THEATMENT OF WASTEWATER FROM PRODUCTION PROCESS OF 2,3-ACID显示文摘Wastewater from production process of 2,3-acid was treated by adsorption usingmacroporous resin NDA-708. After only one-step treatment by resin adsorption, removalefficiency of three kinds of naphthalene chemicals was above 99%, removal efficiency ofCODcr was above 96% Under proper operating condition, desorption efficiency wasaround 100%. The running records of the industrial facility showed that the naphthlenechemicals in desorption effluent could be reused without obvious influence on the qualityOf the product. | FENG Wenguo ZHANG Quanxing CHEN Jinlong XU Zhaoyi PAN Bingcai SU Xing(Dept. of Environ. | 2 | Preparation and characterization of carbonyl iron/strontium hexaferrite magnetorheological fluids显示文摘The heat transfer oil-based magnetorheological fluid(MRF) was prepared using oleic acid-modified micron carbonyl iron powder as a magnetic dispersed phase and strontium hexaferrite(SrFe_(12)O_(19))nanoparticles as an additive. The sedimentation stability of MRFs was studied. The results indicated that the stability of MRFs was improved remarkably by adding SrFe_(12)O_(19) nanoparticles and the sedimentation ratio was only 0.88 in 20 days when the content of nanoparticles reached 10 wt%.The Theological properties were characterized by a HAAKE rheometer without a magnetic field and a capillary rheometer with and without a magnetic field. The effects of SrFe_(12)O_(19) nanoparticles, the temperature, and magnetic field strength were investigated. In addition, the rheological properties could be predicted well using the improved Herschel-Bulkley model, even under a magnetic field.A theoretical model was also proposed to predict the yield stress based on the microstructure of the MRF under an applied magnetic field. | Jianrong Liu Xianjun Wang Xia Tang Ruoyu Hong Yaqiong Wang Wenguo Feng | 2015 | Particuology2015,13,5: | 3

Changes in circulating inflammatory cells and the relationship to secondary brain injury in patients with craniocerebral injury显示文摘BACKGROUND:Recent studies have indicated that reactive encephalitis plays an important role in secondary tissue damage after craniocerebral injury. OBJECTIVE: To observe changes in white blood cells (WBC) and polymorphonuclear neutrophils (PMN) in peripheral blood, and to determine their role in secondary brain insult in patients with craniocerebral injury. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: A case-control study at the Department of Neurosurgery of the Affiliated Hospital North Sichuan University of Medical Sciences between August 2007 and May 2008. PARTICIPANTS: Sixty-three patients, admitted within 24 hours after craniocerebral injury and who received no surgery, were included in the study. The cohort consisted of 41 males and 22 females, aged 9–72 years, with an average age of 42 years. Ten healthy volunteers, selected from the Department of Neurosurgery, were designated as the control group. METHODS: WBC and PMN from the peripheral blood were measured 0, 24, 48, 72, and 168 hours after admission to hospital. The Glasgow coma scale, area of cerebral hemorrhage, and degree of brain edema were simultaneously determined. The Glasgow outcome scale was evaluated six months after injury. The relationship between changes in WBC and PMN were analyzed. Sixty-three patients were divided into 0, 24, 48, 72, and 168 hours groups, with admission time to hospital as the determining factor. As controls, WBC and PMN of peripheral blood were also detected in 10 healthy volunteers. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The main outcome measures were WBC and PMN counts in the peripheral blood at 0, 24, 48, 72, and 168 hours after admission to hospital, the mutual relationship between GCS, WBC and PMN, and changes in brain hemorrhage volume and edema size. RESULTS: WBC peaked at 24 hours after injury, and PMN peaked at 48 hours after injury (P < 0.01). These measures negatively correlated to the Glasgow coma scale (r = -0.657, -0.541, respectively, P < 0.05). In patients with Glasgow coma sale < 8, WBC and PMN were significantly higher than in the patients with GCS ≥ 8 (P < 0.05). Cerebral hemorrhage reached a peak at 24 hours after injury, and the degree of brain edema was maximal at 168 hours after injury. WBC and PMN counts were positively correlated to cerebral hemorrhage volume and brain edema size (P < 0.05). CONCLUSION: WBC and PMN counts significantly increased after craniocerebral injury and exhibited a correlation with the GCS score, volume of hemorrhage and edema, and Glasgow outcome scale. | Xiaoping Tang Tao Zhang Yuanchuan Wang Hua Peng Ling Feng Jian Qi Wenguo Tang Zhangyang Gou Dingyong Yu Renguo Luo | 2008 | Neural Regeneration Research2008,3,8: | 1
