1A pH-sensitive supramolecular nanosystem with chlorin e6 and triptolide co-delivery for chemo-photodynamic combination therapy显示文摘The combination of Ce6,an acknowledged photosensitizer,and TPL,a natural anticancer agent,has been demonstrated as a useful strategy to reinforce the tumor growth suppression,as well as decrease the systemic side effects compared with their monotherapy.However,in view of the optimal chemo-photodynamic combination efficiency,there is still short of the feasible nanovehicle to steadily co-deliver Ce6 and TPL,and stimuli-responsively burst release drugs in tumor site.Herein,we described the synergistic antitumor performance of a pH-sensitive supramolecular nanosystem,mediated by the host–guest complexing betweenβ-CD and acid pH-responsive amphiphilic co-polymer mPEG-PBAE-mPEG,showing the shell–core structural micelles with the tightβ-CD layer coating.Both Ce6 and TPLwere facilely co-loaded into the spherical supramolecular NPs(TPL+Ce6/NPs)by one-step nanoprecipitation method,with an ideal particle size(156.0 nm),acid pH-responsive drug release profile,and enhanced cellular internalization capacity.In view of the combination benefit of photodynamic therapy and chemotherapy,as well as co-encapsulation in the fabricated pH-sensitive supramolecular NPs,TPL+Ce6/NPs exhibited significant efficacy to suppress cellular proliferation,boost ROS level,lower MMP,and promote cellular apoptosis in vitro.Particularly,fluorescence imaging revealed that TPL+Ce6/NPs preferentially accumulated in the tumor tissue area,with higher intensity than that of free Ce6.As expected,upon 650-nm laser irradiation,TPL+Ce6/NPs exhibited a cascade of amplified synergistic chemo-photodynamic therapeutic benefits to suppress tumor progression in both hepatoma H22 tumor-bearingmice and B16 tumor-bearingmice.More importantly,lower systemic toxicitywas found in the tumor-bearingmice treated with TPL+Ce6/NPs.Overall,the designed supramolecular TPL+Ce6/NPs provided a promising alternative approach for chemo-photodynamic therapy in tumor treatment.Yihan Wu Jingjing Li Xuemei Zhong Jinfeng Shi Yanfen Cheng Chenglin He Jiaxin Li Liang Zou Chaomei Fu Meiwan Chen Jinming Zhang Huile Gao 2022Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2022,17,2:4
2Broadband mid-infrared molecular spectroscopy based on passive coherent optical–optical modulated frequency combs显示文摘Mid-infrared dual-comb spectroscopy is of great interest owing to the strong spectroscopic features of trace gases,biological molecules,and solid matter with higher resolution,accuracy,and acquisition speed. However,the prerequisite of achieving high coherence of optical sources with the use of bulk sophisticated control systems prevents their widespread use in field applications. Here we generate a highly mutually coherent dual midinfrared comb spectrometer based on the optical–optical modulation of a continuous-wave (CW) interband or quantum cascade laser. Mutual coherence was passively achieved without post-data processes or active carrier envelope phase-locking processes. The center wavelength of the generated mid-infrared frequency combs can be flexibly tuned by adjusting the wavelength of the CW seeds. The parallel detection of multiple molecular species,including C_(2)H_(2),CH_(4),H_(2)CO,H_(2)S,COS,and H_(2)O,was achieved. 3Doppler velocimeter based on dual-comb absorption spectroscopy显示文摘The determination of airflow parameters is essential to the research of critical information on environment monitoring,chemical kinetics,and aerodynamic and propulsion applications.During the past few decades,tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy has become a common and efficient tool for the flow velocity measurement based on the Doppler shift of the absorption line.Dual-comb absorption spectroscopy(DCAS),as a state-of-theart Fourier-transform broadband spectroscopic technique,not only can detect multiple trace molecules in parallel but also can extract Doppler shifts to derive the flow velocity through the analysis of dozens of molecular absorption lines simultaneously with high precision.Here,we report a proof-of-principle demonstration of the velocity measurements of acetylene at various flow velocities by means of a high-resolution and broadband DCAS.Mode-resolved Doppler-shifted rotational-vibrational lines in the P branch of acetylene molecules are obtained.A model for multiline Doppler frequency determination is investigated and experimentally verified.The flow velocity measurements with a measuring uncertainty down to the submeter per second over the range from 8.7 m/s to 44.8 m/s at an effective time resolution of 1 s and a measuring uncertainty of 1.97 m/s at 0.1 s are demonstrated.With broadband mid-infrared frequency combs covering atmospheric transmission windows,the open-path measurement for monitoring diffusion of the weak pollutant source would be realized.CHENGLIN GU XING ZOU ZHONG ZUO DAOWANG PENG YUANFENG DI YANG LIU DAPING LUO WENXUE LI 2020Photonics Research2020,8,12:2
