1Design and performance simulation of a molecular Doppler wind lidar显示文摘A mobile molecular Doppler wind lidar at an eye-safe wavelength of 355 nm based on double-edge technique is being built in Hefei (China) for wind measurement from 10-to 40-km altitude. The structure of this lidar system is described. A triple Fabry-Perot etalon is employed as a frequency discriminator whose parameters are optimized. The receiver system is designed to achieve compactness and stability by putting in a standard 19-inch socket bench. Simulation results show that within the wind speed dynamic range of ±100 m/s, the horizontal wind errors due to noise are less than 1 m/s below 20-km altitude for 100-m vertical resolution, and less than 5.5 m/s from 20 km up to 40 km for 500-m vertical resolution with 400-mJ laser energy, 30-min temporal resolution, and a 45-cm aperture telescope.沈法华 Hyunki Cha 董吉辉 Dukhyeon Kim 孙东松 Sung Ok Kwon 2009Chinese Optics Letters2009,7,7:17
2Endoscopic and clinicopathologic characteristics of early gastric cancer with high microsatellite instability显示文摘AIM:To investigate endoscopic and clinicopathologic characteristics of early gastric cancer (EGC) according to microsatellite instability phenotype.METHODS:Data were retrospectively collected from a single tertiary referral center.Of 981 EGC patients surgically treated between December 2003 and October 2007,73 consecutive EGC patients with two or more microsatellite instability (MSI) mutation [high MSI (MSI-H)] and 146 consecutive EGC patients with one or no MSI mutation (non-MSI-H) were selected.The endoscopic and clinicopathologic features were compared between the MSI-H and non-MSI-H EGC groups.RESULTS:In terms of endoscopic characteristics,MSI-H EGCs more frequently presented with elevated pattern (OR 4.38,95% CI:2.40-8.01,P < 0.001),moderateto-severe atrophy in the surrounding mucosa (OR 1.91,95% CI:1.05-3.47,P = 0.033),antral location (OR 3.99,95% CI:2.12-7.52,P < 0.001) and synchronous lesions,compared to non-MSI-H EGCs (OR 2.65,95% CI:1.16-6.07,P = 0.021).Other significant clinicopathologic characteristics of MSI-H EGC included predominance of female sex (OR 2.77,95% CI:1.53-4.99,P < 0.001),older age (> 70 years) (OR 3.30,95% CI:1.57-6.92,P = 0.002),better histologic differentiation (OR 2.35,95% CI:1.27-4.34,P = 0.007),intestinal type by Lauren classification (OR 2.34,95% CI:1.15-4.76,P = 0.019),absence of a signet ring cell component (OR 2.44,95% CI:1.02-5.86,P = 0.046),presence of mucinous component (OR 5.06,95% CI:1.27-20.17,P = 0.022),moderate-to-severe lymphoid stromal reaction (OR 3.95,95% CI:1.59-9.80,P = 0.003),and co-existing underlying adenoma (OR 2.66,95% CI:1.43-4.95,P = 0.002).CONCLUSION:MSI-H EGC is associated with unique endoscopic and clinicopathologic characteristics including frequent presentation in protruded type,co-existing underlying adenoma,and synchronous lesions.Jaehoon Jahng Young Hoon Youn Kwang Hyun Kim Junghwan Yu Yong Chan Lee Woo Jin Hyung Sung Hoon Noh Hyunki Kim Hoguen Kim Hyojin Park Sang In Lee 2012World Journal of Gastroenterology2012,18,27:6
3Mobile Rayleigh Doppler wind lidar based on double-edge technique显示文摘We describe a mobile molecular Doppler wind lidar(DWL) based on double-edge technique for wind measurement of altitudes ranging from 10 to 40 km.A triple Fabry-Perot etalon is employed as a frequency discriminator to determine the Doppler shift proportional to the wind velocity.The lidar operates at 355 nm with a 45-cm-aperture telescope and a matching azimuth-over-elevation scanner that provides full hemispherical pointing.To guarantee wind accuracy,a single servo loop is used to monitor the outgoing laser frequency to remove inaccuracies due to the frequency drift of the laser or the etalon.The standard deviation of the outgoing laser frequency drift is 6.18 MHz and the corresponding velocity error is 1.11 m/s.The wind profiles measured by the DWL are in good agreement with the results of the wind profile radar(WPR).Evaluation is achieved by comparing at altitudes from 2 to 8 km.The relative error of horizontal wind speed is from 0.8 to 1.8 m/s in the compared ranges.The wind accuracy is less than 6 m/s at 40 km and 3 m/s at 10 km.唐磊 舒志峰 董吉辉 王国成 汪永涛 徐文静 胡冬冬 陈廷娣 窦贤康 孙东松 Hyunki Cha 2010Chinese Optics Letters2010,8,8:6