Changes in platelet parameters and secondary brain injury in acute craniocerebral trauma显示文摘Changes in platelet parameters are important in secondary brain injury in acute craniocerebral trauma. We selected 163 patients with craniocerebral trauma who were admitted within 24 hours with nonoperative therapy.Platelet parameters of 40 healthy subjects served as controls.Platelet number was decreased, while mean platelet volume and platelet distribution width values were increased,at 1 and 3 days after injury.Platelet number was lower and mean platelet volume and platelet distribution width were larger in patients with traumatic cerebral infarction and those in Glasgow Coma Scale score < 8 group.Platelet number was negatively correlated to volume of cerebral edema, but positively correlated to Glasgow Outcome Scale score. These data indicate that changes in platelet parameters may be utilized to indicate the state of central nervous system injury and patient prognosis. | Xiaoping Tang Chao You Hua Peng Tao Zhang Wenguo Tang Jian Qi Renguo Luo Yuanchuan Wang Ling Feng Zhangyang Gou Junwei Duan Shun Li | 2011 | Neural Regeneration Research2011,6,20: | 0
Comprehensive Metabolic Profiling and Genome-wide Analysis Reveal Therapeutic Modalities for Hepatocellular Carcinoma显示文摘Understanding the details of metabolic reprogramming in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is critical to improve stratification for therapy. Both multiomics analysis and cross-cohort validation were performed to investigate the metabolic dysregulation of 562 HCC patients from 4 cohorts. On the basis of the identified dynamic network biomarkers,227 substantial metabolic genes were identified and a total of 343 HCC patients were classified into 4 heterogeneous metabolic clusters with distinct metabolic characteristics:cluster 1,the pyruvate subtype, associated with upregulated pyruvate metabolism;cluster 2,the amino acid subtype, with dysregulated amino acid metabolism as the reference;cluster 3,the mixed subtype,in which lipid metabolism, amino acid metabolism, and glycan metabolism are dysregulated;and cluster 4,the glycolytic subtype, associated with the dysregulated carbohydrate metabolism. These 4 clusters showed distinct prognoses, clinical characteristics and immune cell infiltrations, which was further validated by genomic alterations, transcriptomics, metabolomics, and immune cell profiles in the other 3 independent cohorts.Besides, the sensitivity of different clusters to metabolic inhibitors varied depending on their metabolic features.Importantly, cluster 2 is rich in immune cells in tumor tissues, especially programmed cell death protein 1(PD-1)-expressing cells, which may be due to the tryptophan metabolism disorders, and potentially benefiting more from PD-1 treatment. In conclusion, our results suggest the metabolic heterogeneity of HCC and make it possible to treat HCC patients precisely and effectively on specific metabolic characteristics. | Feng Qi Jia Li Zhuoran Qi Jian Zhang Bin Zhou Biwei Yang Wenxing Qin Wenguo Cui Jinglin Xia | 2023 | Research2023,,3: | 0
The Mechanical Characteristics and Damage Model of Helan Mountain Rock based on Acoustic Emission显示文摘With the risk of disappearing for the rock paintings considering long-term exposure in Helan Mountain, the freeze-thaw(F-T)cycling experiments were carried out with 12-hour F-T cycling(0,10,20,30,and 40 F-T cycles)under five kinds of confining pressures(5,10,20,30,and 40 MPa).The acoustic emission(AE)detect technology was used to reveal the rock fracturing characteristics during the triaxial compression test whole process. The stress-strain relation changes along with different confining pressures and F-T cycles.Peak stress and residual stress changes along with different confining pressures and damages, and the variation of axial stress-AE ringing counts-time changes along with different confining pressures and F-T cycles. The damage variable with AE parameter under F-T and force coupling was defined for the first time, and the damages model was established. The experimental results show that the F-T cycles lead to the decrease of rock strength and the gradual transformation of compression failure mode from brittleness to plasticity. The confining pressure provides a certain ability to resist deformation and inhibit crack growth for rock samples after F-T cycles. The temporal and spatial evolution law of AE counts well corresponds to the loading and failure process of the rock samples. The AE 3D positioning technology can accurately capture the development position and direction of internal cracks and pores of rock, and the failure form is conical shear failure. The established damage model has a better fittingness between the theoretical calculation results and the test results, and is reasonable to be used in the future for protection of Helan Mountain rock painting. | 杨有贞 ZHAO Yishen MA Hailong CHEN Wenwu FENG Haiyan JIN Menghua LIN Qingqing MA Wenguo | 2021 | Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2021,36,6: | 0
