| 1 | Viscosity behavior of magnetic suspensions in fluid-assisted finishing显示文摘Magnetic fluid-assisted finishing has been verified both theoretically and experimentally as an effective fabrication technology for opti- cal mirrors and lenses.The purpose of this paper is to introduce a novel design of polishing tool and demonstrate the possible applica- tions of this technology.The work includes studying the viscosity of the magnetic suspensions of micrometer-sized Carbonyl iron particles under the influence of a magnetic field.Both the cases of magnetizable suspension with and without abrasive cerium oxide par- ticles are studied for their ensuing polishing effectiveness.Determination of material removal function is conducted using a Wyko Nat1100 interferometer.Experiments to reduce surface roughness with the proposed tool are also performed using a K9 mirror as the work-piece.Results show that the surface accuracy is improved over three times to less than 0.5 nm after two cycles of polishing. | Haobo Cheng Yam Yeung Hang Tong | 2008 | Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2008,18,1: | 2 |

| 17 | Experimental investigation on indoor daylight environment of building with Cadmium Telluride photovoltaic window显示文摘Photovoltaic(PV)windows have received more and more attention in recent years since their active energy-saving advantages.Considering the surface covered with solar cell modules,the indoor daylight environment of PV windows is obviously different with clear glass windows.However,despite many scholars have studied the indoor daylight environment of PV windows,there few investigations study it from the perspective of human subjective visual perception.In this paper,the indoor daylight environment and human visual comfort of building with Cadmium Telluride Photovoltaic(CdTe-PV)window were investigated.Firstly,the parameters of indoor daylight environment and subjective questionnaires in rooms with CdTe-PV window and clear glass window were analyzed respectively.On the basis of this,combined with indoor working surface illuminance and results of subjective questionnaires,the daylight illuminance threshold of human visual comfort was investigated by the method of Mean Bias Degree(MBD).Finally,an evaluation model for indoor daylight environment of buildings with CdTe-PV window was developed by Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Method.The results showed that the working surface illuminance of CdTe-PV window was lower than that of clear glass room,the CCT of different windows room had a minor gap and the CdTe-PV window room was closer to the recommended range that was 3300-5000K.As for CRI,both the CdTe-PV window room and the clear glass room could meet the visual comfort requirements of office staff.Furthermore,it was found that the requirement of human visual comfort was met when indoor working surface illuminance varies between 500-2200lx in the room with CdTe-PV window.At last,according to the comprehensive evaluation model proposed in this paper,it was found that the indoor daylight environment of buildings with CdTe-PV window was excellent in the present experiment. | Yilin Hu Qingwen Xue Haobo Wang Peng Zou Jinming Yang Shikeng Chen Yuanda Cheng | 2024 | Energy and Built Environment2024,5,3: | 0 |

The iterative equation with high- order truncation errors is derived for calculating the specular surface with large aperture based on high-order finite-difference algorithm. To achieve the wavefront estimation and improve convergence speed, the numerical orthogonal transformation method based on Zemike polynomials is implemented to obtain the initial iteration value. The reconstruction results of simulated surface identified the advantages of the proposed method. Furthermore, a freeform in illuminating system has been used to demonstrate the validity of the improved method in practical measurement. The results show that the proposed method has the advantages of making the reconstruction of different shape apertures accurate and rapid. | 19 | Deformation structure and exhumation process of the Laojunshan gneiss dome in southeastern Yunnan of China显示文摘Middle-lower crust and mantle rocks are generally widely exposed in metamorphic core complex or gneiss dome,which is an ideal place to study the exhumation process related to regional extension and rheology.The Laojunshan metamorphic complex in southeastern Yunnan is located in a special tectonic position surrounded by the Cathaysia,Yangtze and Indochina blocks.It is composed of different metamorphic-deformation rocks and granitic intrusions.There also are many economic deposits(e.g.,tin and tungsten)that are spatially and genetically associated with the formation and exhumation of the Laojunshan gneiss dome.Based on detailed analysis of macro-and microscopic structure,stress field distribution and deformation condition,the tectonic units of the Laojunshan metamorphic complex show obvious characteristics of doming,as well as of typical structural units of metamorphic core complex.It has strongly deformed metamorphic gneiss core(footwall),detachment fault system and sedimentary cover(hanging wall)with lightly metamorphism and deformation.The footwall of gneiss dome presents a strongly ductile deformation domain,accompanied by different ages of granitic intrusions.The distribution of developed foliation and lineation within granitic gneisses are arc-shaped and radial,respectively,with a nearly N-S trending from the footwall to the hanging wall.Mylonitization of deformed rocks gradually weakens and transits to orthogneiss as it moves away from the detachment fault toward the footwall.The low angle detachment fault between the footwall and the hanging wall shows an arc-like shape feature.Mylonite fabrics are preserved in the deformed rocks of the detachment fault,which are mainly composed of chloritized schist,fault breccia,cataclasite and fault gouge.A large number of normal faults are developed in detachment faults and hanging wall,and their stress fields radiate in an arc around the footwall.Zircon U-Pb ages of amphibolite and granitic gneiss from the footwall range from 445 to 420 Ma,indicating the timing of Caledonian magmatic emplacement and the main formation period of the Laojunshan gneiss dome.U-Pb ages of the zircon metamorphic rims are 241-230 Ma,representing the timing of high temperature metamorphism and shortened deformation of the Indosinian collision.In this period,the Laojunshan gneiss dome experienced the tectonic compression in association with high temperature metamorphism-deformation,which was superimposed by detachment and extensional exhumation in association with intense hydrothermal interaction and mineralization in the late stage. | Zhong LIU Shuyun CAO Yanlong DONG Wei LI Xuemei CHENG Haobo WANG Meixia LYU | 2021 | Science China Earth Sciences2021,64,12: | 0 |
