1Large-scale real-world radio signal recognition with deep learning显示文摘In the past ten years, many high-quality datasets have been released to support the rapid development of deep learning in the fields of computer vision, voice, and natural language processing. Nowadays, deep learning has become a key research component of the Sixth-Generation wireless systems(6G) with numerous regulatory and defense applications. In order to facilitate the application of deep learning in radio signal recognition, in this work, a large-scale real-world radio signal dataset is created based on a special aeronautical monitoring system-Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast(ADS-B). This paper makes two main contributions. First, an automatic data collection and labeling system is designed to capture over-the-air ADS-B signals in the open and real-world scenario without human participation. Through data cleaning and sorting, a high-quality dataset of ADS-B signals is created for radio signal recognition. 2Association of Overlapped and Un-overlapped Comorbidities with COVID-19 Severity and Treatment Outcomes: A Retrospective Cohort Study from Nine Provinces in China显示文摘Objective Several COVID-19 patients have overlapping comorbidities. The independent role of each component contributing to the risk of COVID-19 is unknown, and how some non-cardiometabolic comorbidities affect the risk of COVID-19 remains unclear.Methods A retrospective follow-up design was adopted. A total of 1,160 laboratory-confirmed patients were enrolled from nine provinces in China. Data on comorbidities were obtained from the patients’ medical records. Multivariable logistic regression models were used to estimate the odds ratio(OR) and 95% confidence interval(95% CI) of the associations between comorbidities(cardiometabolic or non-cardiometabolic diseases), clinical severity, and treatment outcomes of COVID-19.Results Overall, 158(13.6%) patients were diagnosed with severe illness and 32(2.7%) had unfavorable outcomes. Hypertension(2.87, 1.30–6.32), type 2 diabetes(T2 DM)(3.57, 2.32–5.49),cardiovascular disease(CVD)(3.78, 1.81–7.89), fatty liver disease(7.53, 1.96–28.96), hyperlipidemia(2.15, 1.26–3.67), other lung diseases(6.00, 3.01–11.96), and electrolyte imbalance(10.40, 3.00–26.10)were independently linked to increased odds of being severely ill. T2 DM(6.07, 2.89–12.75), CVD(8.47,6.03–11.89), and electrolyte imbalance(19.44, 11.47–32.96) were also strong predictors of unfavorable outcomes. Women with comorbidities were more likely to have severe disease on admission(5.46,3.25–9.19), while men with comorbidities were more likely to have unfavorable treatment outcomes(6.58, 1.46–29.64) within two weeks.Conclusion Besides hypertension, diabetes, and CVD, fatty liver disease, hyperlipidemia, other lung diseases, and electrolyte imbalance were independent risk factors for COVID-19 severity and poor treatment outcome. 3Effect of platinum on the photocatalytic degradation of chlorinated organic compound显示文摘TiO 2 nanoparticles, doped with different Pt contents, were prepared by a modified photodeposition method using Degussa P-25 TiO 2 , H 2 PtCl 6 ·6H 2 O and methanol as the solvents. The physicochemical properties of Pt/TiO 2 were investigated by the nitrogen adsorption and desorption isotherm measurement technique, X-ray diffraction analysis and photoluminescence spectra, respectively. Reaction rates from photocatalytic removal of dichloromethane over Degussa P-25 TiO 2 and Pt/TiO 2 were evaluated. The average diameter and BET surface area of the TiO 2 catalyst particles were 300 nm and 50 m 2 /g, respectively. The degradation efficiency was 99.0%, 82.7%, 55.2%, and 57.9% with TiO 2 at inlet concentrations of 50, 100, 200, and 300 ppm, respectively. And the degradation efficiency was 99.3%, 79.7%, 76.5%, and 73.4% with a 0.005 wt.% Pt/TiO 2 at inlet concentrations of 50, 100, 200, and 300 ppm, respectively. In addition, we found that the photoluminescence emission peak intensities decreased with increases in the doping amount of Pt, which indicates that the irradiative recombination was weakened. 4Altered Expression of Matrix Metalloproteinases and Tight Junction Proteins in Rats following PEMF-Induced BBB Permeability Change显示文摘Objective To investigate the expression of occludin,ZO‐1,MMP‐2,and MMP‐9 in cerebral microvasculature following Pulse Electromagnetic Field(PEMF) induced BBB permeability change.Methods Sprague‐Dawley rats were randomized into PEMF and sham exposed groups(n=8).After exposure to PEMF at 0.5,1,3,6,and 12 h,BBB permeability was measured by Evans‐Blue extravasation.The expression of occludin,ZO‐1,MMP‐2,and MMP‐9 were detected by real‐time quantitative reverse transcriptase PCR and western blotting.MMP‐2 and MMP‐9 activity were detected by EnzChek gelatinase assay.Results Compared with the sham group,PEMF exposure led to increased permeability of the BBB to EB,which was prolonged after exposure.BBB permeability became progressively more severe,and recovered at 6 h.The gene and protein expression of occludin and ZO‐1 were significantly decreased,while MMP‐2 and MMP‐9 expression were significantly increased after exposure to PEMF.All levels of expression recovered 12 h following PEMF.Conclusion Changes to BBB permeability were related to the alteration expression of tight junction proteins and matrix metalloproteinase after exposure to PEMF.ZHANG Ya Mei ZHOU Yan QIU Lian Bo DING Gui Rong PANG Xiao Feng 2012Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2012,25,2:5