11Contaminated open fracture and crush injury: a murine model显示文摘Modern warfare has caused a large number of severe extremity injuries, many of which become infected. In more recent conflicts, a pattern of co-infection with Acinetobacter baumannii and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus has emerged. We attempted to recreate this pattern in an animal model to evaluate the role of vascularity in contaminated open fractures. Historically, it has been observed that infected bones frequently appear hypovascular, but vascularity in association with bone infection has not been examined in animal models. Adult rats underwent femur fracture and muscle crush injury followed by stabilization and bacterial contamination with A. baumannii complex and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus.Vascularity and perfusion were assessed by micro CT angiography and SPECT scanning, respectively, at 1, 2 and 4 weeks after injury. Quantitative bacterial cultures were also obtained. Multi-bacterial infections were successfully created, with methicillin-resistant S. aureus predominating. There was overall increase in blood flow to injured limbs that was markedly greater in bacteria-inoculated limbs. Vessel volume was greater in the infected group. Quadriceps atrophy was seen in both groups, but was greater in the infected group. 17Use of Local Region Maps on Convolutional LSTM for Single-Image HDR Reconstruction显示文摘Low dynamic range(LDR)images captured by consumer cameras have a limited luminance range.As the conventional method for generating high dynamic range(HDR)images involves merging multiple-exposure LDR images of the same scene(assuming a stationary scene),we introduce a learning-based model for single-image HDR reconstruction.An input LDR image is sequentially segmented into the local region maps based on the cumulative histogram of the input brightness distribution.Using the local region maps,SParam-Net estimates the parameters of an inverse tone mapping function to generate a pseudo-HDR image.We process the segmented region maps as the input sequences on long short-term memory.Finally,a fast super-resolution convolutional neural network is used for HDR image reconstruction.The proposed method was trained and tested on datasets including HDR-Real,LDR-HDR-pair,and HDR-Eye.The experimental results revealed that HDR images can be generated more reliably than using contemporary end-to-end approaches.Seungwook Oh GyeongIk Shin Hyunki Hong 2022Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,6:0
18Single patient classifier as a prognostic biomarker in pT1N1 gastric cancer:Results from two large Korean cohorts显示文摘Objective:Benefits of adjuvant treatment in pT1 N1 gastric cancer(GC)remain controversial.Additionally,an effective biomarker for early GC is the need of the hour.The prognostic and predictive roles of single patient classifier(SPC)were validated in stageⅡ/ⅢGC.In this study,we aimed to elucidate the role of SPC as a biomarker for pT1 N1 GC.Methods:The present retrospective biomarker study(NCT03485105)enrolled patients treated for pT1 N1 GC between 1996 and 2012 from two large hospitals(the Y cohort and S cohort).For SPC,mRNA expression of four classifier genes(GZMB,WARS,SFRP4 and CDX1)were evaluated by real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction assay.The SPC was revised targeting pT1 stages and the prognosis was stratified as high-and lowrisk group by the expression of SFRP4,a representative epithelial-mesenchymal transition marker.Results:SPC was evaluated in 875 patients(n=391 and 484 in the Y and S cohorts,respectively).Among 864 patients whose SPC result was available,41(4.7%)patients experience GC recurrence.According to revised SPC,254(29.4%)patients were classified as high risk[123(31.5%)and 131(27.1%)in the Y and S cohorts,respectively].The high risk was related to frequent recurrence in both Y and S cohort(log-rank P=0.023,P<0.001,respectively),while there was no difference by GZMB and WARS expression.Multivariable analyses of the overall-cohort confirmed the high risk of revised SPC as a significant prognostic factor[hazard ratio(HR):4.402(2.293-8.449),P<0.001]of GC.A significant difference was not detected by SPC in the prognosis of patients in the presence and absence of adjuvant treatment(log-rank P=0.670).Conclusions:The present study revealed the revised SPC as a prognostic biomarker of pT1 N1 GC and suggested the use of the revised SPC for early-stage GC as like stageⅡ/Ⅲ.Yoon Young Choi Eunji Jang Hyunki Kim Kyoung-Mee Kim Sung Hoon Noh Tae Sung Sohn Yong-Min Huh Ji Yeong An Jae-Ho Cheong 2021Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2021,33,5:0
