1Precise orbit determination of Beidou Satellites with precise positioning显示文摘Chinese Beidou satellite navigation system constellation currently consists of eight Beidou satellites and can provide preliminary service of navigation and positioning in the Asia-Pacific Region.Based on the self-developed software Position And Navigation Data Analysis(PANDA) and Beidou Experimental Tracking Stations (BETS),which are built by Wuhan University,the study of Beidou precise orbit determination,static precise point positioning (PPP),and high precision relative positioning,and differential positioning are carried out comprehensively.Results show that the radial precision of the Beidou satellite orbit determination is better than 10 centimeters.The RMS of static PPP can reach several centimeters to even millimeters for baseline relative positioning.The precision of kinematic pseudo-range differential positioning and RTK mode positioning are 2-4 m and 5-10 cm respectively,which are close to the level of GPS precise positioning.Research in this paper verifies that,with support of ground reference station network,Beidou satellite navigation system can provide precise positioning from several decimeters to meters in the wide area and several centimeters in the regional area.These promising results would be helpful for the implementation and applications of Beidou satellite navigation system.SHI Chuang ZHAO QiLe LI Min TANG WeiMing HU ZhiGang LOU YiDong ZHANG HongPing NIU XiaoJi LIU JingNan 2012Science China Earth Sciences2012,55,7:61
2Wharton's jelly mesenchymal stem cells differentiate into retinal progenitor cells显示文摘Human Wharton's jelly mesenchymal stem cells were isolated from fetal umbilical cord. Cells were cultured in serum-free neural stem cell-conditioned medium or neural stem cell-conditioned medium supplemented with Dkk-1, a Wnt/β catenin pathway antagonist, and LeftyA, a Nodal signaling pathway antagonist to induce differentiation into retinal progenitor cells. Inverted microscopy showed that after induction, the spindle-shaped or fibroblast-like Wharton's jelly mesenchymal stem cells changed into bulbous cells with numerous processes. Immunofluorescent cytochemical staining and reverse-transcription PCR showed positive expression of retinal progenitor cell markers, Pax6 and Rx, as well as weakly down-regulated nestin expression. 3Mechanism of the interaction between Au nano-particles and polymerase in nanoparticle PCR显示文摘Nanoparticle PCR is a novel method to optimize DNA amplification. It performs well in improving specificity, enhancing sensitivity and speed. Several mechanisms were proposed in previous studies: one was based on the interaction between gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) and DNA while the other was attributed to the heat transfer property of AuNPs. In this paper, we propose that the interaction between AuNPs and DNA polymerase can significantly influence PCR. First, the addition of DNA polymerase can eliminate the inhibitory effects of excess AuNPs. Second, the addition of AuNPs will increase yield of the desired PCR product and make the optimum concentration of DNA polymerase move to higher value. Third, while excess polymerase might inhibit amplification efficiency, AuNPs can reverse this process and the yield of PCR amplification. 4Heterogeneous Fracture Simulation of Three-point Bending Plain-concrete Beam with Double Notches显示文摘Plain concrete is regarded as a two-phase material comprising randomly distributed aggregates and mortar matrix. A series of three-point bending concrete beams with symmetric or asymmetric double notches are modeled using the modified random aggregate generation and packing algorithm. The cohesive zone model is used as the fracture criterion and the cohesive elements are inserted into both the mortar matrix and the aggregate-mortar interfaces as potential micro-cracking zones. The dead and alive crack phenomena are studied experimentally and numerically; and the influences of notch location, aggregate distribution and gradation on fracture are numerically evaluated. 