1人工湿地系统对污水磷的净化效果显示文摘建立以亚热带湿生、水生植物为主的十二套下行流—上行流人工湿地系统作为处理城镇生活污水的对策。以其中四套研究其在不同的水力负荷及气候条件下对污水中磷的去除效果。人工湿地系统随处理运行时间的推移趋于稳定 ,对污水中的总磷、无机磷显示较好的净化效率 ,平均去除率在冬季达到 40 %以上 ,夏季达到 60 %以上 ,出水达到国家地面水Ⅲ级标准。水生植物在系统中起到明显作用 ,有植物系统的除磷效率及稳定性均高于无植物对照 ,其中 2号茭白—石菖蒲系统的效果最好 ,总磷平均去除率为 65%。 4号草—苔草系统在高水力负荷下的净化效果优于 2号。WU Zhen-bin CHEN Hui-rong HE Feng CHENG Shui-ping FU Gui-ping JIN Jian-ming QIU Dong-ru REN Ming-xun 任明迅 金建明 贺锋 陈辉蓉 付贵萍 吴振斌 邱东茹 成水平 2001水生生物学报2001,25,1:188
2DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF CESAREAN SCAR PREGNANCY显示文摘Objective To investigate the early diagnosis and treatment of cesarean scar pregnancy(CSP).Methods Clinical data of 28 patients with CSP in Peking Union Medical College Hospital from January 1994 to April 2007,including age,interval from the last cesarean delivery to diagnosis,clinical presentation,location of the lesion,process of diagnosis and treatment,outcome,and follow-up,were retrospectively analyzed.Results CSP constituted 1.05% of all ectopic pregnancies,and the ratio of CSP to pregnancy was 1∶1221.The mean age of the group was 31.4 years.Twenty-six women had only one prior cesarean delivery.The interval from the last cesarean delivery to diagnosis ranged from 4 months to 15 years.The most common presenting symptoms of CSP were amenorrhoea and vaginal bleeding.Seventeen cases were misdiagnosed as early intrauterine pregnancies and 2 were misdiagnosed as gestational trophoblastic tumor.The other 9 were diagnosed definitely before treatment.The diagnosis was made based on cesarean delivery history,gynecologic examination,ultrasound,and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).The treatment of CSP included systemic or local methotrexate administration,conservative surgery,and hysterectomy.The conservative treatment was successful in 24 cases.All of the 28 women were cured through individual therapies.Conclusions CSP is rare and usually misdiagnosed as other diseases.Ultrasound is valuable for diagnosing CSP,and MRI can be used as an adjunct to ultrasound scan.Early diagnosis offers the options of conservative treatment and greatly improves the outcome of patients.Individual therapy is strongly recommended.Lan-zhou Jiao Jun Zhao Xi-run Wan Xin-yan Liu Feng-zhi Feng Tong Ren Yang Xiang 2008Chinese Medical Sciences Journal2008,23,1:65
3Nitrogen Cycling and Losses Under Rice-Wheat Rotations with Coated Urea and Urea in the Taihu Lake Region显示文摘A lysimeter experiment with undisturbed soil profiles was carried out to study nitrogen cycling and losses in a paddy soil with applications of coated urea and urea under a rice-wheat rotation system in the Taihu Lake region from 2001 to 2003. Treatments for rice and wheat included urea at conventional, 300 (rice) and 250 (wheat) kg N ha-1, and reduced levels, 150 (rice) and 125 (wheat) kg N ha-1, coated urea at two levels, 100 (rice) and 75 (wheat) kg N ha-1, and 150 (rice) and 125 (wheat) kg N ha-1, and a control with no nitrogen arranged in a completely randomized design. The results under two rice-wheat rotations showed that N losses through both NH3 volatilization and runoff in the coated urea treatments were much lower than those in the urea treatments. In the urea treatments N runoff losses were significantly (P < 0.001) positively correlated (r = 0.851) with applied N. N concentration in surface water increased rapidly to maximum two days after urea application and then decreased quickly. However, if there was no heavy rain within five days of fertilizer application, the likelihood of N loss by runoff was not high. As the treatments showed little difference in N loss via percolation, nitrate N in the groundwater of the paddy fields was not directly related to N leaching. The total yield of the two rice-wheat rotations in the treatment of coated urea at 50% conventional level was higher than that in the treatment of urea at the conventional level. 