4Origin of Taiwan Canyon and its effects on deepwater sediment显示文摘The continental slope of the Taiwan Shoal, which has cultivated numerous submarine canyons, is located in a passive continental margin environment. However, the trend of the Taiwan Canyon, with its 45° intersection angle, is obviously different from that of the erosion valley downward along the continental slope. A distinct break is present in the lower segment of the Taiwan Canyon, which then extends from west to east parallel to the continental slope until finally joining the Manila Trench. By utilizing multiple-beam water depth data, high-resolution seismic data, and sediment cores, this study describes the topographic characteristics of the Taiwan Canyon and provides a preliminary discussion on the origin of the Taiwan Canyon and its effect on deepwater sediment. The terrain, landform, and sediment of the Taiwan Canyon exhibit segmentation characteristics. The upper segment is characterized primarily by erosion, downward cutting with a V shape, and wide development of sliding, slumping, and other gravity flow types. The middle segment is characterized mostly by U-shaped erosion-sedimentation transition and development of an inner levee. The lower segment is characterized primarily by sedimentation and development of a sediment wave. The bottom current has a significant reworking effect on the interior sediments of the canyon and forms reworked sands. The formation and evolution of the Taiwan Canyon is closely related to sediment supply, gravity sliding(slumping), faulting activities, and submarine impaling. Given the sufficient terrigenous clastic supply, the sediments along the continental shelf edge continuously proceed seaward; gliding and slumping in the front edge provide driving forces for the formation of the canyon. Faulting activities result in stratum crushing, and the gravity flow takes priority in eroding the relatively fragile stratum. Thus, the direction of the extension of the canyon crosses the surrounding erosion valley obliquely. Seamounts are formed through submarine impaling. Owing to seamount blocking, the lower segment of the canyon is turned toward the east–west direction. 11Drought Tolerance Identification and Eevluation of Maize during Flowering Stage in Guangxi显示文摘Total 20 maize varieties were subjected to drought stress at flowering stage,and then the relative water content,soluble sugar content,chlorophyll content,malondialdehyde( MDA) content and superoxide dismutase( SOD) activity in their leaves,as well as their yields were determined. The drought tolerance of the physiological and biochemical indexes was scored by five-level scoring method,and the drought tolerance index was calculated by the yield index to comprehensively evaluate the drought tolerance of maize during flowering stage. The results showed that the scores of drought tolerance of the maize varieties ranged from 1. 929 3 to 5. 659 5. Among them,the scores of Zhengda 619,Guidan 162 and Guidan 0810 were greater than 5. 0,followed by Dika 008,Xianyu 30 T60,Xianzhengda 901,Qingnong 68,South America No. 1 and Wanchuan 1306 of which the scores were in the range of 4. 0-5. 0. The drought tolerance indexes were in the range of 0. 410 4-1. 096 3. Among the test maize varieties,the drought tolerance indexes of Guidan 0810,Pacific 99 and Zhengda 619 were greater than 1. 0,and those of Xianyu 30 T60,Dika 008 and South America No. 1 were in the range of 0. 9-1. 0. The correlation between the two kinds of evaluation results was 0. 588 7 and was extremely significant. The five-level scoring method and the drought tolerance index can be used simultaneously for the evaluation of drought tolerance of maize during flowering stage. 13Effect of Foliar Application of Selenium Fertilizer on Yield,Selenium Content and Heavy Metal Contents of Waxy Maize显示文摘[Objectives]This study aimed to explore the effect of different concentrations of selenium fertilizer on the yield,selenium content and heavy metal contents of waxy maize,thereby providing reference for the scientific application of selenium fertilizer on waxy maize.[Methods]Different varieties of waxy maize(Guitiannuo 611,Guinuo 615 and Guiheinuo 609)were used as test materials.They were sprayed with different concentrations(0,0.5,1.0,1.5 and 2.0 g/L)of water-soluble selenium fertilizer(Xinxibao)at the big flare stage,and the effect on the yield,selenium content and heavy metal contents of the waxy maize was analyzed.[Results]Foliar application of different concentrations of selenium fertilizer showed no significant effect on the yield and yield components of waxy maize.As the concentration of selenium fertilizer increased,the grain selenium content of different varieties of waxy maize increased.Among them,the increase of Guinuo 615 was the largest,of which the selenium content reached 0.265 mg/kg,2.82 times that of the control(water).The cadmium and arsenic contents of different varieties of waxy maize decreased with the increase of the concentration of selenium fertilizer sprayed.Among the waxy maize varieties,the cadmium and arsenic contents of Guitiannuo 611 dropped the most significantly,up to 52.94%and 77.78%.In waxy maize,the correlation coefficients between selenium content and cadmium,arsenic contents were-0.5509(P<0.05)and-0.8530(P<0.01),respectively.[Conclusions]Spraying exogenous selenium fertilizer had no obvious effect on the yield of waxy maize.However,the increase of the concentration of exogenous selenium fertilizer could significantly increase the selenium content and reduce the cadmium and arsenic contents in grains of different varieties of waxy maize.Chenglin ZOU Ruining ZHAI Kaijian HUANG Hua TAN Debo ZHENG Aihua HUANG Xinxing WEI Runxiu MO Faqian XIONG Hui WEI Shanzhu WEI 2020Asian Agricultural Research2020,12,8:0