5An improved piezoelectric harvester available in scavenging-energy from the operating environment with either weaker or stronger vibration levels显示文摘An improved harvester available in scavenging energy from the operating environment with either weaker or stronger vibration levels is studied. To ensure the optimal harvester performance, a Cuk dc-dc converter is employed into the modulating circuit. This paper reports how this harvester scav- enges maximal energy from varying-level vibrations and store energy into an electrochemical battery. Dependence of the duty cycle upon the external vibration level is calculated, and it is found that: 1) for weaker vibrations, the charging current into the battery is smaller than the allowable current, and thus all the optimal output power of the harvesting structure can be absorbed by the battery. In this case, the duty cycle should be fixed at 1.86%; 2) for stronger external forcing, the allowable charging current of the battery is smaller than the optimal harvested current. This indicates that just a portion of the sca- venged energy can be accepted by the battery. Thus, the duty cycle should be decreased gradually with the increase of the vibration level. Finally the energy transmission process and the roles of each elec- tronic element are analyzed. 7Systematic Characterization of Long Non-Coding RNAs and Their Responses to Drought Stress in Dongxiang Wild Rice显示文摘Long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs) play important roles in response to various biotic and abiotic stresses. So far, systematic identification and characterization of lncRNAs have been reported in a few model plant species and major crops, but their roles in abiotic stress response have not yet been reported in common wild rice(Oryza rufipogon). Dongxiang wild rice(DXWR) possesses a high degree of drought resistance and has been well recognized as a precious genetic resource for drought resistant rice breeding. We presented the reference catalog of 1 655 novel lncRNA transcripts in DXWR using strand-specific RNA sequencing and bioinformatics approaches. Meanwhile, a total of 1092 lncRNAs were determined as differentially expressed lncRNAs under drought stress. Quantitative real-time PCR results exhibited a high concordance with RNA sequencing data, which confirmed that the expression patterns of lncRNAs based on RNA sequencing were highly reliable. Furthermore, 8 711 transcripts were predicted as target genes of the differentially expressed lncRNAs. Functional annotation analysis based on Gene Ontology and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes databases showed that the target genes were significantly enriched in cellular and metabolic processes, cell part, binding and plant hormone signal transduction, as well as many other terms related to abiotic stress resistance. 9Identification and Characterization of Drought Stress-Responsive Novel microRNAs in Dongxiang Wild Rice显示文摘MicroRNAs(miRNAs) are non-coding small RNAs, which play important regulatory roles in response to biotic and abiotic stresses. Dongxiang wild rice(Oryza rufipogon, DXWR) can survive in extreme drought environment, but its molecular mechanism of drought resistance is still largely unknown. To further explore miRNA regulatory mechanisms involved in drought resistance, we identified 138 novel miRNAs in DXWR using small RNA sequencing and bioinformatics approaches, and found that the expression levels of 67 novel miRNAs were significantly affected by drought stress. In total, 200 candidate target genes were predicted and annotated for the drought stress-responsive novel miRNAs. Gene Ontology(GO) analysis and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG) pathways suggested that most of the target genes were related to metabolism. Stem-loop quantitative real-time PCR(qRT-PCR) results exhibited high concordance with sequencing data, which confirmed that miRNA expression patterns based on small RNA sequencing in the present study were reliable. Meanwhile, qRT-PCR validated the inverse expression patterns between several miRNAs and their target genes. 10Effect of Honghua (Flos Carthami) on nitric oxide production in RAW 264.7 cells and α-glucosidase activity显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To study the effects of extracts from Honghua(Flos Carthami) on lipopolysaccharide induced nitric oxide(NO) production in RAW 264.7cells and the influence of the extracts on yeastα-glucosidase activity. The total flavonoid content of the extracts was also determined.METHODS: Cytotoxicity of the extracts to RAW264.7 cells was evaluated by the ATPlite? method.Inhibitory effects of the extracts on NO production were evaluated by Griess assay. Curcumin was used as a positive control. Screening of extracts for potential α-glucosidase inhibitors was done by a fluorometric assay.The assay was based on the hydrolysis of 4-methylumbelliferyl-a-D-glucopyranoside to form the fluorescent product, 4-methylumbelliferone. Acarbose was used as a positive control. The total flavonoid content was tested using kaempferol as the standard.RESULTS: There were significant inhibitory effects on NO production when the extracts were 25-100μg/mL(P<0.05) and curcumin was 2-4 μg/mL(P<0.001). The extracts showed an inhibitory effect onα-glucosidase activity at the concentrations of15.6-125 μg/mL with a half maximal(50%) inhibitory concentration(IC50) of(32.8±5.7) μg/mL, compared with the IC 50 of acarbose at(1.8±0.4) μg/mL.There was a significant difference between the two IC50values(P<0.001). The total content of flavonoids per gram of dried herb was1.14 mg.CONCLUSION:Honghua(Flos Carthami)showed in hibitory effects on NO production in activated RAW264.7 macrophage cells and an inhibitory effect on yeast α-glucosidase. 