2Flexible and biocompatible high-performance solid-state micro-battery for implantable orthodontic system显示文摘To augment the quality of our life,fully compliant personalized advanced health-care electronic system is pivotal.One of the major requirements to implement such systems is a physically flexible high-performance biocompatible energy storage(battery).However,the status-quo options do not match all of these attributes simultaneously and we also lack in an effective integration strategy to integrate them in complex architecture such as orthodontic domain in human body.Here we show,a physically complaint lithium-ion micro-battery(236μg)with an unprecedented volumetric energy(the ratio of energy to device geometrical size)of 200 mWh/cm^(3) after 120 cycles of continuous operation.Our results of 90%viability test confirmed the battery’s biocompatibility.We also show seamless integration of the developed battery in an optoelectronic system embedded in a threedimensional printed smart dental brace.We foresee the resultant orthodontic system as a personalized advanced health-care application,which could serve in faster bone regeneration and enhanced enamel health-care protection and subsequently reducing the overall health-care cost.Arwa T.Kutbee Rabab R.Bahabry Kholod O.Alamoudi Mohamed T.Ghoneim Marlon D.Cordero Amani S.Almuslem Abdurrahman Gumus Elhadj M.Diallo Joanna M.Nassar Aftab M.Hussain Niveen M.Khashab Muhammad M.Hussain 2017npj Flexible Electronics2017,1,1:2

9Mapping surface water erosion potential in the Soummam watershed in Northeast Algeria with RUSLE model显示文摘The present study aims to estimate the annual soil loss in the Soummam watershed in the northeast of Algeria,using the Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation(RUSLE),geographic information system(GIS),and remote sensing(RS).RUSLE model has been used for modelling the main factors involved in erosive phenomena.The Soummam watershed covers a surface area of 9108.45 km^2 of irregular shape,northeast–southwest towards southeast.It is characterized by an altitude varying between 2 m in the northeast and 2308 m in the northwest.Results showed that the average erosivity factor(R)is 70.64(MJ·mm)/(ha·h·year)and the maximum value reaches 140(MJ·mm)/(ha·h·year),the average soil erodibility factor(K)is 0.016(t·h·ha)/(MJ·ha·mm)and maximum values reach 0.0204(t·h·ha)/(MJ·ha·mm)in the southeast regions of the watershed,the average slope length and steepness factor(LS)is 9.79 and the mean C factor is estimated to be 0.62.Thematic maps integration of different factors of RUSLE in GIS with their database,allowed with a rapid and efficient manner to highlight complexity and factors interdependence in the erosion risk analyses.The resulting map for soils losses,with an average erosion rate of 6.81 t/(ha·year)shows a low erosion(<7.41 t/(ha·year))which covers 73.46%of the total area of the basin,and a medium erosion(7.42 to 19.77 t/(ha·year)),which represents 17.66%of the area.Areas with extreme erosion risk exceeding 32.18 t/(ha·year)cover more than 3.54%of the basin area.The results can certainly aid in implementation of soil management and conservation practices to reduce the soil erosion in the Soummam watershed.Youcef SAHLI Elhadj MOKHTARI Belkacem MERZOUK Benoit LAIGNEL Christophe VIAL Khodir MADANI 2019Journal of Mountain Science2019,16,7:1

14Sizing and Simulation of a Hybrid Hydroelectricity and Photovoltaic System with Storage for Supplying the Tamagaly District in Mamou,Guinea显示文摘The present study is a contribution to the study of hybrid electric power conversion systems in rural areas.The approach adopted uses a methodology for analyzing the complementarity that exists between the two renewable energy potentials(solar and hydraulic)based on their daily,monthly and annual variations.The different analytical formulas for sizing a PV(photovoltaic)field and a small hydroelectric power station are recalled in this work.The HOMER software served as a tool for optimal sizing and simulation of the system.This work focuses on the analysis of the behavior and control of the performances of a hybrid system made up of two renewable energy sources,hydroelectricity/PV with a storage system and a converter.The main results obtained relate to:monitoring of the variation in temperature variation,solar irradiation of the site,as well as the flow of the watercourse.The profile of the village’s annual charges is known.The annual production of electrical energy is 527.936 kWh/year.The hydroelectric plant will provide 155.316 kWh/year,or 29%,and for the PV field(372.620 kWh/year),or 71%.The monthly energy average is 43.995 kWh/month.The average daily consumption is 731 kWh/d with a maximum power of 163 kW.The completion of this project makes it possible to cover all electrical loads in the Tamagaly district,with an annual energy production of 206.783 kWh.This would make it possible to locally limit greenhouse gas emissions in the area.Ansoumane Sakouvogui Elhadj Ousmane Camara NènèAïssata Baldeand Mamby Keita 2023Journal of Energy and Power Engineering2023,17,3:0
