| 1 | Profile improvement during CO_2 flooding in ultra-low permeability reservoirs显示文摘Gas flooding such as CO2 flooding may be effectively applied to ultra-low permeability reservoirs, but gas channeling is inevitable due to low viscosity and high mobility of gas and formation heterogeneity. In order to mitigate or prevent gas channeling, ethylenediamine is chosen for permeability profile control. The reaction mechanism of ethylenediamine with CO2, injection performance, swept volume, and enhanced oil recovery were systematically evaluated. The reaction product of ethylenediamine and CO2 was a white solid or a light yellow viscous liquid, which would mitigate or prevent gas channeling. Also, ethylenediamine could be easily injected into ultra-low permeability cores at high temperature with protective ethanol slugs. The core was swept by injection of 0.3 PV ethylenediamine. Oil displacement tests performed on heterogeneous models with closed fractures, oil recovery was significantly enhanced with injection of ethylenediamine. Experimental results showed that using ethylenediamine to plug high permeability layers would provide a new research idea for the gas injection in fractured, heterogeneous and ultra-low permeability reservoirs. | 2 | Effectiveness of Jinying capsule on pelvic inflammatory disease in patients with symptom pattern of damp and heat accumulation: a double-blinded, multicenter, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the therapeutic effectiveness and safety of Jinying capsule on pelvic inflammatory disease(PID) in patients with symptoms identified as the pattern of damp and heat accumulation in terms of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM).METHODS: We conducted a double-blinded, multicenter, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial which included 155 patients diagnosed with PID and identified as symptom pattern of damp and heat accumulation. They were randomly divided into experimental group(n = 78) and control group(n = 77) according to a random number table. The treatment lasted for a period of 28 d. The experimental group was given Jinying capsules and oral levofloxacin plus oral metronidazole for first 7 d.They continued with Jinying capsules and levofloxacin placebo and metronidazole placebo for another 7 d. For the remaining 14 d, they continued with Jinying capsules only. Whereas, the control group was treated with oral levofloxacin and metronidazole and Jinying capsule placebo for the first 14 d in the same way as the experimental group and then continued with Jinying capsule placebo only for the remaining 14 d. The clinical efficacy was assessed using McCormack scale, TCM symptom pattern scores, physicochemical indexes including white blood cell and erythrocyte sedimentation rate, C-reaction protein, smear of vaginal discharge,and pelvic ultrasound.RESULTS: Comparing McCormack scale between both groups after treatment, the difference in curative effect between both groups was significant (P = 0.0269). The cure rate of the experimental group and control group is 76.32% and 59.46% respectively at week 4. Comparing TCM symptom pattern scores between both groups before and after treatment, the differences in total effective rate were both significant(P < 0.05). The curative effect rate of experimental group is 2.63% and 13.70% of the control group at week 1(P = 0.0131), and73.33% of the experimental group and 56.94% of the control group at week 4(P = 0.0369). No significant differences were found between the two groups on the Physicochemical indexes(all P >0.05). | 6 | Characteristics of remaining oil viscosity in water-and polymer-flooding reservoirs in Daqing Oilfield显示文摘The experimental analysis of 21 crude oil samples shows a good correlation between high molecular-weight hydrocarbon components (C 40+) and viscosity.Forty-four remaining oil samples extracted from oil sands of oilfield development coring wells were analyzed by high-temperature gas chromatography (HTGC),for the relative abundance of C 21-,C 21-C 40 and C 40+ hydrocarbons.The relationship between viscosity of crude oil and C 40+ (%) hydrocarbons abundance is used to expect the viscosity of remaining oil.The mobility characteristics of remaining oil,the properties of remaining oil,and the next displacement methods in reservoirs either water-flooded or polymer-flooded are studied with rock permeability,oil saturation of coring wells,etc.The experimental results show that the hydrocarbons composition,viscosity,and mobility of remaining oil from both polymer-flooding and water-flooding reservoirs are heterogeneous,especially the former.Relative abundance of C 21- and C 21-C 40 hydrocarbons in polymer-flooding reservoirs is lower than that of water-flooding,but with more abundance of C 40+ hydrocarbons.It is then suggested that polymer flooding must have driven more C 40- hydrocarbons out of reservoir,which resulted in relatively enriched C 40+,more viscous oils,and poorer mobility.Remaining oil in water-flooding reservoirs is dominated by moderate viscosity oil with some low viscosity oil,while polymer-flooding mainly contained moderate viscosity oil with some high viscosity oil.In each oilfield and reservoir,displacement methods of remaining oil,viscosity,and concentration by polymer-solution can be adjusted by current viscosity of remaining oil and mobility ratio in a favorable range.A new basis and methods are suggested for the further development and enhanced oil recovery of remaining oil. | XU ZhengShun,ZHANG JuHe,FENG ZiHui,FANG Wei & WANG FengLan Exploration and Development Research Institute,Daqing Oilfield Company Ltd.,Daqing 163712,China | 2010 | Science China Earth Sciences2010,53,1: | 3 |
