| 2 | 松花粉对家猪粪便特性及肠道菌群的影响显示文摘目的:观察松花粉对家猪粪便特性及肠道菌群的影响。方法:9头雄性阉割猪,体重363kg,随机分为对照组(基础饲料,Ⅰ组)、麦麸添加组(基础饲料加3.5%麦麸,Ⅱ组)和松花粉添加组(基础饲料加3.5%松花粉,Ⅲ组),单笼饲养,用基础饲料喂养1w后,给予不同饲料2个周期、每个周期14d的代谢实验,测定肠道菌群和粪便特性参数。结果:三组动物饲料摄入量一致,但Ⅲ组日排出新鲜粪便量比Ⅰ组多1倍,比Ⅱ组多78%;粪便干重比Ⅰ组多64%,比Ⅱ组高52%;粪便含水量是Ⅰ组的2倍,Ⅱ组的2.16倍。Ⅲ组每日粪便中排出的甘油三酯是Ⅱ组的3.5倍、Ⅰ组的3倍;每日粪便排出胆固醇达735mg,是Ⅰ组的1.7倍、Ⅱ组的1.5倍;脂肪酸排出量为1506mg,而Ⅰ组和Ⅱ组分别为535mg和560mg;胆酸的排泄量也高于其他两组,且与Ⅱ组间有显著性差异。Ⅲ组粪便中粗蛋白、粗脂肪、各项含氮组分以及有关菌群(logCFUV/d)的排出量远高于其他两组。结论:松花粉对调整机体氮代谢、肠道菌群和抑制脂肪吸收有重要意义。 | 赵霖 W Windisch FX Roth K Eder | 2006 | 营养学报2006,28,3: | 10 |
| 3 | 松花粉对脂代谢影响的实验研究显示文摘目的:观察松花粉对家猪脂代谢的影响。方法:选用雄性阉割猪9头,体重(36±3)kg,随机分为3组:基础饲料组、松花粉添加组和麦麸添加组。分别饲养于单独的代谢笼中,先用普通饲料喂养1周,再给予不同饲料进行代谢实验,测定脂代谢的有关参数。结果:松花粉组粪便中甘油三酯浓度最高(7.43 mg/g),与其他两组差异显著,每日粪便排出的甘油三酯是麦麸组的3.5倍、基础饲料组的3倍。松花粉组粪便胆固醇浓度也名列第一,每日粪便排出胆固醇总量达735 mg,是基础饲料组(408 mg)的1.7倍、麦麸组(421 mg)的1.5倍。松花粉组每克粪便含脂肪酸总量为15.78 mg(基础饲料组和麦麸组分别为9.07 mg和8.81 mg),是基础饲料组的1.74倍,麦麸组的1.79倍;松花粉组粪便中每日脂肪酸排出总量为1 506 mg,基础饲料组和麦麸组分别为535 mg和560 mg。粪便中胆酸的排泄量松花粉组也高于其他两组,而且与麦麸组间有显著性差异。结论:食用添加3.5%松花粉饲料后不仅非常显著地增加了家猪粪便中甘油三酯、胆固醇及脂肪酸的排泄量,同时也促进了胆酸的排泄。这一性质对调整机体能量代谢和脂代谢,抑制脂肪的吸收具有重要意义。 | 赵霖 Windisch W Roth FX Eder K | 2006 | 军医进修学院学报2006,27,6: | 9 |

| 6 | Effects of supplementation of green tea extract on the milk performance of peripartal dairy cows and the expression of stress response genes in the liver显示文摘Background: We hypothesised that supplementation of green tea extract(GTE) in dairy cows during the transition period can attenuate proinflammatory conditions and prevent endoplasmic reticulum(ER) stress in the liver of these cows. Thirty Holstein cows with an average parity of 3.06(± 1.31, SD) were divided into a control group and a group that received a daily amount of 10 g of GTE from d 7 before the calving day and a daily amount of 20 g of GTE from the day of calving until d 7 of lactation.Results: Cows supplemented with GTE did not show differences in energy intake or milk yield in weeks 2–7 of lactation. However, these cows had a lower milk fat concentration and a lower energy corrected milk yield than the control cows and showed a trend of improved energy balance. The relative m RNA concentrations of proinflammatory genes, genes involved in the acute phase reaction and antioxidant genes in the liver in weeks 1, 4 and 7 of lactation were not different between the two groups of cows. The concentrations of α-tocopherol and the Trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity in plasma were not different between the two groups. However, the group supplemented with GTE showed significant reductions of some genes of the unfolded protein response(UPR) in week 1 and a trend of lower liver triacylglycerol(TAG) concentrations in the liver compared to the control group.Conclusions: This study shows that supplementation of GTE in dairy cows lowers the fat concentration in the milk but overall has no effect on the expression of inflammatory genes and the antioxidative status in dairy cows during early lactation. The finding of reduced m RNA levels of genes involved in the UPR at week 1, however, supports other results showing that supplementation of polyphenols could prevent the development of ER stress in the liver of cows during early lactation. | 8 | Cerium dioxide as a new reactive sorbent for fast degradation of parathion methyl and some other organophosphates显示文摘Cerium dioxide was used for the first time as reactive sorbent for the degradation of the organophosphate pesticides parathion methyl,chlorpyrifos,dichlofenthion,fenchlorphos,and prothiofos,as well as of some chemical warfare agents—nerve gases soman and O-ethyl S-[2-(diisopropylamino) ethyl] methylphosphonothioate(VX).CeO2 specimens were prepared by calcination of basic cerous carbonate obtained by precipitation from an aqueous solution.The CeO2 samples containing certain amounts(1 wt.%–5 wt.%) of the neighboring lanthanides(La,Pr,Nd) were prepared in a similar way from pure lanthanide salts.It was shown that ceria accelerated markedly the decomposition of parathion methyl causing the cleavage of the P-O-aryl bond in the pesticide molecule.A similar reaction mechanism was proposed for the degradation of other organophosphate pesticides and nerve agents.The degradation times(reaction half-times) were in an order of minutes in the presence of CeO2,compared to hours or days under common environmental conditions.The reaction in suitable organic solvents allowed conversions of about 90% for parathion methyl loading of 20 mg pesticide/g CeO2 within 2 h with a reactant half-life in the order of 0.1 min.The key parameter governing the degradation efficiency of CeO2 was the temperature during calcination.At optimum calcination temperature(about 773.15 K),the produced ceria retained a sufficiently high surface area,and