| 1 | Relocation of the 10 March 2011 Yingjiang,China,earthquake sequence and its tectonic implications显示文摘An earthquake with MS5.8 occurred on 10 March 2011 in Yingjiang county,western Yunnan,China.This earthquake caused 25 deaths and over 250 injuries.In order to better understand the seismotectonics in the region,we collected the arrival time data from the Yunnan seismic observational bulletins during 1 January to 25 March 2011,and precisely hand-picked the arrival times from high-quality seismograms that were recorded by the temporary seismic stations deployed by our Institute of Crustal Dynamics,China Earthquake Administration.Using these arrival times,we relocated all the earthquakes including the Yingjiang mainshock and its aftershocks using the double-difference relocation algorithm.Our results show that the relocated earthquakes dominantly occurred along the ENE direction and formed an upside-down bow-shaped structure in depth.It is also observed that after the Yingjiang mainshock,some aftershocks extended toward the SSE over about 10 km.These results may indicate that the Yingjiang mainshock ruptured a conjugate fault system consisting of the ENE trending Da Yingjiang fault and a SSE trending blind fault.Such structural features could contribute to severely seismic hazards during the moderate-size Yingjiang earthquake. | Jianshe Lei Guangwei Zhang Furen Xie Yuan Li Youjin Su Lifang Liu Honghu Ma Junwei Zhang | 2012 | Earthquake Science2012,25,1: | 35 |

| 4 | Expression of Overlapping PreS1 Fragment Recombinant Proteins for the Determination of Immunogenic Domains in HBsAg PreS1 Region显示文摘In this study, eight preS1 fragments overlapped in preS1 (21–119) region of HBV adr subtype, i.e. preS1 (21–47), preS1 (34–59), preS1 (48–70), preS1 (60–85), preS1 (71–94), preS1 (86–109), preS1 (95–119) and preS1 (21–119), were cloned by PCR, and expressed as GST fusion proteins. These GST- preS1 fusion proteins were highly expressed in soluble form in E. coli, and about 50 to 90 mg soluble fusion proteins were purified from 1 L culture. Using these fusion proteins, the immunogenic domains in preS1 (21– 119) region were identified by Western blot analysis and competitive ELISA. The results showed that the immunogenic domains mainly existed in preS1 (21–59) in N-terminus and preS1 (95–109) in C-terminus, and more importantly, a major immunogenic domain preS1 (34–59), which has much stronger immunogenicity, was identified. It was also supported by the predictions of secondary structure and immunological property in the preS1 (21–119) region. | 5 | Interleukin-33 drives hepatic fibrosis through activation of hepatic stellate cells显示文摘Liver fibrosis is a consequence of chronic liver disease,causing morbidity and mortality.Interleukin-33(IL-33)is a critical mediator of inflammation,which may be involved in the development of liver fibrosis.Here,we investigated the role of IL-33 in human patients and experimental bile-duct ligation(BDL)-induced fibrosis in mice.We report increased hepatic IL-33 expression in the murine BDL model of fibrosis and in surgical samples obtained from patients with liver fibrosis.Liver injury,inflammatory cell infiltration and fibrosis were reduced in the absence of the IL-33/ST2 receptor,and the activation of hepatic stellate cells(HSCs)was decreased in ST2-deficient mice.Recombinant IL-33 activated HSCs isolated from C57BL/6 mice,leading to the expression of IL-6,TGF-β,α-SMA and collagen,which was abrogated in the absence of ST2 or by pharmacological inhibition of MAPK signaling.Finally,administration of recombinant IL-33 significantly increased hepatic inflammation in sham-operated BL6 mice but did not enhance BDL-induced hepatic inflammation and fibrosis.In conclusion,BDL-induced liver inflammation and fibrosis are dependent on ST2 signaling in HSCs,and therefore,the IL-33/ST2 pathway may be a potential therapeutic target in human patients with chronic hepatitis and liver fibrosis. | Zhongming Tan Qianghui Liu Runqiu Jiang Long Lv Siamak S Shoto Isabelle Maillet Valerie Quesniaux Junwei Tang Wenjie Zhang Beicheng Sun Bernhard Ryffel | 2018 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2018,15,4: | 24 |

