| 1 | Reduced function and disassembled microtubules of cultured cardiomyocytes in spaceflight显示文摘Lack of gravity during spaceflight has profound effects on cardiovascular system, but little is known about how the cardiomyocytes respond to microgravity. In the present study, the effects of spaceflight on the structure and function of cultured cardiomyocytes were reported. The primary cultures of neo- natal rat cardiomyocytes were carried on Shenzhou-6 spacecraft and activated at 4 h in orbit. 8 samples were fixed respectively at 4, 48 and 96 h after launching for immunofluorescence of cytoskeleton, and 2 samples remained unfixed to analyze contractile and secretory functions of the cultures. Ground sam- ples were treated in our laboratory in parallel. After 115 h spaceflight, video recordings displayed that the number of spontaneous beating sites in flown samples decreased significantly, and the cells in the beating aggregate contracted in fast frequency without synchrony. Radioimmunoassay of the medium showed that the atrial natriuretic peptide secreted from flown cells reduced by 59.6%. Confocal images demonstrated the time-dependant disassembly of mirotubules versus unchanged distribution and or- ganization of microfilaments. | 2 | Evolution of microstructures and optical properties of gadolinium oxide with oxygen flow rate and annealing temperature显示文摘In this study, the effects of oxygen flow rate and annealing temperature on Gd_2 O_3 structures and optical properties were systematically analyzed. Gd_2 O_3 films were deposited on both quartz and ZnS substrates by magnetron sputtering and then annealed under vacuum at 700, 800 and 900℃, Restructure and phase transformation from cubic to monoclinic occur at different temperatures depending on the oxygen flow rate. The optical band gap, which is more sensitive to the annealing temperature than oxygen flow rate changes from 5.32 to 5.65 eV. The refractive index is approximately 1.75 at 550 nm and is adjustable by the oxygen flow rate. The transmittance of the ZnS substrate with Gd_2 O_3 film exceeds 80% and reaches82% at the 7.5-9.5 μm range. When ZnS is coated on both sides, the transmittance is increased to approximately 90%. | 8 | Bionic peptide scaffold in situ polarization and recruitment of M2 macrophages to promote peripheral nerve regeneration显示文摘Tissue regeneration requires exogenous and endogenous signals,and there is increasing evidence that the exogenous microenvironment may play an even more dominant role in the complex process of coordinated multiple cells.The short-distance peripheral nerve showed a spontaneous regenerative phenomenon,which was initiated by the guiding role of macrophages.However,it cannot sufficiently restore long-distance nerve injury by itself.Based on this principle,we firstly constructed a proinflammatory model to prove that abnormal M2 expression reduce the guidance and repair effect of long-distance nerves.Furthermore,a bionic peptide hydrogel scaffold based on self-assembly was developed to envelop M2-derived regenerative cytokines and extracellular vesicles(EVs).The cytokines and EVs were quantified to mimic the guidance and regenerative microenvironment in a direct and mild manner.The bionic scaffold promoted M2 transformation in situ and led to proliferation and migration of Schwann cells,neuron growth and motor function recovery.Meanwhile,the peptide scaffold combined with CX3CL1 recruited more blood-derived M2 macrophages to promote long-distance nerve reconstruction.Overall,we systematically confirmed the important role of M2 in regulating and restoring the injury peripheral nerve.This bionic peptide hydrogel scaffold mimicked and remodeled the local environment for M2 transformation and recruitment,favoring long-distance peripheral nerve regeneration.It can help to explicate regulative effect of M2 may be a cause not just a consequence in nerve repair and tissue integration,which facilitating the development of pro-regenerative biomaterials. | Pengxiang Yang Yong Peng Xiu Dai Jing Jie Deling Kong Xiaosong Gu Yumin Yang | 2023 | Bioactive Materials2023,,12: | 0 |

| 10 | Effect of thickness on infrared optical property of VO2 film deposited by magnetron sputtering显示文摘A series of VO2 films with different thicknesses(from about 25 nm to 250 nm)were prepared on sapphire substrates by radio frequency magnetron sputtering.The deposition times varied from 15 min to 150 min.The metal to insulator transitions(MIT)of the films were studied.The optical transmittance of the films to infrared light(with a wavelength of 4.0μm)at room temperature(30℃)varied significantly with film thickness,ranging from 86.53%to 41.01%.The modulation property also changes with thickness,decreasing from 22.89%to 14.74%.The phase transition temperature remained approximately 70℃during heating,and approximately 53℃during cooling,despite a tenfold increase in the deposition time,and the resulting thickness of the films.Raman spectroscopy of the films indicated that the intensities of the characteristic peaks corresponding to V2O5 increase with the increasing of film thickness.Temperature-dependent Raman spectroscopy indicated that the peaks corresponding to VO2 undergo reversible changes during heating and cooling of the films,while the peaks corresponding to V2O5 remain unchanged throughout.Careful control of the V2O5 content of the films(by varying the duration of the deposition process)allows control over their transmittance and optical modulation properties without changes in the phase transition temperature.This provides a new method of controlling the optical properties of these materials and shows promise for their potential applications in thermochromic windows. | YANG ZhenHuai YANG QiuLing YANG Lei DAI Bing XIA Fei WANG Peng GUO Shuai GAO Gang XU LiangGe ZHANG YuMin ZHU JiaQi | 2020 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2020,63,8: | 0 |