11原发性肺滑膜肉瘤术后胸膜转移1例报告并文献复习(英文)显示文摘We describe a case of primary pulmonary synovial sarcoma arising in the lung of a 35-year-old woman.The tumor was a single mass and had a well-defined pleural-based with homogeneous density in the edge of the middle lobe,with no calcification and a fat component on plain CT scan.On the contrast-enhanced CT scan,the tumor showed moderately enhancement and circular enhancement with no enlargement of mediastinal,hilar lymph nodes.Skeleton single photon emission CT(ECT) was unremarkable.Gross and histological findings by postoperative pathology showed the tumor had pseudo-capsule and was well-circumscribed with foci of necrosis,hemorrhage and cystic change,under microscope tumor was typically mitotically active,spindle cells growing in intersecting fascicles or in solid sheets with epithelial differentiation.The immunohistochemical examination of CD99,Vim,PCK and EMA were positive.The tumor recurred with multiple pleural nodules and mass at 5 months after surgery,chest CT revealed the tumor was in the ipsilateral costophrenic angle for chest pain of the patient.After dynamic contrast-enhanced,the solid parts and the capsule of the lesion showed progressive enhancement and the liquefied area of the lesion without enhancement.This case indicates that a primary pulmonary synovial sarcoma is extremely rare and malignant,its prognosis is poor.There are some relatively specific imaging findings.Haiquan Yao Zhibin Hu Hongping Lin Heshui Shi 2011The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2011,10,9:2

14Differential response of multiple zebrafish hepatic F-box protein genes to 17α-ethinylestradiol treatment显示文摘Estrogens are accumulating in environment and their effects on a variety of reproductive processes and tumorigenesis were reported by previous study, but the mechanism of estrogen promoting neoplasia was still not clear. F-box protein (FBP) is the component of E3 ubiquitin ligase which takes part in a variety of key biological processes. In this study, using mature male zebrafish, which are more sensitive to estrogen treatment, we examined influence of 17α-ethinylestradiol (EE2) exposure on the expression of a series of hepatic FBP genes, which take part in a variety of biological processes, including tumorigenesis. The influence of EE2 on the expression of hepatic mRNA concentrations of FBP genes were quantified based on the expression of the optimal internal control gene in male zebrafish after 7-day exposure to EE2, from a low-dose concentration (1 ng/L) to environmentally relevant concentrations (10, 100 ng/L). Our results showed that EE2 exposure reduced the expression of fbxl14a, fbxl14b, fbxo25 and β-TRCP2b, but enchanced the expression of skp2. While the alterations in fbxl2, fbxw7, fbxo9, β-TRCP2a, fbxl18 and fbxo45 mRNA levels were not observed after EE2 exposure. Thus, our results showed that the expression of hepatic FBP genes exhibited differentially in male zebrafish exposed EE2. 20Folding beam-type piezoelectric phononic crystal with low-frequency and broad band gap显示文摘A folding beam-type piezoelectric phononic crystal model is proposed to isolate vibration. Two piezoelectric bimorphs are joined by two masses as a folding structure to comprise each unit cell of the piezoelectric phononic crystal. Each bimorph is connected independently by a resistive-inductive resonant shunting circuit. The folding structure extends the propagation path of elastic waves, while its structure size remains quite small. Propagation of coupled extension-flexural elastic waves is studied by the classical laminated beam theory and transfer matrix method. The theoretical model is further verified with the finite element method(FEM). The effects of geometrical and circuit parameters on the band gaps are analyzed. With only 4 unit cells, the folding beam-type piezoelectric phononic crystal generates two Bragg band gaps of 369 Hz to1 687 Hz and 2 127 Hz to 4 000 Hz. In addition, between these two Bragg band gaps, a locally resonant band gap is induced by resonant shunting circuits.
