.42, R2 = 0.612), excluding data from Geist Reservoir during high flow(12 April 2010) and the Morse Reservoir on 25 June 2010 due to a T-storm achieves even higher determination coefficient(R2 = 0.842). Correlation analysis indicated that aCDOM(440) has strong association with inorganic suspended matter(ISM) concentration(0.231 < R2 < 0.786) for each of the field surveys, and this trend followed the aggregated datasets(R2 = 0.447, p < 0.001). In contrast, chlorophyll-a was only correlated with aCDOM(440) in summer and autumn(0.081 < R2 < 0.763), indicating that CDOM is mainly from terrigenous sources in early spring and that phytoplankton contributed during the algal blooming season. The S value was used to characterize CDOM origin. 6Fabrication and abrasive wear properties of metal matrix composites reinforced with three-dimensional network structure显示文摘Reticulated polyurethane was chosen as the preceramic material for preparing the porous preform using the rep- lication process. The immersing and sintering processes were each performed twice for fabricating a high-porosity and su- per-strong skeleton. The aluminum magnesium matrix composites reinforced with three-dimensional network structure were prepared using the infiltration technique by pressure assisting and vacuum driving. Light interfacial reactions have played a profitable role in most of the ceramic-metal systems. The metal matrix composites interpenetrated with the ceramic phase have a higher wear resistance than the metal matrix phase. 7Sputtering of W Mo alloy under ion bombardment显示文摘The distribution of plasma density in the vicinity of the W Mo alloy source in the process of double glow discharge plasma surface alloying was diagnosed using the moveable Langmuir probe. The sputtering law, surface composition and morphological variation of the W Mo alloy source was studied. 8Fixing, preventing, and recovering from concurrency bugs显示文摘Concurrency bugs are becoming widespread with the emerging ubiquity of multicore processors and multithreaded software. They manifest during production runs and lead to severe losses. Many effective concurrency-bug detection tools have been built. However, the dependability of multi-threaded software does not improve until these bugs are handled statically or dynamically. 17Biochemical and physio-morphological indices for sesame drought resistance germplasm selection显示文摘In order to efficiently screen drought resistant varieties from a large scale of sesame germplasm, key traits were identified in this study. Six varieties with different drought resistance levels were submitted to a repeated drought stress experiment followed by rehydration phases at seedling stage. Results revealed that ‘ZZM5396', ‘ZZM1446' and‘ZZM0635' showed highest drought resistance features by phenotypic, physiological and biochemical detection. Peroxidase(POD) and catalase(CAT) activities, photosynthetic rate(Photo), root and stem dry matters are indices for drought resistance screening in sesame.Our results from seedling stage were consistent with that from germination stage, despite the fact that ‘ZZM1446' appeared to be superior under drought at seedling stage.