6Pilose antler aqueous extract promotes the proliferation and osteogenic differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells by stimulating the BMP-2/Smad1, 5/Runx2 signaling pathway显示文摘Peptides from Pilose antler aqueous extract(PAAE) have been shown to stimulate the proliferation and differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs). However, the underlying molecular mechanisms are not well understood. Here, PAAE was isolated and purified to explore the molecular mechanisms underlying PAAE’s effects on BMSCs as well as its osteoprotective effects in ovariectomized rats. Our results showed that PAAE promoted proliferation and differentiation of BMSCs to become osteoblasts by enhancing ALP activity and increasing extracellular matrix mineralization. The trabecular microarchitecture of ovariectomized rats was also found to be protected by PAAE. Quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(Quantitative RT-PCR) results suggest that PAAE also increased the expression of osteogenic markers including, alkaline phosphatase(ALP), runt-related transcription factor 2(Runx2), osteocalcin(OCN), bone morphogenetic protein-2(BMP-2), and collagen I(COL-I). Immunoblotting results indicated that PAAE upregulated the levels of BMP-2 and Runx2 and was associated with Smad1/5 phosphorylation. PAAE A at the concentration of 200μg·mL^-1 showed the strongest effect on proliferation and osteogenic differentiation of BMSCs after 48 h. Using matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time of flight mass spectrometry(MALDI-TOF MS), we identified the molecular weight of PAAE A and found that it is less than 3000 Da and showed several significant peaks. In conclusion, PAAE activates the BMP-2/Smad1, 5/Runx2 pathway to induce osteoblastic differentiation and mineralization in BMSCs and can inhibit OVX-induced bone loss. 8Optimization of regularization parameter of inversion in particle sizing using light extinction method显示文摘In particle sizing by light extinction method, the regularization parameter plays an important role in applying regularization to find the solutionto ill-posed inverse problems. We combine the generalized cross-validation (GCV) and L-curve criteria with the Twomey-NNLS algorithmin parameter optimization. 9Changes in global potential vegetation distributions from 1911 to 2000 as simulated by the Comprehensive Sequential Classification System approach显示文摘Vegetation classification models play an important role in studying the response of the terrestrial ecosystem to global climate change. In this paper, we study changes in global Potential Natural Vegetation (PNV) distributions using the Comprehensive Sequential Classification System (CSCS) approach, a technique that combines geographic information systems. Results indicate that on a global scale there are good agreements among maps produced by the CSCS method and the globally well-accepted Holdridge Life Zone (HLZ) and BIOME4 PNV models. The potential vegetation simulated by the CSCS approach has 6 major latitudinal zones in the northern hemisphere and 2 in the southern hemisphere. In mountainous areas it has obvious altitudinal distribution characteristics due to topographic effects. The distribution extent for different PNV classes at various periods has different characteristics. It had a decreasing trend for the tundra and alpine steppe, desert, sub-tropical forest and tropical forest categories, and an increasing trend for the temperate forest and grassland vegetation categories. The simulation of global CSCS-based PNV classes helps to understand climate-vegetation relationships and reveals the dynamics of potential vegetation distributions induced by global changes. 