1Characteristics of Cd isotopic compositions and their genetic significance in the lead-zinc deposits of SW China显示文摘Up to now,the evaporation and condensation,as well as the biological absorption and inorganic absorptions,have been proved to be major factors in Cd isotope fractionation.And Cd isotopes have been widely applied in studies on the universal evolution and marine environment and so on.However,only a few researches have been conducted in applying Cd isotopes to trace the source of metallogenic material and the evolution of the ore-forming fluid in a complex mineralization environment,especially in a hydrothermal ore-formation system.We measured the Cd isotopic compositions of sphalerite,galena,and ores from five lead-zinc deposits in SW China,and found that the 114/110Cd values varied from 1.53‰to 0.34‰,with a total range of1.87‰,which is greater than most of measured geological samples.Meanwhile,through contrasting the Cd content with Cd isotopic compositions of different deposits,it may be concluded that different genetic lead-zinc deposits have different Cd content and isotopic compositions,which could be a tool for the studies on the origin of ore deposits.Also,the biomineralization and crystal fractionation may also result in Cd isotope fractionation.In a word,although the research of Cd isotopes is presently at the preliminary stage(especially in hydrothermal ore-formation system),this study demonstrated that Cd isotopes can give a clue in tracing the evolution of ore-forming fluid and metallogenic environment.ZHU ChuanWei WEN HanJie ZHANG YuXu FAN HaiFeng FU ShaoHong XU Juan QIN TingRong 2013Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,12:14

3Separation of ionic liquids from dilute aqueous solutions using the method based on CO_2 hydrates显示文摘Ionic liquids (ILs) have been regarded as the potential novel solvents for improved analytical-and process-scale separation methods. The development of methods for the recovery of ILs from aqueous solutions to escape contamination and recycle samples will ultimately govern the viability of ILs in the future industrial applications. Therefore, in this paper a new method for separation of ILs from their dilute aqueous solutions and simultaneously purification of water was proposed on the basis of the CO2 hydrate formation. For illustration, the dilute aqueous solutions with concentrations of ILs ranging from 2×10-3 mol% to 2×10-1mol% were concentrated.The results show that the separation efficiency is very impressive and that the new method is applicable to aqueous solutions of both hydrophobic and hydrophilic ILs.Compared to the literature separation method based on the supercritical CO2,the new method is applicable to lower concentrations,and more importantly, its operation condition is mild.Xiaoming Peng Yufeng Hu Yansheng Liu Chuanwei Jin Huaijing Lin 2010Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2010,19,1:9
4Electromagnetic Characteristic of Twin-wire Indirect Arc Welding显示文摘Traditional welding methods are limited in low heat input to workpiece and high welding wire melting rate. Twin-wire indirect arc(TWIA) welding is a new welding method characterized by high melting rate and low heat input. This method uses two wires: one connected to the negative electrode and another to the positive electrode of a direct-current(DC) power source. The workpiece is an independent, non-connected unit. A three dimensional finite element model of TWIA is devised. Electric and magnetic fields are calculated and their influence upon TWIA behavior and the welding process is discussed. The results show that with a 100 A welding current, the maximum temperature reached is 17 758 K, arc voltage is 14.646 V while maximum current density was 61 A/mm2 with a maximum Lorene force of 84.5 uN. The above mentioned arc parameters near the cathode and anode regions are far higher than those in the arc column region. The Lorene force is the key reason for plasma velocity direction deviated and charged particles flowed in the channel formed by the cathode, anode and upper part of arc column regions. This led to most of the energy being supplied to the polar and upper part of arc column regions. The interaction between electric and magnetic fields is a major determinant in shaping TWIA as well as heat input on the workpiece. 5Non-harmonious deformation controlling of gob-side entry in thin coal seam under dynamic pressure显示文摘The behavior of gob-side entry under dynamic pressure is totally different from the one driven after the movement of overlying strata above the adjacent coalface goaf.The gob-side entry will experience severe roof lateral structural adjustments caused by adjacent coalface mining.Thus the deformation and failure characteristics of narrow coal pillar along the gob should be carefully considered.On the basis of the data of the gob-side entry obtained in a thin coal seam under dynamic pressure,the measures to reinforce the narrow coal pillar are put forward.In addition,the non-harmonious controlling of the rock structures and non-equilibrium gob-side entry deformation is proposed to avoid potential failure.Field practices show that the supporting problems of the gob-side entry under dynamic pressure can be well addressed,which could be used in other similar mining cases.Kegong Fan Hongguang Liang Chishuai Ma Chuanwei Zang 2014Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2014,6,3:5
6A PIF7-CONST ANS-Centered Molecular Regulatory Network Underlying Shade-Accelerated Flowering显示文摘To compete with their neighbors for light and escape shaded environments,sun-loving plants have devel-oped the shade-avoidance syndrome(SAS),a set of responses including alteration of plant architecture and initiation of early flowering and seed set.Previous studies on SAS mainly focused on dissecting molec-ular basis of hypocotyl elongation in seedlings under shade light;however,the molecular mechanisms underlying shade-accelerated flowering in adult plants remain unknown.In this study,we found that CONSTANS(CO)and PHYTOCHROME-INTERACTING FACTOR 7(PIF7)have an additive effect on shade-induced flowering,but that LONG HYPOCOTYL IN FAR-RED1(HFR1)represses early flowering by binding to CO and PIF7 and preventing the binding of CO to the promoter of FLOWERING LOCUS T(FT)and the binding of PIF7 to the promoter of pri-MIR156E/F.Under shade,de-phosphorylated PIF7 and accumulated CO,balanced by HFR1,upregulate the expression of FT,TSF,SOC1,and SPLs to accelerate flowering.Moreover,we found that the function of PIF7 in flowering time is independent of phyA.Collectively,these regulatory interactions establish a crucial link between the light signal and genetic network that regulates flowering transition under shade.Renshan Zhang Chuanwei Yang Yupei Jiang Lin Li 2019Molecular Plant2019,12,12:5

