| 2 | Configuration Selection for Reconfigurable Manufacturing Systems by Means of Characteristic State Space显示文摘The configuration selection for reconfigurable manufacturing systems(RMS) have been tackled in a number of studies by using analytical or simulation models. The simulation models are usually based on fewer assumptions than the analytical models and therefore are more wildly used in modeling complex RMS. But in the absence of an efficient gradient analysis method of the objective function, it is time-consuming in solving large-scale problems by using a simulation model coupled with a meta-heuristics algorithm. In this paper, a new approach by means of characteristic state space is presented to improve the efficiency of the configuration selection for an RMS. First, a characteristic state equation is set up to represent the input and the output resources of each basic activity in an RMS. A production process model in terms of matrix equations is established by iterating the equations of basic activities according to the resource flows. This model introduces the production process into a characteristic state space for further analysis. Second, the properties of the characteristic state space are presented. On the basis of these properties, the configuration selection in an RMS is considered as a path-planning problem, and the gradient of the objective function is computed. Modified simulated annealing(SA) is also presented, in which neighborhood generation is guided by the gradient to accelerate convergence and reduce the run time of the optimization procedure. Finally, several case studies on the configuration selection for some actual reconfigurable assembly job-shops are presented and compared to the classical SA. The comparison shows relatively positive results. | 3 | Correlation between antioxidant depletion kinetic model and ageing behaviour of cross-linked polyethylene cable insulation显示文摘A concise kinetic model catering for the antioxidant reaction of thermally aged crosslinked polyethylene(XLPE)cable insulation before its abrupt performance deterioration is proposed for life prediction and condition assessment.The alternating current breakdown strength,elongation at break,carbonyl index,and pyrolysis activation energy of XLPE insulation are found to consistently display an abrupt change at a certain point of ageing time.This is strongly correlated to the depletion of the antioxidant whose content gradually decreases with ageing time and drops to a critical value,after which the abrupt degradation of the above macroscopic performances happens.Based on the simplified chain reactions of XLPE during thermal-oxidative ageing,a concise kinetic model about antioxidant prediction is accordingly established by solving the chemical kinetics equations.It indicates that the antioxidant content decays with the reciprocal of time before the abrupt degradation occurs.Results of antioxidant content predicted by the kinetic model at different temperatures matches well with the experimental results,and its reliability can also be proved by the Arrhenius relationship of the obtained results.The kinetic model proposed herein demonstrates satisfying conciseness and thus can be highly feasible in ageing condition assessment and life predicting of XLPE insulation. | Yingying Zheng Yiwei Long Delun Yi Haoran Zhang Jian Gao Kangning Wu Jianying Li | 2023 | High Voltage2023,8,2: | 2 |

| 6 | Pre-deformation for Assembly Performance of Machine Centers显示文摘The current research of machine center accuracy in workspace mainly focuses on the poor geometric error subjected to thermal and gravity load while in operation,however,there are little researches focusing on the effect of machine center elastic deformations on workspace volume.Therefore,a method called pre-deformation for assembly performance is presented.This method is technically based on the characteristics of machine tool assembly and collaborative computer-aided engineering(CAE)analysis.The research goal is to enhance assembly performance,including straightness,positioning,and angular errors,to realize the precision of the machine tool design.A vertical machine center is taken as an example to illustrate the proposed method.The concept of travel error is defined to obtain the law of the guide surface.The machine center assembly performance is analyzed under cold condition and thermal balance condition to establish the function of pre-deformation.Then,the guide surface in normal direction is processed with the pre-deformation function,and the machine tool assembly performance is measured using a laser interferometer.The measuring results show that the straightness deviation of the Z component in the Y-direction is 158.9%of the allowable value primarily because of the gravity of the spindle head,and the straightness of the X and Y components is minimal.When the machine tool is processed in pre-deformation,the straightness of the Z axis moving component is reduced to 91.2%.This research proposes a pre-deformation machine center assembly method which has sufficient capacity to improving assembly accuracy of machine centers. | SUN Yongping WANG Delun DONG Huimin XUE Runiu YU Shudong | 2014 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2014,27,3: | 2 |

| 8 | Kinematic Geometry for the Saddle Line Fitting of Planar Discrete Positions显示文摘The position synthesis of planar linkages is to locate the center point of the moving joint on a rigid link, whose trajectory is a circle or a straight line. Utilizing the min-max optimization scheme, the fitting curve needs to minimize the maximum fitting error to acquire the dimension of a planar binary P-R link. Based on the saddle point programming, the fitting straight line is determined to the planar discrete point-path traced by the point of the rigid body in planar motion. The property and evolution of the defined saddle line error can be revealed from three given separate points. A quartic algebraic equation relating the fitting error and the coordinates is derived, which agrees with the classical theory. The effect of the fourth point is discussed in three cases through the constraint equations. The multi-position saddle line error is obtained by combination and comparison from the saddle point programming. Several examples are presented to illustrate the solution process for the saddle line error of the moving plane. The saddle line error surface and the contour map presented to show the variations of the fitting error in the fixed frame. The discrete kinematic geometry is then set up to disclose the relations of the separate positions of the rigid body, the location of the tracing point on the moving body, and the position and orientation of the saddle line to the point-path. | 9 | Preparation,structural characterization and bioactivities of polysaccharides from mulberry(Mori Fructus)显示文摘Mulberry(Mori Fructus),a highly promising functional food,has long exhibited multiple therapeutic effects as a tonic in traditional Chinese food and pharmacology.Polysaccharides have been regarded as the pivotal pharmacological ingredient in mulberry.In this study,structural characterization and bioactivities of polysaccharides from mulberry(PFM-3)were determined.The results showed that PFM-3 was a pyranose containing carboxyl group,which was mainly composed of glucose(Glc)and a small amount of mannose(Man)and fucose(Fuc).The molecular weight of PFM-3 was 96.17 kDa,and the surface of PFM-3 was compact and uniform crack.PFM-3 markedly decreased lipid accumulation,triglyceride(TG)and low density lipoprotein cholesterin(LDL-C)on hyperlipidemia human hepatocellular carcinoma(HepG2)cells.PFM-3 recovered nuclear morphometry and mitochondrial membrane potential(MMP),enhanced the activity of glutathione peroxidase(GPx)and decreased cell arrest in G2 phase on oxidative stress HepG2 cells.In addition,PFM-3 promoted the decline of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and the augment of interleukin-10(IL-10)secretion on inflammatory mouse leukemia cells of monocyte macrophage(RAW 264.7).This work provides a certificate that PFM-3 could markedly improve cellular lipid accumulation,endogenous antioxidant defense capacity and inflammation levels to further use for treatment and amelioration of related diseases. | Yumeng Liu Yiming Liu Delun Mu Hui Yang Ying Feng Ruiqin Ji Rina Wu Junrui Wu | 2022 | Food Bioscience2022,46,2: | 1 |

| 17 | Beta Distribution of Surface Elevation of Random Waves显示文摘A probability density function (PDF) is derived of beta distribution with both λ3 (skewness) and λ4 (kurtosis) as parameters for weakly nonlinear wave surface elevation by use of a method recently proposed by Srokosz. This PDF not only has a simpler form than the well-known Gram-Charlier Series PDF derived by Longuet-Higgins, but also overcomes an obvious shortcoming of the latter that when the series is unsuitably truncated, the resulting PDF is locally negative. To test the derived beta PDF, laboratorial experiments of wind waves are conducted. The experimental data indicate that the theoretical requirements of the parameters in the beta PDF are fulfilled.