10Size distribution of chemical elements and their source apportionment in ambient coarse, fine, and ultrafine particles in Shanghai urban summer atmosphere显示文摘Ambient coarse particles (diameter 1.8-10 μm), fine particles (diameter 0.1-1.8 μm), and ultrafine particles (diameter < 0.1 μm) in the atmosphere of the city of Shanghai were sampled during the summer of 2008 (from Aug 27 to Sep 08). Microscopic characterization of the particles was investigated by scanning electron microscopy coupled with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM/EDX). Mass concentrations of Si, P, S, Cl, K, Ca, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, As, Se, Br, Rb, Sr, and Pb in the size-resolved particles were quantified by using synchrotron radiation X-ray fluorescence (SRXRF). Source apportionment of the chemical elements was analyzed by means of an enrichment factor method. Our results showed that the average mass concentrations of coarse particles, fine particles and ultrafine particles in the summer air were 9.38 ± 2.18, 8.82 ± 3.52, and 2.02 ± 0.41 μg/m3, respectively. The mass percentage of the fine particles accounted for 51.47% in the total mass of PM10, indicating that fine particles are the major component in the Shanghai ambient particles. SEM/EDX results showed that the coarse particles were dominated by minerals, fine particles by soot aggregates and fly ashes, and ultrafine particles by soot particles and unidentified particles. SRXRF results demonstrated that crustal elements were mainly distributed in the coarse particles, while heavy metals were in higher proportions in the fine particles. Source apportionment revealed that Si, K, Ca, Fe, Mn, Rb, and Sr were from crustal sources, and S, Cl, Cu, Zn, As, Se, Br, and Pb from anthropogenic sources. 14Sirtuin 1 alleviates endoplasmic reticulum stress-mediated apoptosis of intestinal epithelial cells in ulcerative colitis显示文摘BACKGROUND Sirtuin 1(SIRT1)is a nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(NAD+)-dependent protein deacetylase that is involved in various diseases,including cancers,metabolic diseases,and inflammation-associated diseases.However,the role of SIRT1 in ulcerative colitis(UC)is still confusing.AIM To investigate the role of SIRT1 in intestinal epithelial cells(IECs)in UC and further explore the underlying mechanisms.METHODS We developed a coculture model using macrophages and Caco-2 cells.After treatment with the SIRT1 activator SRT1720 or inhibitor nicotinamide(NAM),the expression of occludin and zona occludens 1(ZO-1)was assessed by Western blot analysis.Annexin V-APC/7-AAD assays were performed to evaluate Caco-2 apoptosis.Dextran sodium sulfate(DSS)-induced colitis mice were exposed to SRT1720 or NAM for 7 d.Transferase-mediated dUTP nick-end labeling(TUNEL)assays were conducted to assess apoptosis in colon tissues.The expression levels of glucose-regulated protein 78(GRP78),CCAAT/enhancerbinding protein homologous protein(CHOP),caspase-12,caspase-9,and caspase-3 in Caco-2 cells and the colon tissues of treated mice were examined by quantitative real-time PCR and Western blot.RESULTS SRT1720 treatment increased the protein levels of occludin and ZO-1 and inhibited Caco-2 apoptosis,whereas NAM administration caused the opposite effects.DSS-induced colitis mice treated with SRT1720 had a lower disease activity index(P<0.01),histological score(P<0.001),inflammatory cytokine levels(P<0.01),and apoptotic cell rate(P<0.01),while exposure to NAM caused the opposite effects.Moreover,SIRT1 activation reduced the expression levels of GRP78,CHOP,cleaved caspase-12,cleaved caspase-9,and cleaved caspase-3 in Caco-2 cells and the colon tissues of treated mice.CONCLUSION SIRT1 activation reduces apoptosis of IECs via the suppression of endoplasmic reticulum stress-mediated apoptosis-associated molecules CHOP and caspase-12.SIRT1 activation may be a potential therapeutic strategy for UC.Meng-Ting Ren Meng-Li Gu Xin-Xin Zhou Mo-Sang Yu Hang-Hai Pan Feng Ji Chen-Yan Ding 2019World Journal of Gastroenterology2019,25,38:20