| 7 | Janus(BNNS/ANF)-(AgNWs/ANF)thermal conductivity composite films with superior electromagnetic interference shielding and Joule heating performances显示文摘Highly thermal conductivity materials with excellent electromagnetic interference shielding and Joule heating performances are ideal for thermal management in the next generation of communication industry,artificial intelligence and wearable electronics.In this work,silver nanowires(AgNWs)are prepared using silver nitrate as the silver source and ethylene glycol as the solvent and reducing agent,and boron nitride(BN)is performed to prepare BN nanosheets(BNNS)with the help of isopropyl alcohol and ultrasonication-assisted peeling method,which are compounded with aramid nanofibers(ANF)prepared by chemical dissociation,respectively,and the(BNNS/ANF)-(AgNWs/ANF)thermal conductivity and electromagnetic interference shielding composite films with Janus structures are prepared by the'vacuum-assisted filtration and hot-pressing'method.Janus(BNNS/ANF)-(AgNWs/ANF)composite films exhibit'one side insulating,one side conducting'performance,the surface resistivity of the BNNS/ANF surface is 4.7×10^(13) Ω,while the conductivity of the AgNWs/ANF surface is 5,275 S/cm.And Janus(BNNS/ANF)-(AgNWs/ANF)composite film with thickness of 95 pm has a high in-plane thermal conductivity coefficient of 8.12 W/(m·K)and superior electromagnetic interference shielding effectiveness of 70 dB.The obtained composite film also has excellent tensile strength of 122.9 MPa and tensile modulus and 2.7 GPa.It also has good temperature-voltage response characteristics(high Joule heating temperature at low supply voltage(5 V,215.0℃),fast response time(10 s)),excellent electrical stability and reliability(stable and constant real-time relative resistance under up to 300 cycles and 1,500 s of tensile-bending fatigue work tests). | Yixin Han Kunpeng Ruan Junwei Gu | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,5: | 20 |
| 8 | Lightweight,Flexible Cellulose-Derived Carbon Aerogel@Reduced Graphene Oxide/PDMS Composites with Outstanding EMI Shielding Performances and Excellent Thermal Conductivities显示文摘In order to ensure the operational reliability and infor-mation security of sophisticated electronic components and to protect human health,efficient electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding materials are required to attenuate electromagnetic wave energy.In this work,the cellulose solution is obtained by dissolving cotton through hydrogen bond driving self-assembly using sodium hydroxide(NaOH)/urea solution,and cellulose aerogels(CA)are prepared by gelation and freeze-drying.Then,the cellulose carbon aerogel@reduced graphene oxide aerogels(CCA@rGO)are prepared by vacuum impregnation,freeze-drying followed by thermal annealing,and finally,the CCA@rGO/polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)EMI shielding composites are prepared by backfilling with PDMS.Owing to skin-core structure of CCA@rGO,the complete three-dimensional(3D)double-layer con-ductive network can be successfully constructed.When the loading of CCA@rGO is 3.05 wt%,CCA@rGO/PDMS EMI shielding composites have an excellent EMI shielding effectiveness(EMI SE)of 51 dB,which is 3.9 times higher than that of the co-blended CCA/rGO/PDMS EMI shielding composites(13 dB)with the same loading of fillers.At this time,the CCA@rGO/PDMS EMI shielding composites have excellent thermal stability(T_(HRI) of 178.3℃)and good thermal conductivity coefficient(λ of 0.65 W m^(-1) K^(-1)).Excellent comprehensive performance makes CCA@rGO/PDMS EMI shielding composites great prospect for applications in lightweight,flexible EMI shielding composites. | Ping Song Bei Liu Chaobo Liang Kunpeng Ruan Hua Qiu Zhonglei Ma Yongqiang Guo Junwei Gu | 2021 | Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,6: | 19 |
