1High expression of ACE2 receptor of 2019-nCoV on the epithelial cells of oral mucosa显示文摘It has been reported that ACE2 is the main host cell receptor of 2019-nCoV and plays a crucial role in the entry of virus into the cell to cause the final infection. To investigate the potential route of 2019-n Cov infection on the mucosa of oral cavity, bulk RNA-seq profiles from two public databases including The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA) and Functional Annotation of The Mammalian Genome Cap Analysis of Gene Expression(FANTOM5 CAGE) dataset were collected. RNA-seq profiling data of 13 organ types with para-carcinoma normal tissues from TCGA and 14 organ types with normal tissues from FANTOM5 CAGE were analyzed in order to explore and validate the expression of ACE2 on the mucosa of oral cavity. Further, single-cell transcriptomes from an independent data generated in-house were used to identify and confirm the ACE2-expressing cell composition and proportion in oral cavity. The results demonstrated that the ACE2 expressed on the mucosa of oral cavity. Interestingly, this receptor was highly enriched in epithelial cells of tongue. Preliminarily, those findings have explained the basic mechanism that the oral cavity is a potentially high risk for 2019-nCoV infectious susceptibility and provided a piece of evidence for the future prevention strategy in dental clinical practice as well as daily life.Hao Xu Liang Zhong Jiaxin Deng Jiakuan Peng Hongxia Dan Xin Zeng Taiwen Li Qianming Chen 2020International Journal of Oral Science2020,12,1:69
2Photodynamic therapy guidelines for the management of oral leucoplakia显示文摘With recent developments in photosensitizers and light delivery systems,topical 5-aminolevulinic acid-mediated photodynamic therapy (ALA-PDT) has become the fourth alternative therapeutic approach in the management of oral leucoplakia (OLK) due to its minimally invasive nature,efficacy,and low risk of systemic side effects and disfigurement.This report presents step-by-step guidelines for applying topical ALA-PDT in the management of OLK based on both the clinical experience of the authors and a systematic review of the current literature.Studies using protocols with standardized parameters and randomized clinical trials at multiple centres with adequate sample sizes and both interim and long-term follow-ups are needed before universally applicable guidelines can be produced in this field.Qianming Chen Hongxia Dan Fan Tang Jiongke Wang Xiaoying Li Junxin Cheng Hang Zhao Xin Zeng 2019International Journal of Oral Science2019,11,2:18

4Rapid and sensitive determination of fatty acids in edible oil by liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry显示文摘A sensitive and robust on-line LC/MS method was developed for quantitative determination of linoleic acid,docosahexaenoic acid and docosanoic acid from edible oil samples.The oil samples were dissolved in chloroform-isopropyl alcohol(20:80,v:v)solution and the three fatty acids were separated by HPLC with a C4 column using 10 mmol/L ammonium acetate-isopropyl alcohol-acetonitrile(20:40:40,v:v:v)mobile phase in isocratic elution.Electrospray ionization mass spectrometry with the selected ion recording monitoring was used to detect and quantify the fatty acid.The calibration curves were linear in the range of 10.00–5000 pg/mL for linoleic acid and docosanoic acid,and 1.000–500.0 pg/mL for docosahexaenoic acid.The limit of detection was 2.0 pg/mL for linoleic acid,3.0 pg/mL for docosanoic acid,and 0.20 pg/mL for docosahexaenoic acid.The results showed that the method described in this paper could be utilized for rapid determination of three fatty acids at picogram levels in edible oils.BI Xin JIN YiBao LI ShangFu GAO Dan JIANG YuYang LIU HongXia 2014Science China Chemistry2014,57,3:4

