1LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating from granitoids in southern basement of Songliao basin:Constraints on ages of the basin basement显示文摘Seven LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb datings from granitoids in the southern basement of the Songliao basin were done in order to constrain the ages of the basin basement. The cathodoluminescence (CL) images of the zircons from seven granitoids indicate that they are euhedral-subhedral ones with striped ab-sorption and obvious oscillatory zoning rims. The dating results show that a weighted mean 206Pb/238U age is 236±3 Ma for quartz diorite (sample No.T6-1) located in the western slope of the basin,that weighted mean 206Pb/238U ages are 319±1 Ma (2126 m) and 361±2 Ma (1994 m) for diorite (sample No.YC1-1) and granite (sample No.YC1-2) located in northern part of southeastern uplift of the basin,respectively,and that weighted mean 206Pb/238U ages are 161±5 Ma,165±2 Ma,165±1 Ma and 161±4 Ma for samples Q2-1,SN121,SN122,and SN72 granitoids located in southern part of southeastern uplift of the basin,respectively. The statistical results of ages suggest that the middle Jurassic granitoids con-stitute the main part of basement granitoids,and that the Hercynian and Indo-Sino magmatisms also occur in the basin basement. 2Equilibrium scour depth at offshore monopile foundation in combined waves and current显示文摘Unlike the pier scour in bridge waterways,the local scour at offshore monopile foundations should take into account the effect of wave-current combination.Under the condition of wave-current coexistence,the water-soil interfacial scouring is usually coupled with the pore-pressure dynamics inside of the seabed.The aforementioned wave/current-pile-soil coupling process was physically modeled with a specially designed flow-structure-soil interaction flume.Experimental results indicate that superimposing a current onto the waves obviously changes the pore-pressure and the flow velocity at the bed around the pile.The concomitance of horseshoe vortex and local scour hole around a monopile proves that the horseshoe vortex is one of the main controlling mechanisms for scouring development under the combined waves and current.Based on similarity analyses,an average-velocity based Froude number(Fra)is proposed to correlate with the equilibrium scour depth(S/D)at offshore monopile foundation in the combined waves and current.An empirical expression for the correlation between S/D and Fra is given for predicting equilibrium scour depth,which may provide a guide for offshore engineering practice.QI WenGang GAO FuPing 2014Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,5:16
3Estimation of inbreeding and identification of regions under heavy selection based on runs of homozygosity in a Large White pig population显示文摘Background: Runs of homozygosity(ROHs) are homozygous segments of the genome where the two haplotypes inherited from the parents are identical. The current availability of genotypes for a very large number of single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) is leading to more accurate characterization of ROHs in the whole genome. Here,we investigated the occurrence and distribution of ROHs in 3,692 Large White pigs and compared estimates of inbreeding coefficients calculated based on ROHs(FROH), homozygosity(FHOM), genomic relationship matrix(FGRM)and pedigree(FPED). Furthermore, we identified genomic regions with high ROH frequencies and annotated their candidate genes.Results: In total, 176,182 ROHs were identified from 3,569 animals, and all individuals displayed at least one ROH longer than 1 Mb. The ROHs identified were unevenly distributed on the autosomes. The highest and lowest coverages of Sus scrofa chromosomes(SSC) by ROH were on SSC14 and SSC13, respectively. The highest pairwise correlation among the different inbreeding coefficient estimates was 0.95 between FROH_totaland FHOM, while the lowest was-0.083 between FGRMand FPED. The correlations between FPEDand FROHusing four classes of ROH lengths ranged from 0.18 to 0.37 and increased with increasing ROH length, except for ROH > 10 Mb. Twelve ROH islands were located on four chromosomes(SSC1, 4, 6 and 14). These ROH islands harboured genes associated with reproduction, muscular development, fat deposition and adaptation, such as SIRT1, MYPN, SETDB1 and PSMD4.Conclusion: FROHcan be used to accurately assess individual inbreeding levels compared to other inbreeding coefficient estimators. 