| 1 | Fast-moving target tracking based on mean shift and frame-difference methods显示文摘The mean shift tracker has difficulty in tracking fast moving targets and suffers from tracking error accumulation problem.To overcome the limitations of the mean shift method,a new approach is proposed by integrating the mean shift algorithm and frame-difference methods.The rough position of the moving target is first located by the direct frame-difference algorithm and three-frame-difference algorithm for the immobile camera scenes and mobile camera scenes,respectively.Then,the mean shift algorithm is used to achieve precise tracking of the target.Several tracking experiments show that the proposed method can effectively track first moving targets and overcome the tracking error accumulation problem. | Hongpeng Yin Yi Chai Simon X. | 5 | Association of HLA-B Alleles With Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1 Infection in the Yi Ethnic Group in Sichuan Province显示文摘Objective To determine the distribution of HLA-B alleles in the Chinese Yi ethnic group and its association with HIV infection. Methods One hundred and six unrelated healthy HIV negative and 73 HIV positive Chinese Yi ethnic individuals were typed by PCR-SSP. Results The frequency of alleles B*07, B*35, and B*46 were increased in HIV-1-positive subjects, whereas the alleles B*55, B*44 and B*78 were absent in the HIV-infected persons studied. The B*46 allele was present in a significantly higher gene frequency among HIV-1-positive individuals (P=0.02, OR=3.32, 95% CI=1.13-9.78) compared with control subjects. | 6 | Drug screening for influenza neuraminidase inhibitors显示文摘Neuraminidase (NA) is one of the most important targets to screen the drugs of anti-influenza virus A and B. After virtual screening approaches were applied to a compound database which possesses more than 10000 compound structures, 160 compounds were selected for bioactivity assay, then a High Throughput Screening (HTS) model established for influenza virus NA inhibitors was applied to detect these compounds. Finally, three compounds among them displayed higher inhibitory activities, the range of their IC50 was from 0.1 μmol/L to 3μmol/L. Their structural scaffolds are novel and different from those of NA inhibitors approved for influenza treatment, and will be useful for the design and research of new NA inhibitors. | 7 | Structural Surface Crack Monitoring Method Based on Electrical Potential Technique and Modern Surface Technology显示文摘Crack monitoring plays a great role in modern structural health monitoring, however, most of the conventional crack inspections have disadvantages in terms of the accuracy, expense, reliability, durability and level of instrumentation required. Thus, development of a simple and reliable crack inspection technique that allows continuous monitoring has been desired. In this paper, electrical potential technique and modern surface technology are employed together to develop a new structural surface crack monitoring method. A special crack monitoring coating sensor based on electrical potential technique was deposited on the hot spot of the structure by modern surface technology. The sensor consists of three layers: the isolated layer, the sensing layer and the protective layer. The isolated layer is prepared by anodic oxidation technology, the sensing layer is made of ion plated copper, and the protective layer is made of silicone. The thickness of each layer is at micrometer magnitude. The electrical conductivity of the sensor is very stable, and the fatigue performance of the specimen with or without coating sensor is nearly unchanged. The crack monitoring experiment result shows that there are two sudden rises of the coating sensor electrical potential values, corresponding to different stages of the crack initiation and propagation. Since the width of the surface coating sensor is only 0.5 mm, this crack monitoring sensor can detect the propagation of cracks less than 0.5 mm long. The method proposed takes the simplicity of electrical potential technique and can monitor surface crack of nearly all kinds of structures precisely. | 8 | Origin of CO_2 in natural gas from the Triassic Feixianguan Formation of Northeast Sichuan Basin显示文摘The natural gas from the Triassic Feixianguan Formation of Northeast Sichuan Basin contains high H2S whereas relatively low CO2 concentrations and the CO2 display high δ13C values (ranging from -5.81‰ to 3.3‰ (PDB)). This seems to contradict the