Liquid Crystal Motion Picture Projector显示文摘LiquidCrystalMotionPictureProjector①SHIYongji(LuoyangTechnologyColege,Luoyang471003,CHN)Abstract:Aliquidcrystalmovingpicturep... | SHI Yongji(Luoyang Technology College,Luoyang 471003,CHN)Abstract: A liquid crystal moving picture projector and method are described.Light incident on a liquid crystal display-type device is selectively scattered or transmitted by respective portions of liquid crystal display, and a projection mechanism projects an image formed by either such scattered light or such transmitted light.A liquid crystal moving picture projector includes a liquid crystal display for creating characteristics of an image, and projecttion optics for projecting images sequentially created by the display. The display includes a liquid crystal material capable of temporary storing information at respective areas. The temporary storage may be a function of charge storing directly on liquid crystal material.A method of projecting plural images in sequence includes:creating an image or characteristics of an image in a liquid crystal material, storing such image in such liquid crystal material, directing light at such liquid crystal material, projecting such image as a function of light transmitted through or scattered by such liquid crystal material, and creating a further image in such liquid crystal material for subsequent projection. | 1997 | Semiconductor Photonics and Technology1997,3,3: | 35
The global image of the Moon obtained by the Chang'E-1:Data processing and lunar cartography显示文摘The global lunar image of the first phase of Chinese Lunar Exploration Program is the first image that covered all over the surface of the Moon. It will serve as a critical foundation for succeeding exploration and scientific research. In this paper, the acquisition, characteristics, and data quality of Chang'E-1 CCD image data are described in detail. Also described are the methodology and procedure of data processing. According to rule of planetary cartography, the image data have been processed, geometrically corrected, and then mosaicked and merged in a scale of 1:2.5 million. The results of data processing and charting show that the image data of Chang'E-1 CCD and their geometric precision meet the demand of charting a map in the scale of 1:2.5 million. The relative geometric positioning precision of the global image is better than 240 m, and the absolute geometric positioning precision is slightly better than that of the ULCN2005 and Clementine lunar basemap (V2.0). The plane positioning precision is approximately 100-1500 m. This global image proves to be the best global image of the Moon so far in terms of space coverage, image quality, and positioning precision. | LI ChunLai1, LIU JianJun1, REN Xin1, MOU LingLi1, ZOU YongLiao1, ZHANG HongBo1, Lü Chang1, LIU JianZhong1, ZUO Wei1, SU Yan1, WEN WeiBin1, BIAN Wei1, ZHAO BaoChang2, YANG JianFeng2, ZOU XiaoDuan1, WANG Min1, XU Chun1, KONG DeQing1, WANG XiaoQian1, WANG Fang1, GENG Liang1, ZHANG ZhouBin1, ZHENG Lei1, ZHU XinYing1, LI JunDuo1 & OUYANG ZiYuan11 National Astronomical Observatories, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing 100012, China 2 Xi’an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Xi’an 710119, China | 2010 | Science China Earth Sciences2010,53,8: | 22
Reverse reconciliation for continuous variable quantum key distribution显示文摘An efficient and practical post-processing technique based on reverse reconciliation for continuous variable quantum key distribution is proposed and simulated with low-density parity check (LDPC) codes. MultiLevel Coding/ MultiStage Decoding, which fully utilizes optimization technique such as vector quantization and iterative decoding and the optimal channel coding most close to the Shannon limit, was used to realize efficient reverse reconciliation algorithm. Simulation results showed that the proposed method can improve the secure key distribution rate to 2.2 kb/s and the coding efficiency to 0.89 over 20 km in single-mode optical fiber. Moreover, there still is room for much improvement. | LU ZhiXin 1,2 , YU Li 1,2 , LI Kang 1,2 , LIU BingCan 1,2,3 , LIN JianGui 1,2 , JIAO RongZhen 1,2 & YANG BoJun 1,21 School of Science, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing 100876, China 2 Key Laboratory of Information Photonics and Optical Communication, Ministry of Education, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing 100876, China 3 Department of Fundamental Courses, Academy of Armored Force Engineering, Beijing 100072, China | 2010 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2010,53,1: | 12