attained an optimum degree of crystallinity(related to a number of crystal defects,and thus potential reactive sites).The presence of other lanthanides somewhat decreased the reaction rate,but this effect was not detrimental and permitted the possible use of chemically impure ceria as a reactive sorbent.A fast organophosphate degradation was demonstrated not only in non-polar solvents(such as heptane),but also in polar aprotic solvents(acetonitrile,acetone) that are miscible with water.This opens new possibilities for designing more versatile decontamination strategies.The cleavage of phosphate ester bonds is of a great importance not only for the degradation of dangerous chemicals(chemical weapons,pesticides),but also for interactions of ceria(especially the nano-sized one) in biologically relevant systems. | Pavel Janos Pavel Kuran Martin Kormunda Vaclav Stengl Tomas Matys Grygar Marek Dosek Martin Stastny Jakub Ederer Vera Pilarova Lubos Vrtoch | 2014 | Journal of Rare Earths2014,32,4: | 4 |
| 9 | Comprehensive evaluation of the metabolic effects of insect meal from Tenebrio molitor L.in growing pigs by transcriptomics, metabolomics and lipidomics显示文摘Background:The hypothesis was tested that insect meal(IM)as protein source influences intermediary metabolism of growing pigs.To test this,30 male,5-week-old crossbred pigs were randomly assigned to 3 groups of 10 pigs each with similar body weights(BW)and fed isonitrogenous diets either without(CON)or with 5%IM(IM5)or 10%IM(IM10)from Tenebrio molitor L.for 4 weeks and key metabolic tissues(liver,muscle,plasma)were analyzed using omics-techniques.Results:Most performance parameters did not differ across the groups,whereas ileal digestibilities of most amino acids were 6.7 to 15.6%-units lower in IM10 than in CON(P<0.05).Transcriptomics of liver and skeletal muscle revealed a total of 166 and 198,respectively,transcripts differentially expressed between IM10 and CON(P<0.05).Plasma metabolomics revealed higher concentrations of alanine,citrulline,glutamate,proline,serine,tyrosine and valine and a lower concentration of asparagine in IM10 than in CON(P<0.05).Only one out of fourteen quantifiable amino acid metabolites,namely methionine sulfoxide(MetS),in plasma was elevated by 45%and 71%in IM5 and IM10,respectively,compared to CON(P<0.05).Plasma concentrations of both,major carnitine/acylcarnitine species and bile acids were not different across groups.Lipidomics of liver and plasma demonstrated no differences in the concentrations of triacylglycerols,cholesterol and the main phospholipids,lysophospholipids and sphingolipids between groups.The percentages of all individual phosphatidylcholine(PC)and phosphatidylethanolamine(PE)species in the liver showed no differences between groups,except those with 6 double bonds(PC 38:6,PC 40:6,PE 38:6,PE 40:6),which were markedly lower in IM10 than in CON(P<0.05).In line with this,the percentage of C22:6n-3 in hepatic total lipids was lower in IM10 than in the other groups(P<0.05).Conclusions:Comprehensive analyzes of the transcriptome,lipidome and metabolome of key metabolic tissues indicate that partial or complete replacement of a conventional protein source by IM in the diet has only a weak impact on the intermediary metabolism of growing pigs.Thus,it is concluded that IM from Tenebrio molitor L.can be used as a dietary source of protein in pigs without causing adverse effects on metabolism. | Sandra Meyer Denise K.Gessner Maria S.Braune Theresa Friedhoff Erika Most Marcus Höring Gerhard Liebisch Holger Zorn Klaus Eder Robert Ringseis | 2020 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2020,11,2: | 4 |

In contrast to other pancreatic tumors,the solid-pseudopapillary tumor has a favorable prognosis.The 60-year-old female patient we report on here was treated by left pancreatic resection combined with splenectomy for a non-metastasizing tumor of the pancreas. A solid-pseudopapillary tumor was found on histology. The patient had no signs of metastases at present.Since a microscopically invasive tumor growth is assumed,oncologically curative resection should be preferred vs the less radical enucleation. | 11 | Sealing of the hepatic resection area using fibrin glue reduces significant amount of postoperative drain fluid显示文摘AIM: To investigate whether the routine use of fibrin glue applied onto the hepatic resection area can diminish postoperative volume of bloody or biliary fluids drained via intraoperatively placed perihepatic tubes and can thus lower the complication rate.METHODS: Two groups of consecutive patients with a comparable spectrum of recent hepatic resections were compared: (1) 13 patients who underwent application of fibrin glue immediately after resection