2Effect of inlet area on the performance of a two-stage cyclone separator显示文摘The cyclone separator is an important separation device.This paper presents a new type of embedded two-stage cyclone,which includes a 2 nd-stage cyclone(internal traditional cyclone)with multiple inlets and a 1 st-stage cyclone(outer cylinder)that unifies the 2 nd-stage cyclone inlets into one inlet.The Taguchi experimental method was used to study the two-stage cyclone separator’s inlet area on its performance.Studies have shown that the increase of the 1 st-stage cyclone inlet area and the increase in the number of 2 nd-stage cyclone inlets(N)positively affect reducing the pressure drop and a negative effect on efficiency.It is recommended to use 2 S(the original 1 st-stage cyclone inlet area)of the 1 st-stage cyclone inlet area and 2 N of the 2 nd-stage cyclone inlets when separating fine particles.Compared with a traditional cyclone,the pressure drop is reduced by 1303 Pa,the mass separation efficiency(Eq)is increased by 0.56%,and the number separation efficiency(En)is increased by 2.05%.When separating larger particles,it is recommended to use 2 S of the 1 st-stage cyclone inlet area and 4 N of the 2 nd-stage cyclone inlets.Compared with a traditional cyclone,although Endecreases slightly,the pressure drop is reduced by 3055 Pa,and the Eqis increased by 0.56%.The research results provide new insight into the design of the cyclone.Jihe Chen Zhongan Jiang Bin Yang Yapeng Wang Fabin Zeng 2022Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,4:1
3Compressive Behavior of Wood-based 2-D Lattice Structure under Multivariable Analysis显示文摘In order to optimize the out-of-plane compression performance of the wood structure,wood-based 2-D lattice structures were designed and manufactured with oriented strand board as the panel and birch round stick as the core by using a simple insert-glue method.In this experiment,the different thicknesses of the upper and lower panels,the different shavings arrangement directions of the upper and lower panels and the different configurations of the specimens were used to analyze the compression performance of the specimens under multivariable conditions.Through the combination of experimental test and theoretical analysis,we analyzed and compared different failure types of the structure and multiple compression parameters.The results showed that the shavings arrangement direction of the panel has a more important influence on the whole specimen than the thickness of the panel,especially the transverse shavings of the panel can withstand greater shear stress than the longitudinal shavings for a specimen.Yanxia FENG Mengyuan WANG Shaochen HU Lili JIA Jihe CHEN Tianshi FENG Yingcheng HU 2019Journal of Bioresources and Bioproducts2019,4,2:0
4Kinetics of Selective Hydrogenation of PAHs from FCC Slurry Extract over Ni-W/γ-Al_(2)O_(3) Catalyst显示文摘The selective hydrogenation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)from fluid catalytic cracking(FCC)slurry extract was conducted in a batch reactor over aγ-Al_(2)O_(3)-supported bimetallic Ni-W catalyst.For the Ni-W/γ-Al_(2)O_(3) catalyst,the experiment run was divided into three processes according to the reaction conditions used:(1)the absence of hydrogenation as both temperature and pressure increased;(2)the desulfurization of FCC slurry extract under a fixed pressure as the temperature increased;and(3)the selective hydrogenation of PAHs when both pressure and temperature remained constant.The hydrogen consumption could be accurately calculated from the Redlich–Kwong equation of state.The results for the removal of PAHs with hydrogenation displayed an excellent fit to the first-order kinetics.The apparent activation energy was determined to be 20.80 kJ/mol.Cui Wenlong Wu Fubu Chen Yulong Qian Junfeng Luo Hui Liu Yingjie Yang Jihe 2023China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2023,25,4:0
