4Toward reverse engineering on secret S-boxes in block ciphers显示文摘It has been widely accepted that the security cryptosystems should be only dependent on the security of their secret keys.However,there are still secret ciphers with unknown components in their commercial applications due to various reasons.The existing reverse engineering analyzes are developed for analyzing specific ciphers,and cannot cope with secret algorithms with diferent structures.By looking into the common characteristics of the secret algorithms of ciphers implemented with unknown S-boxes,we proposed a novel reverse engineering analysis approach referred to as Signed Reverse Engineering based on Diferential Power Analysis(SREDPA).It is a generic reverse engineering analysis and can recover the parameters of the secret S-boxes of the block ciphers in typical structures such as SPN,Feistel,and XFeistel(eXtended Feistel).By identifying the bias of the diferential power analysis(DPA)traces,we build the theoretical model of SREDPA and prove its efectiveness.Experiments are performed on secret algorithms in diferent structures and further validate our SREDPA experimentally.The complexity of SREDPA only relies on the size of S-boxes and the reverse engineering analysis is efcient.As shown in the theoretical analysis and the conducted experiments,our SREDPA approach is readily to be extended for analyzing other secret ciphers with unknown S-boxes.This renders a new challenge on the design and implementation of secret ciphers.TANG Ming QIU ZhenLong PENG HongBo HU XiaoBo YI Mu ZHANG HuanGuo 2014Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,3:4

13Enhancing bioactivity and stability of polymer-based materialtissue interface through coupling multiscale interfacial interactions with atomic-thin TiO2 nanosheets显示文摘Stable and bioactive material-tissue interface(MTF)basically determines the clinical applications of biomaterials in wound healing,sustained drug release,and tissue engineering.Although many inorganic nanomaterials have been widely explored to enhance the stability and bioactivity of polymer-based biomaterials,most are still restricted by their stability and biocompatibility.Here we demonstrate the enhanced bioactivity and stability of polymer-matrix bio-composite through coupling multiscale material-tissue interfacial interactions with atomically thin TiO_(2)nanosheets.Resin modified with TiO_(2)nanosheets displays improved mechanical properties,hydrophilicity,and stability.Also,we confirm that this resin can effectively stimulate the adhesion,proliferation,and differentiation into osteogenic and odontogenic lineages of human dental pulp stem cells using in vitro cell-resin interface model.TiO_(2)nanosheets can also enhance the interaction between demineralized dentinal collagen and resin.Our results suggest an approach to effectively up-regulate the stability and bioactivity of MTFs by designing biocompatible materials at the sub-nanoscale.Rongchen Xu Xiaodan Mu Zunhan Hu Chongzhi Jia Zhenyu Yang Zhongliang Yang Yiping Fan Xiaoyu Wang Yuefeng Wu Xiaotong Lu Jihua Chen Guolei Xiang Hongbo Li 2023Nano Research2023,16,4:0
14Leaf recognition using BP-RBF hybrid neural network显示文摘Plant recognition has great potential in forestry research and management.A new method combined back propagation neural network and radial basis function neural network to identify tree species using a few features and samples.The process was carried out in three steps:image pretreatment,feature extraction,and leaf recognition.In the image pretreatment processing,an image segmentation method based on hue,saturation and value color space and connected component labeling was presented,which can obtain the complete leaf image without veins and back-ground.The BP-RBF hybrid neural network was used to test the influence of shape and texture on species recogni-tion.The recognition accuracy of different classifiers was used to compare classification performance.The accuracy of the BP-RBF hybrid neural network using nine dimensional features was 96.2%,highest among all the classifiers.Xin Yang Haiming Ni Jingkui Li Jialuo Lv Hongbo Mu Dawei Qi 2022Journal of Forestry Research2022,33,2:0
