1Heavy Metal Transfer from Soil to Vegetable in Southern Jiangsu Province, China显示文摘Vegetable fields in peri-urban areas receive large amounts of extraneous heavy metals because of rapid urbanization and industrialization in China. The concentrations of Cu, Zn, and Pb in 30 soil samples and 32 vegetable samples, collected from 30 different sites in southern Jiangsu Province of China, were measured and their transfer from soil to vegetable was determined. The results showed that the soil samples had wide ranges of pH (4.25–7.85) and electrical conductivity (EC) (0.24–3.42 dS m-1). Among the soil samples, there were four soil samples containing higher Cu and two soil samples containing higher Zn concentrations than those specified in the Chinese Soil Environmental Quality Standard II. However, no vegetable sample was found to contain a high level of Cu or Zn. In contrast, one vegetable sample contained 0.243 mg Pb kg-1 FW, which was above the Chinese Food Hygiene Standard, whereas the corresponding soil Pb concentration was lower than the Chinese Soil Environmental Quality Standard II. The transfer coefficients of Cu of all vegetable samples exceeded the suggested coefficient range, implying that extraneous Cu had high mobility and bioavailability to vegetables. There was no significant correlation between extractable soil heavy metal concentrations with four kinds of extractants and soil pH, EC, heavy metal concentrations in vegetables and soils, except that soil pH correlated well with the extractable soil Cu, Zn, and Pb concentrations with 1.0 mol L-1 NH4NO3. 2Expression,deleton and mnutation of ρ16 gene in human gastric cancer显示文摘AIM To investigate the relationship between the expression of p16 gene and the gastric carcinogenesis,depth of invasion and lymph node metastases, and to evaluate the deletion and mutation of exon 2 in p16 gene in gastric carcinoma.METHODS The expression of P16 protein was examined by streptavidin-peroxidase conjugated method (S-P); the deletion and mutation of p16 gene were respectively examined by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and polymerase chain reaction single-strand conformation polymorphism analysis (PCR-SSCP) in gastric carcinoma.RESULTS Expression of P16 protein was detected in 96.25% (77/80) of the normal gastric mucosa, in 92.00% (45/50) of the dysplastic gastric mucosa and in 47.54% (58/122) of the gastric carcinoma. The positive rate of P16 protein expression in gastric carcinoma was significantly lower than that in normal gastric mucosa and dysplastic gastric mucosa (P<0.05). The positive rate of P16 protein expression in mucoid carcinoma 10.00% (1/ 10) was significantly lower than that in poorly differentiated carcinoma 51.22% ( 21/ 41 ),undifferentiated carcinoma 57.69% (15/26) and signet ring cell carcinoma 62.50% (10/ 16) (P<0.05). The positive rate of p16 protein in 30 cases paired primary and lymph node metastatic gastric carcinoma: There was 46.67% (14/30) in primary gastric carcinoma, 16.67% (5/30) in lymph node metastatic gastric carcinoma. The positive rate of lymph node metastatic carcinoma was significantly lower than that of primary carcinoma (P<0.05). There was of p16 gene mutation in exon 2, but 5 cases displayed deletion of p16 gene in exon 2 in the 25 primary gastric carcinomas.CONCLUSIONS The expression loss of P16 protein related to the gastric carcinogenesis, gastric carcinoma histopathological subtypes and lymph metastasis. The mutation of p16 gene in exon 2 may not be involved in gastric carcinogenesis. 4Dual gRNAs guided CRISPR/Cas9 system inhibits hepatitis B virus replication显示文摘AIM: To screen and investigate the effective g RNAs against hepatitis B virus(HBV) of genotypes A-D.METHODS: A total of 15 g RNAs against HBV of genotypes A-D were designed. Eleven combinations of two above g RNAs(dual-g RNAs) covering the regulatory region of HBV were chosen. The efficiency of each g RNA and 11 dual-g RNAs on the suppression of HBV(genotypes A-D) replication was examined by the measurement of HBV surface antigen(HBs Ag) or e antigen(HBe Ag) in the culture supernatant. The destruction of HBV-expressing vector was examined in Hu H7 cells co-transfected with dual-g RNAs and HBVexpressing vector using polymerase chain reaction(PCR) and sequencing method, and the destruction of ccc DNAwas examined in Hep AD38 cells using KCl precipitation, plasmid-safe ATP-dependent DNase(PSAD) digestion, rolling circle amplification and quantitative PCR combined method. The cytotoxicity of these g RNAs was assessed by a mitochondrial tetrazolium assay.RESULTS: All of g RNAs could significantly reduce HBs Ag or HBe Ag production in the culture supernatant, which was dependent on the region