| 1 | Constitutive modeling of viscoelastic-viscoplastic behavior of short fiber reinforced polymers coupled with anisotropic damage and moisture effects显示文摘In this paper, a combined viscoelasticity-viscoplasticity model, coupled with anisotropic damage and moisture effects, is developed for short fiber reinforced polymers (SFRPs) with different fiber contents and subjected to a variety of strain rates. In our model, a rate-dependent yield surface for the matrix phase is employed to identify initial yielding of the material. When an SFRP is loaded at small deformation before yielding, its viscoelastic behavior can be described using the generalized Maxwell model, while when plasticity occurs, a scalar internal state variable (ISV) is used to capture the hardening behavior caused by the polymeric constituent of the composite. The material degradation due to the moisture absorption of the composite is modeled by employing another type of ISV with different evolution equations. The complicated damage state of the SFRPs is captured by a second rank tensor, which is further decomposed to model the subscale damage mechanisms of micro-voids/cracks nucleation, growth and coalescence. | 3 | Ways to produce and measure atto- and femtosecond soft X-ray pulses显示文摘The ways to produce and measure atto-and femtosecond soft X-ray pulses are reported. The laser phase relation of high-order harmonic generation(HHG) shows two different radiation energy distribu-tions in time(or laser phase) domain. These energy-phase relations are helpful for realizing the dy-namic processes of HHG. Two presented parameterized formulas can be used to calculate the durations of the energy distributions with a bandwidth of the pulse. These formulas are useful in calculating and simulating pulses transports and interactions with mediums. The time structures of atto-and femto-second soft X-ray pulses can be directly measured with photoelectron spectrum transfer equations and the related laser phase determination methods without any previous pulse shape and the instantane-ous frequency assumptions. These equations and methods can be used to evaluate and improve the technical parameters of the ultra-short X-ray sources. | 4 | Research on Rosewood Micro Image Classification Method Based on Feature Fusion and ELM显示文摘Rosewood is a kind of high-quality and precious wood in China.The correct identification of rosewood species is of great significance to the import and export trade and species identification of furniture materials.In this paper,micro CT was used to obtain the micro images of CTOSS sections,radial sections and tangential sections of 24 kinds of rosewood,and the data sets were constructed.PCA method was used to reduce the dimension of four features including logical binary pattern,local configuration pattern,rotation invariant LBP,uniform LBP.These four fea-tures and one feature not reducing dimension(rotation invariant uniform LBP)was fused with Gray Level Co-Occurrence Matrix and Tamura features,respectively,a total of five fused features LBP+GLCM+Tamura,LCP+GLCM+Tamura,LBP_(P,R)^(u2)+GLCM+Tamura,LBP_(P,R)^(ri)+GLCM+Tamura and LBP_(P,R)^(riu2)+GLCM+Tamura were obtained.The five fused features were classified by extreme learning machine and BP neural network.The clas-sification effect of feature LBP_(P,R)^(u2)+GLCM+Tamura combined with extreme learning machine was the best,and the classification accuracy of CroSS,radial and tangential sections reached 100%,97.63%and 94.72%,respectively,which is 0.83%,2.77%and 5.70%higher than that of BP neural network.The classification running time of ELM is less than 1 s,and the classfcation eficiency is high.In condusion,the LBP_(P,R)^(u2)+GLCM+Tamura method com-bined with extreme learning machine can be used as a quick and acurate classifier,providing an efficient and feasible class ification method of rosewood. | Xiaoxia Yang Yisheng Gao Shuhua Zhang Zhedong Ge Yucheng Zhou | 2022 | Journal of Renewable Materials2022,10,12: | 1 |

| 7 | A Test Method for Torsion Strength of Refractory Materials at Elevated Temperatures显示文摘New apparatus for the determination of torsion strength of refractory materials at elevated temperatures has been developed in this work. With the employment of heating wire and induction heating unit,this device can carry out torsion strength test at high temperatures at the heating rate ranging from 10 ℃/min to 200 ℃/min.Torsion strength of high alumina brick,magnesia brick and Si3 N4 bonded SiC brick has been tested at different heating rates of 10 ℃/min,100 ℃/min and 200℃/min,separately. Results indicate that,for high alumina brick,the tested torsion strength at the heating rate of 10 ℃/min is very close to that at 100 ℃/min,but very different from that at 200 ℃/min. The tested torsion strength of magnesia brick at different