Primary scientific results of Chang'E-1 lunar mission显示文摘The strategic plan for the development of the unmanned Chinese Lunar Exploration Program is characterized by three distinct stages: 'orbiting around', 'landing on' and 'returning from' the Moon. The first Chinese lunar probe, Chang'E-1, which was successfully launched on October 24th, 2007 at Xichang Satellite Launch Center, and guided to crash on the Moon on March 1st, 2009, at 52.36°E, 1.50°S, in the north of Mare Fecunditatis, is the first step towards the 'orbiting around' stage. The Chang'E-1 mission lasted 495 days, exceeding the expected life-span by about four months. A total of 1.37 TB raw data was received from Chang'E-1. It was then processed into 4 TB scientific data products at various levels. Many scientific results have been obtained by analyzing these data, including especially the 'global lunar image from the first Chinese lunar explora- tion mission'. All scientific goals of Chang'E-1 have been achieved. It provides much useful materials for further advances of lunar sciences and planetary chemistry. Meanwhile, these results will serve as a firm basis for future Chinese lunar missions. | OUYANG ZiYuan1,2, LI ChunLai1, ZOU YongLiao1, ZHANG HongBo1, Lü Chang1, LIU JianZhong1, LIU JianJun1, ZUO Wei1, SU Yan1, WEN WeiBin1, BIAN Wei1, ZHAO BaoChang3, WANG JianYu4, YANG JianFeng3, CHANG Jin5, WANG HuanYu6, ZHANG XiaoHui7, WANG ShiJin7, WANG Min1, REN Xin1, MU LingLi1, KONG DeQing1, WANG XiaoQian1, WANG Fang1, GENG Liang1, ZHANG ZhouBin1, ZHENG Lei1, ZHU XinYing1, ZHENG YongChun1, LI JunDuo1, ZOU XiaoDuan1, XU Chun1, SHI ShuoBiao1, GAO YiFei1 & GAO GuanNan1 1 National Astronomical Observatories, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing 100012, China 2 Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Guiyang 550002, China 3 Xi’an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Xi’an 710119, China 4 Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai 200083, China 5 Purple Mountain Observatory, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Nanjing 210008, China 6 Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing 100049, China 7 Center for Space Science and Applied Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing 100190, China | 2010 | Science China Earth Sciences2010,53,11: | 11

Generation of surface electrons in femtosecond laser-solid interactions显示文摘The characteristics of hot electrons produced by p-polarized femtosecond laser-solid interactions are studied. The experimental results show that the outgoing electrons are mainly emitted in three directions: along the target surface, the normal direction and the laser backward direction. The electrons flowing along the target surface are due to the confinement of the electrostatic field and the surface magnetic field, while the electrons in the normal direction due to the resonant absorption. | XU Miaohua1, LI Yutong1, YUAN Xiaohui1,2, ZHENG Zhiyuan1, LIANG Wenxi1, YU Quanzhi1, ZHANG Yi1, WANG Zhaohua1, WEI Zhiyi1 & ZHANG Jie1 1. | 13 | Computer Controlled Polishing of the Off-axis Aspheric Mirrors显示文摘In this paper, the manufacturing and testing procedures to make large off-axis aspherical mirrors are presented. The difficulties in polishing and testing for both circular aperture and rectangular aperture mirrors are previewed, and a possible solution is given. The two mirrors have been polished by means of CCOS, and the final accuracy is 25nm rms for 770mm×210mm rectangular mirror and 20nm rms for φ600mm circular mirror. These results just meet the optical tolerances specified by the designer, and the manufacturing and testing procedures presented here show good ability to make the large off-axis aspherical mirrors. | ZHANG Xue jun,WENG Zhi cheng,ZHANG Zhong yu, WANG Quan dou,ZHANG Feng (Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Changchun 130022, China) | 2001 | 光学精密工程2001,9,5: | 4