in which g RNA against. All of dual g RNAs could efficiently suppress HBs Ag and/or HBe Ag production for HBV of genotypes A-D, and the efficacy of dual g RNAs in suppressing HBs Ag and/or HBe Ag production was significantly increased when compared to the single g RNA used alone. Furthermore, by PCR direct sequencing we confirmed that these dual g RNAs could specifically destroy HBV expressing template by removing the fragment between the cleavage sites of the two used g RNAs. Most importantly, g RNA-5 and g RNA-12 combination not only could efficiently suppressing HBs Ag and/or HBe Ag production, but also destroy the ccc DNA reservoirs in Hep AD38 cells.CONCLUSION: These results suggested that CRISPR/Cas9 system could efficiently destroy HBV expressing templates(genotypes A-D) without apparent cytotoxicity. 6Characterization of drug responses of mini patient-derived xenografts in mice for predicting cancer patient clinical therapeutic response显示文摘Background:Patient-derived organoids and xenografts(PDXs)have emerged as powerful models in functional diag-nostics with high predictive power for anticancer drug response.However,limitations such as engraftment failure and time-consuming for establishing and expanding PDX models followed by testing drug efficacy,and inability to subject to systemic drug administration for ex vivo organoid culture hinder realistic and fast decision-making in selecting the right therapeutics in the clinic.The present study aimed to develop an advanced PDX model,namely MiniPDX,for rapidly testing drug efficacy to strengthen its value in personalized cancer treatment.Methods:We developed a rapid in vivo drug sensitivity assay,OncoVee®MiniPDX,for screening clinically relevant regimens for cancer.In this model,patient-derived tumor cells were arrayed within hollow fiber capsules,implanted subcutaneously into mice and cultured for 7 days.The cellular activity morphology and pharmacokinetics were systematically evaluated.MiniPDX performance(sensitivity,specificity,positive and negative predictive values)was examined using PDX as the reference.Drug responses were examined by tumor cell growth inhibition rate and tumor growth inhibition rate in PDX models and MiniPDX assays respectively.The results from MiniPDX were also used to evaluate its predictive power for clinical outcomes.Results:Morphological and histopathological features of tumor cells within the MiniPDX capsules matched those both in PDX models and in original tumors.Drug responses in the PDX tumor graft assays correlated well with those in the corresponding MiniPDX assays using 26 PDX models generated from patients,including 14 gastric cancer,10 lung cancer and 2 pancreatic cancer.The positive predictive value of MiniPDX was 92%,and the negative predictive value was 81%with a sensitivity of 80%and a specificity of 93%.Through expanding to clinical tumor samples,Min-iPDX assay showed potential of wide clinical application.Conclusions:Fast in vivo MiniPDX assay based on capsule implantation was developed-to assess drug responses of both PDX tumor grafts and clinical cancer specimens.The high correlation between drug responses of paired MiniPDX and PDX tumor graft assay,as well as translational data suggest that MiniPDX assay is an advanced tool for personalized cancer treatment.Feifei Zhang Wenjie Wang Yuan Long Hui Liu Jijun Cheng Lin Guo Rongyu Li Chao Meng Shan Yu Qingchuan Zhao Shun Lu Lili Wang Haitao Wang Danyi Wen 2018Cancer Communications2018,38,1:20
7Melatonin alleviates intervertebral disc degeneration by disrupting the IL-1β/NF-κB-NLRP3 inflammasome positive feedback loop显示文摘The inflammatory response is induced by the overexpression of inflammatory cytokines, mainly interleukin(IL)-1β, and is one of the main causes of intervertebral disc degeneration(IVDD). NLR pyrin domain containing 3(NLRP3) inflammasome activation is an important source of IL-1β. As an anti-inflammatory neuroendocrine hormone, melatonin plays various roles in different pathophysiological conditions. However, its roles in IVDD are still not well understood and require more examination. First, we demonstrated that melatonin delayed the progression of IVDD and relieved IVDD-related low back pain in a rat needle puncture IVDD model;moreover, NLRP3 inflammasome activation(NLRP3, p20, and IL-1β levels) was significantly upregulated in severely degenerated human discs and a rat IVDD model. Subsequently, an IL-1β/NF-κB-NLRP3 inflammasome activation positive feedback loop was found in nucleus pulposus(NP) cells that were treated with IL-1β. In these cells, expression of NLRP3 and p20 was significantly increased, NF-κB signaling was involved in this regulation, and mitochondrial reactive oxygen species(mt ROS)production increased. Furthermore, we found that melatonin disrupted the IL-1β/NF-κB-NLRP3 inflammasome activation positive feedback loop in vitro and in vivo. Melatonin treatment decreased NLRP3, p20, and IL-1β levels by inhibiting NF-κB signaling and downregulating mt ROS production. Finally, we showed that melatonin mediated the disruption of the positive feedback loop of IL-1β in vivo. In this study, we showed for the first time that IL-1β promotes its own expression by upregulating NLRP3 inflammasome activation. 