| 7 | Identification of long noncoding RNAs involved in resistance to downy mildew in Chinese cabbage显示文摘Brassica downy mildew,a severe disease caused by Hyaloperonospora brassicae,can cause enormous economic losses in Chinese cabbage(Brassica rapa L.ssp.pekinensis)production.Although some research has been reported recently concerning the underlying resistance to this disease,no studies have identified or characterized long noncoding RNAs involved in this defense response.In this study,using high-throughput RNA sequencing,we analyzed the disease-responding mRNAs and long noncoding RNAs in two resistant lines(T12–19 and 12–85)and one susceptible line(91–112).Clustering and Gene Ontology analysis of differentially expressed genes(DEGs)showed that more DEGs were involved in the defense response in the two resistant lines than in the susceptible line.Different expression patterns and proposed functions of differentially expressed long noncoding RNAs among T12–19,12–85,and 91–112 indicated that each has a distinct disease response mechanism.There were significantly more cis-and trans-functional long noncoding RNAs in the resistant lines than in the susceptible line,and the genes regulated by these RNAs mostly participated in the disease defense response.Furthermore,we identified a candidate resistance-related long noncoding RNA,MSTRG.19915,which is a long noncoding natural antisense transcript of a MAPK gene,BrMAPK15.Via an agroinfiltration-mediated transient overexpression system and virus-induced gene silencing technology,BrMAPK15 was indicated to have a greater ability to defend against pathogens.MSTRG.19915-silenced seedlings showed enhanced resistance to downy mildew,probably because of the upregulated expression of BrMAPK15.This research identified and characterized long noncoding RNAs involved in resistance to downy mildew,laying a foundation for future in-depth studies of disease resistance mechanisms in Chinese cabbage. | Bin Zhang Tongbing Su Peirong Li Xiaoyun Xin Yunyun Cao Weihong Wang Xiuyun Zhao Deshuang Zhang Yangjun Yu Dayong Li Shuancang Yu Fenglan Zhang | 2021 | Horticulture Research2021,8,1: | 3 |

A differential-algebraic system is applied to model these chemical reactions. The stability and the dynamic behavior are studied for the differential-algebraic system. The Hopf bifurcation appears when the parameter exceeds a critical value. In order to eliminate this complex behavior, the differential-algebraic system is described by a single-input and single-output system with parameter varying within definite intervals, and then variable structure control with sliding mode based on a special power reaching law is designed to stabilize this chemical system. | 13 | Genome-wide analysis of changes in miRNA and target gene expression reveals key roles in heterosis for chinese cabbage biomass显示文摘Heterosis is a complex phenomenon in which hybrids show better phenotypic characteristics than their parents do.Chinese cabbage(Brassica rapa L.spp.pekinensis)is a popular leafy crop species,hybrids of which are widely used in commercial production;however,the molecular basis of heterosis for biomass of Chinese cabbage is poorly understood.We characterized heterosis in a Chinese cabbage hybrid cultivar and its parental lines from the seedling stage to the heading stage;marked heterosis of leaf weight and biomass yield were observed.Small RNA sequencing revealed 63 and 50 differentially expressed microRNAs(DEMs)at the seedling and early-heading stages,respectively.The expression levels ofthe majority of miRNA clusters in the hybrid were lower than the mid-parent values(MPVs).Using degradome sequencing,we identi fied 1,819 miRNA target genes.Gene ontology(GO)analyses demonstrated that the target genes ofthe MPV-DEMs and low parental expression level dominance(ELD)miRNAs were signi ficantly enriched in leaf morphogenesis,leaf development,and leaf shaping.Transcriptome analysis revealed that the expression levels of photosynthesis and chlorophyll synthesis-related MPV-DEGs(differentially expressed genes)were signi ficantly different in the F_(1) hybrid compared to the parental lines,resulting in increased photosynthesis capacity and chlorophyll content in the former.Furthermore,expression of genes known to regulate leaf development was also observed at the seedling stage.Arabidopsis plants overexpressing BrGRF4.2 and bra-miR396 presented increased and decreased leaf sizes,respectively.These results provide new insight into the regulation of target genes and miRNA expression patterns in leaf size and heterosis for biomass of B.rapa. | Peirong Li Tongbing Su Deshuang Zhang Weihong Wang Xiaoyun Xin Yangjun Yu Xiuyun Zhao Shuancang Yu Fenglan Zhang | 2021 | Horticulture Research2021,8,1: | 1 |

| 16 | Hierarchically porous CMC/rGo/CNFs aerogels for leakage-proof mirabilite phase change materials with superior energy thermal storage显示文摘As a kind of essential hydrated salt phase change energy storage materials,mirabilite with high energy storage density and mild phase-transition temperature has excellent application potential in the problems of solar time and space mismatch.However,there are some disadvantages such as supercooling,substantial phase stratification and leakage problem,limiting its further applications.In this work,for the preparation of shaped mirabilite phase change materials(MPcMs),graphene(GO),sodium carboxymethyl cellulose(CMC),and carbon nanofibers(CNFs)were used as starting materials to prepare lightweight CMC/rGO/CNFs carbon aerogel(CGCA)as support with stable shape,high specific surface area,and well-arranged hierarchically porous structure.The results show that CGCA has regular layered plentiful pores and stable foam structure,and the pore and sheet interspersed structure in CGCA stabilizes PcMs via capillary force and surface tension.The hydrophilic aerogels supported MPCMs decrease mirabilite leaking and reduce supercooling to around 0.7-1C.The latent heats of melting and crystallization of CGCA-supported mirabilite phase change materials(CGCA-PCMs)are 157.1 and 114.8 J-g-1,respectively.Furthermore,after 1500 solid-liquid cycles,there is no leakage,and the retention rate of crystallization latent heat is 45.32%,exhibiting remarkable thermal cycling stability. | Fenglan CHEN Xin LIU Zhengya WANG Shengnian TIE Chang-An WANG | 2022 | Frontiers of Materials Science2022,16,4: | 1 |