conventional wisdom that TSR should be a primary source of CO2 in natural gas from the Feixianguan Formation. In contrast, many authigenic calcite samples from these sites display very low δ13C values (ranging from -18.4‰ to -10.3‰ (PDB)). This suggests that the carbon from TSR source dominated the formation of calcite whereas the carbon from inorganic source came into CO2 in natural gas. In order to assess the origin of CO2 from these H2S-rich sites, we have calculated the relative contributions of organic and inorganic carbon sources to the CO2 and authigenic calcite. The organic carbon source possibly originated from TSR, whereas the inorganic one might be generated from marine carbonates dissolution. This calculation is based on the carbon isotopic compositions of CO2 and authigenic calcite as well as an isotopic mass balance. The results show that the contribution of organic carbon source to the CO2 is only 2%, whereas that to authigenic calcite is as high as 43% on average. Such results combined with thermodynamic evidence indicate that the isotopically light CO2 produced by TSR process may contribute to authigenic calcite precipitation during burial diagenesis. Distinguishable from Ordovician reservoir of Tarim Basin, Feixianguan reservoir of Northeast Sichuan Basin experienced rapid tectonic uplift due to Yanshanian movement after TSR occurred. Such tectonic event could induce temperature decrease and further promote carbonates dissolution. During these processes, secondary porosity has developed in Feixianguan carbonate reservoirs. | 9 | First discovery and characterizations of late Cretaceous seep carbonates from Xigaze in Tibet,China显示文摘Hydrocarbon seeps,widely occurring in continental margins,have become increasingly focused owing to their close relationships with gas hydrates,strong greenhouse gas methane,and biological resources in extreme environments.Ancient hydrocarbon seeps have already been recognized from Devonian to Quaternary strata worldwide based on seep carbonates or seep-related fossil chemosynthetic assemblages.However,seep-related deposits are rarely found from ancient strata in the China's Mainland.Here,we report the first discovery of an ancient seep deposit,specifically late Cretaceous seep carbonates from Xigaze in Tibet,China.Xigaze seep carbonates,occurring as nodules,are enclosed in upper Cretaceous turbidite strata in Xigaze forearc basin.These carbonates are composed of authigenic carbonate(56.2% on average),clastic quartz and feldspar(27.3% on average),and clay minerals(chlorite,illite and smectite,16.5% on average).Clotted micrites,peloids and framboid pyrites are frequently observed,all of which are common in modern seep carbonates.The carbonates have negative δ13 C values varying from 27.7‰ to 4.0‰(V-PDB),suggesting that thermogenic methane is the primary carbon source.Ce/Ce* values revised by eliminating La effects show no real Ce anomaly,indicating the carbonates were primarily precipitated in a weak reducing environment.Overall,these features provide unequivocal evidences that the seafloor of Xigaze forearc basin developed hydrocarbon seeps in late Cretaceous. | TONG HongPeng CHEN DuoFu | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,33: | 6 |

Here we developed a thera no stic nan oparticle (~24 nm size by dynamic light scatteri ng) p-FE-PTX-FA based on polymeric micelle encapsulating an organic dye (FE) fluorescing in the 1,000-1,700 nm second near-infrared (NIR-Ⅱ) window and an an ti-ca ncer drug paclitaxel. Folic acid (FA) was conjugated to the nan oparticles to afford specific binding to molecular folate receptors on muri ne breast can cer 4T1 tumor cells. In vivo, the nan oparticles accumulated in 4T1 tumor through both passive and active targeting effect. Under an 808 nm laser excitation, fluorescence detection above 1,300 nm afforded a large Stokes shift, allowing targeted molecular imaging tumor with high signal to background ratios, reaching a high tumor to normal tissue signal ratio (T/NT) of (20.0±2.3). Further, 4T1 tumors on mice were completed eradicated by paclitaxel released from p-FE-PTA-FA within 20 days of the first injection. Pharmacokinetics and histology studies indicated p-FE-PTX-FA had no obvious toxic side effects to major organs. | 12 | Insights into support effects on Ce-Zr-O mixed oxide-supported gold catalysts in CO oxidation显示文摘Au/Ce1xZrxO2 catalysts (x=0-0.8) were prepared by a deposition-precipitation method using Ce1xZrxO2 nanoparticles as supports