| 9 | Lightweight and robust rGO/sugarcane derived hybrid carbon foams with outstanding EMI shielding performance显示文摘Increasingly severe electromagnetic pollution is now in urgent need of materials with lightweight,excellent flame retardancy,and outstanding electromagnetic interference shielding effectiveness(EMI SE).Renewable source-derived carbon foams and graphene have attracted extensive attention due to their 3D porous structure and remarkable electrical conductivity().In this work,annealed sugarcane(ASC)was prepared by removal of lignin from sugarcane via hydrothermal reaction,followed by annealing treatment.Then graphene oxide(GO)was filled by vacuum-assisted impregnation process and thermally annealed to obtain the ASC/reduced graphene oxide(rGO)hybrid foams.When the loading of rGO is 17 wt.%,the ASC/rGO hybrid foam(density,of 0.047 g/cm^3)exhibits the optimal of 6.0 S/cm,EMI SE of 53 dB,specific SE(SSE=SE/)/thickness(t)of 3830 dB·cm^2/g,and compressive strength of 1.33 MPa,which is 76%,36%,13%and 6%higher than those of ASC,respectively.Moreover,ASC/rGO presents excellent flame retardancy,thermal stability,and heat insulation,which remains constant under burning on an alcohol lamp and presents low thermal conductivity of 115.19 mW(m·K),close to the requirement for heat insulation.Synergistic effect of ASC and rGO not only significantly increase of ASC/rGO,but fully utilizes the capability of ASC and rGO to attenuate electromagnetic waves by virtue of unique porous structures and abundant interfaces.Such kind of lightweight EMI materials with excellent mechanical property,shielding performance,flame retardancy,and heat insulation is expected to tackle the key scientific and technical bottleneck problems of EMI materials,and will greatly expand the application of carbon nanomaterials in the field of aerospace industry. | Lei Wang Xuetao Shi Junliang Zhang Yali Zhang Junwei Gu | 2020 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,52,17: | 18 |

| 11 | Downstaging and resection of hepatocellular carcinoma in patients with extrahepatic metastases after stereotactic therapy显示文摘Background:A combination of tyrosine kinase inhibitors(TKIs)and anti-PD-1 antibodies with local regional therapy has elicited yield substantial clinical benefits in patients who have hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)with extrahepatic metastases.Using this treatment strategy to convert HCC patients with extrahepatic metastases from unresectable to resectable has not yet been reported.Methods:Consecutive hepatocellular carcinoma patients with extrahepatic metastases who received first-line therapy with a combination of TKIs and anti-PD-1 antibodies and at least one local regional therapy were analysed.Results:Nine patients with localized disease who received first-line systemic therapy were enrolled.At baseline,all of them had oligometastatic disease,namely,Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer stage C(or Chinese Liver Cancer stage IIIB).The most common treatment administered was lenvatinib plus anti-PD-1 antibody and transarterial chemoembolization,and the median time span from systemic therapy to surgery was 3.2(IQR,2.8-6.2)months.Three patients achieved a pathological complete response.Six patients underwent laparoscopic surgery,and the other 3 patients underwent open surgery.After a median follow-up of 10.2(IQR,8.6-20.0)months,7 patients survived without disease recurrence,and 2 experienced tumour recurrence.All patients had any-grade AEs,and 55.6%of the patients experienced grade 3 AEs.Fatigue was the most common AE,followed by elevated aminotransferase levels and hypertension.Conclusions:Stereotactic therapy is a feasible conversion therapy for HCC patients with extrahepatic metastases to become resectable.This is the first study to analyse therapeutic outcomes of patients receiving these therapies for HCC with extrahepatic metastases. | Xiaobo Yang Haifeng Xu Bangyou Zuo Xu Yang Jin Bian Junyu Long Dongxu Wang Junwei Zhang Cong Ning Yanyu Wang Ziyu Xun Yunchao Wang Xin Lu Yilei Mao Xinting Sang Haitao Zhao | 2021 | Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition2021,10,4: | 17 |

