| 1 | Warming moxibustion attenuates inflammation and cartilage degradation in experimental rabbit knee osteoarthritis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To explore the molecular mechanism of warming moxibustion(WM)in knee osteoarthritis(KOA).METHODS:The knee joints of 40 New Zealand rabbits were placed in a plaster cast in an extended position to establish a KOA model.The animals were randomly divided into four groups:the control group,model group,WM group,and diclofenac(DF)group.Hematoxylin-eosin staining and the modified Mankin score were applied to evaluate the histopathological changes.Chondrocyte apoptosis was determined by the terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase dUTP nick end labeling(TUNEL)assay.Western blotting and real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction were performed to measure the expression of interleukin-1β(IL-1β),prostaglandin E receptor 3(PTGER3),a disintegrin-like and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin type-1 motifs-5(ADAMTS-5),matrix metalloproteinase-13(MMP-13),and C-terminal telopeptides of collagen typeⅡ(CTX-Ⅱ)in cartilage tissues of the different groups.The concentrations of IL-1β,PTGER3,and CTX-Ⅱin serum were detected by the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.RESULTS:Rabbits with KOA in the WM and DF groups showed significantly reduced cartilage erosion and Mankin scores,compared with the untreated rabbits.The number of TUNEL-positive cells observed in the WM group was much fewer than that in the model group.The expression of PTGER3,MMP-13,CTX-Ⅱ,IL-1β,and ADAMTS-5 in cartilage tissues was remarkably downregulated following therapy with WM and DF.Moreover,a marked reduction was observed in the serum levels of IL-1β,PTGER3,and CTX-Ⅱin the WM and DF groups.CONCLUSION:WM exerts favorable therapeutic effects on articular injuries of KOA by regulating the expression of inflammatory and cartilage degradation-related cytokines. | LIU Di WU Yongli LI Chun WANG Minglei MA Xiaoxiu LIU Junwei ZHANG Yanling YANG Lei | 2021 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2021,41,6: | 9 |

| 14 | Assembly of flower-like VS_(2)/N-doped porous carbon with expanded(001)plane on rGO for superior Na-ion and K-ion storage显示文摘VS2 with natural layered structure and metallic conductivity is a prospective candidate for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)and potassium-ion batteries(PIBs).However,due to large radius of Na+and K+,the limited interlayer spacing(0.57 nm)of VS2 generally determines high ion diffusion barrier and large volume variation,resulting in unsatisfactory electrochemical performance of SIBs and PIBs.In this work,flower-like VS_(2)/N-doped carbon(VS_(2)/N-C)with expanded(001)plane is grown on reduced graphene oxide(rGO)via a solvothermal and subsequently carbonization strategy.In the VS_(2)/N-C@rGO nanohybrids,the ultrathin VS2'petals'are alternately intercalated by the N-doped porous carbon monolayers to achieve an expanded interlayer spacing(1.02 nm),which can effectively reduce ions diffusion barrier,expose abundant active sites for Na+/K+intercalation,and tolerate large volume variation.The N-C and rGO carbonous materials can significantly promote the electrical conductivity and structural stability.Benefited from the synergistic effect,the VS2/N-C@rGO electrode exhibits large reversible capacity(Na+:407 mAh·g^(-1) at 1 A·g^(-1);K^(+):334 mAh·g^(-1) at 0.2 A·g^(-1)),high rate capacity(Na+:273 mAh·g^(-1) at 8 A·g^(-1);K+:186 mAh·g^(-1) at 5 A·g^(-1)),and remarkable cycling stability(Na+:316 mAh·g^(-1) at 2 A·g^(-1) after 1,400 cycles;K^(+):216 mAh·g^(-1) at 1 A·g^(-1) after 500 cycles). | Junwei Sun Gang Lian Laiying Jing Di Wu Deliang Cui Qilong Wang Haohai Yu Huaijin Zhang Ching-Ping Wong | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,5: | 1 |
