1Long-term monitoring and source apportionment of PM_(2.5)/PM_(10) in Beijing,China显示文摘During 2001-2006,PM2.5 (particle matter with aerodynamic diameter less than 2.5 microns) and PM10 (particle matter with aerodynamic diameter less than 10 microns) were collected at the Beijng Normal University (BNU) site,China,and in 2006,at a background site in Duolun (DL).The long-term monitoring data of elements,ions,and black carbon showed that the major constituents of PM2.5 were black carbon (BC) crustal elements,nitrates,ammonium salts,and sulfates.These five major components accounted for 20%-80% of the total PM2.5.During this period,levels of Pb and S in PM remained rather high,as compared with the levels in other large cities in the world.Source apportionment results suggest that there were 6 common sources for PM2.5 and PM10,i.e.,soil dust,vehicular emission,coal combustion,secondary aerosol,industrial emission,and biomass burning.Coal combustion was the largest contributor of PM2.5 with a percentage of 16.6%,whereas soil dust played the most important role in PM10 with a percentage of 27%.In contrast,only three common types of sources could be resolved at the background DL site,namely,soil dust,biomass combustion,and secondary aerosol from combustion sources.Hailin WANG Zhengping HAO 2008Journal of Environmental Sciences2008,20,11:65

32018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). 4Transplantation of collagen scaffold with autologous bone marrow mononuclear cells promotes functional endometrium reconstruction via downregulating ΔNp63 expression in Asherman's syndrome显示文摘Asherman's syndrome(AS) is a common disease that presents endometrial regeneration disorder. However, little is known about its molecular features of this aregenerative endometrium in AS and how to reconstruct the functioning endometrium for the patients with AS. Here, we report that ΔNp63 is significantly upregulated in residual epithelial cells of the impaired endometrium in AS; the upregulated-ΔNp63 induces endometrial quiescence and alteration of stemness. Importantly, we demonstrate that engrafting high density of autologous bone marrow mononuclear cells(BMNCs) loaded in collagen scaffold onto the uterine lining of patients with AS downregulates ΔNp63 expression, reverses ΔNp63-induced pathological changes, normalizes the stemness alterations and restores endometrial regeneration. Finally, five patients achieved successful pregnancies and live births. Therefore, we conclude that ΔNp63 is a crucial therapeutic target for AS. 5Developing the Science Product Algorithm Testbed for Chinese Next-Generation Geostationary Meteorological Satellites:Fengyun-4 Series显示文摘Fengyun-4A(FY-4A), the first of the Chinese next-generation geostationary meteorological satellites, launched in2016, offers several advances over the FY-2: more spectral bands, faster imaging, and infrared hyperspectral measurements. To support the major objective of developing the prototypes of FY-4 science algorithms, two science product algorithm testbeds for imagers and sounders have been developed by the scientists in the FY-4 Algorithm Working Group(AWG). Both testbeds, written in FORTRAN and C programming languages for Linux or UNIX systems, have been tested successfully by using Intel/g compilers. Some important FY-4 science products, including cloud mask, cloud properties, and temperature profiles, have been retrieved successfully through using a proxy imager, Himawari-8/Advanced Himawari Imager(AHI), and sounder data, obtained from the Atmospheric Infra Red Sounder, thus demonstrating their robustness. 9Roles of Chemokine Receptor 4 (CXCR4) and Chemokine Ligand 12 (CXCL12) in Metastasis of Hepatocellular Carcinoma Cells显示文摘Chemokines are involved in human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) carcinogenesis. However, the exact mechanism of chemokines in HCC carcinogenesis remains unknown. Here we investigated the roles of chemokine receptor 4 (CXCR4) and chemokine ligand 12 (CXCL12) in the metastasis of HCC. We found that the expression levels of CXCR4 mRNA in HCC tissues, MHCC97 cells, and HUVEC cells were 2.52 ± 1.13, 2.34 ± 1.16 and 1.63 ± 1.26, respectively and that the CXCR4 protein levels were 1.38 ± 0.13, 1.96 ± 0.32 and 1.86 ± 0.21, respectively. In contrast, CXCR4 was not detected in normal hepatic tissues. In 78 HCC patients, we also found that the concentration of CXCL12 in cancerous ascitic fluid was 783-8,364 pg/ml and that CXCL12 mRNA level in HCC metastasis portal lymph nodes was 1.21 ± 0.87 but undetectable in normal hepatic tissues. Finally we discovered that recombinant human CXCL12 could induce MHCC97 cells and HUVEC cells to migrate with chemotactic indexes (CI) of 3.9 ± 1.1 and 4.1 ± 1.6, respectively. Cancerous ascitic fluid could also induce the migration of MHCC97 cells with a CI of 1.9 ± 0.8. 