20Pharmacokinetics of traditional Chinese syndrome and recipe:a hypothesis and its verification(Ⅰ)显示文摘AIM To propose a hypothesis defining theabsorption,distribution,metabolism andelimination of traditional Chinese recipe(TCR)-component in blood of healthy subjects andpatients,and estimate its correctness.METHODS The pharmacokinetics(PK)of samedose of drug was studied in the animal model oftraditional Chinese syndrome(S)and healthyanimals.The classification,terminology,concept and significance of the hypothesis wereset forth with evidence provided in the presentstudy.The hypotheses consisted of traditionalChinese syndrome PK(S-PK)and traditionalChinese recipe PK(R-PK).Firstly,the observedtetramethylpyrazine(TMP)PK in healthy,chronically reserpinized rats(rat model ofspleen deficiency syndrome,RMSDS)andRMSDS treated with Sijunzi decoction(SJZD)forconfirmation were used to verify S-PK; secondly,the ferulic acid(FA)PK in healthy andhigh molecular weight dextran(HMWD)-inducedrabbit model with blood stasis syndrome(RDBSS)was also used to verify S-PK;andlastly,TMP PK parameters in serum of healthyrats after orally taken Ligusticum wallichii(LW),LW and Salvia miltiorrhiza(LW&SM)decoctions were compared to verify R-PK.RESULTS The apparent first-order absorption[Ka,(13.61±2.56)h-1,area under the blooddrug concentration-time curve[AUC,(24.88±9.76)μg.h-1mL-1],maximum drug concentration[Cmax,(4.82±1.23)μg·mL-1]of serum TMP inRMSDS were increased markedly(P<0.05)compared with those[Ka=(5.41±1.91)h-1,AUC=(5.20±2.57)μg·h-1·mL-1,Cmax=(2.33±1.77)μg·mL-1]of healthy rats(HR).Theapparent first-order rate constant for α and βdistribution phase[α=(0.38±0.09)h-1,β=(0.06±0.03)h-1,the apparent first-orderintercompartmental transfer rate constants[K10=(0.24±0.07)h-1,K12=(0.11±0.02)h-1,K21=(0.11±0.02)h-1]of serum TMP in RMSDS weredecreased significantly(P<0.01)comparedwith those[K10=(0.88±0.20)h-1,K12=(1.45±0.47)h-1,K21=(0.72±0.22)h-1]of HR.However,no apparent differences occurredbetween HR and RMSDS treated with SJZD.Theserum FA concentration and its AUC[(5.6690±2.3541)μg·h-1·mL-1] in RMBSS were also higherthan those[AUC=(2.7566±0.8232)μg·h-1·mL-1]of healthy rabbits(P<0.05).The Ka(11.51±2.82)h-1,AUC(0.84±0.17)μg·h-1·mL-1of LW & SM-derived TMP in serum weremuch lower(P<0.05)than those[Ka=(19.58±4.14)h-1,AUC=(1.27±0.26)μg·h-1·mL-1]ofLW-derived TMP in serum after oral decoctions.CONCLUSION The SDS and blood stasissyndrome state could affect significantly thepharmacokinetic parameters of drugs and theabnormal SDS pharmacokinetic parameters couldbe normalized by SJZD.The combination ofChinese medicine in TCR could reciprocallyaffect the pharmacokinetic parameters of othercomponents absorbed into the systemiccirculation.These results support the S-and R-PK hypothesis.Xi Huang Ping Ren Ai Dong Wen Li Li Wang Li Zhang Feng Gao Laboratory of Clinical Pharmacology of Chinese Medicine,Xijing Hospital,The Fourth Military Medical University,Xi’an 710032,Shaanxi Province,China Department of Pharmacy,Xijing Hospital,The Fourth Military Medical University,Xi’an 710032,Shaanxi Province,China Department of Physiology,The Fourth Military Medical University,Xi’an 710032,Shaanxi Province,China 2000World Journal of Gastroenterology2000,6,3:16
