1Satellite lithium-ion battery remaining useful life estimation with an iterative updated RVM fused with the KF algorithm显示文摘Lithium-ion batteries have become the third-generation space batteries and are widely utilized in a series of spacecraft.Remaining Useful Life(RUL) estimation is essential to a spacecraft as the battery is a critical part and determines the lifetime and reliability.The Relevance Vector Machine(RVM) is a data-driven algorithm used to estimate a battery's RUL due to its sparse feature and uncertainty management capability.Especially, some of the regressive cases indicate that the RVM can obtain a better short-term prediction performance rather than long-term prediction.As a nonlinear kernel learning algorithm, the coefficient matrix and relevance vectors are fixed once the RVM training is conducted.Moreover, the RVM can be simply influenced by the noise with the training data.Thus, this work proposes an iterative updated approach to improve the long-term prediction performance for a battery's RUL prediction.Firstly, when a new estimator is output by the RVM, the Kalman filter is applied to optimize this estimator with a physical degradation model.Then, this optimized estimator is added into the training set as an on-line sample, the RVM model is re-trained, and the coefficient matrix and relevance vectors can be dynamically adjusted to make next iterative prediction.Experimental results with a commercial battery test data set and a satellite battery data set both indicate that the proposed method can achieve a better performance for RUL estimation.Yuchen SONG Datong LIU Yandong HOU Jinxiang YU Yu PENG 2018Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2018,31,1:29
2Power-balancing Instantaneous Optimization Energy Management for a Novel Series-parallel Hybrid Electric Bus显示文摘Energy management(EM) is a core technique of hybrid electric bus(HEB) in order to advance fuel economy performance optimization and is unique for the corresponding configuration. There are existing algorithms of control strategy seldom take battery power management into account with international combustion engine power management. In this paper, a type of power-balancing instantaneous optimization(PBIO) energy management control strategy is proposed for a novel series-parallel hybrid electric bus. According to the characteristic of the novel series-parallel architecture, the switching boundary condition between series and parallel mode as well as the control rules of the power-balancing strategy are developed. The equivalent fuel model of battery is implemented and combined with the fuel of engine to constitute the objective function which is to minimize the fuel consumption at each sampled time and to coordinate the power distribution in real-time between the engine and battery. To validate the proposed strategy effective and reasonable, a forward model is built based on Matlab/Simulink for the simulation and the dSPACE autobox is applied to act as a controller for hardware in-the-loop integrated with bench test. Both the results of simulation and hardware-in-the-loop demonstrate that the proposed strategy not only enable to sustain the battery SOC within its operational range and keep the engine operation point locating the peak efficiency region, but also the fuel economy of series-parallel hybrid electric bus(SPHEB) dramatically advanced up to 30.73% via comparing with the prototype bus and a similar improvement for PBIO strategy relative to rule-based strategy, the reduction of fuel consumption is up to 12.38%. 3Warming effects on plant biomass allocation and correlations with the soil environment in an alpine meadow,China显示文摘Alpine meadow ecosystem is fragile and highly sensitive to climate change.An understanding of the allocation of above-and below-ground plant biomass and correlations with environmental factors in alpine meadow ecosystem can result in better protection and effective utilization of alpine meadow vegetation.We chose an alpine meadow in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau of China as the study area and designed experimental warming plots using a randomized block experimental design.We used single-tube infrared radiators as warming devices,established the warming treatments,and measured plant above- (AGB) and below-ground biomass (BGB) during the growing seasons (May to September) in 2012 and 2013.We determined the allocation of biomass and the relationship between biomass and soil environment under the warming treatment.Biomass indices including above-ground biomass,below-ground biomass and the ratio of root to shoot (R/S) ,and soil factors including soil moisture and soil temperature at different depths were measured.The results showed that (1) BGB of the alpine meadow had the most significant allometric correlation with its AGB (y=298.7x~ (0.44) ,P<0.001) ,but the relationship decreased under warming treatment and the determination coefficient of the functional equation was 0.102 which was less than that of 0.188 of the unwarming treatment (control) ; (2) BGB increased,especially in the deeper soil layers under warming treatment (P>0.05) .At 0–10 cm soil depth,the percentages of BGB under warming treatment were smaller than those of the control treatment with the decreases being 8.52% and 8.23% in 2012 and 2013,respectively.However,the BGB increased 2.13% and 2.06% in 2012 and 2013,respectively,at 10–50 cm soil depths; (3) BGB had significant positive correlations with soil moisture at 100 cm depth and with soil temperature at 20–100 cm depths (P<0.05) ,but the mean correlation coefficient of soil temperature was 0.354,greater than the 0.245 of soil moisture.R/S ratio had a significant negative correlation with soil temperature at 20 cm depth (P<0.05) .The warmer soil temperatures in shallow layers increased the biomass allocation to above-ground plant parts,which leading to the increase in AGB;whereas the enhanced thawing of frozen soil in deep layers causing by warming treatment produced more moisture that affected plant biomass allocation.XU Manhou LIU Min XUE Xian ZHAI Datong 2016Journal of Arid Land2016,8,5:12

