| 2 | Influence of vegetation parameters on runoff and sediment characteristics in patterned Artemisia capillaris plots显示文摘Vegetation patterns are important in the regulation of earth surface hydrological processes in arid and semi-arid areas. Laboratory-simulated rainfall experiments were used at the State Key Laboratory of Soil Erosion and Dryland Farming on the Loess Plateau, Yangling, northwestern China, to quantify the effects of Artemisia capillaris patterns on runoff and soil loss. The quantitative relationships between runoff/sediment yield and vegeta- tion parameters were also thoroughly analyzed using the path analysis method for identifying the reduction mechanism of vegetation on soil erosion. A simulated rainfall intensity of 90 mm/h was applied on a control plot without vegetation(C0) and on the other three different vegetation distribution patterns: a checkerboard pattern(CP), a banded pattern perpendicular to the slope direction(BP), and a single long strip parallel to the slope direction(LP). Each patterned plot received two sets of experiments, i.e. intact plants and roots only, respectively. All treatments had three replicates. The results showed that all the three other different patterns(CP, BP and LP) of A. capillaris could effectively reduce the runoff and sediment yield. Compared with C0, the other three intact plant plots had a 12%–25% less runoff and 58%–92% less sediment. Roots contributed more to sediment reduction(46%–70%), whereas shoots contributed more to runoff reduction(57%–81%). BP and CP exhibited preferable controlling effects on soil erosion compared with LP. Path analysis indicated that root length density and plant number were key pa- rameters influencing runoff rate, while root surface area density and root weight density were central indicators affecting sediment rate. | 6 | Exponential isothermal amplification coupled MALDI-TOF MS for microRNAs detection显示文摘Micro RNAs(mi RNAs) have attracted significant attention in biomedical research and clinical diagnosis.However, due to their inherent characteristics of low abundance and the high complexity of corresponding biological matrices, simultaneous detection of multiple mi RNAs at low abundance is still a challenge.In this work, a method coupling exponential amplification reaction(EXPAR) with matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry(MALDI-TOF MS) is developed for label-free and simultaneous detection of multiple mi RNAs. The assay can be performed under isothermal conditions in a single reaction tube, and finished in less than 30 min. It exhibits good quantification ability and with attomolar-level sensitivity for mi RNAs detection. It also shows high specificity to distinguish mi RNAs at single-nucleotide resolution. We used the method to detect the mi RNA-21, let-7a, mi RNA-100, and mi RNA-125b in samples of spiked human serum and breast cancer cells(i.e., MCF-7, MDA-MB-231 and SK-BR-3). | 7 | Regulating ethane and ethylene synthesis by proton corridor microenvironment for CO_(2) electrolysis显示文摘Electrocatalytic reduction of carbon dioxide is one of the most effective strategies to achieve carbon neutrality and energy sustainability.Although high-value multi-carbon products have been widely studied,limited electrocatalysts have been reported for the selective conversion of ethane.More importantly,the factors tuning the selectivity between ethane and ethylene have not been clarified.Here,Zn@Cu nanowire arrays(Zn@Cu-NWAs) catalyst is proposed to stimulate the maintenance of efficient CO_(2)-to-C_(2)H_(6) conversion at high current densities.Meanwhile,in order to investigate the factors affecting the interconversion between ethane and ethylene,the counterpart catalyst that facilitates C–C coupling to ethylene was also synthesized.Time-of-flight secondary-ion mass spectroscopy(TOF-SIMS),in-situ Raman spectroscopy,and simulation results show that Zn@Cu-NWAs can provide a localized proton corridor environment for the formation of ethane,accelerating the further proton-coupled CO_(2) reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR)kinetics.Hence,this catalyst delivered an ethane Faraday efficiency of over 65% at-1.14 V vs.RHE with a total current density of 142.3 mA/cm^(2).This work provides a new perspective on regulating the local microenvironment to modify the selectivity of multi-carbon products. | Xiaowen Zhang Bohua Ren Hao Li Shuxuan Liu Haoyang Xiong Silong Dong Yifan Li Dan Luo Yi Cui Guobin Wen Xin Wang | 2023 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,12: | 0 |

| 9 | Laparoscopic sigmoid vaginoplasty in women withMayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser syndrome显示文摘The feasibility and clinical therapeutic effects of laparoscopic sigmoid vaginoplasty in women with Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser syndrome(MRKHs)were explored.The records of 11 MRKHs patients who underwent laparoscopic sigmoid vaginoplasty from 2003 to 2005 were reviewed,and long-term results were evaluated by follow-up.The mean operating time was 234 min(range,130–300 min),the mean hospital stay was 9.4 days(range,7–15 days),and the mean hemoglobin drop was 1.91 g/dL(range,1.6–3.2 g/dL).A functional neovagina was created measuring 11 to 14 cm in length and twofingers in breadth in all patients.No introitus stenosis was observed.No intra-operative or postoperative bowel complication occurred.At the 3rd postoperative month,thefirst intercourse began.One patient was lost to follow-up.One had no intercourse and was required to wear vaginal mold occasionally.None of the other nine women(100%)complained of local irritation or dyspar-eunia.They were satisfied with their sexual life.The cosmetic results were excellent.The laparoscopic sigmoid vaginoplasty realizes to make a functional neovagina.The main advantage is its minimal invasiveness.It is an ideal procedure for MRKHs patients. | Yi SHEN Guobin WANG Zhoufang XIONG Kaixiong TAO Zehua WANG | 2009 | Frontiers of Medicine2009,3,3: | 0 |

| 12 | Self-erasable dynamic surface patterns via controllable elastic modulus boosting multi-encoded and tamper-proof information storage显示文摘Dynamic surface patterns(DSPs)have attracted significant interest in anti-counterfeiting,enabling information to be stored,encrypted and decrypted in response to external stimuli.However,creating dynamic surface patterns,capable of controlling wrinkling time and independently modulating different information in both wrinkled and fluorescent states,remains a tremendous challenge.These limit DSPs to further enhance tamper-proofing capacity and extend the information storage density.Here,a rationally designed patterning strategy based on controllable elastic modulus was demonstrated to fabricate self-erasable dynamic surface patterns(S-DSPs)that increase information storage density.These novel S-DSPs strategically integrated amino co-oligomers(ACOs)with the 9-anthracenemethanol(9-AM)as skin layers,designing a bilayer multi-encoding system which could carry several different types of information with wrinkled and fluorescent patterns.The ACOs with relatively low molecular weight can endow the elastic modulus of skin layers with a wide range of regulation.As a result,the difference between the compressive strain and the critical wrinkle strain in the bilayer system would be precisely modulated by photo-dimerization to form quick-response(minimum<1 min)and self-erasable(3 min–8 days)wrinkled patterns for S-DSPs.Meanwhile,the fluorescence pattern could be independently erased and reprogrammed without affecting the change in the wrinkle pattern under modulus-controlled conditions.Moreover,controllable self-erasure in S-DSPs significantly develops tamper-proof capabilities in a supply chain.This original strategy could provide a new approach to the tamper-proof,high-density,and multi-encoded information storage in the product security or inkless printing. | Ziquan Fang Xiaofeng Lin Yihui Lin Jiamin Gao Li Gong Ruijun Lin Guoyi Pan Jianyu Wu Wenjing Lin Xudong Chen Guobin Yi | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,1: | 0 |
