| 1 | State of Art in Investigations and Development for the Ship on the Artificial Cavities显示文摘This report describes the state of the art in the development of a special kind of air lubricated ships:ships with artificial cavities on the bottom(SAC).Over three decades of research on this concept have enabled KSRI to development both the theory and the software for the design of bottom lines for such vessels.Eventually,they have evolved a dedicated design technology that combines computer design with hullform perfection by model tests. | 2 | Perceptual image quality assessment metric using mutual information of Gabor features显示文摘A good objective metric of image quality assessment(IQA)should be consistent with the subjective judgment of human beings.In this paper,a four-stage perceptual approach for full reference IQA is presented.In the first stage,the visual features are extracted by 2-D Gabor filter that has the excellent performance of modeling the receptive fields of simple cells in the primary visual cortex.Then in the second stage,the extracted features are post-processed by the divisive normalization transform to reflect the nonlinear mechanisms in human visual systems.In the third stage,mutual information between the visual features of the reference and distorted images is employed to measure the visual quality.And in the last pooling stage,the mutual information is converted to the final objective quality score.Experimental results show that the proposed metic has a high correlation with the subjective assessment and outperforms other state-of-the-art metrics. | DING Yong ZHANG Yuan WANG Xiang YAN XiaoLang KRYLOV Andrey S. | 2014 | Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,3: | 4 |
| 3 | Selection of phages and conditions for the safe phage therapy against Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections显示文摘The emergence of multidrug-resistant bacterial pathogens forced us to consider the phage therapy as one of the possible alternative approaches to treatment. The purpose of this paper is to consider the conditions for the safe, long-term use of phage therapy against various infections caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa. We describe the selection of the most suitable phages, their most effective combinations and some approaches for the rapid recognition of phages unsuitable for use in therapy.