5Microstructure and tensile behavior of hot extruded AZ91 alloys at room temperature显示文摘AZ91 alloys were prepared by hot extrusion and its microstructure and tensile behavior at room temperature were investigated. Compared to as-cast ingot, the grain size of hot-extruded material is morerefined, the intermetallic phase Mg17Al12 is broken and dispersed discontinuously. Both strength and elongation of AZ91 are improved by hotextrusion. Tensile behavior and fracture surface of the experimental material were studied. Due to the change in microstructure, the fracture mechanism of extruded material is different from that of as-cast ingot, the latter is mainly a brittle fracture. 8Microstructures and tensile properties of submerged friction stir processed AZ91 magnesium alloy显示文摘6 mm thick AZ91 casting alloy plates were subjected to normal friction stir processing(NFSP,in air)and submerged friction stir processing(SFSP,under water),and microstructures and tensile properties of the experimental materials were investigated.After FSP,the coarse microstructures in the as-cast condition are replaced by fine and equiaxed grains and the network-like eutecticβ-Mg_(17)Al_(12)phases disappear and are changed into particles pinned at the grain boundaries.SFSP results in further grain refinement in comparison with NFSP,and the average grain sizes of the NFSP and SFSP alloys are 8.4±1.3 and 2.8±0.8µm,respectively.XRD results reveal that the intensity ofβ-Mg_(17)Al_(12)diffraction peaks in the SFSP specimen decreases compared with NFSP.Due to significant grain refinement,the tensile strength and elongation of the SFSP AZ91 alloy are increased from 262 MPa and 18.9%for the NFSP material to 282 MPa and 25.4%,and the tensile strength(282 MPa)is nearly three times that of the BM(105 MPa).SFSP is an effective approach to refine the grain size and enhance the tensile properties of AZ91 casting alloy.Fang Chai Datong Zhang Yuanyuan Li 2015Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2015,3,3:7

Under the condition that the total energy and angular momentum of spacetime are conservative, but angular momentum a = J/M of unit mass of the black hole is variable, taking into consideration the reaction of the radiation of the particle to the spacetime, a new Tortoise coordinate transformation and discuss the black hole radiation spectrum is discussed. 12Effect of microstructure on the mechanical and corrosion behaviors of a hot-extruded nickel aluminum bronze显示文摘In this paper,the influence of microstructure on the corrosion behavior of a hotextruded nickel aluminum bronze was studied.Three kinds of samples subjected to the hot-extrusion,annealing and quenching conditions were prepared and immersion tests in 3.5% NaCl solution were carried out.Microstructures and corrosion surface morphologies of the samples were observed by SEM.It was found that the retained β martensite and(α+κⅢ) lamella eutectoid in the as hot-extruded material were eliminated after annealing,and corrosion resistance of the alloy was improved.As to the as-quenched material,its corrosion rate was higher than that of the as hotextruded material since the volume fraction of β phase which was anodic to α phase increased after quenching.As regards the mechanical properties,the as-quenched sample possesses the highest hardness and tensile strength among the three kinds of samples,while the as-annealed sample possesses the highest elongation.That is to say,heat treatment plays different roles in the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of the experimental alloy.Datong ZHANG Ruiping CHEN Weiwen ZHANG Zongqiang LUO Yuanyuan LI 2010Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2010,23,2:5
13Tests for nonparametric parts on partially linear single index models显示文摘Tests for nonparametric parts on partially linear single index models are considered in this paper. Based on the estimates obtained by the local linear method, the generalized likelihood ratio tests for the models are established. Under the null hypotheses the normalized tests follow asymptotically the χ2-distribution with the scale constants and the degrees of freedom being independent of the nuisance parameters, which is called the Wilks phenomenon. 16Photochemical properties and source of pollutants during continuous pollution episodes in Beijing, October, 2011显示文摘Beijing sufered from serious air pollution in October, 2011 with the occurrence of three continuous episodes. Here we analyze the pollution status of particulate matter, the relationship between the gaseous pollutants, physical and chemical properties of single particles, and the profile of watersoluble ions in PM2.5during the three episodes. Regional and photochemically aged air masses, which were characterized as having high values of O3and SO2, were hypothesized to have played a dominant role in the first episode. After mixing local air masses with freshly-emitted primary pollutants, the concentration of NOx continued to increase and the size of SO4 2, NO3 and NH4 +in the particle population continued to become smaller. The amount of elemental carbon-rich and organic carbonrich particles in the scaled single particles(0.2–2 μm) and water-soluble K+in PM2.5also increased in the episodes. 18Integrated Control Strategy for CVT Powertrains with Consideration of Vehicle Drivability显示文摘During shift,power flow is not interrupted in powertrains equipped with continuously variable transmission(CVT).When hard acceleration is commanded,engine speed will flare and corresponding torque will be consumed,which leads to a drop in vehicle drive torque and also the vehicle acceleration.This is the reason why CVT vehicles have poor drivability during hard acceleration maneuver.Conventional method such as torque compensation doesn't always work due to the limited backup torque of engine.According to this,means to evaluate the drivability of CVT vehicles are studied,affect factors of drivability are analyzed in detail.Hard acceleration process of CVT vehicle is studied by theoretical analysis,based on which engine torque and ratio change rate of CVT are identified as two key control parameters that decide the drivability of CVT vehicles during hard acceleration maneuver.Therefore,a control strategy based on restricting the change rate of CVT ratio together with torque compensation is proposed,and two different algorithms to establish the limitation of ratio change rate are proposed.These two algorithms are simulated and compared with each other,results indicate that drop of vehicle acceleration is eliminated evidently by limit the change rate of CVT ratio,but small ratio change rate also results in a longer time to finish the accelerate process,an algorithm to decide a proper ratio change rate is needed in order to tune these different characteristics.In order to get better control effects,a new fuzzy logic based algorithm is proposed to decide a proper ratio change rate during kick down conditions,simulation and experiment results indicate that,the amount of vehicle acceleration decrease is reduced from about 1 m/s2 to almost 0,in the mean time the accelerate process only delayed for about 0.3 s.The proposed control strategy and algorithm can effectively tune the characteristics of CVT equipped vehicle during kick down conditions.SUN Dongye LUO Yong QIN Datong 2012Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2012,25,3:3
