| 2 | A study on JA-and BTH-induced resistance of Rosa rugosa‘Plena’to powdery mildew(Sphaerotheca pannosa)显示文摘Different concentrations of jasmonic acid(JA)and benzothiadiazole(BTH) were sprayed on 2-year-old Rosa rugosa‘Plena’ seedlings. The induced resistance of JA and BTH to Sphaerotheca pannosa(Wallr.) and the changes of their related physiological indices were investigated. Results showed that JA and BTH treatments had inhibitory impacts on S. pannosa infection. The optimal concentration of JA and BTH was 0.5 mmol/L for the disease-resistance induction of the leaves, its inductive effect was up to 66.36% for BTH and 54.49% for JA. Our results confirmed that exogenous JA and BTH significantly improved R. rugose ‘Plena’ resistance to S. pannosa. When treated with JA and BTH, activities of the three defense enzymes(POD, PPO, and PAL) increased significantly.Contents of total phenolics, flavonoids, and lignin also increased significantly. | 3 | Substance P and calcitonin gene-related peptide expression in dorsal root ganglia in sciatic nerve injury rats显示文摘The neuropeptides,substance P and calcitonin gene-related peptide,have been shown to be involved in pain transmission and repair of sciatic nerve injury.A model of sciatic nerve defect was prepared by dissecting the sciatic nerve at the middle,left femur in female Sprague Dawley rats.The two ends of the nerve were encased in a silica gel tube.L 5 dorsal root ganglia were harvested 7,14 and 28 days post sciatic nerve injury for immunohistochemical staining.Results showed that substance P and calcitonin gene-related peptide expression increased significantly in dorsal root ganglion of rats with sciatic nerve injury.This increase peaked at 7 days,declined at 14 days,and reduced to normal levels by 28 days post injury.The findings indicate that the neuropeptides,substance P and calcitonin gene- related peptide,mainly increased in the early stages after sciatic nerve injury. | Changma Fu Zongsheng Yin Defu Yu Zuhua Yang | 2013 | Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,33: | 4 |

| 12 | Oral administration of Moringa oleifera leaf powder relieves oxidative stress,modulates mucosal immune response and cecal microbiota after exposure to heat stress in New Zealand White rabbits显示文摘Background:Heat stress(HS)disrupts the gut barrier allowing the uptake of lipopolysaccharide(LPS)and leads to an inflammatory response and changes in gut microbiota composition.Moringa oleifera leaf powder(MOLP)has been proposed to combat HS,yet its alleviate role is currently under investigation.The current study investigated the effects of chronic HS and MOLP supplementation on changes in redox status and immune response of cecal mucosa along with alteration in cecal microbiota.Methods:A total of 21 young New Zealand White(NZW)rabbits(male)about 32 weeks old(mean body weight of 3318±171 g)reared on a commercial pelleted diet were employed;divided into three groups(n=7):control(CON,25°C),heat stress(HS,35°C for 7 h daily),and HS supplemented orally with MOLP(HSM,35°C)at 200 mg/kg body weight per day for 4 weeks.Results:The results demonstrated that MOLP supplementation increased organ index of cecal tissue compared with the HS group(P>0.05).Levels of malonaldehyde(MDA)and activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD)as well as lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)were reduced in the cecal mucosa of the HSM group compared with the HS group.MOLP downregulated the contents of cecal mucosa LPS,several inflammatory markers(TNF-α/IL-1α/IL-1β),and myeloperoxidase(MPO)in the HSM group(P<0.05).Secretory immunoglobulin A(SIgA)was increased in the HSM group compared with the HS group(P<0.05).The transcriptome of cecal mucosa showed that MOLP reduced gene expression relative to several immune factors,including IL-10,IFNG,and RLA,whereas both HS and MOLP increased the gene expression of fat digestion and absorption pathway,including APOA1,FABP1,FABP2,MTTP,andLOC100344166,compared to the CON group(P<0.001).At the phylum level,the relative abundance of Proteobacteria was increased by HS,while Actinobacteria was significantly increased by HSM compared to other groups(P<0.05).At genus level,Papillibacter was higher in abundance in HSM groups compared to CON and HS groups(P<0.05).Higher butyrate concentrations were observed in the HSM group than HS and CON groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:In conclusion,HS in growing rabbits resulted in alteration of cecal microbiota at phyla level as well as increased oxidative stress and expression of mucosal inflammatory genes.Whereas,oral MOLP supplementation elevated the relative weight of cecum,affected their immunological and cecal micro-ecosystem function by improving antioxidant status and down-regulating mucosal tissue inflammatory response. | Talat Bilal Yasoob Defu Yu Abdur Rauf Khalid Zhen Zhang Xiaofeng Zhu Heba M.Saad Suqin Hang | 2021 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2021,12,4: | 0 |
| 13 | Rock mass quality classification based on deep learning:A feasibility study for stacked autoencoders显示文摘Objective and accurate evaluation of rock mass quality classification is the prerequisite for reliable sta-bility assessment.To develop a tool that can deliver quick and accurate evaluation of rock mass quality,a deep learning approach is developed,which uses stacked autoencoders(SAEs)with several autoencoders and a softmax net layer.Ten rock parameters of rock mass rating(RMR)system are calibrated in this model.The model is trained using 75%of the total database for training sample data.The SAEs trained model achieves a nearly 100%prediction accuracy.For comparison,other different models are also trained with the same dataset,using artificial neural network(ANN)and radial basis function(RBF).The results show that the SAEs classify all test samples correctly while the rating accuracies of ANN and RBF are 97.5%and 98.7%,repectively,which are calculated from the confusion matrix.Moreover,this model is further employed to predict the slope risk level of an abandoned quarry.The proposed approach using SAEs,or deep learning in general,is more objective and more accurate and requires less human inter-vention.The findings presented here shall shed light for engineers/researchers interested in analyzing rock mass classification criteria or performing field investigation. | Danjie Sheng Jin Yu Fei Tan Defu Tong Tianjun Yan Jiahe Lv | 2023 | Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2023,15,7: | 0 |
