| 1 | Photocatalytic remediation of ionic pollutant显示文摘Recently, the photocatalysts have attracted lots of attention and efforts due to their great potential for environmental remediation application. Toxic ions in water are an increasing environmental pollutant with the fast development. Numerous researches have been made to develop photocatalysts to treat ionic pollutants under the illumination of ultraviolet light and visible light. Here,photocatalytic remediation of toxic ionic pollutants has been reviewed. This review summarized and discussed various photocatalysts including Ti O2, modified Ti O2,metal oxides, metalsulfides, and nitrides and their recent progress in removing ionic pollutants such as heavy metal ion. | 2 | Electromagnetic Characteristic of Twin-wire Indirect Arc Welding显示文摘Traditional welding methods are limited in low heat input to workpiece and high welding wire melting rate. Twin-wire indirect arc(TWIA) welding is a new welding method characterized by high melting rate and low heat input. This method uses two wires: one connected to the negative electrode and another to the positive electrode of a direct-current(DC) power source. The workpiece is an independent, non-connected unit. A three dimensional finite element model of TWIA is devised. Electric and magnetic fields are calculated and their influence upon TWIA behavior and the welding process is discussed. The results show that with a 100 A welding current, the maximum temperature reached is 17 758 K, arc voltage is 14.646 V while maximum current density was 61 A/mm2 with a maximum Lorene force of 84.5 uN. The above mentioned arc parameters near the cathode and anode regions are far higher than those in the arc column region. The Lorene force is the key reason for plasma velocity direction deviated and charged particles flowed in the channel formed by the cathode, anode and upper part of arc column regions. This led to most of the energy being supplied to the polar and upper part of arc column regions. The interaction between electric and magnetic fields is a major determinant in shaping TWIA as well as heat input on the workpiece. | 5 | A novel architecture of electro-hydrostatic actuator with digital distribution显示文摘To address the flow imbalance rapidly of the asymmetric Electro-Hydrostatic Actuator(EHA),this paper presents a novel architecture of asymmetric EHA with the Digital Distribution(EHA-DD).It also improves the flow nonlinearity and control accuracy of the pump,especially in the low-speed condition.The digital distribution with two High-Speed on–off Valves(HSVs)not only balances flow instead of the check valves,but also replaces the pump at the low-speed to control output flow by adjusting the PWM signal.The pump and HSVs are the crucial components to control flow output.Firstly,the flow calculation models of the pump and the duty ratio inversed model of the HSV are obtained through experimental tests and the identification method.To get the control input signal for the required flow,the pump speed and PWM duty ratio for the HSVs are inversed to compensate for flow output.Further,a multimode digital flow distribution control method based on pump speed,mainly including the pump-controlled mode for large flow demand and valve-controlled mode for little flow demand,is proposed to control the accurate flow output actively.The step extension experiments based on the flow calculation models are conducted on the EHA-DD prototype under elastic,opposite varying load.The results demonstrate that the EHADD realizes little position error by accurate flow control,and it is also beneficial to improve the service life of the pump. | Jing YAO Pei WANG Zhaosheng DONG Dongting JIANG Tong SHA | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,5: | 3 |
| 6 | Change in current and future geographic distributions of Ulmus lamellosa in China显示文摘Prediction of potential geographic distributions is important for species protection and habitat restoration.Ulmus lamellosa is an endangered and endemic species in China for which conservation efforts are required.The maximum entropy(MaxEnt) model was used to predict the current and future geographic distribution(from 2030 to 2070) of U.lamellosa in China and discuss the reasons for changes in climatic suitability.The MaxEnt model provided a good fit to our data as confirmed by an AUC value of 0.948.The suitable areas for U.lamellosa were primarily projected in the northern part of China from 2030 to2070, especially in Liaoning province.The variables'temperature seasonality', 'precipitation of wettest month' and 'precipitation of warmest quarter' were the most influential climatic variables in limiting the distribution of U.lamellosa.Our results clearly predict the future impacts of climate change on the geographic distribution of U.lamellosa and this can help prioritize design of localized conservation strategies in China. | Dongting Yan Wei Chen Li Liu Jing Li Lin Liu Yiling Wang | 2018 | Journal of Forestry Research2018,29,4: | 2 |

