4冷藏运输用新型低温相变材料及装备的研制显示文摘本文将相变蓄冷技术应用于冷藏运输装备,以减少冷藏运输能耗及成本。利用凝固点降低原理,以丙三醇和氯化钠为原料,研制无毒低温相变材料。利用DSC测得其相变温度为-31.5℃,相变潜热为175.3 J/g。结果表明:该相变材料的密度为1.15 g/mL,导热系数为0.368 2 W/(m·K),经多次相变后化学性质稳定,属于基本无腐蚀范畴,可作为相变材料长期使用。在此基础上将其应用于蓄冷冷藏车,运行效果稳定。与机械冷藏车的经济性对比表明,虽然蓄冷冷藏车初投资较高,但制冷成本远低于机械冷藏车,静态回收期为0.57年且在废气排放、环保、节能及稳定性等方面优势明显。李靖 谢如鹤 刘广海 Alan Foster 2018制冷学报2018,39,4:23
5MODELING EPHEMERAL GULLY EROSION FOR CONSERVATION PLANNING显示文摘This paper discusses the overland flow and concentrated flow systems that occur in most farm fields. Concentrated flow areas, which are distinct from overland flow areas, can be a major sediment source and are the main conduits that convey runoff and sediment from most farm fields. Ephemeral gully erosion, which occurs in concentrated flow areas, is similar to but differs from both rill and classical gully erosion. Concentrated flow areas occupy much of the flow path between the end of overland flow areas and defined stream channels. This paper describes the erosion and deposition processes that occur in concentrated flow areas and the effect of soil and cover management on these processes. Ephemeral gully erosion is not estimated with rill-interrill erosion prediction methods, which can result in major errors in estimates of sediment yield leaving farm fields. Much deposition can occur in concentrated flow areas resulting in sediment load leaving a farm field being much less than the sediment produced by rill-interrill and ephemeral gully erosion within the field. This paper describes model structure, topographic representation, and features of ephemeral gully erosion control practices needed in mathematical models used in conservation planning for farm fields.George R. 6多温蓄冷车设计与车内温度场分析显示文摘为克服现有蓄冷车控温范围有限、不可多温共配等问题,设计了一款集车载制冷系统、独立蓄冷槽、隔热车厢(冷冻和冷藏单元)、导风槽、内隔板等于一体的多温蓄冷车。该多温蓄冷车将蓄冷槽安装在车厢前端并独立隔热保温。夜间利用低谷电对蓄冷槽内相变蓄冷材料进行充冷;当多温蓄冷运输时,冷冻单元通过车厢前端送风系统将冷能导出并调控,冷藏单元通过导风槽将冷气导入并调控。对车厢内冷冻冷藏单元体积比为1∶1,温度分别设定为-15. 0℃和3. 0℃工况进行了仿真和试验对比分析。研究表明,所构建的多温蓄冷车温度模拟值与试验值的均方根误差在0. 7~1. 1℃之间,总体偏差合理,可较好地反映多温蓄冷车内温度场分布状况。试验结果也表明,该多温蓄冷车车厢冷冻、冷藏单元可有效控温10 h以上,满足配送运输需要;平均温度分别在-14. 2~-12. 9℃和3. 4~4. 2℃间波动,波动范围分别为1. 3℃和0. 8℃,温度绝对不均匀度系数S在1. 2内,较传统蓄冷车平均温度波动值降低了73. 7%,S值降低了50%以上。改变车厢内冷冻冷藏单元体积比的进一步仿真也表明,蓄冷车内温度场分布仍然均匀,可满足实际运输需要。刘广海 吴俊章 FOSTER A 谢如鹤 唐海洋 屈睿瑰 2019农业机械学报2019,50,4:11
7Arsenobetaine and thio-arsenic species in marine macroalgae and herbivorous animals: Accumulated through trophic transfer or produced in situ?显示文摘Arsenobetaine(AB) and thio-arsenoribosides were measured in common macroalgae species(8 phaeophyta, 4 rhodophyta and 2 chlorphyta), along the Australian south east coast line. As well, arsenic species profiles were measured for two common marine herbivores, the sea urchin Centrostephanus rodgersii and the fish Odax cyanomelas that graze on these macroalgae to understand if trophic transfer of these species would account for their presence in marine herbivores. AB was found in seven of the fourteen macroalgae species investigated but does not contributed significantly to any of the macroalgae arsenic content(0.01-1.2 μg/g). AB was found in only two of the brown macroalgae and all the red and green macroalgae(with the exception of Corallina officinalis). Thio-arsenic species were found sporadically, but not in high concentrations in any of the macroalgae investigated.AB present in macroalgae is likely to be associated with epiphytic organisms while thio-arsenoribosides are likely to be produced by decaying parts of damaged macroalgae.A laboratory feeding experiment in which the herbivorous gastropod, Austrocochlea constricta, was fed macroalgae containing thio-arsenoribosides for a 24 hr period every three days showed that these are readily accumulated over a short period. Thio-arsenoribosides in herbivores are therefore probably obtained through trophic transfer. Some AB is also obtained through trophic transfer; however, the presence of trimethylated arsonioribosides,a hypothesized precursor of AB formation in herbivores, suggests that some AB is produced within herbivores from the transformation of arsenoribosides accumulated from their diet.Simon Foster William Maher 2016Journal of Environmental Sciences2016,28,11:10

