| 1 | 多次雷电冲击对氧化锌避雷器阀片性能的影响(英文)显示文摘A lightning arrester is used for electrical equipment protection against damage due to lightning strikes.One example of protected electrical equipment is electrical power transformer.If there is no lightning arrester installed to the transformer,when a lightning strike happens,it may receive a very high lightning overvoltage,which is certainly resulted in the transformer damage at its insulation.Usually,a lightning arrester specification data attached to a lightning arrester contains the rating data of the lightning arrester current and voltage.In the use of lightning arrester,the possibility of receiving multiple lightning strikes is not taken into account sometimes.In fact,in some places,the number of multiple strikes in short duration is quiet high in number.This condition makes the lightning arrester being stroked by multiple lightning strikes.Therefore,it may change the lightning arrester's properties,and then the arrester may not be able to provide good electrical equipment protection against lightning strike anymore.This condition will result in great loss to electrical companies and electrical consumers.Therefore,this research studied the effect of applying multiple lightning strikes to ZnO lightning arrester block.Every time a group of lightning impulse current is applied to the ZnO lightning arrester block,it is followed by the measuring of its 50 Hz voltage and current characteristic. The changing in the ZnO lightning arrester block 50 Hz characteristic then can be analyzed.It was found that by applying more numbers of lightning strikes which made the arrester becoming worse,even though,actually,the lightning impulse peak current was still under the rating of the lightning arrester current.In this case for a 5 kA,24 kV lightning arrester,even though the lightning impulse peak current flowing through the ZnO lightning arrester block was still 2500 A,the lightning arrester ZnO block had already been damaged.Having been damaged,an alternating current flowing through the damaged ZnO block was about 10000 times as much current flowing to the good one.The maximum of impulse energy absorbed by a ZnO block recorded was 334.7 J/cm^3.The damaged ZnO block should be replaced by a good one. | Haryono T Sirait K T Tumiran Hamzah Berahim | 2011 | 高电压技术2011,37,11: | 13 |
| 2 | Effect of Y_2O_3 stabilized ZrO_2 coating with tri-model structure on bi-layered thermally grown oxide evolution in nano thermal barrier coating systems at elevated temperatures显示文摘Bi-layered thermally grown oxide(TGO) layer plays a major role in the spallation of Y2 O3 stabilized ZrO2(YSZ) layer form the bond coat in the thermal barrier coating(TBC) systems during oxidation. On the other hand, bi-layered TGO formation and growth in the TBC systems with nanostructured YSZ have not been deeply investigated during cyclic oxidation. Hence, Inconel 738/NiCrAlY/normal YSZ and Inconel 738/NiCrAlY/nano YSZ systems were pre-oxidized at 1000 °C and then subjected to cyclic oxidation at 1150 °C. According to microstructural observations, nanostructured YSZ layer over the bond coat should have less micro-cracks and pinholes, due to the compactness of the nanostructure and the presence of nano zones that resulted in lower O infiltration into the nanothermal barrier coating system, formation of thinner and nearly continuous mono-layered thermally grown oxide on the bond coat during pre-oxidation, lower spinels formation at the Al2 O3 /YSZ interface and finally, reduction of bi-layered thermally grown oxide thickness during cyclic oxidation. | 3 | Investigation of three steps of hot corrosion process in Y_2O_3 stabilized ZrO_2 coatings including nano zones显示文摘Phase transformation of tetragonal ZrO2 to monoclinic phase and also increment of bond coat oxidation kinetic(TGO thickening) can substantially restrict the life time of thermal barrier coating systems(TBCs). So, nanostructured and conventional Y2O3 stabilized ZrO2 coatings were evaluated in fused V2O5-Na2SO4 salts during thermal exposure in air. Microstructural characterization showed lower hot corrosion products(monoclinic zirconia, YVO4 crystals) formation and reduction of TGO thickness in thermal barrier coating system consisting of nanostructured Y2O3 stabilized ZrO2(YSZ) top coat. It was found that inhomogeneities, pores and micro-cracks played a principal role in the molten salts infiltration into the YSZ coating during three steps of hot corrosion process. | 5 | Review