| 8 | Compact asymmetric sound absorber at the exceptional point显示文摘We present an asymmetric absorber at an exceptional point(EP) with a compact configuration and deep-subwavelength thickness.Unlike conventional side-branched sound absorbers in dual-port systems, the proposed asymmetric absorber exhibits a compact shape that is coaxial with the waveguide. By tuning the loss and geometric parameters of the non-Hermitian system to reach an EP, we observe extreme asymmetric absorption. This phenomenon is theoretically and experimentally validated by observing a quasi-perfect absorption and a near-total reflection for opposite incidences at the ultra-thin(1/28 th of the operating wavelength)neck-embedded tube employed in this study. Furthermore, we demonstrate an EP-induced tunable asymmetric absorption. | 9 | Superconducting gap evolution of kagome metal CsV3Sb5 under pressure显示文摘Kagome superconductors AV3Sb5(A=Cs,V,Sb) have served as an ideal platform to unveil the intriguing competitions between charge-density-wave(CDW),superconductivity and possible nontrivial topological states.We report soft point-contact spectroscopy(SPCS) studies on CsV3Sb5under pressure up to 2.5 GPa.Its superconducting transition temperature Tcand gaps for SPCS at pressure P=0.1 GPa suggest the absence of the adverse local strain effect as observed in point-contacts at ambient pressure,while the SPCS-determined Tcunder hydrostatic pressure deviates from the reported double dome feature below 2.5 GPa.Three distinct gap values in CsV3Sb5are proposed to exist through the whole pressure range with 2Δ1/kBTc≤1,2Δ2/kBTc~2.3-3.0 and 2Δ3/kBTc>3.5.The two smaller gaps for 2Δ1/kBTc≤1 and 2Δ2/kBTc~2.3-3.0 are robust under pressure,while there is no trace of the largest gap 2Δ3/kBTc>3.5 for SPCS in the c direction with P≤P1=0.7 GPa and P≥ P2=2.0 GPa and it becomes observable in the pressure range of(P1,P2),suggesting a complex relation between CDW and superconductivity between(P1,P2). | Dongting Zhang Chufan Chen Lichang Yin Yan'En Huang Fengrui Shi Yi Liu Xiaofeng Xu Huiqiu Yuan Xin Lu | 2023 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2023,66,2: | 2 |

| 17 | Broadband impedance modulation via non-local acoustic metamaterials显示文摘Causality of linear time-invariant systems inherently defines the wave-matter interaction process in wave physics.This principle imposes strict constraints on the interfacial response of materials on various physical platforms.A typical consequence is that a delicate balance has to be struck between the conflicting bandwidth and geometric thickness when constructing a medium with desired impedance,which makes it challenging to realize broadband impedance modulation with compact structures.In pursuit of improvement,the over-damped recipe and the reduced excessive response recipe are creatively presented in this work.As a proof-of-concept demonstration,we construct a metamaterial with intensive mode density that supports strong non-locality over a frequency band from 320 Hz to 6400 Hz.Under the guidelines of the over-damped recipe and the reduced excessive response recipe,the metamaterial realizes impedance matching to air and exhibits broadband near-perfect absorption without evident impedance oscillation and absorption dips in the working frequency band.We further present a dual-functional design capable of frequency-selective absorption and reflection by concentrating the resonance modes in three frequency bands.Our research reveals the significance of over-damped recipe and the strong non-local effect in broadband impedance modulation,which may open up avenues for constructing efficient artificial impedance boundaries for energy absorption and other wave manipulation. | Zhiling Zhou Sibo Huang Dongting Li Jie Zhu Yong Li | 2022 | National Science Review2022,9,8: | 1 |