8Track-before-detect for Infrared Maneuvering Dim Multi-target via MM-PHD显示文摘In this paper, we present a novel and efficient track-before-detect (TBD) algorithm based on multiple-model probability hypothesis density (MM-PHD) for tracking infrared maneuvering dim multi-target. Firstly, the standard sequential Monte Carlo probability hypothesis density (SMC-PHD) TBD-based algorithm is introduced and sequentially improved by the adaptive process noise and the importance re-sampling on particle likelihood, which result in the improvement in the algorithm robustness and convergence speed. Secondly, backward recursion of SMC-PHD is derived in order to ameliorate the tracking performance especially at the time of the multi-target arising. Finally, SMC-PHD is extended with multiple-model to track maneuvering dim multi-target. 9Effectiveness of Different Waist Circumference Cut-off Values in Predicting Metabolic Syndrome Prevalence and Risk Factors in Adults in China显示文摘Objective To study the effectiveness of waist circumference cut-off values in predicting the prevalence of metabolic syndrome(MetS) and risk factors in adults in China. Methods A cross-sectional survey was condcuted in 14 provinces(autonomous region, municipality) in China. A total of 47 325 adults aged ≥20 years were selected by multistage stratified sampling, and questionnaire survey and physical and clinical examination were conducted among them. MetS was defined according to the International Diabetes Federation(IDF) criteria and modified IDF criteria.Results The age-standardized prevalence of MetS was 24.2%(22.1% in men and 25.8% in women) and 19.5%(22.1% in men and 18.0% in women) according to the IDF criteria and modified IDF criteria respectively. The age-standardized prevalence of pre-MetS was 8.1%(8.6% in men and 7.8% in women) according to the modified IDF criteria. The prevalence of MetS was higher in urban residents than rural residents and in northern China residents than in southern China residents. The prevalence of central obesity was about 30% in both men and women according to the ethnicity-specific cut-off values of waist circumference for central obesity(90 cm for men and 85 cm for women). Multivariate regression analysis revealed no significant difference in risk factors between the two MetS definitions. 10SHRIMP U-Pb zircon age of tuff at the bottom of the Lower Cambrian Niutitang Formation,Zunyi,South China显示文摘A SHRIMP U-Pb zircon geochronology study of the tuff at the bottom of the Lower Cambrian Niutitang Formation at Songlin,Zunyi,South China yielded a mean 206Pb/238U age of 518±5 Ma.It is significantly younger than the Re-Os ages of 537―542 Ma for the overlying polymetallic Ni-Mo-PGE-rich layer in the basal Niutitang Formation at Songlin,suggesting that the Re-Os ages might represent that of the original magma chamber for the Ni-Mo-PGE-rich layer rather than the formation age of the strata.The intra-basinal stratigraphic correlation also implies that the absolute age of the Chengjiang biota should be younger than 518±5 Ma.Our new result,together with the SHRIMP U-Pb zircon age for the K-bentonite in the Zhongyicun member of the Zhujiaqing Formation at the Meishucun section,Yunnan Province,provides a temporal constraint for the Lower Cambrian of the Yangtze Platform in South China.ZHOU MingZhong LUO TaiYi LI ZhengXiang ZHAO Hui LONG HanSheng YANG Yong 2008Chinese Science Bulletin2008,53,4:17

12Seasonal and inter-annual variations in carbon fluxes and evapotranspiration over cotton field under drip irrigation with plastic mulch in an arid region of Northwest China显示文摘Xinjiang is the largest semi-arid and arid region in China, and drip irrigation under plastic mulch is widely used in this water-limited area. Quantifying carbon and water fluxes as well as investigating their environmental drivers over cotton fields is critical for understanding regional carbon and water budgets in Xinjiang, the largest cotton production basin of China. In this study, an eddy covariance(EC) technique was used to measure the carbon and water fluxes of cotton field under drip irrigation with plastic mulch in the growing seasons of 