1The effects of land consolidation on the ecological connectivity based on ecosystem service value: A case study of Da'an land consolidation project in Jilin province显示文摘Land consolidation has a profound impact on landscape patterns and ecological functions at various scales through engineering and biological measures. In recent years, China invests more than 100 billion RMB yuan on land consolidation each year. To understand how land consolidation affects landscape patterns and ecosystems, we investigated the ecosystem service value and the ecological connectivity in a consolidated area of Da'an city from 2008 to 2014 using a revised ecological connectivity index. The results indicated that land consolidation has certain negative influences on the ecosystem services in this area. The total ecosystem service value will decrease by nearly 30% in the late stage of consolidation. This decrease is caused by the loss of ecosystem service of the wetland and grassland, despite a sensible increase of cultivated land. In addition, land consolidation could change the ecological connectivity as well as the land use structure. Up to 85% of the entire area will be in low connectivity in the late stage of consolidation, representing a 6.23% increase in the total coverage compared to pre-consolidation. Finally, the different connectivity landscape and their key areas can be identified by the revised ecological connectivity index effectively. This study is helpful to trace out the relationships between landscape pattern and ecological process, and provides insights for ecological planning and designing of land consolidation in this area. 2Regional homogeneity abnormalities in patients with tensiontype headache:a resting-state fMRI study显示文摘Tension-type headache(TTH) is the most prevalent type of primary headache. Many studies have shown that the pathogenesis of primary headache is associated with fine structural or functional changes. However, these studies were mainly based on migraine. The present study aimed to investigate whether TTH patients show functional disturbances compared with healthy subjects. We used restingstate functional magnetic resonance imaging(f MRI) and regional homogeneity(Re Ho) analysis to identify changes in the local synchronization of spontaneous activity in patients with TTH. Ten patients with TTH and 10 age-, gender-, and education-matched healthy controls participated in the study. After demographic and clinical characteristics were acquired, a 3.0-T MRI system was used to obtain restingstate f MRIs. Compared with healthy controls, the TTH group exhibited significantly lower Re Ho values in the bilateral caudate nucleus, the precuneus, the putamen, the left middle frontal gyrus, and the superior frontal gyrus. There was no correlation between mean Re Ho values in TTH patients and duration of TTH, number of attacks, duration of daily attacks, Visual Analogue Scale score, or Headache Impact Test-6 score. 4Landscape Network Approach to Assess Ecological Impacts of Road Projects on Biological Conservation显示文摘Awareness of the adverse ecological effects of road and other large construction projects has resulted in a rapidly growing demand to quantitatively predict and evaluate the effects on gene flow among plants and animals in natural habitats.In this study,we evaluated the effects of different road construction scenarios on animal species movement by using the methods of ecological landscape connectivity in the typical regions of Yunnan Province,China.The results showed landscape connectivity levels(Probability of Connectivity(PC))decreased after road construction and species with lower dispersal abilities were more affected to the subsequent habitat fragmentation.First level roads affected landscape connectivity most significantly.At a distance of 100 m,the PC index decreased more than 50%.Further analysis suggested that the use of landscape connectivity to assess landscape processes revealed the adverse effects on the species movement more effectively compared with the traditional landscape pattern analysis.In addition,we conducted a graph theory and a least-cost modeling discussion,it is obvious that they are powerful tools to represent and analyze landscape networks with respect to related species movement.Network analysis offers a quantitative and simple but effective tool for ecological process assessment and biological conservation on large scales.LIU Shiliang DENG Li CHEN Liding LI Junran DONG Shikui ZHAO Haidi 2014Chinese Geographical Science2014,24,1:3

