| 1 | NiCoP 1D nanothorns grown on 3D hierarchically porous Ni films for high performance hydrogen evolution reaction显示文摘Highly efficient,cost-effective,and durable electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)in water splitting is crucial for ene rgy conversion and sto rage.Herein,we report NiCoP 1D nanothorn arrays grown on 3D porous Ni film current collectors(Ni/NiCoP)as the novel electrocatalytic electrodes.The 3D hierarchically porous nickel films containing large 7±2μm pores and small pores less than 1μm are obtained through using hydrogen bubbles dynamic template method.The NiCoP 1D nanothorns are about 70 nm in diameter and 4-8μm in length.The porous Ni/NiCoP electrocatalytic electrodes demonstrate much higher catalytic activity and remarkable stability for long-term HER.The excellent electrocatalytic performance might be attributed to the inherent nature of highly catalytic active NiCo bimetal phosphides and the unique architecture of 1D nanothorn active materials directly integrated on the 3D hierarchically porous metallic nickel conductive skeletons.The developed electrode has been fabricated to the integrated solar-driven seawater-splitting system. | Yaqiang Ji Jinqi Xie Ying Yang Xianzhu Fu Rong Sun Chingping Wong | 2020 | Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,3: | 2 |
| 2 | Evaluation of menopausal status among breast cancer patients with chemotherapy-induced amenorrhea显示文摘Objective: In patients with chemotherapy-induced amenorrhea(CIA), the menopausal status is ambiguous and difficult to evaluate. This study aimed to establish a discriminative model to predict and classify the menopausal status of breast cancer patients with CIA.Methods: This is a single center hospital-based study from 2013 to 2016. The menopausal age distribution and accumulated incidence rate of CIA are described. Multivariate models were adjusted for established and potential confounding factors including age, serum concentration of estradiol(E2) and follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),feeding, pregnancy, parity, abortions, and body mass index(BMI). The odds ratio(OR) and 95% confidence interval(95% CI) of different risk factors were estimated.Results: A total of 1,796 breast cancer patients were included in this study, among whom, 1,175(65.42%) were premenopausal patients and 621(34.58%) were post-menopause patients. Five hundred and fifty patients were included in CIA analysis, and a cumulative CIA rate of 81.64% was found in them. Age(OR: 1.856, 95% CI:1.732-1.990), serum concentration of E2(OR: 0.976, 95% CI: 0.972-0.980) and FSH(OR: 1.060, 95% CI:1.053-1.066), and menarche age(OR: 1.074, 95% CI: 1.009-1.144) were found to be associated with the patients' menopausal status. According to multivariate analysis, the discriminative model to predict the menopausal status is Logit(P)=-28.396+0.536 Age-0.014 E2+0.031 FSH. The sensitivities for this model were higher than 85%, and its specificities were higher than 89%.Conclusions: The discriminative model obtained from this study for predicting menstrual state is important for premenopausal patients with CIA. | 4 | Nucleic acids analysis显示文摘Nucleic acids are natural biopolymers of nucleotides that store, encode, transmit and express genetic information, which play central roles in diverse cellular events and diseases in living things. The analysis of nucleic acids and nucleic acids-based analysis have been widely applied in biological studies, clinical diagnosis, environmental analysis, food safety and forensic analysis.During the past decades, the field of nucleic acids analysis has been rapidly advancing with many technological breakthroughs.In this review, we focus on the methods developed for analyzing nucleic acids, nucleic acids-based analysis, device for nucleic acids analysis, and applications of nucleic acids analysis. The representative strategies for the development of new nucleic acids analysis in this field are summarized, and key advantages and possible limitations are discussed. | 5 | An intravascular needle coated by ZnO nanoflowers for in vivo elimination of circulating tumor cells显示文摘Circulating tumor cells(CTCs)are recognized as the main source of tumor recurrence and metastasis.Eliminating the CTCs in peripheral blood provides a new strategy to reduce the probability of recurrence or metastasis.Here,we proposed a concept to eliminate CTCs by inserting a needle in the superficial blood vessel.Using the property of ZnO and the structure of nanoflowers,we designed a medical needle coated with ZnO nanoflowers(ZNFs),which killed about 90%of captured CTCs in vitro and prevented the injecting CTCs from spreading to lung tissue in BABL/c mouse model.Results in vitro and in vivo demonstrated that the CTCs not only were captured and killed,but also detached from the needle surface after dead,enabling the ZNFs needle continually eliminate CTCs.Furthermore,a theoretical model was presented to explain the penetration mechanism of cells by nanostructures,which indicated that nanoflowers structure can puncture CTCs more easily than vertical nanowire structure.The concept of inserting an intravascular needle provides a potential strategy to lower the concentration of CTCs in blood and reduce the probability of tumor recurrence or metastasis. | Jinqi Li Xinlei Li Yangfeng Zhang Kun Jin Ye Yuan Ruiqi Ming Yuhua Yang Tongsheng Chen | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,1: | 0 |

