1Microstructure in the Weld Metal of Austenitic-Pearlitic Dissimilar Steels and Diffusion of Element in the Fusion Zone显示文摘Microstructure and alloy element distribution in the welded joint between austenitic stainless steel (1Cr18Ni9Ti) and pearlitic heat-resistant steel (lCr5Mo) were researched by means of light microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and electron probe microanalysis (EPMA). Microstructure, divisions of the fusion zone and elemental diffusion distributions in the welded joints were investigated. Furthermore, solidification microstructure and &-ferrite distribution in the weld metal of these steels are also discussed.Yajiang LI, Zengda ZOU and Bing ZHOU Department of Materials Engineering, Shandong University, Jinan 250061, China E-mail: yajli@jn-public.sd.cninfo.net 2001Journal of Materials Science & Technology2001,17,3:6
2Electromagnetic Characteristic of Twin-wire Indirect Arc Welding显示文摘Traditional welding methods are limited in low heat input to workpiece and high welding wire melting rate. Twin-wire indirect arc(TWIA) welding is a new welding method characterized by high melting rate and low heat input. This method uses two wires: one connected to the negative electrode and another to the positive electrode of a direct-current(DC) power source. The workpiece is an independent, non-connected unit. A three dimensional finite element model of TWIA is devised. Electric and magnetic fields are calculated and their influence upon TWIA behavior and the welding process is discussed. The results show that with a 100 A welding current, the maximum temperature reached is 17 758 K, arc voltage is 14.646 V while maximum current density was 61 A/mm2 with a maximum Lorene force of 84.5 uN. The above mentioned arc parameters near the cathode and anode regions are far higher than those in the arc column region. The Lorene force is the key reason for plasma velocity direction deviated and charged particles flowed in the channel formed by the cathode, anode and upper part of arc column regions. This led to most of the energy being supplied to the polar and upper part of arc column regions. The interaction between electric and magnetic fields is a major determinant in shaping TWIA as well as heat input on the workpiece. This is a first study of electromagnetic characteristics and their influences in the TWIA welding process, and it is significant in both a theoretical and practical sense.SHI Chuanwei ZOU Yong ZOU Zengda WU Dongting 2015Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2015,28,1:6
3Effect of Thermal Cycle on Microstructure and Fracture Morphology in HAZ of HQ130 Steel显示文摘The effect of different peak temperature(T_P) and cooling time(t_(8/5)) on microstructure, hardness, impact toughness and fracture morphology in the heat-affected zone(HAZ) of HQ130 steel was studied by using weld thermo-simulation test.Experimental results indicate that the impact toughness and hardness decrease with the decrease of T_P or increase of t_(8/5) under the condition of a single thermal cycle. There is a brittle zone in the vicinity of T_P = 800 ℃,where the impact toughness is considerably low. There is a softened zone in the vicinity of T_P = 700℃,where the hardness decreases but the toughness increases. In the practical application of multi-layer and multipass welding, the welding heat input should be strictly limited(t_(8/5)≤20s) so as to reduce the softness and brittleness in the HAZ of HQ130 steel.Li Yajiang Zou Zengda Cheng Zhunian Wei Xing Jiang Quanchang 1996Journal of Iron and Steel Research(International)1996,3,2:3

8Interfacial Microstructure between WC-Based Cermet and Cu Alloy显示文摘A WC-TiC-Co/CuZnNi composite layer was produced on 1045 steel substrate by means of inside-furnace brazing technique. The microstructure, phase constituent and interfacial diffusion behavior between cermet and CuZnNi alloy were investigated by means of scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM), electron probe microanalyzer (EPMA) and X-ray diffraction. The results showed that microstructure of matrix was α andβ phases. Cermet particles were surrounded by the α+β phases in the composite layer and their sizes were almost similar to those in original state. The interfacial zone was formed by the mutual diffusion of elements under the condition of high temperature. The interface consists of WC, TiC, CuZn, and CuNi phases, and there are no microcracks and inclusions near the interface.Xinhong WANG, Zengda ZOU, Sili SONG and Shiyao QUSchool of Materials Science and Engineering, Shandong University, Jinan 250061, China 2004Journal of Materials Science & Technology2004,20,6:1