Active-fault-alarm based pre-restoration mechanism in MPLS-TP optical network显示文摘The newly developed multi-protocol label switching transport profile (MPLS-TP) fails to actively alarm the fault in advance when conducting restoration in network, or to avoid the false-alarm when equipped with the active-fault-alarm (AFA) to support carrier-grade reliability. In order to solve this problem, a new AFA based pre-restoration mechanism (AFABPRM) is proposed for MPLS-TP controlled optical network, along with the three levels quality-of-service (QoS) based shortest path first rerouting algorithm (TQ-SPF) in this article. The AFABPRM takes full advantage of the AFA technologies, and can solve the false-alarm problem. Analytical and experimental results suggest the better performances of the new mechanism when compared restoration mechanism with or without AFA function, and show that the AFABPRM can solve the false-alarm problem efficiently. | BAI Hui-feng, LU Yue-ming, JI Yue-feng Key Laboratory of Information Photonics and Optical Communications, Ministry of Education, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing 100876, China | 2010 | The Journal of China Universities of Posts and Telecommunications2010,17,3: | 4

A first-principles study of the size-dependent electronic properties of SiC nanotubes显示文摘We investigate the structural and electronic properties of SiC nanotubes(NTs) with hexagonal cross sections by a first-principles calculation using plane-wave ultra-soft pseudo-potential technology based on the density-functional theory. Our results reveal that surface-layer C and Si atoms relax significantly upon decreasing the tube-wall thickness because of surface-size and quantum-size effects. We also find that all relaxed SiC NTs stay stably on the nanoscale because of an admixture of sp2 and sp3 hybridization between C and Si atoms and a strong covalent, and that the band gap tends to decrease with increasing tube-wall thickness. Our calculations further indicate that both C and Si atoms on the inner and outer surface of SiC NTs contribute to defect states at the top of the valence band and at the bottom of the conduction band. These results provide reference information for a thorough understanding of the properties of SiC nanostructures and also enable more precise monitoring and control of the growth of SiC nanostructures. | ZHANG WeiHu 1,2,3,ZHANG FuChun 3,ZHANG ZhiYong 4*,LU ShuYuan 5 & YANG YanNing 3 1 Xi’an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics,Chinese Academy of Sciences,Xi’an 710068,China 2 Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences,Beijing 100049,China 3 College of Physics and Electronic Information,Yan’an University,Yan’an 716000,China 4 College of Information Science and Technology,Northwest University,Xi’an 710127,China 5 Department of Telecommunications,Xi’an Institute of Posts and Telecommunications,Xi’an 710121,China | 2010 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2010,53,7: | 4
| 18 | Single crystal β-Ga_2O_3: Cr grown by floating zone technique and its optical properties显示文摘β-Ga2O3: Cr single crystals were grown by floating zone technique. Absorption spectra and fluorescence spectra were measured at room temperature. The values of field splitting parameter Dq and Racah parameter B were obtained by the peak values of absorption spectra. The value 10Dq/B=23.14 manifests that in β-Ga2O3 crystals Cr3+ ions are influenced by low energy crystal field. After high temperature annealing in air, the Cr3+ intrinsic emission was enhanced and the green lumines-cence disappeared. The strong and broad 691 nm emission was obtained at 420 nm excitation due to the electron transition occurred from 4T2 to 4A2. | 19 | Solving the input data in error correc-tion of optical fabrication by finite Fourier coefficient algorithm显示文摘A free-form lens (FFL) is a special surface that is difficult to be fabricated. FFL are usually fabricated by computer-controlled optical surfacing (CCOS) technique. During CCOS, the material removal amount is determined by the unit removal function (URF) convoluting with the input data――the dwell time. When the removal amount and the URF are known, how to solve the input data involves the special algorithm――deconvolution. Usually, the input data are solved by virtue of low pass filter or iterative methods. However, an approximation solution would destroy the machining stability nec-essary to perform precisely CCOS. In this paper, to solve the input data, a new method that is based on the finite Fourier coefficient is put forward. It can give a continuous and accurate solution for fabricating choice. Several parameters are simulated, which influ-ence the process of CCOS, and evaluating on the effect of the method is also carried out. Experimental results verify that this method is suitable for guiding the manufacturing of high precision FFL. | CHENG Haobo1,2, SUN Guozheng3 & FENG Zhijing2 1.