Therefore, the requirements of interconnects are the most demanding, i.e., to maintain high electrical conductivity, good stability in both reducing and oxidizing atmospheres, and close coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) match and good compatibility with other SOFC ceramic components. | 14 | Multifunctional Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)-(Fe_(3)O_(4)/polyimide)composite films with Janus structure for outstanding electromagnetic interference shielding and superior visual thermal management显示文摘Flexible multifunctional polymer-based electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding composite films have important application values in the fields of 5G communication technology,wearable electronic devices and artificial intelligence.In this work,Fe_(3)O_(4)/polyamic acid(PAA)nanofiber films are prepared by in-situ polymerization and electrospinning technology,and Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)nanosheets are deposited on the surface of the Fe_(3)O_(4)/PAA nanofiber films via vacuum-assisted filtration.Then,Janus Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)-(Fe_(3)O_(4)/polyimide(PI))composite films are obtained by thermal imidization.The two sides of the Janus films exhibit completely different properties.The Fe_(3)O_(4)/PI side has excellent hydrophobicity and insulation property,and the Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)side has hydrophilicity and terrific conductivity.When the mass fraction of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)is 80 wt.%,the Janus Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)-(Fe_(3)O_(4)/PI)composite film has excellent EMI shielding performances and mechanical properties,with EMI shielding effectiveness,tensile strength and Young’s modulus reaching 66 dB,114.5 MPa and 5.8 GPa,respectively.At the same time,electromagnetic waves show different absorption shielding effectiveness(SEA)when incident from two sides of the Janus films.When the electromagnetic waves are incident from the Fe_(3)O_(4)/PI side,the SEA of the Janus film is 58 dB,much higher than that when the electromagnetic waves are incident from the Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)side(39 dB).In addition,the Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)side of the Janus Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)-(Fe_(3)O_(4)/PI)composite films also has excellent electrothermal and photothermal conversion performances.When the applied voltage is 4 V,the stable surface temperature reaches 108°C;when it is irradiated by simulated sunlight with power density of 200 mW/cm2,the stable surface temperature reaches 95℃. | Yali Zhang Zhonglei Ma Kunpeng Ruan Junwei Gu | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,6: | 16 |
| 15 | Antisense MMP-9 RNA inhibits malignant glioma cell growth in vitro and in vivo显示文摘The matrix-degrading metalloproteinases (MMPs), particularly MMP-9, play important roles in the pathogenesis and development of malignant gliomas. In the present study, the oncogenic role of MMP-9 in malignant glioma cells was investigated via antisense RNA blockade in vitro and in vivo. TJ905 malignant glioma cells were transfected with pcDNA3.0 vector expressing antisense MMP-9 RNA (pcDNA-AS-MMP9), which significantly decreased MMP-9 expression, and cell proliferation was assessed. For in vivo studies, U251 cells, a human malignant glioma cell line, were implanted subcutaneously into 4-to 6-week-old BALB/c nude mice. The mice bearing well-established U251 gliomas were treated with intratumoral pcDNA-AS-MMP9-Lipofectamine complex (AS-MMP-9-treated group), subcutaneous injection of endostatin (endostatin-treated group), or both (combined therapy group). Mice treated with pcDNA (empty vector)-Lipofectamine served as the control group. Four or eight weeks later, the volume and weight of tumor, MMP-9 expression, microvessel density and proliferative activity were assayed. We demonstrate that pcDNA-AS-MMP9 significantly decreased MMP-9 expression and inhibited glioma cell proliferation. Volume and weight of tumor, MMP-9 expression, microvessel density and proliferative activity in the antisense-MMP-9-treated and therapeutic alliance groups were significantly lower than those in the control group. The results suggest that