Stress Effect of Cadmium Absorption between Aloe and Solanum nigrum L显示文摘The stress effect of cadmium absorption between aloe and Solanum nigrum L was studied through a simulation experiment with different cadmium contents in soil. The results showed that the growth characteristics, biomass and Cd content in the plants of aloe and S.nigrum L were closely related to Cd content in the soil, and S.nigrum L and aloe had a strong tolerance to Cd in the experiment.pH of rhizosphere soil with S.nigrum L and aloe planted was generally higher than that of non-rhizosphere soil, which is related to the planting pattern.Compared with aloe,S.nigrum L had a stronger capacity to accumulate Cd,and intercropping S.nigrum L and aloe could inhibit aloe's absorption of Cd,which is favorable to the safe planting of aloe.In addition,S.nigrum L has the potential to restore polluted soil.Chen Yingzhi Fu Shanming Wang Jianhuang Pei Jie Li Wenhao He Caizhen 2015Meteorological and Environmental Research2015,6,3:4
Robust and ultralow-energy-threshold ignition of a lean mixture by an ultrashort-pulsed laser in the filamentation regime显示文摘Laser ignition(LI)allows for precise manipulation of ignition tinning and location and is promising for green combustion of automobile and rocket engines and aero-turbines under lean-fuel conditions with improved emission efficiency;however, achieving completely effective and reliable ignition is still a challenge. Here,we report the realization of igniting a lean methane/air mixture with a 100%success rate by an ultrashort femtosecond laser, which has long been regarded as an unsuitable fuel ignition source. We demonstrate that the minimum ignition energy can decrease to the sub-mJ level depending on the laser filamentation formation, and reveal that the resultant early OH radical yield significantly increases as the laser energy reaches the ignition threshold, showing a clear boundary for misfire and fire cases.Potential mechanisms for robust ultrashort LI are the filamentation-induced heating effect followed by exothermal chemical reactions,in combination with the line ignition effect along the filament. Our results pave the way toward robust and efficient ignition of lean-fuel engines by ultrashort-pulsed lasers.Hongwei Zang Helong Li Wei Zhang Yao Fu Shanming Chen Huailiang Xu Ruxin Li 2021Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,3:1
Identifications of products of geographical origin based on geochemical zoning显示文摘The protection system of products of geographical origin has become one hot subject with which various countries throughout the world are concerned. Results of element-Pb isotope geochemical mapping indicate that there emerge a number of famous-brand high-quality product groups of geographical origin in China. The environment of production of China’s famous-brand white spirits of geographical origin at the Sichuan-Guizhou border is still a mystery to be solved. China has two main communities of white spirits of geographical origin, i.e., the most famous are Moutai and Wuliangye spirits. By element-Pb isotope geochemical tracing, we can establish the natural background geological, geographical and geochemical scientific data mark ers in close relation with source areas. Research on the product of geographical origin, named Kaempferia galangal L. in the Shuangjiao district, Yangchun, Guangdong Province, showed that the trace elements have an excellent heritance between Kaempferia galangal L. and soil in this area, and the trace elements are highly effective for tracing the origin.CHANG Xiangyang FU Shanming LIU Hui CHEN Nan ZHAO Xiaofeng ZHU Bingquan TU Xianglin 2011Chinese Journal Of Geochemistry2011,30,1:0

Stress Effect of Cadmium Absorption between Aloe and Brassica junica显示文摘The stress effect of cadmium absorption between aloe and Brassica junica was studied through a simulation experiment with different cadmium contents in soil. The results showed that the growth characteristics, biomass and cadmium content of aloe and B.junica plants were related to pH and cadmium content in the soil. When aloe was intercropped with B.junica, soil pH was higher than that of single planting, showing that intercropping aloe and B.junica can reduce aloe's absorption of Cd.When Cd content in the soil was high, the absorption coefficient of aloe was lower than that of B.junica, and Cd content in the leaves of intercropped aloe was 15.8%-79.2%lower than that of aloe cropped only.In addition, planting B.junica in the soil with different contents of Cd had certain stress effect on aloe's absorption of Cd,thereby protecting aloe well, improving safety of aloe planting and showing its potential for application in phytoremediation.Pei Jie Fu Shanming Wang Jianhuang Chen Yingzhi Li Wenhao He Caizhen 2015Meteorological and Environmental Research2015,6,3:0
Goldilocks focal zone in femtosecond laser ignition of lean fuels显示文摘Laser ignition of lean fuels offers a promising route for green combustion with high combustion efficiency and low exhaust emissions. The fundamental limitations which apply to femtosecond laser ignition(fs-LI) of lean fuels are the inferior energy deposition and low thermodynamic temperature. However, it was discovered recently that the fs laser filamentation can induce 100% success rate of fs-LI with ultralow sub-m J minimum ignition energy, exhibiting distinct contrast to the general understanding that it is hard to achieve fs-LI. The present contribution examines the extent to which the minimum ignition energies depend on filamentation formation, and explores the key factors for the success of fs-LI. We perform fs-LI of a lean-fuel CH;/air mixture using a femtosecond near-infrared(~40 fs, 800 nm) pulse at different external focal conditions, and find a Goldilocks focal zone to facilitate fs-LI. In this special zone, a crucial balance between the length of igniting “line” kernel and the plasma density of the fs laser filament is achieved, which determines not only the total amount of resultant OH radicals, but also their distribution along the plasma filament. Our finding provides a viable strategy with clear guidelines for fs-LI, and also opens up an avenue of exploring unprecedented ultrafast ignition dynamics after fs-laser-fuel interactions towards gaining deeper insights into reaction intermediates and combustion processes.ZANG HongWei LI HeLong LIANG TianFeng CHEN ShanMing ZHANG Wei FU Yao XU HuaiLiang LI RuXin 2022Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,7:0
