| 1 | TiO_2担载镍催化剂上硝基苯液相加氢(英文)显示文摘The catalytic hydrogenation of nitrobenzene to aniline employing nickel impregnated on rutile,anatase,and high surface area titania supports has been investigated.The nickel is present in elemental state as fcc phase on the catalyst as evidenced by X-ray diffraction results.The Ni crystallite size was found to be greater for Ni/anatase.The temperature-programmed reduction results suggest a greater metal-support interaction for Ni/rutile.The observed order of catalytic activity for the hydrogenation of nitrobenzene is Ni/rutile > Ni/anatase > Ni/TiO2.A conversion of 99% was observed for Ni/rutile at 140 oC and hydrogen pressure of 1.96 MPa.Interestingly,aniline is the only product formed which demonstrates the catalytic hydrogenation of nitrobenzene proceeds with atom economy.Both Ni/rutile and Ni/anatase exhibited a better stability than Ni/TiO2.The hydrogenation proceeds with the preferential adsorption of hydrogen on nickel present in the catalyst surface,possibly assisted by TiOx species. | K.Joseph Antony RAJ M.G.PRAKASH R.MAHALAKSHMY T.ELANGOVAN B.VISWANATHAN | 2012 | 催化学报2012,33,8: | 6 |
| 2 | Comprehensive framework for speed-zone guidelines显示文摘Speeding is often considered as one of the major reasons of traffic crashes.As a result,State Departments of Transportations(DOTs)receive requests from communities to decrease speed limits in towns along rural highways.Such requests,coupled with the lack of proper manuals,have forced state DOTs to reduce the speed limits.A proper speed-zone manual is required to establish consistent speed zones across a state.This paper reviewed the literature on speed,crashes,enforcement techniques,and speed-zone manuals.A nationwide survey was conducted to identify various factors affecting the decisions of speed zones establishing.This paper identified best practices based on the literature review and expert opinions,and proposed a comprehensive framework for a speed-zone manual.The Nevada DOT traffic engineers were also interviewed during this research to incorporate their opinions in the framework.The framework provided in this paper has six phases.They are;1)speed-zone identification;2)speed-limit determination;3)transition-zone detailed design;4)speed-zone approval;5)speed-limit enforcement;and 6)follow-up study.Relevant studies,and manuals corresponding to each phases were presented in this paper.This framework is useful for NDOT,other state DOTs within the U.S.,and transportation agencies worldwide that haven't had speed zone manuals currently to develop a proper speed-zone manual. | K.Joseph Shrestha Pramen P.Shrestha | 2016 | Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2016,3,4: | 1 |

| 5 | Fatal and non-fatal injuries due to suspension trauma syndrome: A systematic review of definition, pathophysiology, and management controversies显示文摘BACKGROUND: Suspension trauma syndrome is a life-threatening event that occurs when a person is 'trapped' in a prolonged passive suspension. It is most commonly seen in people who engage in occupational or sport activities that require harness suspension. The aim of this study is to identify the predisposing factors, pathophysiology, and management of suspension trauma.METHODS: A review and analysis of the literature published in English and Spanish from 1972 to 2020 on suspension trauma were performed. Search sources were Pub Med, Medline, Cochrane Library, MeSH, Up To Date, and Google Scholar. Articles referring to suspension trauma associated with other injury mechanisms(traumatic impact injuries, drowning, asphyxiation, or bleeding), case reports, and pediatric population were excluded.RESULTS: Forty-one articles were identified. Of these, 29 articles related to mechanism, pathophysiology, and management of individuals who suffered prolonged suspension trauma without associated traumatic injuries were included in the study. We encountered several controversies describing the putative pathophysiology, ranging from blood sequestration in the lower extremities versus accumulation of metabolic waste and hyperkalemia to dorsal hook-type harness as a trigger cause of positional asphyxia;to vascular compression of femoral vessels exerted by the harness causing decreased venous return. Pstients suspended in a full-body harness with dorsal hook showed more hemodynamic alterations in response to the compressive effect on the rib cage, causing a reduction in perfusion by presenting a decrease in pulse pressure. Management strategies varied across studies.CONCLUSIONS: Progress has been made in individualizing the population at risk and in the management of suspension trauma. | 6 | Enhanced Attention-Based Encoder-Decoder Framework for Text Recognition显示文摘Recognizing irregular text in natural images is a challenging task in computer vision.The existing approaches still face difficulties in recognizing irre-gular text because of its diverse shapes.In this paper,we propose a simple yet powerful irregular text recognition framework based on an encoder-decoder