| 2 | Wind power prediction based on variational mode decomposition multi-frequency combinations显示文摘Because of the uncertainty and randomness of wind speed, wind power has characteristics such as nonlinearity and multiple frequencies. Accurate prediction of wind power is one effective means of improving wind power integration. Because the traditional single model cannot fully characterize the fluctuating characteristics of wind power, scholars have attempted to build other prediction models based on empirical mode decomposition(EMD) or ensemble empirical mode decomposition(EEMD) to tackle this problem. However, the prediction accuracy of these models is affected by modal aliasing and illusive components. Aimed at these defects, this paper proposes a multi-frequency combination prediction model based on variational mode decomposition(VMD). We use a back propagation neural network(BPNN),autoregressive moving average(ARMA)model, and least square support vector machine(LS-SVM) to predict high, intermediate,and low frequency components,respectively. Based on the predicted values of each component, the BPNN is applied to combine them into a final wind power prediction value.Finally,the prediction performance of the single prediction models(ARMA,BPNN and LS-SVM)and the decomposition prediction models(EMD and EEMD) are used to compare with the proposed VMD model according to the evaluation indices such as average absolute error, mean square error,and root mean square error to validate its feasibility and accuracy. | 3 | Recent advances in system reliability optimization driven by importance measures显示文摘System reliability optimization problems have been widely discussed to maximize system reliability with resource constraints.Bimbaum importance is a wellknown method for evaluating the effect of component reliability on system reliability.Many importance measures(IMs)are extended for binary,multistate,and continuous systems from different aspects based on the Bimbaum importance.Recently,these IMs have been applied in allocating limited resources to the component to maximize system performance.Therefore,the significance of Bimbaum importance is illustrated from the perspective of probability principle and gradient geometrical sense.Furthermore,the equations of various extended IMs are provided subsequently.The rules for simple optimization problems are summarized to enhance system reliability by using ranking or heuristic methods based on IMs.The importance-based optimization algorithms for complex or large-scale systems are generalized to obtain remarkable solutions by using IM-based local search or simplification methods.Furthermore,a general framework driven by IM is developed to solve optimization problems.Finally,some challenges in system reliability optimization that need to be solved in the future are presented. | Shubin SI Jiangbin ZHAO Zhiqiang CAI Hongyan DUI | 2020 | Frontiers of Engineering Management2020,7,3: | 5 |

| 5 | A botanical medicine dragon’s blood exhibited clinical antithrombosis efficacy similar to low molecular weight heparin显示文摘Deep vein thrombosis(DVT)is a common complication following traumatic fracture with a 0.5%–1%annual incidence.Low molecular weight heparin(LMWH)is the most commonly used anticoagulation drug for DVT prevention,but treatment with LMWH is invasive.Our aim is to compare the antithrombotic effect of dragon’s blood,an oral botanical anticoagulant medicine approved by the Chinese FDA,with LMWH in patients undergoing hip fracture surgery and to explore the molecular mechanisms of anticoagulation treatment.Our study recruited patients and divided them into LMWH and dragon’s blood treatment group.Coagulation index tests,Doppler ultrasound and mRNA sequencing were performed before and after anticoagulation therapy.There was no significant difference in postoperative DVT incidence between the two groups(23.1%versus 15.4%,P=0.694).D-dimer(D-D)and fibrinogen degradation product(FDP)showed significant reductions in both groups after anticoagulation treatments.We identified SLC4A1,PROS1,PRKAR2B and seven other genes as being differentially expressed during anticoagulation therapy in both groups.Genes correlated with coagulation indexes were also identified.Dragon’s blood and LMWH showed similar effects on DVT and produced similar gene expression changes in patients undergoing hip fracture surgery,indicating that dragon’s blood is a more convenient antithrombosis medicine(oral)than LMWH(hypodermic injection). | Jiangbin Liang Song Mei Xiangyu Qiao Wei Pan Yan Zhao Shaohui Shi Yaling Zhai Haizhao Wen Guoping Wu Chengyu Jiang | 2021 | Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,10: | 4 |
| 6 | Impacts of Social and Demographic Factors on Residents' Subjective Well-being in Rural China显示文摘The objective of social development is to construct a harmonious society.In China,the key to a harmonious society is the happiness of more than 900 million farmers living in the rural areas.This study aimed to measure rural residents' subjective well-being(SWB) through the day reconstruction method,as well as to analyze SWB's influencing factors through a variety of statistical methods.The results showed that the average U index was 12.79%,indicating that respondents were unhappy 12.79% of the time.Twenty-seven percent of the population had a U index greater than 0,with the average value being 47%,indicating that these people were unhappy 47% of the time.The study also found that SWB varied according to the characteristics of the respondents.Logistic regression analysis showed that social and demographic factors,including age,education,county,household size,generation number,per capita income,migration status and social networking,which significantly affected rural residents' SWB.The size of the impact varied with the different factors. | Wang Jian Meng Qingyue Winnie Yip Sun Qiang Qu Jiangbin Jia Liying | 2010 | Chinese Journal of Population,Resources and Environment2010,8,1: | 3 |