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2013 at Wulanwusu Agrometeorological Experiment Station, a representative oasis cropland in northern Xinjiang. The diurnal patterns of gross primary production(GPP), net ecosystem exchange(NEE) and evapotranspiration(ET) showed obviously sinusoidal variations from June to September, while the diurnal ecosystem respiration(Res) was stable between daytime and nighttime. The daytime hourly GPP and ET displayed asymptotic relationships with net solar radiation(Rnet), while showed concave patterns with raising vapor pressure deficit(VPD) and air temperature(Ta). The increases in hourly GPP and ET towards the maximum occurred over half ranges of VPD and Ta. The seasonal variations of GPP, NEE and ET were close to the cotton phenology, which almost reached the peak value in July. The cumulative GPP averaged 816.2±55.0 g C/m2 in the growing season(from April to October), and more than half of GPP was partitioned into NEE(mean value of –478.6±41.4 g C/m2). The mean seasonal ET was 501.3±13.9 mm, and the mean water use efficiency(WUE) was 1.0±0.1(mg C/g H2O)/d. 13Grey GM(1,1) Model with Function-Transfer Method for Wear Trend Prediction and its Application显示文摘Trend forecasting is an important aspect in fault diagnosis and work state supervision. The principle, where Grey theory is applied in fault forecasting, is that the forecast system is considered as a Grey system; the existing known information is used to infer the unknown information’s character, state and development trend in a fault pattern, and to make possible forecasting and decisions for future development. It involves the whitenization of a Grey process. But the traditional equal time interval Grey GM (1,1) model requires equal interval data and needs to bring about accumulating addition generation and reversion calculations. Its calculation is very complex. However, the non equal interval Grey GM (1,1) model decreases the condition of the primitive data when establishing a model, but its requirement is still higher and the data were pre processed. The abrasion primitive data of plant could not always satisfy these modeling requirements. Therefore, it establishes a division method suited for general data modeling and estimating parameters of GM (1,1), the standard error coefficient that was applied to judge accuracy height of the model was put forward; further, the function transform to forecast plant abrasion trend and assess GM (1,1) parameter was established. These two models need not pre process the primitive data. It is not only suited for equal interval data modeling, but also for non equal interval data modeling. Its calculation is simple and convenient to use. The oil spectrum analysis acted as an example. The two GM (1,1) models put forward in this paper and the new information model and its comprehensive usage were investigated. 14Cell-permeable Tat-NBD peptide attenuates rat pancreatitis and acinus cell inflammation response显示文摘AIM: To investigate the effects of Tat-NEMO-binding domain (NBD) peptide on taurocholate-induced pancreatitis and lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated AR42J acinus cells inflammatory response in rats. METHODS: Sodium taurocholate (5%) was used to induce the pancreatitis model. Forty-eight rats from the taurocholate group received an intravenous bolus of 13 mg/kg Tat-NBD (wild-type, WT) peptide, TatNBD (mutant-type, MT) peptide, NBD peptide or Tat peptide. The pancreatic histopathology was analyzed by hematoxylin staining. LPS was added to the culture medium to stimulate the AR42J cells. For pretreatment, cells were incubated with different peptides for 2 h before LPS stimulation. Expression of IL-1β and TNF-α mRNA was analyzed using a semi-quantitative reverse-transcript polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) method. IL-1β and TNF-α protein in culture medium were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NF-κB DNA-binding in pancreas was examined by electrophoretic mobility shift assays. P65 expression of AR42J was determined by Strept Actividin-Biotin Complex (SABC) method. RESULTS: Pretreatment with Tat-NBD (WT) peptide at a concentration of 13 mg/kg body wt showed beneficial effect in pancreaitis model. LPS (10 mg/L) resulted in an increase of IL-1β mRNA, IL-1β protein, TNF-α mRNA and TNF-α protein, whereas signifi cantly inhibitory effects were observed when cells were incubated with Tat-NBD (WT). Consisting with p65 expression decrease analyzed by SABC method, NF-κB DNA-binding activity significantly decreased in Tat-NBD (WT) pretreatment group, especially at the largest dose. No significant changes were found in the control peptide group. CONCLUSION: Our result supports