1Metal Sealing Performance of Subsea X-tree Wellhead Connector Sealer显示文摘The metal sealing performance of subsea X-tree wellhead connectors is crucial for the safety and reliability of subsea X-trees. In order to establish the theoretical relation between metal sealing ring's contact stress and its structural parameters and working pressure, a mechanical analysis method for double-cone sealing of high pressure vessels is applied in analyzing the metal sealing ring under the condition of preload and operation. As a result, the formula of the unit sealing load for the metal sealing ring under operation with residual preload is shown in this paper, which ensures that the metal sealing ring has an excellent sealing effect and can prevent the metal sealing ring from yielding. Besides, while analyzing the sealing process of the metal sealing ring, the change rule of contact stress and working pressure is concluded here, putting forward that the structural parameters of the metal sealing ring are the major factors affecting the change rule. Finally, the analytical solution through theoretical analysis is compared with the simulation result through finite element analysis in a force feedback experiment, and both are consistent with each other, which fully verifies for the design and calculation theory on metal sealing ring's contact stress and its structural parameters and working pressure deduced in this paper. 3Systematic Characterization of Long Non-Coding RNAs and Their Responses to Drought Stress in Dongxiang Wild Rice显示文摘Long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs) play important roles in response to various biotic and abiotic stresses. So far, systematic identification and characterization of lncRNAs have been reported in a few model plant species and major crops, but their roles in abiotic stress response have not yet been reported in common wild rice(Oryza rufipogon). Dongxiang wild rice(DXWR) possesses a high degree of drought resistance and has been well recognized as a precious genetic resource for drought resistant rice breeding. We presented the reference catalog of 1 655 novel lncRNA transcripts in DXWR using strand-specific RNA sequencing and bioinformatics approaches. Meanwhile, a total of 1092 lncRNAs were determined as differentially expressed lncRNAs under drought stress. Quantitative real-time PCR results exhibited a high concordance with RNA sequencing data, which confirmed that the expression patterns of lncRNAs based on RNA sequencing were highly reliable. Furthermore, 8 711 transcripts were predicted as target genes of the differentially expressed lncRNAs. Functional annotation analysis based on Gene Ontology and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes databases showed that the target genes were significantly enriched in cellular and metabolic processes, cell part, binding and plant hormone signal transduction, as well as many other terms related to abiotic stress resistance. 4Identification and Characterization of Drought Stress-Responsive Novel microRNAs in Dongxiang Wild Rice显示文摘MicroRNAs(miRNAs) are non-coding small RNAs, which play important regulatory roles in response to biotic and abiotic stresses. Dongxiang wild rice(Oryza rufipogon, DXWR) can survive in extreme drought environment, but its molecular mechanism of drought resistance is still largely unknown. To further explore miRNA regulatory mechanisms involved in drought resistance, we identified 138 novel miRNAs in DXWR using small RNA sequencing and bioinformatics approaches, and found that the expression levels of 67 novel miRNAs were significantly affected by drought stress. In total, 200 candidate target genes were predicted and annotated for the drought stress-responsive novel miRNAs. Gene Ontology(GO) analysis and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG) pathways suggested that most of the target genes were related to metabolism. Stem-loop quantitative real-time PCR(qRT-PCR) results exhibited high concordance with sequencing data, which confirmed that miRNA expression patterns based on small RNA sequencing in the present study were reliable. Meanwhile, qRT-PCR validated the inverse expression patterns between several miRNAs and their target genes. 5Surgical treatment of hepato-pancreato-biliary disease in China:the Tongji experience显示文摘Hepato-pancreato-biliary(HPB) tumors are common in China. However, these tumors are often diagnosed at intermediate/advanced stages because of the lack of a systemic surveillance program in China. This situation creates many technical challenges for surgeons and increases the incidence of postoperative complications. Therefore, Dr. Xiao-Ping Chen has made many important technical improvements, such as Chen's hepatic portal occlusion method, the anterior approach for liver resection of large HCC tumors, the modified technique of Belghiti's liver-hanging maneuver, inserting biliary-enteric anastomosis technique, and invaginated pancreaticojujunostomy with transpancreatic U-sutures. These techniques are simple, practical, and easy to learn. Owing to these advantages, complicated surgical procedures can be simplified, and the curative effects are greatly improved. These improved techniques have been widely applied in China and will benefit many additional patients. 