9Two quantitative trait loci, Dw1 and Dw2, are primarily responsible for rootstock-induced dwarfing in apple显示文摘The apple dwarfing rootstock‘Malling9’(‘M9’)has been used worldwide both to reduce scion vigour and as a genetic source for breeding new rootstocks.Progeny of‘M9’segregate for rootstock-induced dwarfing of the scion,indicating that this trait is controlled by one or more genetic factors.A quantitative trait locus(QTL)analysis of a rootstock population derived from the cross between‘M9’בRobusta5’(non-dwarfing)and grafted with‘Braeburn’scions identified a major QTL(Dw1)on linkage group(LG)5,which exhibits a significant influence on dwarfing of the scion.A smaller-effect QTL affecting dwarfing(Dw2)was identified on LG11,and four minor-effect QTLs were found on LG6,LG9,LG10 and LG12.Phenotypic analysis indicates that the combination of Dw1 and Dw2 has the strongest influence on rootstock-induced dwarfing,and that Dw1 has a stronger effect than Dw2.Genetic markers linked to Dw1 and Dw2 were screened over 41 rootstock accessions that confer a range of effects on scion growth.The majority of the dwarfing and semi-dwarfing rootstock accessions screened carried marker alleles linked to Dw1 and Dw2.This suggests that most apple dwarfing rootstocks have been derived from the same genetic source.Toshi M Foster Jean-Marc Celton David Chagné D Stuart Tustin Susan E Gardiner 2015Horticulture Research2015,2,1:10
10Total pancreatectomy and islet autotransplantation: A decade nationwide analysis显示文摘AIM: To investigate outcomes and predictors of inhospital morbidity and mortality after total pancreatectomy(TP) and islet autotransplantation. METHODS: The nationwide inpatient sample(NIS) database was used to identify patients who underwent TP and islet autotransplantation(IAT) between 2002-2012 in the United States. Variables of interest were inherent variables of NIS database which included demographic data(age, sex, and race), comorbidities(such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and deficiency anemia), and admission type(elective vs nonelective). The primary endpoints were mortality and postoperative complications according to the ICD-9 diagnosis codes which were reported as the second to 25 th diagnosis of patients in the database. Risk adjusted analysis was performed to investigate morbidity predictors. Multivariate regression analysis was used to identify predictors of in-hospital morbidity.RESULTS: We evaluated a total of 923 patients who underwent IAT after pancreatectomy during 2002-2012. Among them, there were 754 patients who had TP + IAT. The most common indication ofsurgery was chronic pancreatitis(86%) followed by acute pancreatitis(12%). The number of patients undergoing TP + IAT annually significantly increased during the 11 years of study from 53 cases in 2002 to 155 cases in 2012. Overall mortality and morbidity of patients were 0% and 57.8 %, respectively. Postsurgical hypoinsulinemia was reported in 42.3% of patients, indicating that 57.7% of patients were insulin independent during hospitalization. Predictors of inhospital morbidity were obesity [adjusted odds ratio(AOR): 3.02, P = 0.01], fluid and electrolyte disorders(AOR: 2.71, P < 0.01), alcohol abuse(AOR: 2.63, P < 0.01), and weight loss(AOR: 2.43, P < 0.01). CONCLUSION: TP + IAT is a safe procedure with no mortality, acceptable morbidity, and achieved high rate of early insulin independence. 12Molecular regulation of sucrose catabolism and sugar transport for development~ defence and phloem function显示文摘Sucrose(Suc) is the major end product of photosynthesis in mesophyll cells of most vascular plants. It is loaded into phloem of mature leaves for long-distance translocation to non-photosynthetic organs where it is unloaded for diverse uses. Clearly,Suc transport and metabolism is central to plant growth and development and the functionality of the entire vascular system. Despite vast information in the literature about the physiological roles of individual sugar metabolic enzymes and transporters,there is a lack of systematic evaluation about their molecular regulation from transcriptional to post-translational levels.Knowledge on this topic is essential for understanding and improving plant development,optimizing resource distribution and increasing crop productivity. We therefore focused our analyses on molecular control of key players in Suc metabolism and transport,including:(i) the identification of promoter elements responsive to sugars and hormones or targeted by transcription factors and microRNAs degrading transcripts of target genes; and(ii)modulation of enzyme and transporter activities through protein-protein interactions and other post-translational modifications. 