| 1 | γ-MnO2 nanorods/graphene composite as efficient cathode for advanced rechargeable aqueous zinc-ion battery显示文摘Aqueous Zn//MnO2 batteries are emerging as promising large-scale energy storage devices owing to their cost-effectiveness,high safety,high output voltage,and energy density.However,the MnO2 cathode suffers from intrinsically poor rate performance and rapid capacity deterioration.Here,we remove the roadblock by compositing MnO2 nanorods with highly conductive graphene,which remarkably enhances the electrochemical properties of the MnO2 cathode.Benefiting from the boosted electric conductivity and ion diffusion rate as well as the structural protection of graphene,the Zn//MnO2-graphene battery presents an admirable capacity of 301 mAh g^-1 at 0.5 A g^-1,corresponding to a high energy density of 411.6 Wh kg^-1.Even at a high current density of 10 A g^-1,a decent capacity of 95.8 mAh g^-1 is still obtained,manifesting its excellent rate property.Furthermore,an impressive power density of 15 kW kg^-1 is achieved by the Zn//MnO2-graphene battery. | Chao Wang Yinxiang Zeng Xiang Xiao Shijia Wu Guobin Zhong Kaiqi Xu Zengfu Wei Wei Su Xihong Lu | 2020 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2020，29，4： | 13 |
| 2 | Optimal operation strategy for distributed battery aggregator providing energy and ancillary services显示文摘The high penetration of distributed renewable energy raises a higher concern for the safe and economic operation of the smart grid. Distributed batteries equipped in demand-side can not only contribute to the reliability and security of the grid, but also make profits by participating in the electricity market, especially when distributed batteries are combined and operated by an aggregator.Considering the well-operated mechanism of performance based regulation(PBR) in the U.S. electricity market, it becomes increasingly lucrative for batteries to participate not only in energy markets for energy arbitrage, but also in ancillary service markets to provide regulation and peakload shaving services. In this study, distributed batteries are operated and coordinated by the aggregator, which simultaneously submits offers to the energy and the ancillary service markets as an individual entity. An optimaldecision model is formulated for the aggregator to determine the operation and bidding strategy for the distributed batteries by considering the characteristics of batteries,including the terms of capacity, efficiency and degradation cost. | 4 | Proteomic and phosphoproteomic analysis reveal threonine deficiency increases hepatic lipid deposition in Pekin ducks via reducing STAT phosphorylation显示文摘Dietary threonine(Thr)deficiency enhances triglyceride(TG)deposition in the liver of Pekin ducks,which injures hepatic function and impairs growth performance.However,the underlying molecular mechanisms remain unclear.In the present study,we investigated the effects of dietary Thr deficiency on the expressions of proteins and phosphoproteins in liver of Pekin ducks,to identify the underlying molecular changes.A total of 300 one-day-old ducklings were divided into 3 groups with 10 replicates of 10 birds.All ducks were fed corn-wheat-peanut meal diets containing 0.46%,0.71%,and 0.96%Thr,respectively,from 1 to 21 days of age.Growth performance,serum parameters,hepatic TG content,and expression of genes involved in lipid metabolism of Pekin ducks were determined.A Thr deficiency group(Thr-D,0.46%Thr)and a Thr sufficiency group(Thr-S,0.71%Thr)were selected for subsequent proteomic and phosphoproteomic analysis.The results showed that Thr-D reduced the growth performance(P<0.001),and increased the plasma concentrations of cholesterol,high-density lipoprotein cholesterol,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol,and hepatic TG(P<0.05).Thr-D increased gene expression related to fatty acid and TG synthesis(P<0.05).A total of 176 proteins and 259 phosphosites(containing 198 phosphoproteins)were observed to be differentially expressed as a result of Thr-D.The upregulated proteins were enriched in the pathway related to amino acid metabolism,peroxisome.The down-regulated proteins were enriched in linolenic