1Optimal Harvesting and Stability for a Predator-prey System with Stage Structure显示文摘The dynamics of a predator-prey system, where prey population has two stages, an immature stage and a mature stage with harvesting, the growth of predator population is of Lotka-Volterra nature, are modelled by a system of retarded functional differential equations. We obtain conditions for global asymptotic stability of three nonnegative equilibria and a threshold of harvesting for the mature prey population. 2The expression of glucose regulated protein-94 in colorectal carcinoma cells treated by sodium butyrate显示文摘The expression of glucose regulated protein 94 (GRP94)during the treatment of human colorectal carcinoma cell lineClone A cells with sodium butyrate was studied. Sodium butyrate (SB) can cause functional and morphological effects on Clone A cells including growth arrest at Go/G1 stage and cell differentiation as observed by morphological changes, MTT and flow cytometry assays, as well as reduced Grp94 gene expression as shown by Northern blot and Western blot assays. 3Establishment and evaluation of the system of extracorporeal liver perfusion in pigs显示文摘BACKGROUND; In recent years, extracorporeal liver per- fusion (ECLP) has been regarded as a treatment of acute liver failure ( ALF ); but the system of ECLP has many problems. The purpose of this experiment was to detect the factors affecting the system of ECLP and to establish a sta- ble and effective system of ECLP. METHODS; Livers were harvested from health pigs, ac- cording to the different styles of perfusion and oxygena- tion, which were randomly divided into 3 groups. The liv- ers in group A (n =4) were subjected to single portal vein perfusion, oxygenating perfusion blood; the livers in group B (n =4) to dual ( portal vein and hepatic artery) vessel perfusion, oxygenating blood, together; and the livers in group C ( n = 4) to dual (portal vein and hepatic artery) vessel perfusion, but oxygenating blood, separately. The perfusion time, the data of bile production, and hemody- namic parameters of extracorporeal livers in each group were tested. The histological examination of liver tissues from each group was performed at the end of perfusion. RESULTS: The perfusion time of the liver in group A is significantly shorter than in groups B and C (P<0.05). At 1 , 3 , 6 hours after perfusion, the data of bile production and hemodynamic parameters of livers in group A were sta- tistically different from those of livers in groups B and C (P<0.05). At 1, 3, 6 hours after perfusion, the data of group B were not statistically different from those of livers in group C (P>0.05). But at 12 hours after perfusion, the data of group B were statistically different from those of liv- ers in group C (P<0.01). 6The sea/land breeze in the northern coastal area of Shandong Peninsula显示文摘In this paper the seasonal variation and structural characteristics of the sea/ land breeze in the northern coastal area of' Shandong Peninsula are studied in two ways: one is the analysis of the observed wind data, and the other is numerical simulation and experiments. Firstly, the hour to hour wind data through the year 1984 at Longkou Meteorological Station and Yantai Oceanographic Station are analysed through energy spectra and hodograph. It is revealed from the analysed results that the effects of the sea/ land breeze in the area are notable in spring, summer and fall, especially in May. However, in winter the effects of sea / land breeze are not obvious. because the cold noitherly is prevailing. Secondly, a two-dimensional non- linear model of primitive equations is used to study the sea / land breeze circulation in May in the area. The results of numerical simulation consist basically with the analysed results of the observed sea / land breeze. 9A study of the chemical composition and transport of marine aerosols over the ocean near China显示文摘In this paper the authors cite the aerosol samples collected with a KA-200 Anderson cascade Impactor and a KB-120 sampler during the first cruise of the Kuroshio investigation operated by the People’s Republic of China and Japan cooperative program, from July 23 to August 21, 1987. The concentration size distributions and composition of marine aerosols over the Kuroshio area are analyzed. Neutron activation analysis is used to determine the elemental composition of the aerosols. The authors also discuss some characteristics of marine aerosols relating to long-range transport of crustal and anthropogenic elements from the continent to the remote ocean. Analytical results indicate that elements Al, Fe, Sc and Sb over this area are obviously influenced by the continent of Asia, and the size distributions are changed after long-range transport. 10Effects of fluoride on growth and reproduction of the army worm, Mythimna separata (Walker)显示文摘This paper deals with effects of airborne fluorine on the army worm, Mythimna separata (Walker), by rearing the larvae on the wheat foliage exposed to HF or fumigating the larvae on the artificial diet with the pollutant. Larval relative growth rate (GR) and index of population trend of the insect reduced by 5% and 11%, respectively, when the larvae were reared on the foliage taken from the wheat plants exposed to 0.87 g·dm-2·day-1 of fluorine compared with those of the control. An extra instar appeared in a majority of the larvae treated. Survival rate and GR of the larvae on the wheat plant being exposure to the same concentration of fluorine in field open-top fumigation device were 40% and 15% lower than that of the control, respectively. 12Objective and quantitative evaluation of environmental quality of the land for agriculture purpose显示文摘An objective and quantitative evaluation method on land environmental quality for agricultural purpose in a county range is studied in this paper. The method takes into account the quantity of heat, precipitation, meteorological disaster and soil fertility, which have close relationship to the potential productivity of land and can be expressed conveniently and accurately by taking Kai County as an example. Besides comprehensive grading assessment, assessment with Hilbert Space distance coefficiency and comprehensive judgement by fuzzy sets theory, the assessment factors are expanded to 18 parameters, and fuzzy dominance matrix and fuzzy clustering methods are adopted for regional comprehensive identification of agriculture-use land. Among these methods, each benefits from association with the other. 15Annealing High Resistivity CdZnTe Wafers under Controlled Cd/Zn Partial Pressures显示文摘In order to improve the performances of CdZnTe γ-ray detector, it is key issue to get the crystal with high quality. Equilibrium partial pressures, PCd and PZn, over Cd1-xZnx melt were estimated based on thermodynamic relationship and then Cd0.9Zn0.1Te wafers were annealed under controlled Cd/Zn partial pressures provided by Cd1-xZnx alloy reservoir. 16Sea level change along the coast of China relative to the isostatic datum显示文摘On the basis of the analyses of significant periods for the sea level observation data taken from recent several decades at 12 tide stations, the monthly mean sea level observations are fitted by a model of linear trend of sea level change superimposed with several variations of different fixed periods. The trends of sea level relative changes and their errors are estimated by the LS method. The results are reduced to the isostatic datum proposed and established in the paper (Huang et al. , 1991, Seismology and Geology , 1, 1-15). The trends of sea level changes in the near future along the coast of China are studied. It is pointed out that the general trend of the sea level change along the coast of China is going up slowly and the rate of the change is not the same in different segments of the coasts. In a few segments, the sea level is even relatively going down. 17Analysis on Source Process of Strong Earthquakes in Qinghai Province Based on Broadband Data显示文摘Four earthquakes with M > 6.0 occurred in Qinghai Province, China froth 1988 to 1990. Using broadband data from GDSN, the source ruptures of these earthquakes and tectonic surroundings were studied using waveform modelling combined with background data of geological tectonics.
