Architectural proteins for the formation and maintenance of the 3D genome显示文摘Eukaryotic genomes are densely packaged into hierarchical three-dimensional(3D) structures that contain information about gene regulation and many other biological processes. With the development of imaging and sequencing-based technologies, 3D genome studies have revealed that the high-order chromatin structure is composed of hierarchical levels, including chromosome territories, A/B compartments, topologically associated domains, and chromatin loops. However, how this chromatin architecture is formed and maintained is not completely clear. In this review, we introduce experimental methods to investigate the 3D genome, review major architectural proteins that regulate 3D chromatin organization in mammalian cells, such as CTCF(CCCTC-binding factor), cohesin, lamins, and transcription factors, and discuss relevant mechanisms such as phase separation. | Mengfan Li Jingbo Gan Yuao Sun Zihan Xu Junsheng Yang Yujie Sun Cheng Li | 2020 | Science China(Life Sciences)2020,63,6: | 7

Bulk nanocrystalline Al prepared by cryomilling显示文摘Bulk nanocrystalline Al was fabricated by mechanically milling at cryogenic temperature (cryomilling) and then by hot pressing in vacuum. By using X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM), the microstructure evolution of the material during cryomilling and consolidation was investigated. With increasing the mill- ing time, the grain size decreased sharply and reduced to 42 nm when cryomilled for 12 h. The grains had grown up, and the colum- nar grain was formed under the hot pressing and extrusion compared with the cryomilled powders. The grain size of as-extruded specimen was approximately 300-500 nm. The reason of high thermal stability of this bulk was attributed primarily to the Zener pin- ning from the grain boundary of the AlN arising from cryomilling and the solute drag of the impurity. Tensile tests show that the strength of nanocrystalline Al is enhanced with decreasing grain size. The ultimate tensile strength and tensile elongation were 173 MPa and 17.5%, respectively. It appears that the measured high strength in the cryomilled Al is related to a grain-size effect, disper- sion strengthening, and dislocation strengthening. | Junsheng Cheng Hua Cui Hanbin Chen Bin Yang Jianzhong Fan Jishan Zhang | 2007 | Journal of University of Science and Technology Beijing2007,14,6: | 3
Microstructure evolution of Nb_3Sn superconductors during diffusion treatment by bronze route显示文摘The element diffusion process of Nb3Sn superconductors by bronze route was studied using X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectroscopy. The critical current of superconductors was measured by four-point method. The results show that a diffusion layer has formed around the boundaries between the filaments and bronze matrix after 15 h heat treatment. The diffusion layer thickness keeps stable after heat treatment duration of 50~75 h.The stable and solid Nb3Sn layer is obtained in the sample after 100 h heat treatment.Excessive heat treatment would induce superconductivity degeneration because of superconductor grain coarsening. The characteristics of the element diffusion process were discussed. The diffusion of tin atom is the governing factor in diffusion. In this study,Nb3Sn superconductors with good superconducting property were fabricated successfully at 670 ℃ after 100 h heat treatment. | CHENG Junsheng WANG Qiuliang WANG Hui DAI Yinming | 2012 | Rare Metals2012,31,5: | 2

Optimization model of a structural simulation design for a CICC显示文摘The engineering design of a Cable-In-Conduit Conductor (CICC) is complicated. A model for the optimal design of a CICC based on conductor stability, AC loss and strain is proposed. The model considers the critical current density as a function of applied strain. A mathematical programming method that minimizes the AC loss of the CICC is established to yield an optimal design for the CICC structure. The optimized structure and related performance agree well with the engineering design values used for the KSTAR project. | JIANG HuaWei WU SongTao CHENG JunSheng | 2011 | Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,27: | 2
Synthesis and characterization of nanocrystalline Ni produced by cryomilling in liquid nitrogen显示文摘Nanocrystalline Ni powders were successfully fabricated by mechanically milling at cryogenic temperature (cryomilling)with 1 wt.%Y2O3 particles. The experimental results have shown that the Ni grain size is reduced to 25 nm after 2 h of cryomilling in the presence of the Y2O3 particles. The cryomilled Ni/Y2O3 powders can maintain their nanocrystalline structure up to 900°C, or 62% of the melting point of Ni. A bulk nanocrystalline Ni/Y2O3 material with a thermally stable grain size of approximately 100 nm was produced by cryomilling, cold isostatic pressing, followed by hot isostatic pressing. The microhardness of bulk nanocrystalline Ni/1wt.%Y2O3 is 315 DPH, which is two times as high as that of conventional Ni. | YANG Bin FAN Jianzhong HAO Bin TIAN Xiaofeng CHENG Junsheng ZHANG Jishan | 2007 | Rare Metals2007,26,2: | 2