with variable Ce and Zr contents. Their structures were characterized by complimentary means such as X-ray diffraction, Raman, scanning transmission electron microscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). These Au catalysts possessed similar sizes and crystalline phases of Ce1xZrxO2 supports as well as similar sizes and oxidation states of Au nanoparticles. The oxidation state of Au nanoparticles was dominated by Au 0 especially in CO oxidation. Their activities were examined in CO oxidation at different temperatures in the range of 303 333 K. The CO oxidation rates normalized per Au atoms increased with the increasing Ce contents, and reached the maximum value over Au/CeO2. Such change was in parallel with the change in the oxygen storage capacity values, i.e. the amounts of active oxygen species on Au/Ce1xZrxO2 catalysts. The excellent correlation between the two properties of the catalysts suggests that the intrinsic support effects on the CO oxidation rates is related to the effects on the adsorption and activation of O2 on Au/Ce1xZrxO2 catalysts. | 14 | Study on the ore-forming and ore-controlling structure of the Mujicun Cu (Mo) ore deposit, Hebei Province, China显示文摘The Mujicun Cu (Mo) ore deposit at Laiyuan, Hebei Province, is a currently proven large-sized Cu (Mo) polymetallic ore deposit and it is located in the second-ordered fault depression basin of the ditachment belt on the hanging-wall on the western side at the juncture of the Laiyuan dumbell-shaped complex in the northern part of the Fuping mantle-branch structure. Metallogenesis is controlled by diorite porphyrite in intrusive relation with the fault depression basin and other relevant fault structure systems and intenstive wall-rock alteration zones. This study, in conjunction with the most recent exploration data, analyzed the geological background of metallogenesis of this deposit, summaried the geological characteristics of typical ore deposits, determined the alteration zonation of the deposit, investigated regional metallogenesis and the genesis of typical ore deposits, discussed the regional ore-forming and ore-controlling structures, and generalized the regional ore-controlling model and metallogenic model of the deposit. | 15 | Mode for reducing wind curtailment based on battery transportation显示文摘Renewable energy sources, such as wind and solar, face several obstacles, including curtailment, where the generated energy exceeds local demand and production must be reduced because of limited transmission capacity.Simultaneously, consumer demand for large-capacity batteries is expanding given the recent rapid development of electric vehicles(EVs) and plug-in hybrid EVs. A batterycharging mode, in which discharged batteries are transported from battery exchange stations in high-load areas to wind farms, is proposed to alleviate curtailment. In this study, batteries store otherwise curtailed energy and smooth the wind power output simultaneously. The structure of the battery-charging device is discussed, and the concept of a battery-charging container is proposed. The control principle of the battery-charging management unit is presented with a simulation model constructed in the PSCAD/EMTDC environment. A case study is simulated,and the feasibility of the mode is analyzed considering the levelized cost and energy losses. | 16 | Analysis of SSR loci and development of SSR primers in Eucalyptus显示文摘In this study,28,691 genome sequences and16,566 expressed sequence tags(ESTs) of Eucalyptus were derived from the Gen Bank database.A total of 2292 SSR loci were sought out from 1785 effective sequences.Through analyses of SSR loci information,the SSR motif length was negatively correlated with the abundance of the SSRs.In the EST sequences of Eucalyptus,triplet repeat motifs were the most abundant,and dinucleotide repeats motifs had the highest frequencies.Subsequently,395 pairs of primers were designed based on the SSR loci.Using optimized SSR-PCR conditions,340 pairs of primers were successfully screened,with a success rate of 86.1%.By construction of a maximum likelihood phylogenetic tree of six eucalypt species,represented by five species of the genus Eucalyptus and one of the genus Corymbia,the genetic relationships of Eucalyptus urophylla and E.camaldulensis suggested by this tree was found to differ from that suggested by traditional morphological taxonomy.The results provide insights for evaluating geneticdiversity of Eucalyptus and analysis of Eucalyptus phylogenetics using SSR markers. | Guo Liu Yaojian Xie Dangquan Zhang Hongpeng Chen | 2018 | Journal of Forestry Research2018,29,2: | 2 |