that active NF-κB participates in the pathogenesis of STC-induced acute pancreatitis in rats. 15Guided chemotherapy based on patient-derived mini-xenograft models improves survival of gallbladder carcinoma patients显示文摘Background:Gallbladder carcinoma is highly aggressive and resistant to chemotherapy,with no consistent strategy to guide first line chemotherapy.However,patient-derived xenograft(PDX)model has been increasingly used as an effective model for in preclinical study of chemosensitivity.Methods:Mini-PDX model was established using freshly resected primary lesions from 12 patients with gallblad-der to examine the sensitivity with five of the most commonly used chemotherapeutic agents,namely gemcitabine,oxaliplatin,5-fluorouracil,nanoparticle albumin-bound(nab)-paclitaxel,and irinotecan.The results were used to guide the selection of chemotherapeutic agents for adjunctive treatment after the surgery.Kaplan-Meier method was used to compare overall survival(OS)and disease free survival(DFS)with 45 patients who received conventional chemo-therapy with gemcitabine and oxaliplatin.Results:Cell viability assays based on mini-PDX model revealed significant heterogeneities in drug responsiveness.Kaplan-Meier analysis showed that patients in the PDX-guided chemotherapy group had significantly longer median OS(18.6 months;95%CI 15.9-21.3 months)than patients in the conventional chemotherapy group(13.9 months;95%CI 11.7-16.2 months)(P=0.030;HR 3.18;95%CI 1.47-6.91).Patients in the PDX-guided chemotherapy group also had significantly longer median DFS(17.6 months;95%CI 14.5-20.6 months)than patients in the conventional chemotherapy group(12.0 months;95%CI 9.7-14.4 months)(P=0.014;HR 3.37;95%CI 1.67-6.79).Conclusion:The use of mini-PDX model to guide selection of chemotherapeutic regimens could improve the out-come in patients with gallbladder carcinoma.Ming Zhan Rui-meng Yang Hui Wang Min He Wei Chen Sun-wang Xu Lin-hua Yang Qiang Liu Man-mei Long Jian Wang 2018Cancer Communications2018,38,1:11
16Development of a daily soil moisture product for the period of2002–2011 in Chinese mainland显示文摘Soil moisture is an essential climate variable(ECV) concerned widely. Due to its high spatial variability, it is costly to measure soil moisture at tens of kilometers scale. In this study, a ten-year(2002–2011) daily soil moisture dataset at 0.25° spatial resolution for Chinese mainland was produced through assimilating the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer for Earth Observing System(AMSR-E) brightness temperature(TB) data into a land surface model(LSM). The obtained soil moisture data was evaluated against soil moisture-measuring networks deployed in two wet areas and one dry area of the Tibetan Plateau.The results show that for the wet areas the accuracy of the soil moisture product obtained from the assimilation is considerably higher than that of both AMSR-E official soil moisture products and land surface simulation results, and for the dry area their accuracy is comparable to each other. The spatial pattern of the soil moisture from the new product is consistent with that of soil porosity from an independent survey-based dataset, further confirming the credibility of the new product. According to this product, the transition regions in China show stronger seasonal variation of soil moisture than dry and wet regions, and drier regions have stronger inter-annual variability of soil moisture than wetter regions, particularly during transitional seasons(spring and autumn). 17Age exerts a continuous effect in the outcomes of Asian breast cancer patients treated with breast-conserving therapy显示文摘Background:Asians are diagnosed with breast cancer at a younger age than Caucasians are.We studied the effect of age on locoregional recurrence and the survival of Asian breast cancer patients treated with breast-conserving therapy.Methods:Medical records of 2492 patients treated with breast-conserving therapy between 1989 and 2012 were reviewed.The Kaplan-Meier method was used to estimate locoregional recurrence,breast cancer-free survival,and breast cancer-specific survival rates.These rates were then compared using log-rank tests.Outcomes and age were modeled by Cox proportional hazards.Fractional polynomials were then used to test for non-linear relationships between age and outcomes.Results:Patients≤40 years old were more likely to have locoregional recurrence than were older patients(Hazard ratio[HR]=2.32,P<0.001).Locoregional recurrence rates decreased year-on-year by 4%for patients with luminal-type breast cancers,compared with 8%for those with triple-negative cancers.Similarly,breast cancer-free survival rates increased year-on-year by 4%versus 