5Au nanoclusters suppress chronic lymphocytic leukaemia cells by inhibiting thioredoxin reductase 1 to induce intracellular oxidative stress and apoptosis显示文摘Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia(CLL) is a rare blood cancer that always relapses as refractory disease and eventually leads to death. To date, therapeutic options for CLL patients are scarce and there is an urgent need to develop novel chemotherapeutics that are both effective and safe. Gold-containing compounds induce a lethal oxidative and endoplasmic reticulum stress response in cultured and primary CLL cells via inhibition of thioredoxin reductase(TrxR). However, traditional gold-containing medicines have revealed side effects during clinical applications. Therefore, safer gold-containing drugs are needed to overcome this challenge. In this study, a novel peptide templated gold cluster Au_(25)Sv_9 was synthesized and its therapeutic effect on CLL cells was evaluated. This nanocluster could induce cell apoptosis in MEC-1 cells in a dose-dependent manner which correlated with the uptake amount of clusters in cells.As expected, increasing intracellular reactive oxidative species(ROS) in MEC-1 cells was exhibited with the increase of cluster dosage. Further analyses demonstrated the underlying mechanism that the nanoclusters suppress the activity of TrxR1, increase the level of intracellular ROS, destroy the mitochondrial membrane potential and finally trigger the mitochondrial apoptotic pathway in MEC-1 cells.Furthermore, the direct interaction between Au_(25)Sv_9 clusters and TrxR1 was confirmed for the first time by isothermal titration calorimetry. 6Experimental study of vortex-induced vibrations of a cylinder near a rigid plane boundary in steady flow显示文摘In this study,the vortex-induced vibrations of acylinder near a rigid plane boundary in a steady flow arestudied experimentally.The phenomenon of vortex-inducedvibrations of the cylinder near the rigid plane boundary isreproduced in the flume.The vortex shedding frequency andmode are also measured by the methods of hot film velocime-ter and hydrogen bubbles.A parametric study is carried out toinvestigate the influences of reduced velocity,gap-to-diame-ter ratio,stability parameter and mass ratio on the amplitudeand frequency responses of the cylinder.Experimental resultsindicate:(1)the Strouhal number(St)is around 0.2 for thestationary cylinder near a plane boundary in the sub-criti-cal flow regime;(2)with increasing gap-to-diameter ratio(e_0/D),the amplitude ratio(A/D)gets larger but frequencyratio(f/fn)has a slight variation for the case of larger val-ues of e_0/D(eo/D > 0.66 in this study);(3)there is a cleardifference of amplitude and frequency responses of the cylin-der between the larger gap-to-diameter ratios(e_0/D > 0.66)and the smaller ones(e_0/D < 0.3);(4)the vibration of thecylinder is easier to occur and the range of vibration in termsof V_r number becomes more extensive with decrease of thestability parameter,but the frequency response is affectedslightly by the stability parameter;(5)with decreasing mass ratio,the width of the lock-in ranges in terms of Vr and thefrequency ratio(f/fn)become larger.Bing Yang Fuping Gao Dong-Sheng Jeng Yingxiang Wu 2009Acta Mechanica Sinica2009,25,1:5
7Repeated modification of lithospheric mantle in the eastern North China Craton:Constraints from SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating of dunite xenoliths in western Shandong显示文摘Four dunite xenoliths from the Tietonggou intrusion of western Shandong,China,were subjected to SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating to constrain timing of the North China Craton(NCC) destruction,a topic of much controversy.Cathodoluminescence images revealed that 15 of the 18 zircon grains from the xenoliths display striped absorption.The rest showed oscillatory growth zoniation.All the zircons had variable contents of Th(49-3569 ppm;average,885 ppm) and U(184-5398 ppm;average,1277 ppm),and variable Th/U ratios(0.15-2.04).These zircon characteristics indicate a magmatic origin.The zircon age data can be divided into five groups:131-145,151-164,261-280,434-452,and 500-516 Ma.Group I(131-145 Ma) is consistent with timing of formation of the Tietonggou high-Mg diorites.Group II(151-164 Ma) is similar in age to Middle-Late Jurassic magmatism in the eastern NCC,which included both mantle-derived and intensive crust-derived magmatism.Group III(261-280 Ma) is similar in age to the Emeishan large igneous province,and Group IV(434-452 Ma) is similar in age to Paleozoic high-silica magmatism in the eastern NCC.Group V(500-516 Ma) may correspond to the global Pan-African event.Results indicate repeated modification of lithospheric mantle in the eastern NCC,and suggest that the most intensive modification occurred in the late Mesozoic(131-164 Ma).YANG DeBin XU WenLiang GAO Shan XU YiGang PEI FuPing 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,6:5