8Shade-induced stem elongation in rice seedlings:Implication of tissue-specific phytohormone regulation显示文摘A better understanding of shade avoidance syndrome(SAS) is an urgent need because of its effect on energy reallocation. Leverage-related mechanism in crops is of potential economic interest for agricultural applications. Here we report the SAS phenotype at tissue level rice seedlings. Tissue-specific RNA-sequencing indicates auxin plays different roles between coleoptile and the first leaf.Phenotypes of wild type treated by gibberellin and brassinosteroid biosynthesis inhibitors and of related mutants suggest these two hormones positively regulate SAS. 9Isotopic Geochemistry of Cadmium:A Review显示文摘Cadmium(Cd) is a scarce, but not an extremely rare element in the Earth's crust(crustal average: 0.2 ppm Cd). Geochemically, Cd exhibits thiophile, lithophile, and volatile behavior in different geologic processes. Biologically, it is a nutrient-like element that is closely related to P and Zn and is toxic element to organisms. Presently, Cd isotopes have been successfully utilized to trace Cd sources and nutrient cycling in marine systems in addition to unearthing other geochemical processes. Using published studies and our recent work, this survey summarizes the chemical preparation and mass spectrometry of Cd isotopes. 11Discrimination of Motor Imagery Patterns by Electroencephalogram Phase Synchronization Combined With Frequency Band Energy显示文摘Central nerve signal evoked by thoughts can be directly used to control a robot or prosthetic devices without the involvement of the peripheral nerve and muscles.This is a new strategy of human-computer interaction.A method of electroencephalogram(EEG) phase synchronization combined with band energy was proposed to construct a feature vector for pattern recognition of brain-computer interaction based on EEG induced by motor imagery in this paper,rhythm and beta rhythm were first extracted from EEG by band pass filter and then the frequency band energy was calculated by the sliding time window;the instantaneous phase values were obtained using Hilbert transform and then the phase synchronization feature was calculated by the phase locking value(PLV) and the best time interval for extracting the phase synchronization feature was searched by the distribution of the PLV value in the time domain.Finally,discrimination of motor imagery patterns was performed by the support vector machine(SVM).The results showed that the phase synchronization feature more effective in4s-7s and the correct classification rate was 91.4%.Compared with the results achieved by a single EEG feature related to motor imagery,the correct classification rate was improved by 3.5 and4.3 percentage points by combining phase synchronization with band energy.These indicate that the proposed method is effective and it is expected that the study provides a way to improve the performance of the online real-time brain-computer interaction control system based on EEG related to motor imagery.Chuanwei Liu Yunfa Fu Jun Yang Xin Xiong Huiwen Sun Zhengtao Yu 2017IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2017,4,3:3
12Hypersonic flutter and flutter suppression system of a wind tunnel model显示文摘The aeroelastic behavior of a thin flat rudder model was numerically simulated and experimentally investigated in a hypersonic wind tunnel. In particular, a flutter suppression system taking advantage of collision within small gaps was proposed and a novel system for the flutter simulation of the whole nonlinear aeroelastic system including the flutter suppression system was developed. First, the critical flutter dynamic pressure of the rudder without the flutter suppression system was calculated with different methods. Then, the whole nonlinear aeroelastic system, including theflutter suppression system, was simulated to design the gap size. Finally, the flutter suppression system was experimentally validated in a hypersonic wind tunnel operating at Mach number 5. 16Iron isotopic analyses of geological reference materials on MC-ICP-MS with instrumental mass bias corrected by three independent methods显示文摘Here we report iron(Fe) isotopic data of three pure Fe solution standards(IRMM-014, GSB Fe, and NIST3126a) and five widely used geological reference materials(RMs) from the United States Geological Survey and Geological Survey of Japan obtained on a Neptune Plus multi-collector–inductively coupled plasma–mass spectrometer(MC-ICP-MS) in our laboratory over the past 3 years. The instrumental mass bias was corrected by three independent methods: sample-standard bracketing(SSB),Ni doping + SSB, and ^(57)Fe–^(58)Fe double spike + SSB.Measurements reveal that both the Ni doping and double spike methods helped calibrate short-term fluctuations in mass bias. Collectively, almost all measurements of RMs yielded δ^(56)Fe within ± 0.05 of recommended values,provided that each sample was measured four times on MC-ICP-MS. 18Compositional Variants of Cu-rich Precipitate in Thermally Aged Ferritic Steel显示文摘Atom probe tomography was utilized to investigate Cu precipitation in a high-strength low-alloy steel isothermally aged at 500℃ for 1, 4, 16, and 64 h after water-quenching from 900℃. With prolonged aging time, the Curich precipitates(CRPs) increased in size and decreased in number density, and gradually evolved from spheroidal to elliptical in morphology. The small CRPs were rich in a high amount of Fe and a certain amount of Ni and Mn at their early nucleation stage. The large CRPs with increased size due to extensive aging contained less Fe and more Cu at their later growth stage.