13GU-PCM2型控温式相变蓄冷冷藏车设计与空载性能试验显示文摘现有蓄冷冷藏车蓄冷装置多位于车厢顶部,存在重心偏高、不可控温等问题,基于此,该文设计了一款集相变蓄冷单元、车载制冷系统、隔热车厢、送风系统等于一体的GU-PCM2型蓄冷冷藏车。该蓄冷车将蓄冷装置独立设置于车厢前端并保温,系统利用夜间低谷电进行充冷,可在-25~10℃之间根据需要调控车厢温度。对蓄冷冷藏车厢设定温度为0和-18℃的2种工况进行空载温度场仿真与测试。结果表明,车厢内各测温点的模拟温度与实测温度均方根误差分别为0.7和0.8℃,最大绝对误差分别为1.1和1.2℃。冷藏车可有效控温10 h以上,车厢平均温度分别在1.1~2.9℃和-14.8~-16.9℃之间,波动范围为1.8和2.1℃,温度不均匀度系数在1.0以内。控温式蓄冷冷藏车与传统蓄冷车的对比试验结果表明,其平均温度波动值降低48.7%,温度绝对不均匀度系数降低50%以上,车厢质心较顶置式蓄冷车下降25.9%。研究结果可为蓄冷冷藏车的进一步优化设计与应用提供参考。刘广海 吴俊章 Alan Foster 谢如鹤 唐海洋 邹毅峰 屈睿瑰 2019农业工程学报2019,35,6:7

15Methods for studying tooth root cementum by light microscopy显示文摘The tooth root cementum is a thin,mineralized tissue covering the root dentin that is present primarily as acellular cementum on the cervical root and cellular cementum covering the apical root.While cementum shares many properties in common with bone and dentin,it is a unique mineralized tissue and acellular cementum is critical for attachment of the tooth to the surrounding periodontal ligament(PDL).Resources for methodologies for hard tissues often overlook cementum and approaches that may be of value for studying this tissue.To address this issue,this report offers detailed methodology,as well as comparisons of several histological and immunohistochemical stains available for imaging the cementum-PDL complex by light microscopy.Notably,the infrequently used Alcian blue stain with nuclear fast red counterstain provided utility in imaging cementum in mouse,porcine and human teeth.While no truly unique extracellular matrix markers have been identified to differentiate cementum from the other hard tissues,immunohistochemistry for detection of bone sialoprotein(BSP),osteopontin(OPN),and dentin matrix protein 1(DMP1) is a reliable approach for studying both acellular and cellular cementum and providing insight into developmental biology of these tissues.Histological and immunohistochemical approaches provide insight on developmental biology of cementum.Brian L Foster 2012International Journal of Oral Science2012,4,3:6

18Ionospheric longitudinal variations at midlatitudes: Incoherent scatter radar observation at Millstone Hill显示文摘Incoherent scatter radar (ISR) extra-wide coverage experiments during the period of 1978-2011 at Millstone Hill are used to investigate longitudinal differences in electron density. This work is motivated by a recent finding of the US east-west coast difference in TEC suggesting a combined effect of changing geomagnetic declination and zonal winds. The current study provides strong supporting evidence of the longitudinal change and the plausible mechanism by examining the climatology of electron density Ne on both east and west sides of the radar with a longitude separation of up to 40o for different heights within 300-450 km. Main findings include: 1) The east-west difference can be up to 60% and varies over the course of the day, being positive (East side Ne > West side Ne) in the late evening, and negative (West side Ne > East side Ne) in the pre-noon. 2) The east-west difference exists throughout the year. The positive (relative) difference is most pronounced in winter; the negative (relative) difference is most pronounced in early spring and later summer. 3) The east-west difference tends to enhance toward decreasing solar activity, however, with some seasonal dependence; the enhancements in the positive and negative differences do not take place simultaneously. 4) Both times of largest positive and largest negative east-west differences in Ne are earlier in summer and later in winter. The two times differ by 12-13 h, which remains constant throughout the year. 5) Variations at different heights from 300-450 km are similar. Zonal wind climatology above Millstone Hill is found to be perfectly consistent with what is expected based on the electron density difference between the east and west sides of the site. The magnetic declination-zonal wind mechanism is true for other longitude sectors as well, and may be used to understand longitudinal variations elsewhere.