5Bone Loss Induced by Simulated Microgravity,Ionizing Radiation and/or Ultradian Rhythms in the Hindlimbs of Rats显示文摘Objective To better understand the pathological causes of bone loss in a space environment, including microgravity, ionizing radiation, and ultradian rhythms. Methods Sprague Dawley(SD) rats were randomly divided into a baseline group, a control group, a hindlimb suspension group, a radiation group, a ultradian rhythms group and a combined-three-factor group. After four weeks of hindlimb suspension followed by X-ray exposure and/or ultradian rhythms, biomechanical properties, bone mineral density, histological analysis, microstructure parameters, and bone turnover markers were detected to evaluate bone loss in hindlimbs of rats. Results Simulated microgravity or combined-three factors treatment led to a significant decrease in the biomechanical properties of bones, reduction in bone mineral density, and deterioration of trabecular parameters. Ionizing radiation exposure also showed adverse impact while ultradian rhythms had no significant effect on these outcomes. Decrease in the concentration of the turnover markers bone alkaline phosphatase(b ALP), osteocalcin(OCN), and tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase-5 b(TRAP-5 b) in serum was in line with the changes in trabecular parameters. Conclusion Simulated microgravity is the main contributor of bone loss. Radiation also results in deleterious effects but ultradian rhythms has no significant effect. 8The Expression of Estrogen Receptor Subtypes in Prolactinomas and Their Relationship to Tumor Biological Behavior显示文摘Dopamine agonists(DA) are a first-line therapy for prolactinomas(PA). However, nearly 10% of prolactinomas do not respond to DA therapy. A considerable number of studies have shown that estrogen plays an important role in the development of prolactinomas. However, the expression of estrogen receptors(ER) in prolactinomas has not been fully explored. Accordingly, we examined the levels of ESR1 and its subtypes Δ5-Del-ESR1 and ESR2 m RNA in prolactinomas. In the present study, we found that ESR1 m RNA levels were significantly lower in women of childbearing age group compared to men(P<0.01) and post-menopausal women(P<0.05). In addition, ESR1 m RNA levels showed a significant positive correlation with the levels of prolactin(PRL). 10Investigation of geothermal structure of the Sulawesi,using gravity and magnetic method显示文摘The Sulawesi Sea and Sulawesi Island are located in the western Pacific area where volcanic activity,plate subduction,and seismic activity are very active.The Sulawesi basin formed during the Middle Eocene-Late Eocene and nearly half of the Eocene oceanic crust has subducted below the North Sulawesi Trench.The Sulawesi Island was spliced and finalized in the Early Pliocene-Pleistocene during volcanic activity and is recently very active.This area is an optimal location to study volcanic geothermal conditions and subduction initiation mechanisms in the southern part of the western Pacific plate margin,which are important in geothermal and geodynamic research.In this study,we combined 133 heat flow data with gravity and magnetic data to calculate the Moho structure and Curie point depth of the Sulawesi Sea and periphery of the Sulawesi Island,and analyze the distribution characteristics of the geothermal gradient and thermal conductivity.The results show that the average depths of the Moho and Curie surfaces in this area are 18.4 and 14.3 km,respectively,which is consistent with the crustal velocity layer structure in the Sulawesi Basin previously determined by seismic refraction.The average geothermal gradient is 4.96°C(100 m)-1.The oceanic area shows a high geothermal gradient and low thermal conductivity,whereas the land area shows a low geothermal gradient and high thermal conductivity,both of which are consistent with statistical results of the geothermal gradient at the measured heat flow points.The highest geothermal gradient zone occurs in the transition zone from the Sulawesi Sea to Sulawesi Island,corresponding to the spreading ridge of the southward-moving Sulawesi Basin.Comprehensive gravity,magnetic,and geothermal studies have shown a high crustal geothermal gradient in the study area,which is conducive to the subduction initiation.The northern part of the Palu-koro fault on the western side of Sulawesi is likely the location where subduction initiation is occurring.During the process of moving northwest,the northern and eastern branches of Sulawesi Island have different speeds;the former is slow and the latter is fast.These branches also show different deep tectonic dynamic directions;the northern branch tilts north-up and the eastern branch tilts north-down.Jian ZHANG Tianyao HAO Miao DONG Ya XU Beiyu WANG Yifei AI Gui FANG 2021Science China Earth Sciences2021,64,2:1

13Cellular Fatty Acids as Chemical Markers for Differentiation of Acinetobacter baumannii and Acinetobacter calcoaceticus显示文摘Objective Gas chromatography (GC) was used to investigate the cellular fatty acid (CFA) composition of 141 Acinetobacter baumannii and 32 A. calcoaceticus isolates from different locations in China and to find chemical markers to differentiate these two closely related bacteria. Methods Whole cell fatty acid methyl esters (FAMEs) were obtained by saponification, methylation, and extraction for GC analysis, followed by a standardized Microbial Identification System (MIS) analysis. Results All A. baumannii and A. calcoaceticus strains contained some major fatty acids, namely, 18:1 ω9c, 16:0, Sum In Feature 3, 12:0, 17:1ω8c, 3-OH-12:0, 17:0, Sum In Feature 2, 2-OH-12:0, and 18:0 compounds. Although most of the total CFAs are similar between A. baumannii and A. calcoaceticus strains, the ratios of two pairs of CFAs, i.e., Sum In Feature 3/18:1 ω9c versus 16:0/18:1 ω9c and Sum In Feature 3/18:1 ω9c versus unknown 12.484/18:1 ω9c fatty acids, could differentiate these two closely related bacteria. A. baumannii could be easily classified into two subgroups by plotting some ratios such as Sum In Feature 3/16:0 versus 17:0 and Sum In Feature 3/2-OH-12:0 versus17:0 fatty acids.