11METTL3-mediated m^(6)A modification of HMGA2 mRNA promotes subretinal fibrosis and epithelial-mesenchymal transition显示文摘Subretinal fibrosis is a major cause of the poor visual prognosis for patients with neovascular age-related macular degeneration(nAMD).Myofibroblasts originated from retinal pigment epithelial(RPE)cells through epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)contribute to the fibrosis formation.N^(6)-Methyladenosine(m^(6)A)modification has been implicated in the EMT process and multiple fibrotic diseases.The role of m^(6)A modification in EMT-related subretinal fibrosis has not yet been elucidated.In this study,we found that during subretinal fibrosis in the mouse model of laser-induced choroidal neovascularization,METTL3 was upregulated in RPE cells.Through m^(6)A epitranscriptomic microarray and further verification,high-mobility group AT-hook 2(HMGA2)was identified as thekey downstream target of METTL3,subsequently activating potent EMT-inducing transcription factor SNAIL.Finally,by subretinal injections of adeno-associated virus vectors,we confirmed that METTL3 deficiency in RPE cells could efficiently attenuate subretinal fibrosis in vivo.In conclusion,our present research identified an epigenetic mechanism of METTL3-m^(6)A-HMGA2 in subretinal fibrosis and EMT of RPE cells,providing a novel therapeutic target for subretinal fibrosis secondary to nAMD.Yuwei Wang Yuhong Chen Jian Liang Mei Jiang Ting Zhang Xiaoling Wan Jiahui Wu Xiaomeng Li Jieqiong Chen Junran Sun Yifan Hu Peirong Huang Jingyang Feng Te Liu Xiaodong Sun 2023Journal of Molecular Cell Biology2023,15,3:1
12Enhanced photodetector performance of black phosphorus by interfacing with chiral perovskite显示文摘Heterogeneous stackings of two-dimensional(2D)semiconductors and halide perovskites have attracted much attention owing to their respective superior optoelectronic properties.Black phosphorus(BP),as a unique 2D member with narrow bandgap,high mobility,and strong anisotropy,has never been combined with 2D layered perovskites.Herein,we construct a new BP-based van der Waals heterostructure combing with 2D chiral hybrid perovskite(i.e.,(MBA)_(2)PbI_(4))for promoting the performance and enriching the functionalities of BP.A series of BP characteristics,including carrier mobility,photoresponsivity,and polarization sensitivity,are synergistically enhanced when interfacing with(MBA)_(2)PbI_(4).For instance,the photodetector responsivity and photogain of BP in heterostructures are boosted by almost one order of magnitude with respect to BP alone,which is more obvious under excitation above the bandgap of perovskite.This is because the interfacing perovskite provides an inflow of numerous photogenerated carriers to BP,to reinforce the charge carrier transfer,separation,and transport processes.Additionally,the ability of both linearly and circularly polarized photodetection can be integrated into the BP/(MBA)_(2)PbI_(4)heterostructure.Our work sheds new insight on the heterostructure assembly for promising optoelectronic applications within 2D materials and perovskite families.Yang Cao Congzhou Li Jie Deng Tong Tong Yuchi Qian Guixiang Zhan Xu Zhang Kaiyue HeHuifang Ma Junran Zhang Jing Zhou Lin Wang 2022Nano Research2022,15,8:0
13A Novel Worm-like In-Pipe Robot with the Rigid and Soft Structure显示文摘Soft in-pipe robot has good adaptability in tubular circumstances,while its rigidity is insufficient,which affects the traction performance.This paper proposes a novel worm-like in-pipe robot with a rigid and soft structure,which not only has strong traction ability but also flexible mobility in the shaped pipes.Imitating the structure features of the earthworm,the bionic in-pipe robot structure is designed including two soft anchor parts and one rigid telescopic part.The soft-supporting mechanism is the key factor for the in-pipe robot excellent performance,whose mathematical model is established and the mechanical characteristics are analyzed,which is used to optimize the structural parameters.The prototype is developed and the motion control strategy is planned.Various performances of the in-pipe robot are tested,such as the traction ability,moving velocity and adaptability.For comparative analysis,different operating scenarios are built including the horizontal pipe,the inclined pipe,the vertical pipe and other unstructured pipes.The experiment results show that the in-pipe robot is suitable for many kinds of pipe applications,the average traction is about 6.8N,the moving velocity is in the range of 9.5 to 12.7 mm/s.Delei Fang Guofeng Jia Junran Wu Xiaoru Niu Pan Li Rong Wang Yan Zhang Junxia Zhang 2023Journal of Bionic Engineering2023,20,6:0

15Synthesis and Structure of a Novel Tetranuclear Erbium(Ⅲ) Complex with L-Proline(HPro)[Er_4(HPro)_4(Pro)_2·(μ_3-OH)_4(H_2O)_7](ClO_4)_6·6H_2O显示文摘The title complex was synthesized in an aqueous solution and its crystal structure was determined by Xray diffraction. The crystal is rhombohedral, space group R3 with a=1.947 0(3) nm, b=1.947 0(3) nm, c=1.768 3(3) nm, α=90°, β=90°, γ=120°, V=5.805(2) nm3, Z=3 , the final R value is 0.051 2. The complex contains a novel tetranuclear cation with four Er 3+ ions connected by four μ 3OH ions and six bridging carboxyl groups. The crystal crystallizes in a triclinic system, space group P1 with a= 1.306 3(2) nm , b=1.319 4(4) nm, c=1.950 2(4) nm, α=90.597(14)°, β= 93.998(11)° , γ=94.093(13)°, V=3.344 1(12) nm3, Z=2, the final R indices are R 1= 0.065 4 , wR 2=0.126 2 respectively. The complex contains a novel tetranuclear cluster cation with four Er 3+ ions connected by four μ 3OH ions and six bridging carboxyl groups.