and arachidonic acid metabolism,and the Janus kinase-signal transducer and activator of transcription(JAK-STAT)signaling pathway.The upregulated phos-phoproteins were enriched in the pathways related to fatty acid biosynthesis,fructose and mannose metabolism,and glycolysis/gluconeogenesis.Thr-D reduced the phosphorylation of STAT1 at S729 and STAT3 at S728,and expression of STAT5B.In contrast,Thr-D increased non-receptor tyrosine-protein kinase(TYK2)expression and STAT1 phosphorylation at S649.Taken together,dietary Thr-D increased hepatic TG accumulation by upregulating the expression of genes and proteins,and phosphoproteins related to fatty acid and triglyceride synthesis.Furthermore,these processes might be regulated by the JAK-STAT signaling pathway,especially the phosphorylation of STAT1 and STAT3. | Yong Jiang Zhong Zhuang Wenqia Jia Zhiguo Wen Ming Xie Hao Bai Yulin Bi Zhixiu Wang Guobin Chang Shuisheng Hou Guohong Chen | 2023 | Animal Nutrition2023，，2： | 0 |
| 5 | Facile cyclic ammonium salt with the smallest size for high performance electric double layer capacitors显示文摘The smallest cyclic ammonium salt reported to date, N,N-dimethylpyrrolidinium tetrafluoroborate (P11-BF4), was successively synthesized using a synthesis route without metal ions and halogen ions, then investigated as the electrolyte with Propylene carbonate in EDLCs. The electrochemical characteristics of EDLCs assembled by 1 mol/L P11-BF4/PC paired with activated carbon electrodes were compared to traditional electrolytes. P11-BF4 has proven to have superior voltage resistance by using cyclic voltammetry and constant current charge-discharge testing. Moreover, P11-BF4 exhibits a more brilliant rate performance due to its high conductivity. | 6 | Quantitative research on higher order harmonics in metrology beamline显示文摘The synchrotron radiation spectra of the spherical grating monochromator(SGM)working in the soft X-ray and VUV region are often contaminated by significant amounts of higher order harmonics.They cannot be suppressed completely by suitable filters.Higher order contributions in the spectral radiation standard and metrology beamline were researched using transmission grating(made in-house)and IRD AXUV100G(USA)photodiode detector.The exit beam was dispersed with the transmission grating behind the exit slit of the monochromator,and the contributions of the different orders were analyzed.The higher order distributions were quantitatively determined for three gratings with line densities of 1800,600 and 200 l/mm.Experiment results show that in wavelengths between 5 nm and 15 nm the contributions of the higher orders to the detector signal are restricted to less than 7%even without the use of filters.In wavelength regions between 5 nm and 34 nm,the contributions of the higher orders to the detector signal are less than 14%with proper Al,Si_(3)N_(4) and Zr filters,and after being modified by quantum efficiency of the detector,the higher order contributions are restricted to less than 6.5%.The study also shows that higher orders are almost totally suppressed by MgF_(2) filter when the wavelength ranges between 115–140 nm. | Hongjun ZHOU Jinjin ZHENG Tonglin HUO Guobin ZHANG Zeming QI Pengfei ZHONG | 2008 | Frontiers of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in China2008，3，1： | 0 |

| 8 | How to Integrate Abstract Algebra and Number Theory in the Teaching of Public Key Cryptography Elegantly显示文摘Different from traditional symmetric cryptography, public key cryptography allows each user to own a pair of public/private key pair. Given the public key of one user and the data to be encrypted, a ciphertext can be generated such that only the intended user is able to recover the data using his/her private key associated with public key involved in the encryption process. To really understand the philosophy behind the public key cryptography is not an easy task and sometimes it seems somewhat difficult, if not impossible, for the beginners without the knowledge of the abstract algebra and number theory. In this paper, we introduce briefly the basic definition of public key cryptography as well as the corresponding mathematical hard problems.