archi-tecture.The proposed framework is divided into four main modules.Firstly,in the image transformation module,a Thin Plate Spline(TPS)transformation is employed to transform the irregular text image into a readable text image.Sec-ondly,we propose a novel Spatial Attention Module(SAM)to compel the model to concentrate on text regions and obtain enriched feature maps.Thirdly,a deep bi-directional long short-term memory(Bi-LSTM)network is used to make a con-textual feature map out of a visual feature map generated from a Convolutional Neural Network(CNN).Finally,we propose a Dual Step Attention Mechanism(DSAM)integrated with the Connectionist Temporal Classification(CTC)-Attention decoder to re-weights visual features and focus on the intra-sequence relationships to generate a more accurate character sequence.The effectiveness of our proposed framework is verified through extensive experiments on various benchmarks datasets,such as SVT,ICDAR,CUTE80,and IIIT5k.The perfor-mance of the proposed text recognition framework is analyzed with the accuracy metric.Demonstrate that our proposed method outperforms the existing approaches on both regular and irregular text.Additionally,the robustness of our approach is evaluated using the grocery datasets,such as GroZi-120,Web-Market,SKU-110K,and Freiburg Groceries datasets that contain complex text images.Still,our framework produces superior performance on grocery datasets. | S.Prabu K.Joseph Abraham Sundar | 2023 | Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing2023,,2: | 0 |

| 8 | Chloroplast gene matK holds the barcodes for identification of Momordica(Cucurbitaceae) species from Indian subcontinent显示文摘DNA barcoding is a supplementary tool in plant systematics,extensively used to resolve the species level controversies.This paper details the identification of DNA barcodes for seven species of Momordica,using the chloroplast gene mat K.Since the species M.cymbalaria has been confused as a member of the genus Luffa,26 accessions of Momordica belonging to seven Indian species and two accessions of Luffa acutangula were included in this study.Analysis of mat K sequences has yielded distinct barcodes in M.charantia var.charantia,M.subangulata subsp.renigera,M.cochinchinensis,M.balsamina,M.cymbalaria and also in Luffa acutangula.Evolutionary status of each species was reflected as nucleotide polymorphisms in each sequence.The wild species M.dioica and M.sahyadrica have yielded one barcode but failed to get differentiated.Further,this study provides conclusive proof that M.cymbalaria is a member of Momordica genus.The phylogram generated was successful to distinguish the monoecious species of this genus,M.charantia,M.balsamina and M.cymbalaria,from the dioecious species M.dioica,M.sahyadrica,M.subangulata subsp.renigera and M.cochinchinensis.Thus,mat K locus,by accumulating the evolutionary sequence variations,is proven efficient to differentiate the Momordica species and to reveal their relatedness. | Girme Aoudumbar Ramesh Deepu Mathew K.Joseph John V.Ravisankarc | 2022 | Horticultural Plant Journal2022,8,1: | 0 |
| 9 | Factors associated with crash severities in built-up areas along rural highways of Nevada:A case study of 11 towns显示文摘In 2014,32,675 deaths were recorded in vehicle crashes within the United States.Out of these,51%of the fatalities occurred in rural highways compared to 49%in urban highways.No specific crash data are available for the built-up areas along rural highways.Due to high fatalities in rural highways,it is important to identify the factors that cause the vehicle crashes.The main objective of this study is to determine the factors associated with severities of crashes that occurred in built-up areas along the rural highways of Nevada.Those factors could aid in making informed decisions while setting up speed zones in these built-up areas.Using descriptive statistics and binary logistic regression model,337 crashes that occurred in 11 towns along the rural highways from 2002 to 2010 were analyzed.The results showed that more crashes occurred during favorable driving conditions,e.g.,87%crashes on dry roads and 70%crashes in clear weather.The binary logistic regression model showed that crashes occurred from midnight until 4 a.m.were 58.3%likely to be injury crashes rather than property damage only crashes,when other factors were kept at their mean values.Crashes on weekdays were three times more likely to be injury crashes than that occurred on weekends.When other factors were kept at their mean value,crashes involving motorcycles had an 80.2%probability of being injury crashes.Speeding was found to be 17 times more responsible for injury crashes than mechanical defects of the vehicle.As a result of this study,the Nevada Department of Transportation now can take various steps to improve public safety,including steps to reduce speeding and encourage the use of helmets for motorcycle riders. | Pramen P.Shrestha K.Joseph Shrestha | 2017 | Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2017,4,1: | 0 |