8Genome-wide identification of RNA editing in seven porcine tissues by matched DNA and RNA high-throughput sequencing显示文摘Background: RNA editing is a co/posttranscriptional modification mechanism that increases the diversity of transcripts, with potential functional consequences. The advent of next-generation sequencing technologies has enabled the identification of RNA edits at unprecedented throughput and resolution. However, our knowledge of RNA editing in swine is still limited.Results: Here, we utilized RES-Scanner to identify RNA editing sites in the brain, subcutaneous fat, heart, liver,muscle, lung and ovary in three 180-day-old Large White gilts based on matched strand-specific RNA sequencing and whole-genome resequencing datasets. In total, we identified 74863 editing sites, and 92.1% of these sites caused adenosine-to-guanosine(A-to-G) conversion. Most A-to-G sites were located in noncoding regions and generally had low editing levels. In total, 151 A-to-G sites were detected in coding regions(CDS), including 94 sites that could lead to nonsynonymous amino acid changes. We provide further evidence supporting a previous observation that pig transcriptomes are highly editable at PRE-1 elements. The number of A-to-G editing sites ranged from 4155(muscle) to 25001(brain) across the seven tissues. The expression levels of the ADAR enzymes could explain some but not all of this variation across tissues. The functional analysis of the genes with tissuespecific editing sites in each tissue revealed that RNA editing might play important roles in tissue function.Specifically, more pathways showed significant enrichment in the fat and liver than in other tissues, while no pathway was enriched in the muscle.Conclusions: This study identified a total of 74863 nonredundant RNA editing sites in seven tissues and revealed the potential importance of RNA editing in tissue function. 9On the instability of offshore foundations: theory and mechanism显示文摘As the offshore engineering moving from shallow to deep waters, the foundation types for fixed and floating platforms have been gradually evolving to minimize engineering costs and structural risks in the harsh offshore environments. Particular focus of this paper is on the foundation instability and its failure mechanisms as well as the relevant theory advances for the prevailing foundation types in both shallow and deep water depths. Piles, spudcans, gravity bases, suction caissons, and plate anchors are detailed in this paper. The failure phenomena and mechanisms for each type of foundations are identified and summarized, respectively. The theoretical approaches along with sophisticated empirical solutions for the bearing capacity problems are then presented. The major challenges are from flow-structure-soil coupling processes, rigorous constitutive modeling of cyclic behaviors of marine sediments, and the spatial variability of soil properties for large-spreading structures. 11Pullulan Acetate Coated Magnetite Nanoparticles for Hyper-Thermia:Preparation,Characterization and In Vitro Experiments显示文摘Amphipathic polymer pullulan acetate (PA)-coated magnetic nanoparticles were prepared and characterized by various physicochemical means. The cytotoxicity and cellular uptake of the magnetic nanoparticles were examined. The hyperthermic effect of the magnetic nanoparticles on tumor cells was evaluated. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) showed that the PA coated magnetic nanoparticles (PAMNs) had spherical morphology. Dynamic light scattering (DLS) showed that the size distribution of PAMNs was unimodal,with an average diameter of 25.8 nm ± 6.1 nm. The presence of the adsorbed layer of PA on the magnetite surface was confirmed by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. Magnetic measurements revealed that the saturation magnetization of the PAMNs reached 51.9 emu/g and the nanoparticles were superparamagnetic. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) showed that the Fe_(3)O_(4) particles constituted 75 wt% of the PAMNs. The PAMNs had good heating properties in an alternating magnetic field. Cytotoxicity assay showed that PAMNs exhibited no significant cytotoxicity against L929 cells. TEM results showed that a large number of PAMNs were internalized into KB cells. PAMNs have good hyperthermia effect on KB cells in vitro by magnetic field induced hyperthermia. 12The landscape of chromatin accessibility in skeletal muscle during embryonic development in pigs显示文摘Background:The development of skeletal muscle in pigs during the embryonic stage is precisely regulated by transcriptional mechanisms,which depend on chromatin accessibility.However,how chromatin accessibility plays a regulatory role during embryonic skeletal muscle development in pigs has not been reported.To gain insight into the landscape of chromatin accessibility and the associated genome-wide transcriptome during embryonic muscle development,we performed ATAC-seq and RNA-seq analyses of skeletal muscle from pig embryos at 45,70 and 100 days post coitus(dpc).Results:In total,21,638,35,447 and 60,181 unique regions(or peaks)were found across the embryos at 45 dpc(LW45),70 dpc(LW70)and 100 dpc(LW100),respectively.More than 91%of the peaks were annotated within−1 kb to 100 bp of transcription start sites(TSSs).First,widespread increases in specific accessible chromatin regions(ACRs)from embryos at 45 to 100 dpc suggested that the regulatory mechanisms became increasingly complicated during embryonic development.Second,the findings from integrated ATAC-seq and RNA-seq analyses showed that not only the numbers but also the intensities of ACRs could control the expression of associated genes.Moreover,the motif screening of stage-specific ACRs revealed some transcription factors that regulate muscle developmentrelated genes,such as MyoG,Mef2c,and Mef2d.Several potential transcriptional repressors,including E2F6,OTX2 and CTCF,were identified among the genes that exhibited different regulation trends between the ATAC-seq and RNA-seq data.Conclusions:This work indicates that chromatin accessibility plays an important regulatory role in the embryonic muscle development of pigs and regulates the temporal and spatial expression patterns of key genes in muscle development by influencing the binding of transcription factors.Our results contribute to a better understanding of the regulatory dynamics of genes involved in pig embryonic skeletal muscle development.Jingwei Yue Xinhua Hou Xin Liu Ligang Wang Hongmei Gao Fuping Zhao Lijun Shi Liangyu Shi Hua Yan Tianyu Deng Jianfei Gong Lixian Wang Longchao Zhang 2021Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2021,12,4:2
13Geologic,Fluid Inclusion and Stable Isotope Constraints on Mechanisms of Ore Deposition at the Datuanshan Copper Deposit,Middle-Lower Yangtze Valley,Eastern China显示文摘The Datuanshan deposit is one of the largest and most representative stratabound copper deposits in the Tongling area,the largest ore district in the Middle-Lower Yangtze River metallogenic belt.The location of the orebodies is controlled by the interlayer-slipping faults between the Triassic and Permian strata,and all the orebodies are distributed in stratiform shape around the Mesozoic quartz monzodiorite dikes.Based on field evidence and petrographic observations,four mineralization stages in the Datuanshan deposit have been identified:the skarn,early quartz-sulfide,late quartzsulfide and carbonate stages.Chalcopytite is the main copper mineral and mainly formed at the late quartz-sulfide stage.Fluid inclusions at different stages were studied for petrography,microthermometry,laser Raman spectrometry and stable isotopes.Four types of fluid inclusions,including three-phase fluid inclusions(type 1),liquid-rich fluid inclusions(type 2),vapour-rich fluid inclusions(type 3) and pure vapour fluid inclusions(type 4),were observed.The minerals from the skarn,early and late quartz-sulfide stages contain all fluid inclusion types,but only type 2 fluid inclusions were observed at the carbonate stage.Petrographic observations suggest that most of the inclusions studied in this paper are likely primary.The coexistence of different types of fluid inclusions with contrasting homogenization characteristics(to the liquid and vapour phase,respectively) and similar homogenization temperatures(the modes are 440-480℃,380-400℃ and 280-320℃ for the skarn,early and late quartz-sulfide stages,respectively) in the first three stages,strongly suggests that three episodes of fluid boiling occurred during these stages,which is supported by the hydrogen isotope data.Laser Raman spectra identified CH_4 at the skarn and early