| 18 | Development of a Percentile Based Three-dimensional Model of the Buttocks in Computer System显示文摘There are diverse products related to human buttocks, which need to be designed, manufactured and evaluated with 3D buttock model. The 3D buttock model used in present research field is just simple approximate model similar to human buttocks. The 3D buttock percentile model is highly desired in the ergonomics design and evaluation for these products. So far, there is no research on the percentile sizing system of human 3D buttock model. So the purpose of this paper is to develop a new method for building three-dimensional buttock percentile model in computer system. After scanning the 3D shape of buttocks, the cloud data of 3D points is imported into the reverse engineering software(Geomagic) for the reconstructing of the buttock surface model. Five characteristic dimensions of the buttock are measured through mark-points after models being imported into engineering software CATIA. A series of space points are obtained by the intersecting of the cutting slices and 3D buttock surface model, and then are ordered based on the sequence number of the horizontal and vertical slices. The 1st, 5th, 50 th, 95 th, 99 th percentile values of the five dimensions and the spatial coordinate values of the space points are obtained, and used to reconstruct percentile buttock models. This research proposes a establishing method of percentile sizing system of buttock 3D model based on the percentile values of the ischial tuberosities diameter, the distances from margin to ischial tuberosity and the space coordinates value of coordinate points, for establishing the Nth percentile 3D buttock model and every special buttock types model. | 19 | Nearshore Wave Field Analysis Using SAR Images显示文摘Satellite remote sensing technique offers a wide range of information, and is one of the tools for ocean wave observation. This paper discusses the limitations of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) images in wave field analysis. It is found that the wave field analysis is affected by the gray value distribution of image and the relationship between satellite travel and wave propagation directions. Since human activities and coastal engineering are performed in nearshore areas, some issues are discussed for nearshore SAR image analysis. Several case studies show that the wave parameters estimated from nearshore SAR images are quite different from in situ measurements, suggesting that the wave information derived from nearshore SAR images cannot appropriately represent the wave characteristics. | 20 | Promoting effect of chloride ions on selective oxidation of methanol to methyl formate over zirconia-supported ruthenium oxide catalysts显示文摘The effect of chloride ions on a monoclinic ZrO2-supported RuOx(RuOx/m-ZrO2) catalyst with a Ru surface density of 0.3 Ru/nm2 was studied in the selective oxidation of methanol to methyl formate(MF) at a low temperature of 373 K.The m-ZrO2 support was Cl-free,and Cl- ions were introduced into the RuOx/m-ZrO2 catalyst by impregnation with zirconium oxychloride or ammonium chloride and subsequent thermal treatment in air at 673 K.The structures of these catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction,Raman and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopies.Their reducibility was probed by temperature-programmed reduction in H2.The RuOx domains were present as highly dispersed RuO42- structure on m-ZrO2 with similar reducibility for the RuOx/m-ZrO2 samples irrespective of modification with or without Cl- ions.Introduction of appropriate amounts of zirconium oxychloride into RuOx/m-ZrO2 led to a remarkable increase in the methanol oxidation rate and MF selectivity,whereas introduction of ammonium chloride or zirconyl nitrate significantly inhibited the catalytic performance of RuOx/m-ZrO2.The promoting effect of Cl- ions derived from zirconium oxychloride can be tentatively attributed to their roles in facilitating the adsorption of methanol and desorption of MF product or its intermediates.This finding provides novel insights into the promoting effect of Cl ions on oxides-based catalysts for selective oxidation reactions. | Weizhen Li Hongpeng Zhang Xiaohui He Haichao Liu | 2013 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2013,22,3: | 2 |
