4Remediation of Organochlorine Pesticide-Contaminated Soils by Surfactant-Enhanced Washing Combined with Activated Carbon Selective Adsorption显示文摘Remediation of organochlorine pesticide (OCP)-contaminated soils is urgently required especially in China. The present study investigated the removal of OCPs from two soils by triton X-100 (TX- 100)-enhanced washing coupled with powdered activated carbon (PAC) adsorption treatment of the solution. Two contaminated soils, including a silt clay contaminated w计h chlordene, dichloro- 2,2-6is(p-chlorophenyl)ethanes (DDDs), and dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane (DDT) and a sandy loam containing chlordanes and mirex, were selected. Effects of varied operating parameters, including TX-100 dosage, liquid/soil (L/S) ratio, and extraction time, on the contaminant removal were examined. For both soils, OCP removal was clearly enhanced with increasing TX-100 in extraction solution and L/S ratio. Meanwhile, the removal efficacy was also impacted by soil texture and characteristics and contents of the contaminants. Moreover, by using PAC as an absorbent, a significant decrease in the contaminants in the extraction solutions was detected, and TX-100 could be further reused. 5Age-related changes of senescence-accelerated mouse prone 10 (SAMP10) mice as an animal model for AD显示文摘Background: To explore the influence of age-related changes in learning and memory capacity of SAMP10, an Alzheimer's disease (AD) model mice, and provide theoretical foundation for the selection of month age in related experiment. Methods: SAMP10 female mice with the age of 3, 6 and 9 months were used as the objects of experiment, while the age-matched female SAMR1 were used as the controls, with 12 in each group. The learning memory capacity of mice at different age was detected through Morris water maze and step-down passive avoidance test;meanwhile, the acetylcholine, acetylcholinesterase, choline acetyltransferase, and M-cholinergic receptor binding capacity levels were determined to detect the cholinergic system damage degree in mice with different month age. In addition, the contents of monoamine neurotransmitters such as dopamine, 3,4-dihydroxyphenyl acetic acid, homovanillic acid, norepinephrine and 5-HT, as well as those of amino acid transmitters such as glutamic acid, glutamine, aspartic acid,γ-aminobutyric acid, taurine and glycine in the brain cortex were detected by high performance liquid chromatography-electrochemical deposition. Besides, changes in hippocampal neurons were observed through Nissl staining, and the changes of Aβ in hippocampal CA1 and CA2 regions of SAMP10 were also detected by immunohistochemistry so as to explore the effects of age on the memory capacity of SAMP10. Results: It was discovered in the behavior test and AD-related index tests that: there was no significant difference between the age-matched SAMR1 and the SAMP10 at the age of 3 and 6 months. But the 9-months-old mice suffered remarkable senescence characteristics, including obviously declined learning memory capacity;down-regulated neurotransmitter levels, enzyme activities and amino acid expression;reduced hippocampal neuron number;and increased deposition of hippocampal Aβ protein. Conclusion: It is discovered in this study through behavior tests and AD-related indexs detection that, the learning memory capacity of SAMP10 shows age-dependence, which is gradually decreased with the increase of age, and the 9-months-old mice have developed marked memory impairment and senescence characteristics. 6Effects of icariin on the expression of β-amyloid in hippocampus of SAMP 10 in rapidly aging mice显示文摘To investigate the expression of beta-amyloid protein on icariin in the hippocampal of senescence accelerated mouse SAMP10.The 8-month-old SAMP10 were randomly divided into model group,Donepezil Hydrochloride(DON)-treated SAMP10 group(1 mg·kg^-1)and ICA-treated SAMP10 groups(50、100、200 mg·kg^-1),with 6 mice in each group.while the age-matched senescence accelerated mouse/resistance1(SAMR1)were used as the normal control.After 30 days of oral administration,the method of Nissl was used to detect neurons on icariin in the hippocampal of senescence accelerated mouse SAMP10.The expression of betaamyloid protein on icariin in the hippocampal of senescence accelerated mouse SAMP10 was detected by the method of immunohistochemical.It was discovered that the nerve cells in groups of ICA arranged regularly,and the number of neurons increasing.We can conduct that ICA may reduce the average optical density of beta-amyloid protein in the CA1 and CA3 region of hippocampal on SAMP10.ICA may reduce the beta-amyloid protein deposition in CA1 and CA3 region of hippocampal on SAMP10 to improve learning and memory ability.Lei Yu Xue Bai Linna Gao Xiaoli He 2019TMR Aging2019,1,1:0
7Pure Red Cell Aplasia Caused by Parvovirus B19 in Patients with Human Immunodeficiency Virus Infection: A Series of Four Cases显示文摘Parvovirus B19(B19V)infection can cause pure red cell aplasia(PRCA)in patients with human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)infection.Intravenous immunoglobulin(IVIG)is a preferred treatment option.From July 2019 to March 2022,four patients with HIV infection were admitted to Guangzhou Eighth People’s Hospital with dizziness and fatigue and were diagnosed with PRCA.Blood investigations revealed severe anemia and the B19V genome.Therefore,the four patients were diagnosed with B19V-induced PRCA.All four patients received red blood cell transfusion in the setting of antiretroviral therapy,and two of the four patients received intravenous immunoglobulin(IVIG).After 3-7 months of treatment,all four patients recovered,although two did not receive IVIG.This suggests that IVIG is not always necessary for the treatment of PRCA in patients with HIV infection and that effective antiretroviral therapy and immunological reconstitution play an important role in the eradication of parvovirus.Feilong Xu Yulong Wang Linjin Fan Yaozu He Xiejie Chen Pengfei Ye Linna Liu Jun Qian Linghua Li 2023Infectious Diseases & Immunity2023,3,3:0

9Interfacial modification using the cross-linkable tannic acid for highly-efficient perovskite solar cells with excellent stability显示文摘Although the performance of perovskite solar cells(PSCs)has been dramatically increased in recent years,stability is still the main obstacle preventing the PSCs from being commercial.PSC device instability can be caused by a variety of reasons,including ions diffusion,surface and grain boundary defects,etc.In this work,the cross-linkable tannic acid(TA)is introduced to modify perovskite film through post-treatment method.The numerous organic functional groups(–OH and C=O)in TA can interact with the uncoordinated Pb^(2+)and I^(-)ions in perovskite,thus passivating defects and inhibiting ions diffusion.In addition,the formed TA network can absorb a small amount of the residual moisture inside the device to protect the perovskite layer.Furthermore,TA modification regulates the energy level of perovskite,and reduces interfacial charge recombination.Ultimately,following TA treatment,the device efficiency is increased significantly from 21.31%to 23.11%,with a decreased hysteresis effect.Notably,the treated device shows excellent air,thermal,and operational stability.In light of this,the readily available,inexpensive TA has the potential to operate as a multipurpose interfacial modifier to increase device efficiency while also enhancing device stability.Xing Gao Lirong Rong Fei Wu Yen-Hung Lin Ye Zeng Junhong Tan Rongxing He Cheng Zhong Linna Zhu 2024Journal of Energy Chemistry2024,91,4:0
