4Incorporating Equity Concerns into Transportation Planning and Policies in Urban China: The Status Quo of Practice and Implications显示文摘Transportation equity is one of the most recent concerns toward sustainable urban development, which aims to help municipalities or local planning authorities incorporate equity issues into transportation planning and policies, avoiding multifaceted potential inequity outcomes. As for the urbanizing China, do the mainstream planning approaches fail to take equity issues into account? What are outcomes and the potential countermeasures based on Chinese cities' spatial and policy contexts? From the perspective of transportation equity, this article aims to examine the multidimensional effects related to equity concerns of urban transportation planning and policies in China. It suggests that the municipal government should enhance the service level of public transit and efficiently address the inequity issues of transportation systems. 5Combining mannose receptor mediated nanovaccines and gene regulated PD-L1 blockade for boosting cancer immunotherapy显示文摘Tumor nanovaccines have potential applications in the prevention and treatment of malignant tumors.However,it remains a longstanding challenge in exploiting efficient nanocarriers for inducing potent specifically cellular immune responses.Toward this objective,we herein explore an intensive tumor immunotherapeutic strategy by combining mannosylated nanovaccines and gene regulated PD-L1 blockade for immune stimulation and killing activity.Here,we fabricate a mannose modified PLL-RT(Man-PLL-RT)mediated nanovaccines with dendritic cells(DCs)targeting capacity.Man-PLL-RT is capable of co-encapsulating with antigen(ovalbumin,OVA)and adjuvant(unmethylated cytosine-phosphate-guanine,CpG)by electrostatic interaction.This positively charged Man-PLL-RT/OVA/CpG nanovaccines can facilitate the endocytosis,maturation and cross presentation in DCs.However,the nanovaccines arouse limited inhibition of tumor growth,which is mainly due to the immunosuppressed microenvironment of tumors.Combining tumor nanovaccines with gene regulated PD-L1 blockade leads to an obvious tumor remission in B16F10 melanoma bearing mice.The collaborative strategy provides essential insights to boost the benefits of tumor vaccines by regulating the checkpoint blockade with gene therapy.Jie Chen Huapan Fang Yingying Hu Jiayan Wu Sijia Zhang Yuanji Feng Lin Lin Huayu Tian Xuesi Chen 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,1:2
6Evaluating the bioavailability of heavy metals in natural-zeoliteamended aquatic sediments using thin-film diffusive gradients显示文摘The effectiveness of natural zeolite amendment of sediments as a restorative material was studied,as was the feasibility of utilizing thin-film gradient diffusion(DGT)as a proxy for the accumulation of heavy metals in Venerupis philippinaram.The results showed that addition of natural zeolite to sediment,significantly decreased the equilibrium partitioning of Cu,Pb,Cd,Cr and As between the sediment pore water and natural zeolite over 24 h by 67%,81%,72%,62%and 71%,respectively.Furthermore,the accumulation of Cu,Pb,Cd,Cr and As in V.philippinaram in the zeolite-amended sediments decreased by 44%,37%,54%,30%and 59%,respectively after 28 days and the absorption rates also declined.The amount of heavy metals enriched into the DGT film and V.philippinaram over 28 days showed a significant correlation(P<0.001)and indicated that DGT has the potential as a proxy to predict the bioaccumulation of heavy metals in benthic organisms in sediments amended by natural zeolite.Further studies focused on the modification of natural zeolite and the predictive ability of DGT in different sediments/organism scenarios are warranted.Juanying Li Chen Zhang Jianwei Lin Jie Yin Jiayan Xu Yiqin Chen 2018Aquaculture and Fisheries2018,3,3:2

8TwoMADS-boxgenes regulate vascularcambium activity and secondary growth by modulating auxin homeostasis in Populus显示文摘In trees,stem secondary growth depends on vascular cambium proliferation activity and subsequent cell differentiation,in which an auxin concentration gradient across the cambium area plays a crucial role in regulating the process.However,the underlying molecular mechanismfor the establishment of auxin concentration is not fully understood.In this study,we identified two function-unknown MADS-box genes,VCM1 and VCM2,which are expressed specifically in the vascular cambium and modulate the subcellular homeostasis of auxin.Simultaneous knockdown of both VCM1 and VCM2 enhanced vascular cambium proliferation activity and subsequent xylem differentiation.Overexpression of VCM1 suppressed vascular cambium activity and wood formation by regulating PIN5 expression,which tuned the soluble auxin concentration in the vascular cambium area.This study reveals the role of VCM1 and VCM2 in regulating the proliferation activity of the vascular cambium and secondary growth by modulating the subcellular auxin homeostasis in Populus.Shuai Zheng Jiajia He Zengshun Lin Yingying Zhu Jiayan Sun Laigeng Li 2021Plant Communications2021,2,5:1
9Faster RCNN Target Detection Algorithm Integrating CBAM and FPN显示文摘Small targets and occluded targets will inevitably appear in the image during the shooting process due to the influence of angle,distance,complex scene,illumination intensity,and other factors.These targets have few effective pixels,few features,and no apparent features,which makes extracting their efficient features difficult and easily leads to false detection,missed detection,and repeated detection,affecting the performance of target detection models.An improved faster region convolutional neural network(RCNN)algorithm(CF-RCNN)integrating convolutional block attention module(CBAM)and feature pyramid networks(FPN)is proposed to improve the detection and recognition accuracy of small-size objects,occluded or truncated objects in complex scenes.Firstly,the CBAM mechanism is integrated into the feature extraction network to improve the detection ability of occluded or truncated objects.Secondly,the FPN-featured pyramid structure is introduced to obtain high-resolution and vital semantic data to enhance the detection effect of small-size objects.The experimental results show that the mean average precision of target detection of the improved algorithm on PASCAL VOC2012 is improved to 76.1%,which is 13.8 percentage points higher than that of the commonly used Faster RCNN and other algorithms.Furthermore,it is better than the commonly used small sample target detection algorithm.Wenshun Sheng Xiongfeng Yu Jiayan Lin Xin Chen 2023Computer Systems Science & Engineering2023,47,11:1

11Comparative Analysis on the Stability Mechanism of Droop Control and VID Control in DC Microgrid显示文摘Voltage resonance and fluctuation deteriorate the stability of DC microgrids(DC-MGs)and restrict their popularization.Conventional droop control cannot suppress voltage fluctuation and damp oscillations.Therefore,new control methods,namely,droop+filter control and virtual inertia and damping control,are proposed.These methods differ owing to the addition of low pass filter(LPF)and virtual inertia loop.In this study,the stability of these control methods is investigated comprehensively to understand their differences arising from the use of LPF and inertia loop as well as the underlying dynamic stability mechanism.The leading causes of voltage instability in DC-MGs regulated by droop control are first presented.Subsequently,control methods for solving this issue are compared and their simplified small-signal models are constructed.Based on eigenvalue analysis,the DC-MG is equivalent to a third-order system.Different control effects can be acquired by changing the control parameters and the location of the eigenvalues;furthermore,they can be used to understand the dynamic stability.Eigenvalue analysis can provide parameter design guidelines.Finally,the simulation results verify the validity of the theoretical analysis.Gang Lin Wei Zuo Yong Li Jiayan Liu Shaoyang Wang Pengcheng Wang 2021Chinese Journal of Electrical Engineering2021,7,1:0