MMP-9 not only promotes malignant glioma cell invasiveness, but also affects tumor cell proliferation. | 17 | Significant Reduction of Interfacial Thermal Resistance and Phonon Scattering in Graphene/Polyimide Thermally Conductive Composite Films for Thermal Management显示文摘The developing flexible electronic equipment are greatly affected by the rapid accumulation of heat,which is urgent to be solved by thermally conductive polymer composite films.However,the interfacial thermal resistance(ITR)and the phonon scattering at the interfaces are the main bottlenecks limiting the rapid and efficient improvement of thermal conductivity coefficients(λ)of the polymer composite films.Moreover,few researches were focused on characterizing ITR and phonon scattering in thermally conductive polymer composite films.In this paper,graphene oxide(GO)was aminated(NH_(2)-GO)and reduced(NH_(2)-rGO),then NH_(2)-rGO/polyimide(NH_(2)-rGO/PI)thermally conductive composite films were fabricated.Raman spectroscopy was utilized to innovatively characterize phonon scattering and ITR at the interfaces in NH_(2)-rGO/PI thermally conductive composite films,revealing the interfacial thermal conduction mechanism,proving that the amination optimized the interfaces between NH_(2)-rGO and PI,reduced phonon scattering and ITR,and ultimately improved the interfacial thermal conduction.The in-planeλ(λ∥)and through-planeλ(λ_(⊥))of 15 wt%NH_(2)-rGO/PI thermally conductive composite films at room temperature were,respectively,7.13 W/mK and 0.74 W/mK,8.2 timesλ∥(0.87 W/mK)and 3.5 timesλ_(⊥)(0.21 W/mK)of pure PI film,also significantly higher thanλ∥(5.50 W/mK)andλ_(⊥)(0.62 W/mK)of 15 wt%rGO/PI thermally conductive composite films.Calculation based on the effective medium theory model proved that ITR was reduced via the amination of rGO.Infrared thermal imaging and finite element simulation showed that NH_(2)-rGO/PI thermally conductive composite films obtained excellent heat dissipation and efficient thermal management capabilities on the light-emitting diodes bulbs,5G high-power chips,and other electronic equipment,which are easy to generate heat severely. | Kunpeng Ruan Yongqiang Guo Chuyao Lu Xuetao Shi Tengbo Ma Yali Zhang Jie Kong Junwei Gu | 2021 | Research2021,,1: | 14 |
| 18 | Rice MtN3/saliva/SWEET gene family: Evolution,expression profiling, and sugar transport显示文摘The rice MtN3/saliva/SWEET gene family consists of21 paralogs. However, their functions in physiological processes are largely unknown, although at least three of the 21 paralogs are used by pathogenic bacteria to infect rice.Here, we report the evolutionary features, transcriptional characteristics, and putative functions in sugar transport of this gene family. The wild rice accessions in this study included those with AA, BB, CC, BBCC, CCDD, EE, and GG genomes,which appeared approximately 0.58–14.6 million years ago.The structures, chromosomal locations, phylogenetic relationships, and homologous distribution among the accessions suggest that the number of rice MtN3/saliva/SWEET paralogs gradually increased as the Oryza genus evolved, and one third of the paralogs may have originated recently. These paralogs are differentially expressed in vegetative and reproductive tissues, in the leaf senescence process, and in signaling dependent on gibberellic acid, cytokinin, or 1-naphthalene acetic acid(an analog of auxin), suggesting that they may be associated with multiple physiological processes. Four paral ogs could transport galactose in yeast, which suggests tha they may have a similar function in rice. This study presents an integrated simulation environment to provide a unified platform for the investigation of smart grid applications involving power grid monitoring,communication,and control. In contrast to the existing approaches,this environment allows the network simulator to operate independently,importing its results to the power system simulation. This resolves conflicts between discrete event simulation and continuous simulation. In addition,several data compensation methods are proposed and investigated under different network delay conditions.