of sustainability, pretreatment, and engineering considerations of asphalt modifiers from the industrial solid wastes显示文摘The escalating mass of solid waste at an overwhelming sum requires a global attention to strive for efficient waste management and to outsource the ecological treatments. The asphalt pavement industry that consumes a vast scale of natural resources while contributing to thermal and greenhouse emissions is viewed as a high potential alternative for the application of solid waste as asphalt modifier and substantial waste reduction. In efforts to urge for cleaner and greener asphalt production, a growing trend towards usage of solid waste as a renewable material is paving a sustainable future for the asphalt pavement industry. The economic options of incorporating solid waste into the asphaltic mixture coupled with proven effective performances are a green and cost-effective alternative to mitigate various pavement distresses. Various options either as coarse or fine aggregates and as fillers in powder, ash, or fibre form are to stimulate further research interest to incorporate a diversified range of solid waste into the asphalt binder and asphalt mixture. Prior to incorporating solid waste into the asphaltic mixture through the selected options, prerequisite tests in addressing engineering limitations due to the unknown properties of solid waste are reviewed. The concerns on environmental impact are given heavy metals leaching possibilities into water sources are addressed by Toxicity Characterization Leaching Procedure test, to leverage further the systematic reuse of solid waste in steering towards the cleaner production of the asphalt mixture. The microcosmic traits of solid waste namely surface morphology, mineralogical composition and chemical composition are summarized based on the usage of Scanning Electron Microscope, X-Ray Diffraction, and X-Ray Fluorescence, respectively. | 8 | 硅橡胶环氧树脂复合材料电痕的实验研究(英文)显示文摘The use of polymer materials as electrical insulators on transmission and distribution lines has been increasing such as epoxy resin.Several advantages of using epoxy resin as an insulating material are its low density,better dielectric properties,and epoxy resin has higher volume resistivity than that of the glass and porcelain.However,epoxy resin has some disadvantages when it is used in tropical areas concerning with the humidity,high ultraviolet radiation, acid rain and effects of contaminants.Consequently,insulator surface will be easily damaged due to electrical tracking,which is indicated by the surface tracking.In this paper,the surface tracking on epoxy resin compound with silicon rubber has been investigated.The test was done based on the method of Inclined-Planed Tracking(IPT) IEC 587:1984 with NH_4C1 as contaminant.The test materials used were epoxy resins based on Diglycidyl Ether of Bisphenol A(DGEBA) and Methaphenylene Diamine(MPDA) compound with silicon rubber(SiR) with the dimensions of 50 mm×120 mm and the thickness of 6 mm.The flow rate of contaminant was 0.3 mL/min.The 3.5 kV AC high voltage 50 Hz was applied to the top electrodes.The experimental results show that the contact angle of hydrophobic was affected by compound of silicon rubber.The surface tracking,time to tracking and discharge current were affected by applied voltage,contamination and contact angle.By using micro-cameras,the surface damage was detected. | 10 | Keladi candik(Alocasia longiloba Miq.) petiole extracts promote wound healing in a full thickness excision wound model in rats显示文摘Objective: To investigate the wound-healing effect of Alocasia longiloba(A. longiloba) petiole extract on wounds in rats.Methods: Twenty-two male Sprague-dawley rats were randomly assigned to receive 10% solcoseryl gel, phosphate buffer saline, 50% ethanol, 95% ethanol and hexane extracts of A. longiloba at 1.5%, 3% and 6% doses, respectively. A full thicknesses wound(6 mm) was created on the dorsal of the rat; and all rats were applied with the extract solutions, 10% solcoseryl gel and phosphate buffer saline once a day topically until day 12. The wound was photographed on day 1, 6 and 12, and the percentage of wound contraction was calculated. On day 12, rats were sacrificed and histological examination of granulation tissue was carried out using haematoxylin & eosin and Masson's Trichrome stain to determine the wound healing effect.Results: In this study, 6% of 50% and 95% ethanol extracts of A. longiloba showed 82.50% and 