1Blockade of Tim-3 Pathway Ameliorates Interferon-γ Production from Hepatic CD8^+ T Cells in a Mouse Model of Hepatitis B Virus Infection显示文摘T cell immunoglobulin-and mucin-domain-containing molecule-3(Tim-3) has been reported to participate in the pathogenesis of inflammatory diseases. However,whether Tim-3 is involved in hepatitis B virus(HBV) infection remains unknown. Here,we studied the expression and function of Tim-3 in a hydrodynamics-based mouse model of HBV infection. A significant increase of Tim-3 expression on hepatic T lymphocytes,especially on CD8+ T cells,was demonstrated in HBV model mice from day 7 to day 18. After Tim-3 knockdown by specific shRNAs,significantly increased IFN-γ production from hepatic CD8+ T cells in HBV model mice was observed. Very interestingly,we found Tim-3 expression on CD8+ T cells was higher in HBV model mice with higher serum anti-HBs production. Moreover,Tim-3 knockdown influenced anti-HBs production in vivo. 4High throughput online sequential extraction of natural rare earth elements and determination by mass spectrometry显示文摘At the beginning of rare earth industry,several days are normally required for characterization of rare earth elements(REEs)fractionation in ore samples.Herein,rapid fractionation analysis of 15 REEs and accompanied metal(Fe,Mn,etc.)in ore samples has been achieved within 1 h using ICP-MS with a homemade device for online sequential solvent extraction.As a result,five fractionations for REEs occurrences,i.e.,water soluble,exchangeable,reducible,oxidizable and crystalline,have been identified,offering chemical insights which not only reveal the formation mechanism of REEs ores but also show great implications for guiding the exploitation and separation of REEs.In comparison with conventional methods,the present approach significantly shortened the analysis time(1 h vs.~80 h)and reduced the sample consumption(1.0 mg vs.5.0 g)with high recovery(>95%),providing a useful platform for the rapid quantitative fractionation analysis of REEs in complexed samples such as ore and fossils.Jiaquan Xu Faliang Li Fei Xia Tenggao Zhu Debo Wu Konstantin Chingin Huanwen Chen 2021Science China Chemistry2021,64,4:3
5Structure and Electrochemical Properties of A_2B_7-Type La-Mg-Ni Hydrogen Storage Alloys显示文摘Investigation of alloy structure shows that La 2-x MgxNi7(x=0.3~0.8) alloys are mainly composed of Ce2Ni7-type, Gd2Co7-type and PuNi3-type phase. The influence of Mg content in alloys on the phase structure is great, resulting in a linear decrease of the unit cell parameters of main phases and increase of hydrogen absorption/desorption plateau as Mg content increases. Electrochemical measurements show that as the Mg content increases, the discharge capacity of alloy electrodes first increases and then decreases. The cyclic stability presents a deteriorative trend, La 1.4 Mg 0.6 Ni7 alloy electrode exhibits the maximum electrochemical discharge capacity (378 mAh·g -1 ), and the La 1.6 Mg 0.4 Ni7 alloy electrode shows the best cyclic stability (S 270 =81%). The high rate dischargeability increases with the increase of Mg content. When the Mg content (x) is lower than 0.5, the rate-determining step of the electrode reaction is the diffusion of hydrogen in bulk. 6Guest selectivity in the supramolecular host networks fabricated by van der Waals force and hydrogen bond显示文摘Here, the structural transformations of H4ETTC induced by coronene (COR) and selective adsorption behaviors of COR in different templates were investigated by seanning tunnelling microscope (STM). It was discovered that the assembled architecture of H4ETTC at the HOPG/ heptanoic acid interface depended on the concentration of COR, and the clusters of COR were obtained in the kagome nanoporous network of H4ETTC molecules at a high concentration of COR solution. In addition, COR clusters can also be formed in the hexagonal porous structure of hexaphenylbenzene (HPB) molecules modified by alkyl chains at the HOPG/heptanoic acid interface. When both H4ETTC and HPB assembly structures, based on hydrogen bonding and van der Waals force respectively, were selected as the host templates, COR showed selectivity for HPB template to form HPB/COR hexagonal host-guest architecture.