| 11 | Geological characteristics and shale gas distribution of carboniferous mudstones in the Tarim Basin,China显示文摘Extant research on Paleozoic mudstone is well developed in the Tarim Basin, while the research on Carboniferous mudstone is relatively weak. Through systematic study of lithology, geochemical characteristics,reservoir characteristics and gas–bearing properties of Carboniferous mudstone in the Tarim Basin, this study aims to provide a geological basis for the Paleozoic shale gas exploration and development, favorable zone optimization, and resource potential evaluation in the Tarim Basin. The results show that the sedimentary environments of organic-rich mudstone in the study area were mainly basin facies and slope facies. Lithology is dominated by black carbonaceous mudstone, followed by calcareous mudstone, siliceous mudstone, and siliceous rocks. Mudstone is mainly developed in the Kalashayi Formation,which is located in the Bachu and Markit slope belt, with the cumulative thickness of 30–200 m. The organic carbon content is commonly more than 0.4%, and the organic matter types are type II and type III. Thermal evolution degree is widely distributed from a low mature to over mature stage, and different tectonic units have a greater difference. The contents of quartz plus feldspar are between 12% and 82.5%, with an average of 45.8%. Thecontent distribution of clay mineral is from 12% to 57%,with an average of 38.2%. Carbonate minerals(mainly siderite) content is below 50%. The brittle mineral content of the mudstone is approximately 65%, with a strong compressibility, and the mudstone has the material basis of forming crack and natural fracture. | 14 | Genome-Wide Identification and Expression Profiling Suggest that Invertase Genes Function in Silique Development and the Response to Sclerotinia sclerotiorum in Brassica napus显示文摘Invertase(INV),a key enzyme in sucrose metabolism,irreversibly catalyzes the hydrolysis of sucrose to glucose and fructose,thus playing important roles in plant growth,development,and biotic and abiotic stress responses.In this study,we identified 27 members of the BnaINV family in Brassica napus.We constructed a phylogenetic tree of the family and predicted the gene structures,conserved motifs,cis-acting elements in promoters,physicochemical properties of encoded proteins,and chromosomal distribution of the BnaINVs.We also analyzed the expression of the BnaINVs in different tissues and developmental stages in the B.napus cultivar Zhongshuang 11 using qRT-PCR.In addition,we analyzed RNA-sequencing data to explore the expression patterns of the BnaINVs in four cultivars with different harvest indices and in plants inoculated with the pathogenic fungus Sclerotinia sclerotiorum.We used WGCNA(weighted coexpression network analysis)to uncover BnaINV regulatory networks.Finally,we explored the expression patterns of several BnaINV genes in cultivars with long(Zhongshuang 4)and short(Ningyou 12)siliques.Our results suggest that BnaINVs play important roles in the growth and development of rapeseed siliques and the defense response against pathogens.Our findings could facilitate the breeding of high-yielding B.napus cultivars with strong disease resistance. | Jingsen Liu Jinqi Ma Ai Lin Chao Zhang Bo Yang Liyuan Zhang Lin Huang Jiana Li | 2020 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2020,89,2: | 0 |
| 15 | Numerical and Experimental Study on Heat Transfer Characteristics of Single Vibrating Blade in a Channel Flow显示文摘The heat transfer characteristics of the vibrating blades of different shapes were numerically modeled in the present work.A single blade was arranged in a channel with vertical or horizontal alignment.Both the static environment and the channel flow were considered.Four types of blades,rectangular,trapezoidal,serrated,and folding,were comparably modeled.The results showed that the vibrating blade could effectively enhance the convection heat transfer of the heated surface with a smaller increase of pressure drop.For the static environment,the heat transfer performance of the vertical alignment of the blade is better than the horizontal alignment.For channel flow,the opposite conclusion is obtained.For the inlet velocity of channel flow v_(inlet)=2 m/s and v_(inlet)=6m/s,the maximum improvement of the local convection heat transfer coefficient is about 98%and 12%,respectively.The corresponding pressure drops were reduced and increased by 9.5%and 8.8%,respectively.The vibrating blade can effectively improve the convection heat transfer at lower inlet velocity.Under the same working conditions,the pressure drop difference between the four shapes of fan blades is less than 1%,and the folding blade has the best local heat dissipation performance. | HU Jinqi MIN Chunhua YANG Xuguang WANG Kun XIE Liyao | 2023 | Journal of Thermal Science2023,32,3: | 0 |