10Efficient signcryption between TPKC and IDPKC and its multi-receiver construction显示文摘The primitive signcryption provides authenticity and privacy simultaneously. In this paper, we present efficient signcryption schemes between the traditional public key cryptosystem (TPKC) and the identity based cryptosystem (IDPKC). In contrast, all the existing signcryption schemes available in the literature, to our knowledge, are limited to within one type of cryptosystem. We also discuss them in the multi-receiver setting. 11Chinmedomics: A Powerful Approach Integrating Metabolomics with Serum Pharmacochemistry to Evaluate the Efficacy of Traditional Chinese Medicine显示文摘Evaluation of the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicines (TCMs) is an important prerequisite for discovering effective substances, lead compounds, and quality markers (Q markers). At present, there is an urgent need to develop a biological language that can act as abridge for the scientific elaboration of the efficacy of TCMs, and to further highlight the significant value of TCM. Chinese medicinal syndromes and formulae are two essential parts of TCM that directly relate to its efficacy. Syndromes and formulae have been taken as the research objects. The serum pharmacochemistry of the TCM approach with metabolomics were integrated to establish an innovative chinmedomics strategy, which is able to explore syndrome biomarkers and evaluate TCM efficacy in order to discover effective substances from TCMs. A great deal of concrete work in chinmedomics has already performed to bridge the gap between Chinese and Western medicine, and to provide a powerful approach to enhance the scientific value of TCM theory and clinical practice. This article summarizes the application of chinmedomics in identifying the candidate biomarkers of a syndrome and revealing the efficacy of the related formula. 12Clinical research linking Traditional Chinese Medicine constitution types with diseases:a literature review of 1639 observational studies显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To analyze clinical studies on correlations between Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)body constitution types and diseases published in the past 10 years,and to provide an evidence base to support the use of such correlations for health maintenance and disease prevention.METHODS:We searched five databases for the period April 2009 to December 2019:China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database,Wanfang Database,China Science and Technology Journal Database,PubMed and Embase.Three types of observational studies on correlation between constitution types and diseases were included:cross-sectional,case-control and cohort studies.Descriptive statistical methods were employed for data analysis.RESULTS:A total of 1639 clinical studies were identified:1452(88.59%)cross-sectional studies,115(7.02%)case-control studies and 72(4.39%)cohort studies covering 30 regions of China and five other countries(Malaysia,South Korea,Singapore,Thailand and France).The collection of studies comprised 19 disease categories and 333 different diseases.The 10 most commonly studied diseases were hypertension,diabetes,stroke,coronary atherosclerotic heart disease(CAHD),sleep disorders,neoplasm of the breast,dysmenorrhea,fatty liver disease,chronic viral hepatitis B and dyslipidemia.We found high distributions for each biased constitution type in different patient populations as follows:Qi-deficiency constitution in stroke,diabetes,chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,acquired immunodeficiency syndrome and hypertension;Yang-deficiency constitution in female