8%for luminal-type and triple-negative cancers,respectively.Breast cancer-spe-cific survival rates increased with age by 5%year-on-year.Both breast cancer-free survival and breast cancer-specific survival rates in patients with luminal cancers exhibited a non-linear(“L-shaped”)relationship-where decreasing age at presentation was associated with escalating risks of relapse and death.The influence of age on overall survival was confounded by competing non-cancer deaths in older women,resulting in a“U-shaped”relationship.Conclusions:Young Asian breast cancer patients have a continuous year-on-year increase in rates of disease relapse and cancer deaths compared with older patients with no apparent threshold.Fuh Yong Wong Wei Ying Tham Wen Long Nei Cindy Lim Hui Miao 2018Cancer Communications2018,38,1:9
18Xa7, a new executor R gene that confers durable and broad-spectrum resistance to bacterial blight disease in rice显示文摘Bacterial blight(BB)is a globally devastating rice disease caused by Xanthomonas oryzae pv.oryzae(Xoo).The use of disease resistance(R)genes in rice breeding is an effective and economical strategy for the control of this disease.Nevertheless,a majority of R genes lack durable resistance for long-term use under global warming conditions.Here,we report the isolation of a novel executor R gene,Xa7,that confers extremely durable,broad-spectrum,and heat-tolerant resistance to Xoo.The expression of Xa7 was induced by incompatible Xoo strains that secreted the transcription activator-like effector(TALE)AvrXa7 or PthXo3,which recognized effector binding elements(EBEs)in the Xa7 promoter.Furthermore,Xa7 induction was faster and stronger under high temperatures.Overexpression of Xa7 or co-transformation of Xa7 with avrXa7 triggered a hypersensitive response in plants.Constitutive expression of Xa7 activated a defense response in the absence of Xoo but inhibited the growth of transgenic rice plants.In addition,analysis of over 3000 rice varieties showed that the Xa7 locuswas found primarily in the indica and aus subgroups.A variation consisting of an 11-bp insertion and a base substitution(G to T)was found in EBEAvrXa7 in the tested varieties,resulting in a loss of Xa7 BB resistance.Through a decade of effort,we have identified an important BB resistance gene and characterized its distinctive interaction with Xoo strains;these findings will greatly facilitate research on the molecular mechanism of Xa7-mediated resistance and promote the use of this valuable gene in breeding.Xifeng Chen Pengcheng Liu Le Mei Xiaoling He Long Chen Hui Liu Shurong Shen Zhandong Ji Xixi Zheng Yuchen Zhang Zhenyu Gao Dali Zeng Qian Qian Bojun Ma 2021Plant Communications2021,2,3:9
19Noninvasive Ultrasound Deep Brain Stimulation for the Treatment of Parkinson’s Disease Model Mouse显示文摘Modulating basal ganglia circuitry is of great signifcance in the improvement of motor function in Parkinson’s disease(PD).Here,for the frst time,we demonstrate that noninvasive ultrasound deep brain stimulation(UDBS)of the subthalamic nucleus(STN)or the globus pallidus(GP)improves motor behavior in a subacute mouse model of PD induced by 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine(MPTP).Immunohistochemical c-Fos protein expression confrms that there is a relatively high level of c-Fos expression in the STN-UDBS and GP-UDBS group compared with sham group(both p<0.05).Furthermore,STN-UDBS or GPUDBS signifcantly increases the latency to fall in the rotarod test on day 9(p<0.05)and decreases the time spent climbing down a vertical rod in the pole test on day 12(p<0.05).Moreover,our results reveal that STN-UDBS or GP-UDBS protects the dopamine(DA)neurons from MPTP neurotoxicity by downregulating Bax(p<0.001),upregulating Bcl-2(p<0.01),blocking cytochrome c(Cyt C)release from mitochondria(p<0.05),and reducing cleaved-caspase 3 activity(p<0.01)in the ipsilateral substantia nigra(SN).Additionally,the safety of ultrasound stimulation is characterized by hematoxylin and eosin(HE)and Nissl staining;no hemorrhage or tissue damage is detected.Tese data demonstrate that UDBS enables modulation of STN or GP neural activity and leads to neuroprotection in PD mice,potentially serving as a noninvasive strategy for the clinical treatment of PD.Hui Zhou Lili Niu Long Meng Zhengrong Lin Junjie Zou Xiangxiang Xia Xiaowei Huang Wei Zhou Tianyuan Bian Hairong Zheng 2019Research2019,,1:9
20Study of Static Adsorption Capacity of ACF for Xenon at 201 K显示文摘The static adsorption performances of a series of active carbon fiber(ACF)for xenon at 201 K were measured with a model ASAP2010M specific surface area and aperture distribution instrument by changing the working gas of instrument from N 2 to Xenon.