12Biogas residue biochar integrated with phosphate from its ash for the effective recovery of nutrients from piggery biogas slurry显示文摘Magnesium ammonium phosphate(MAP)precipitation generally requires an external phosphorus source to increase the recovery of NH_(4)^(+)-N from biogas slurry.However,P-rich piggery biogas residue has been ignored as a phosphorus source.In this study,biogas residue was carbonized into biogas residue biochar(BRC),followed by acid leaching to synthesize functionalized BRC and release PO_(4)^(3−)-P from its ash as the phosphorus source.The effects of different acids on the leaching efficiency and morphological changes of P in BRC were investigated,and NH_(4)^(+)-N and PO_(4)^(3−)-P in the biogas slurry were recovered with functionalized BRC and MAP precipitation.The results showed that oxalic acid-hydrochloric acid mixed acid could leach more than 96%of P in BRC,while weakening the inhibitory effect of Ca^(2+)on MAP precipitation.The BRC was mainly composed of inorganic P,and most nonapatite IP and apatite P(Ca_(3)(PO_(4))2)were leached during acid leaching,with the latter more easily leached.Under optimal recovery conditions,the method had a significant recovery effect on NH_(4)^(+)-N(96.4%)and PO_(4)^(3−)-P(99.3%)in biogas slurry.The recovery of NH_(4)^(+)-N and PO_(4)^(3−)-P by functionalized BRC was mainly through chemical precipitation(forming NH_(4)MgPO_(4)·H_(2)O precipitate)while bonding with-OH,C=O and C-H functional groups.The final recovery product was also a BRC-based slow-release N-P fertilizer rich in struvite.This study solved the disposal problems of P-rich biogas residue and N-rich biogas slurry while providing an innovative technology for the resource utilization of faecal sewage at pig farms.Zifeng Luo Hongping Wen Haotian Zhang Yunliang Li Xueyi Mai Yulong Zhang Jinjin Wang Yongtao Li Zhen Zhang 2022Biochar2022,4,1:1

14Bedding-parallel fractures in ultradeep tight sandstone reservoirs in Jurassic and Cretaceous of Yongjin Oil Field,Junggar Basin,China显示文摘Bedding-parallel fractures are fractures that are parallel to rock bedding structure planes and have been widely accepted as a key factor for oil and gas production in tight sandstone and shale reservoirs.However,the formation mechanisms of these parallel-bedding fractures are still under debate.In this study,bedding-parallel fractures in Yongjin Oil Field were analyzed using methods including core and microscopic observations,element geochemistry,and carbon and oxygen isotope analysis.Their origin and relations to reservoir quality,faults,and rock mechanical properties were examined.The discovery of bedding-parallel fractures in both the Upper Jurassic and Lower Cretaceous formations indicates that the BPFs are generated later than the early Cretaceous.The filling state of bedding-parallel fractures that with no bitumen and carbonate cement indicate that they formed after oil charging and carbonate cementation.The tensile fracture characteristics in core and thin section observa-tions,and the fact that overburden stress exceeds the pore pressure indicate that the bedding-parallel fractures were neither generated from tectonic compression nor over-pressure.The most likely generation mechanism is stress relief during core drilling under high in situ stress conditions.High in situ stress and low tensile strength lead to thinner fracture spacing.The existence of high bedding-parallel fracture density is an indicator of good reservoir quality and result in high oil/gas production.Hongping LIU Changmin ZHANG Li ZHANG Yang LUO 2022Frontiers of Earth Science2022,16,4:0
15Engineering Dual Oxygen Simultaneously Modified Boron Nitride for Boosting Adsorptive Desulfurization of Fuel显示文摘Oxygen atoms usually co-exist in the lattice of hexagonal boron nitride(h-BN). The understanding of interactions between the oxygen atoms and the adsorbate, however, is still ambiguous on improving adsorptive desulfurization performance. Herein, simultaneously oxygen atom-scale interior substitution and edge hydroxylation in BN structure were constructed via a polymer-based synthetic strategy.Experimental results indicated that the dual oxygen modified BN(BN–2O) exhibited an impressively increased adsorptive capacity about 12% higher than that of the edge hydroxylated BN(BN–OH) fabricated via a traditional method. The dibenzothiophene(DBT) was investigated to undergo multimolecular layer type coverage on the BN–2O uneven surface via π–π interaction, which was enhanced by the increased oxygen doping at the edges of BN–2O. The density functional theory calculations also unveiled that the oxygen atoms confined in BN interior structure could polarize the adsorbate, thereby resulting in a dipole interaction between the adsorbate and BN–2O. This effect endowed BN–2O with the ability to selectively adsorb DBT from the aromatic-rich fuel, thereafter leading to an impressive prospect for the adsorptive desulfurization performance of the fuel. The adsorptive result was in good accordance with Freundlich and pseudo-second-order adsorption kinetics model results.