heating rates differs greatly,while that of Si3 N4 bonded SiC brick is similar. This suggests that the structure of refractory materials with poor thermal shock resistance might be damaged when the heating rate of 200 ℃/min was applied,but the heating rate of 100 ℃/min is possible for a lot of refractory products. | 8 | High-lying excited states in ^10Be from the ^9Be(^9Be,^10Be)^8Be reaction显示文摘A transfer-reaction experiment of ~9Be(~9Be,^(10)Be)~8Be was performed at a beam energy of 45 Me V.Excited states in ^(10)Be up to 18.80 Me V are produced using missing mass and invariant mass methods.Most of the observed high-lying resonant states,reconstructed from theα+~6He and t+~7Li decay channels,agree with the previously reported results.In addition,two new resonances at 15.6 and 18.8 Me V are identified from the present measurement.The 18.55 Me V state is found to decay into both the t + ~7Lig:s: and t + ~7Li?(0.478 MeV) channels, with a relative branching ratio of 0:93 ± 0:33. | 11 | Use of photoelectron energy spectrum transfer equation for the measurement of a narrowband XUV pulse显示文摘To study the time evolution of a molecular state in an ultra-fast chemical reaction,the use of shorter pulses with higher photon energy and narrower bandwidth for both pump and probe is necessary.However,quick and precise measurement of their detailed time structures is a challenge.Over the last decade,great efforts have been made to measure an attosecond extreme ultraviolet (XUV) pulse.To date,several methods have been developed to measure the pulse duration and completely reconstruct it.The attosecond spectral phase interferometry for direct electric field reconstruction (SPIDER) and attosecond frequency-resolved optical gating (FROG) techniques are often used.However,these methods use state-of-the-art experimental set-ups and complicated data analysis procedures.To develop attosecond metrology for practical use (e.g.timing,measurement,evaluation,calibration,optimization,pumping,probing),we propose a quick and analytical method to precisely observe an attosecond XUV pulse with laser-assisted photo-ionization.The method is based on determining the laser-related phase of each streaked electron and using a transfer equation for one-step pulse reconstruction without any time-resolved measurements,iterative calculations,or data fitting procedures.Temporal errors of the pulse reconstruction are calculated from the XUV bandwidth.Because the transfer equation establishes a direct connection between the XUV pulse properties,the crucial laser parameters (peak intensity,phase,carrier envelope phase),the atomic ionization potential,and the measured photoelectron energy spectrum,we can use it to study any one of these properties from other known information and probe the dynamic processes of an ultra-fast reaction. | GE YuCheng HE HaiPing | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,8: | 0 |
| 12 | Functional evaluation of the insulin/insulin-like growth factor signaling pathway in determination of wing polyphenism in pea aphid显示文摘Wing polyphenism is a common phenomenon that plays key roles in environmental adaptation of insects.Insulin/insulin-like growth factor signaling(IIS)pathway is a highly conserved pathway in regulation of metabolism,development,and growth in metazoans.It has been reported that IS is required for switching of wing morph in brown planthopper via regulating the development of the wing pad.However,it remains elusive whether and how IIS pathway regulates transgenerational wing dimorphism in aphid.In this study,we found that pairing and solitary treatments can induce pea aphids to produce high and low percentage winged offspring,respectively.The expression level of ILP5(insulin-like peptide 5)in maternal head was significantly higher upon solitary treatment in comparison with pairing,while silencing of ILP5 caused no obvious change in the winged offspring ratio.RNA interference-mediated knockdown of FoxO(Forkhead transcription factor subgroup O)in stage 20 embryos significantly increased the winged offspring ratio.The results of pharmacological and quantitative polymerase chain reaction experiments showed that the embryonic insulin receptors may not be involved in wing polyphenism.Additionally,ILP4 and ILP11 exhibited higher expression levels in 1st wingless offspring than in winged offspring.We demonstrate that FoxO negatively regulates the wing morph development in embryos.ILPs may regulate aphid wing polyphenism in a developmental stage-specific manner.However,the regulation may be not mediated by the canonical IIS pathway.The findings advance our understanding of IIS pathway in insect transgenerational wing polyphenism. | Yiyang Yuan Yanyan Wang Wanwan Ye Erliang Yuan Jian Di Xin Chen Yanling Xings Yucheng Sun Feng Ge | 2023 | Insect Science2023,30,3: | 0 |