of liver parenchyma;(2) 12 patients who did not. Volumes of postoperative drainage fluid were determined in 4-h intervals through 24 h indicating the intervention caused bloody and biliary segregation.RESULTS: Through the first 8 h postoperatively, there was a tendency of higher amounts of fluids in patients with no additional application of fibrin glue while through the following intervals, a significant increase of drainage volumes was documented in comparison with the first two 4-h intervals, e.g., after 12 h, 149.6 mL +/-110 mL vs 63.2 mL +/-78 mL. Using fibrin glue, postoperative fluid amounts were significantly lower through the postoperative observation period of 24 h (851 mL +/-715 mL vs 315 mL +/-305 mL).CONCLUSION: For hepatic resections, the use of fibrin glue appears to be advantageous in terms of a significant decrease of surgically associated segregation of blood or bile out of the resection area. | 16 | Scoping review on vector-borne diseases in urban areas:transmission dynamics,vectorial capacity and co-infection显示文摘Background:Transmission dynamics,vectorial capacity,and co-infections have substantial impacts on vector-borne diseases(VBDs)affecting urban and suburban populations.Reviewing key factors can provide insight into priority research areas and offer suggestions for potential interventions.Main body:Through a scoping review,we identify knowledge gaps on transmission dynamics,vectorial capacity,and co-infections regarding VBDs in urban areas.Peer-reviewed and grey literature published between 2000 and 2016 was searched.We screened abstracts and full texts to select studies.Using an extraction grid,we retrieved general data,results,lessons learned and recommendations,future research avenues,and practice implications.We classified studies by VBD and country/continent and identified relevant knowledge gaps.Of 773 articles selected for full-text screening,50 were included in the review:23 based on research in the Americas,15 in Asia,10 in Africa,and one each in Europe and Australia.The largest body of evidence concerning VBD epidemiology in urban areas concerned dengue and malaria.Other arboviruses covered included chikungunya and West Nile virus,other parasitic diseases such as leishmaniasis and trypanosomiasis,and bacterial rickettsiosis and plague.Most articles retrieved in our review combined transmission dynamics and vectorial capacity;only two combined transmission dynamics and co-infection.The review identified significant knowledge gaps on the role of asymptomatic individuals,the effects of co-infection and other host factors,and the impacts of climatic,environmental,and socioeconomic factors on VBD transmission in urban areas.Limitations included the trade-off from narrowing the search strategy(missing out on classical modelling studies),a lack of studies on co-infections,most studies being only descriptive,and few offering concrete public health recommendations.More research is needed on transmission risk in homes and workplaces,given increasingly dynamic and mobile populations.The lack of studies on co-infection hampers monitoring of infections transmitted by the same vector.Conclusions:Strengthening VBD surveillance and control,particularly in asymptomatic cases and mobile populations,as well as using early warning tools to predict increasing transmission,were key strategies identified for public health policy and practice. | Marcus Eder Fanny Cortes Noemia Teixeira de Siqueira Filha Giovanny Vinicius Araujo de Franca Stephanie Degroote Cynthia Braga Valery Ridde Celina Maria Turchi Martelli | 2018 | Infectious Diseases of Poverty2018,7,1: | 2 |

It was their feeling that globally the geosciences did not get that part of public recognition that geosciences should earn, compared to ecology, economy, sustainable development and environmental sciences at large. They were convinced that geosciences could contribute much more to the well-being of the human society if the available knowledge of geoscientists would be used wisely. The low awareness of the benefits of geosciences to society in the public and at the level of politicians and decision-makers, created a long-lasting and continuing decrease of financial means which was and still is crucial for the decrease in the absolute number of geoscience projects, the reduction of respective university institutes, the closing of federal or state geological surveys or merging them with other institutions, and by such reducing the possibility of immediate impact and action, and, last, but not least, in a decreasing number of university students in geosciences. From the beginning of the considerations it was evident that the YEAR must combine science and outreach components in a balanced way.