quartz-sulfide stages.Combined with other geological features,the early ore-forming fluids were inferred to be under a relatively reduced environment.The CO_2 component has been identified at the late quartz-sulfide and carbonate stages,indicating that the late ore-forming fluids were under a relatively oxidized environment,probably as a result of inflow of and mixing with meteoric water.In addition,microthermometric results of fluid inclusions and H-O isotope data mdicate that the ore forming fluids were dominated by magmatic water in the early stages(skarn and early quartz-sulfide stages) and mixed with meteoric water in the late stages(late quartz-sulfide and carbonate stages).The evidence listed above suggests that the chalcopyrite deposition in the Datuanshan deposit probably resulted from the combination of multiepisode fluid boiling and mixing of magmatic and meteoric water.CAO Yi DU Yangsong PANG Zhenshan DU Yilun KOU Shaolei CHEN Linjie GAO Fuping ZHOU Guibi 2015Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,3:2
14Acoustic characteristics of stop consonants in fluent reading Chinese Putonghua speech of adult stutterers显示文摘This study investigated whether adults who stutter and normal adult speakers differ in the production of stop consonants in fluent reading Chinese Putonghua speech.Voice onset time(VOT) was measured and the spectral moments at the stop burst were calculated for the stutterers(both before and after the speech therapy) and also for the nonstutterers. The statistical results showed that there were no significant differences in VOT between the nonstutterers and stutterers either prior to or after therapy,although the mean VOT of the stutterers was slightly greater than that of the nonstutterers.The results also indicated that both the obstruction place and the subsequent syllabic final exhibited an influence to a greater extent on VOT for the stutterers.In the spectral domain,the spectral mean of the stuttering participants before therapy was significantly different from that of the normal participants, whereas the group difference became insignificant after the therapy session.The smaller spectral mean for the stutterers might be interpreted as a more posterior occlusion in the oral cavity when producing alveolars and velars.In addition,productions of the stutterers scattered with a wider range in the space of spectral moments.Furthermore,the smaller main effect of syllabic finals on the mean spectral frequency of the burst suggested that the stutterers exhibited weaker anticipatory coarticulation than the nonstutterers.FENG Yongqiang YAN Qian GAO Xinglong PAN Fuping XING Lili LIN Chunlan PAN Jielin 2013Chinese Journal of Acoustics2013,32,3:1

18A Novel Magnetic Carbon Based Catalyst Synthesized from Reed Straw and Electric Furnace Dust for Biodiesel Production显示文摘In the era of serious greenhouse gas emission and energy shortage,it is necessary to use solid waste to prepare new renewable materials.In this work,the potential application of reed straw and electric furnace dust was explored.Firstly,magnetic carbon carrier(EFD&C)was prepared by high temperature calcination,and then magnetic carbon catalyst(SM@EFD&C)was prepared by activation of sodium methoxide.The catalyst was used to prepare biodiesel by transesterification reaction to test its activity and stability.Reed biochar,EFD&C and SM@EFD&C were detected by Diffraction of X-rays(XRD),Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR),Inductively coupled plasma(ICP),Scanning electron microscope(SEM),Transmission electron microscope(TEM),Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET),Vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM),Temperature programmed desorption of CO_(2)(CO_(2)-TPD)and Thermogravimetric analysis(TG-DTG).The results showed that SM@EFD&C catalyst had some characteristics including porous structure,easy adsorption and better magnetism.Under the reaction conditions of 65℃for 2 h with 6 wt%catalyst and methanol/oil molar ratio of 15:1,the biodiesel yields from reed biochar and EFD&C were only 4.88 wt%and 0.03 wt%,respectively,while the yield from SM@EFD&C catalyst reached 93.14 wt%(89.84 wt%after 7 cycles)under the same conditions,which proved that it had good catalytic activity and stability when used in biodiesel production.This study is of great significance of carbon dioxide emission reduction and environmental protection.Fuping Wang Lele Kang Rui Ji Tianji Liu Qing Yu Di Gao Xiaoman Wang Yitong Wang Jie Yang 2022Journal of Renewable Materials2022,10,8:1