19Using Speaker-Specific Emotion Representations in Wav2vec 2.0-Based Modules for Speech Emotion Recognition显示文摘Speech emotion recognition is essential for frictionless human-machine interaction,where machines respond to human instructions with context-aware actions.The properties of individuals’voices vary with culture,language,gender,and personality.These variations in speaker-specific properties may hamper the performance of standard representations in downstream tasks such as speech emotion recognition(SER).This study demonstrates the significance of speaker-specific speech characteristics and how considering them can be leveraged to improve the performance of SER models.In the proposed approach,two wav2vec-based modules(a speaker-identification network and an emotion classification network)are trained with the Arcface loss.The speaker-identification network has a single attention block to encode an input audio waveform into a speaker-specific representation.The emotion classification network uses a wav2vec 2.0-backbone as well as four attention blocks to encode the same input audio waveform into an emotion representation.These two representations are then fused into a single vector representation containing emotion and speaker-specific information.Experimental results showed that the use of speaker-specific characteristics improves SER performance.Additionally,combining these with an angular marginal loss such as the Arcface loss improves intra-class compactness while increasing inter-class separability,as demonstrated by the plots of t-distributed stochastic neighbor embeddings(t-SNE).The proposed approach outperforms previous methods using similar training strategies,with a weighted accuracy(WA)of 72.14%and unweighted accuracy(UA)of 72.97%on the Interactive Emotional Dynamic Motion Capture(IEMOCAP)dataset.This demonstrates its effectiveness and potential to enhance human-machine interaction through more accurate emotion recognition in speech.Somin Park Mpabulungi Mark Bogyung Park Hyunki Hong 2023Computers, Materials & Continua2023,77,10:0
20Clustering Reference Images Based on Covisibility for Visual Localization显示文摘In feature-based visual localization for small-scale scenes,local descriptors are used to estimate the camera pose of a query image.For large and ambiguous environments,learning-based hierarchical networks that employ local as well as global descriptors to reduce the search space of database images into a smaller set of reference views have been introduced.However,since global descriptors are generated using visual features,reference images with some of these features may be erroneously selected.In order to address this limitation,this paper proposes two clustering methods based on how often features appear as well as their covisibility.For both approaches,the scene is represented by voxels whose size and number are computed according to the size of the scene and the number of available 3Dpoints.In the first approach,a voxel-based histogram representing highly reoccurring scene regions is generated from reference images.A meanshift is then employed to group the most highly reoccurring voxels into place clusters based on their spatial proximity.In the second approach,a graph representing the covisibility-based relationship of voxels is built.Local matching is performed within the reference image clusters,and a perspective-n-point is employed to estimate the camera pose.The experimental results showed that camera pose estimation using the proposed approaches was more accurate than that of previous methods.Sangyun Lee Junekoo Kang Hyunki Hong 2023Computers, Materials & Continua2023,,5:0