infertility,osteoporosis,irritable bowel syndrome,gonarthrosis and dysmenorrhea;Yin-deficiency constitution in hypertension,diabetes,constipation,female climacteric states and osteoporosis;phlegm-dampness constitution in hypertension,stroke,fatty liver disease,diabetes and metabolic syndrome;damp-heat constitution in acne,chronic gastritis,chronic viral hepatitis B,human papillomavirus infection and hyperuricemia;blood-stasis constitution in CAHD,endometriosis and stroke;Qi-stagnation constitution in hyperplasia and neoplasms of the breast,insomnia,depression and thyroid nodules;and inherited-special constitution in asthma and allergic rhinitis.CONCLUSION:Eight biased TCM constitutions were closely related to specific diseases,and could be used to guide individualized prevention and treatment.More rigorously designed studies are recommended to further verify the constitution-disease relationship.Liang Xue Wang Qi Jiang Zeqiang Li Zhuqing Zhang Mengxing Yang Peiying Wang Xin Wang Yanqiu Qin Yuehua Li Tianxing Zhang Tianyi Wang Yi Sun Jianxiang Li Yusi Luo Hui Li Lingru 2020Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2020,40,4:29

14Gender and metabolic differences of gallstone diseases显示文摘AIM:To investigate the risk factors for gallstone disease in the general population of Chengdu,China. METHODS:This study was conducted at the West China Hospital.Subjects who received a physical examination at this hospital between January and December 2007 were included.Body mass index,blood pressure,fasting plasma glucose,serum lipid and lipoproteins concentrations were analyzed.Gallstone disease was diagnosed by ultrasound or on the basis of a history of cholecystectomy because of gallstone disease.Unconditional logistic regression analysis was used to investigate the risk factors for gallstone disease,and the Chi-square test was used to analyze differences in the incidence of metabolic disorders between subjects with and without gallstone disease. RESULTS:A total of 3573 people were included, 10.7%(384/3573)of whom had gallstone diseases. 15Surgicopathological classification of hepatic space-occupying lesions:A single-center experience with literature review显示文摘Accompanying rapid developments in hepatic surgery,the number of surgeries and identifications of histological types of primary hepatic space-occupying lesions (PHSOLs) have increased dramatically.This has led to many changes in the surgicopathological spectrum of PHSOLs,and has contributed to a theoretical basis for modern hepatic surgery and oncological pathology.Between 1982 and 2009 at the Eastern Hepatobiliary Surgery Hospital (EHBH) in Shanghai,31 901 patients underwent surgery and were diagnosed as having a PHSOL.In this paper,we present an analysis of the PHSOL cases at the EHBH for this time period,along with results from a systematic literature review.We describe a surgicopathological spectrum comprising more than 100 types of PHSOLs that can be stratified into three types:tumor-like,benign,and malignant.We also stratified the PHSOLs into six subtypes derived from hepatocytes;cholangiocytes;vascular,lymphoid and hemopoietic tissues;muscular,fibrous and adipose tissues;neural and neuroendocrine tissues;and miscellaneous tissues.The present study provides a new classification system that can be used as a current reference for clinicians and pathologists to make correct diagnoses and differential diagnoses among various PHSOLs.Wen-Ming Cong Hui Dong Lu Tan Xu-Xu Sun Meng-Chao Wu 2011World Journal of Gastroenterology2011,17,19:25

18Source apportionment for urban PM_(10) and PM_(2.5) in the Beijing area显示文摘Airborne particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10) samples were collected at the Beijing Normal University sampling site in the urban area of Beijing, China in dry and wet seasons during 2001―2004. Concen-trations of 23 elements and 14 ions in particulate samples were determined by ICP-AES and IC, re-spectively. Source apportionment results derived from both Positive Matrix Factorization (PMF) and Chemical Mass Balance (CMB) models indicate that the major contributors of PM2.5 and PM10 in Beijing are: soil dust, fossil fuel combustion, vehicle exhausts, secondary particulate, biomass burning and some industrial sources.