8Genomes of 12 fig wasps provide insights into the adaptation of pollinators to fig syconia显示文摘Figs and fig pollinators are one of the few classic textbook examples of obligate pollination mutualism.The specific dependence of fig pollinators on the relatively safe living environment with sufficient food sources in the enclosed fig syconia implies that they are vulnerable to habitat changes.However,there is still no extensive genomic evidence to reveal the evolutionary footprint of this long-term mutually beneficial symbiosis in fig pollinators.In fig syconia,there are also non-pollinator species.The non-pollinator species differ in their evolutionary and life histories from pollinators.We conducted comparative analyses on 11 newly sequenced fig wasp genomes and one previously published genome.The pollinators colonized the figs approximately 66.9 million years ago,consistent with the origin of host figs.Compared with nonpollinators,many more genes in pollinators were subject to relaxed selection.Seven genes were absent in pollinators in response to environmental stress and immune activation.Pollinators had more streamlined gene repertoires in the innate immune system,chemosensory toolbox,and detoxification system.Our results provide genomic evidence for the differentiation between pollinators and nonpollinators.The data suggest that owing to the long-term adaptation to the fig,some genes related to functions no longer required are absent in pollinators.Jinhua Xiao Xianqin Wei Yi Zhou Zhaozhe Xin Yunheng Miao Hongxia Hou Jiaxing Li Dan Zhao Jing Liu Rui Chen Liming Niu Guangchang Ma Wenquan Zhen Shunmin He Jianxia Wang Xunfan Wei Weihao Dou Zhuoxiao Sui Haikuan Zhang Shilai Xing Miao Shi Dawei Huang 2021Journal of Genetics and Genomics2021,48,3:1

10Nitrogen and fluorine co-doped TiO_(2)/carbon microspheres for advanced anodes in sodium-ion batteries: High volumetric capacity, superior power density and large areal capacity显示文摘Fast charging and high volumetric capacity are two of the critical demands for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs).Although nanostructured materials achieve outstanding rate performance,they suffer from low tap density and small volumetric capacity.Therefore,how to realize large volumetric capacity and high tap density simultaneously is very challenging.Here,N/F co-doped TiO_(2)/carbon microspheres(NF- TiO_(2)/C)are synthesized to achieve both of them.Theoretical calculations reveal that N and F co-doping increases the contents of oxygen vacancies and narrows the bandgaps of TiO_(2) and C,improving the electronic conductivity of NF- TiO_(2)/C.Furthermore,NF- TiO_(2)/C exhibits the high binding energy and low diffusion energy barrier of Na+,significantly facilitating Na+storage and Na+diffusion.Therefore,NF- TiO_(2)/C offers a high tap density(1.51 g cm^(-3)),an outstanding rate performance(125.9 mAh g^(-1) at 100 C),a large volumetric capacity(190 mAh cm^(-3) at 100 C),a high areal capacity(4.8 mAh cm^(-2))and an ultra-long cycling performance(80.2%after 10,000 cycles at 10 C)simultaneously.In addition,NF- TiO_(2)/C||Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3) full cells achieve an ultrahigh power density of 25.2 kW kg^(-1).These results indicate the great promise of NF- TiO_(2)/C as a high-volumetric-capacity and high-power-density anode material of SIBs.Dan Lv Dongdong Wang Nana Wang Hongxia Liu Shaojie Zhang Yansong Zhu Kepeng Song Jian Yang Yitai Qian 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,5:1
11Rational screening of metal coating on Zn anode for ultrahigh-cumulative-capacity aqueous zinc metal batteries显示文摘Aqueous zinc metal batteries feature intrinsic safety,but suffer from severe dendrite growth and water-derived side reactions.Many metal coatings have been explored for stabilizing Zn metal anode via a trialand-error approach.Here,we propose an exercisable way to screen the potential metal coating on Zn anodes in view of de-polarization effect and dendrite-suppressing ability theoretically.As an output of this screening,cadmium(Cd) metal is checked experimentally.Therefore,symmetric ZnllZn cells using Cd coated Zn(Zn@Cd) exhibit an ultra-long cycle life of 3500 h(nearly 5 months) at a high current density of 10 mA cm^(-2),achieving a record-high cumulative capacity(35 A h cm^(-2)) compared to the previous reports.The full cells of Zn@Cd‖MnO_(2) display a markedly improved cycling performance under harsh conditions including a limited Zn supply(N/P ratio=1.7) and a high areal capacity(3.5 mA h cm^(-2)).The significance of this work lies in not only the first report of Cd coating for stabilizing Zn metal anode,but also a feasible way to screen the promising metal materials for other metal anodes.Dan Lv Huili Peng Cheng Wang Hongxia Liu Dongdong Wang Jian Yang Yitai Qian 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,9:1