82.32% wound contraction, respectively, and were comparable with 10% solcoseryl gel(82.30%). Meanwhile, phosphate buffer saline treated group showed the lowest wound contraction(69.86%). Histological assessment of wound treated with 6% of 95% ethanol extract of A. longiloba showed distinct epidermal and dermal layer, higher proliferation of fibroblast and more angiogenesis with collagen compared to other wound treated groups.Conclusions: A. longiloba petiole extracts have a wound healing potential and 6% of 95% ethanol extract of A. longiloba is more effective. | 14 | Evaluation of asphalt mixture behavior incorporating warm mix additives and reclaimed asphalt pavement显示文摘Incorporation of warm mix asphalt(WMA) and reclaimed asphalt pavement(RAP) has benefited the asphalt industry in many ways such as reducing the demand for virgin materials, lowering energy requirement during the asphalt production and construction, in addition to reducing greenhouse-gas emissions. This study evaluated the effects of Evotherm~ and RH-WMA and RAP on mixtures' behavior in terms of the compaction energy index(CEI), indirect tensile strength(ITS) and resilient modulus. The results showed that warm mix additives reduced the CEI, ITS and resilient modulus; while RAP increased the corresponding values. Statistical analysis showed that mixtures incorporating Evotherm~and RAP had significant effects on CEI, while the effects of RH-WMA on the corresponding value were found to be statistically insignificant. General Linear Model showed that Evotherm~, RAP and RH-WMA exhibited no significant effects on the ITS and resilient modulus. The one-way analysis of variance showed that Evotherm~ influenced mixture behavior significantly, while RAP and RH-WMA effects were found to be statistically insignificant. | 15 | Heavy metals accumulation in suburban roadside plants of a tropical area(Jengka,Malaysia)显示文摘Introduction:This study aims to examine the uptake and translocation of Cd,Cu,Fe,and Pb in different parts of three roadside plant species grown in the semi-urban of Jengka,Pahang,Malaysia.Methods:Heavy metal concentrations were determined from various parts of Athyrium esculentum(AE),Chromolaena odorata(CO),and Lantana camara(LC).The bioconcentration factor(BCF)and translocation ratio of heavy metals from soils to plants were estimated.Results:Fe showed the highest metal concentration determined(<850 mg kg^(−1)),while Cd showed the lowest metal concentration observed(<0.12 mg kg^(−1))in all plants.Heavy metal concentration in the roadside plants was higher than metal determined in the same species from an uncontaminated site.Principal component analysis(PCA)suggests anthropogenic and natural sources of heavy metal.Plant roots slightly enriched by Cd and Pb(BCF<1),while the leaves absorbed and accumulated Cu and Fe(BCF>1).The translocation ratio of four metals suggests that absorption of the three plants had the rank:root>stem>leaves.Conclusion:The metals in the root zone transported weakly to the stem but more strongly mobilized to leaves when available in the stems.A comprehensive study of heavy metal concentration in a variety of roadside plants in the tropical area should be done in the future ensuring the precise source and translocation mechanisms. | Fazrul Razman Sulaiman Huda Asilah Hamzah | 2018 | Ecological Processes2018,7,1: | 2 |

| 17 | Effect of reduction roasting by using bio-char derived from empty fruit bunch on the magnetic properties of Malaysian iron ore显示文摘Beneficiation of Malaysian iron ore is becoming necessary as iron resources are depleting. However, the upgrading process is challenging because of the weak magnetic properties of Malaysian iron ore. In this study, bio-char derived from oil palm empty fruit bunch(EFB) was utilized as an energy source for reduction roasting. Mixtures of Malaysian iron ore and the bio-char were pressed into briquettes and subjected to reduction roasting processes at 873–1173 K. The extent of reduction was estimated on the basis of mass loss, and the magnetization of samples was measured using a vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM). When reduced at 873 K, the original goethite-rich ore was converted into hematite. An increase in temperature to 1073 K caused a significant conversion of hematite into magnetite and enhanced the magnetic susceptibility and saturation magnetization of samples. The magnetic properties diminished at 1173 K as the iron ore was partially reduced to wustite.