14Promoting the optoelectronic and ferromagnetic properties of Cr_(2)S_(3)nanosheets via Se doping显示文摘Doping can change the band structure of semiconductors,thereby affecting their electrical,optical,and magnetic properties.In this study,we describe the synthesis of two-dimensional(2D)Se-doped Cr_(2)S_(3)(Se-Cr_(2)S_(3))nanosheets using the chemical vapor deposition method.In these semiconductor nanosheets,the Se doping concentration can be controlled by tuning the Se/S mass ratio in the precursor.At the doping concentrations of 10.05%and 2.05%,the room temperature conductivity and mobility were increased by nearly 4 and 2 orders of magnitude,respectively.In addition,the response time of an ultrathin Se-Cr_(2)S_(3)photodetector was 200 times shorter than that of an undoped Cr_(2)S_(3)nanosheet photodetector.4.07%-Se-Cr_(2)S_(3)nanosheets show ferrimagnetic behavior with a Curie temperature of~200 K,which is 80 K higher than that of undoped Cr_(2)S_(3)nanosheets.A density functional theory calculation indicated that the Se doping can induce the formation of intercalated Cr vacancies in SeCr_(2)S_(3)and enhance its metallic characteristics.Our results demonstrated that Se-Cr_(2)S_(3)has significant potential in future electronic,optoelectronic,and spintronic devices.Xinyun Zhou Chang Liu Lingting Song Hongmei Zhang Ziwei Huang Chenglin He Bailing Li Xiaohui Lin Zucheng Zhang Shun Shi Dingyi Shen Rong Song Jia Li Xingqiang Liu Xuming Zou Le Huang Lei Liao Xidong Duan Bo Li 2022Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2022,65,7:0
15Changes of Lipid Profile and C-Reactive Protein after Withdrawal of Xuezhikang,an Extract of Cholestin,in Patients With Stable Angina Pectoris显示文摘Objectives In addition to its lipid-lowering properties,statin decreases the level of C-reactive protein(CRP) resulting in reduction of cardiovascular events.However,information about discontinuation of statin therapy in stable cardiac patients is limited.This was a prospective cohort study to explore whether withdrawal of statin treatment could result in rebound of inflammation in patients with stable angina pectoris in a short-term course.Methods and Results 75 patients with stable angina pectoris were randomly divided into three groups:① Pretreatment with Xuezhikang(XZK,an extract of cholestin) for 6 weeks and then replaced by placebo;② Treatment with XZK throughout the study;③ Placebo.Lipid levels,highly sensitive CRP(hs-CRP) and serum cardiac troponin T(cTnT) were assessed before receiving the XZK therapy,1 day before discontinuation of XZK,and on day 1,2,3,7 and 14 after discontinuation of XZK,respectively.At day 14 after discontinuation of XZK therapy,total cholesterol,LDL-C and triglyceride significantly increased,whereas HDL-C level significantly decr-eased.The median level of hs-CRP increased signi-ficantly from the second day after withdrawal of XZK therapy.There was a prominent rebound of hs-CRP concentration 3 days after discontinuation of XZK therapy.7 to 14 days after discontinuation of XZK therapy,the hs-CRP concentration declined to a similar level as in the placebo group.Elevated cTnT level did not occur throughout the study course in either group.Conclusions Short-term discontinuation of statin therapy could induce a rapid rebound phenomenon of inflammatory response independently of changes of lipid parameters.However,it was not enough to induce myocardial injury in this cohort of patients with stable angina pectoris.Hu Chenglin Xiang Jizhou Li Yanbo Zou Yongguang Liu Jun Tang Qizhu Huang Congxin 2006South China Journal of Cardiology2006,7,2:0
16Comprehensive Evaluation of New Maize Varieties for Grain and Fodder Based on Membership Function Method显示文摘To screen new maize(Zea mays L.)varieties suitable for food and fodder dual-purpose in Du'an Yao Autonomous County of Guangxi,the agronomic characters,yield and quality indexes of 12 new maize varieties were measured,and the correlation between various indexes were analyzed,and the comprehensive performance of tested varieties was evaluated by membership function method.The results showed that Guidan 671 had the highest grain yield and whole-plant biomass at 10908 and 49965 kg/hm^(2),respectively,and the second was Zhaoyu 215 with a grain yield and whole-plant biomass of 10086 and 47175 kg/hm^(2),respectively.Grain yield was highly significantly positively correlated with ear diameter and 100-grain weight(P<0.01),and significantly correlated with whole-plant biomass,starch content,ear length and grain number per row(P<0.05);and the whole-plant biomass was highly significantly correlated with the number of grains per row(P<0.01),and significantly correlated with starch content,panicle length,plant height and panicle height(P<0.05).The comprehensive performance scores of the tested varieties from high to low were Guidan 671,Zhaoyu 215,Guidan 669,Guidan 6208,Guidan 666,Guidan 6205,Guidan 660,Guidan 6203,Guidan 6206,Guidan 162,Guidan 668 and Guidan 673.According to the values of membership function and combined with various indexes,Guidan 671 and Zhaoyu 215 had good comprehensive performance,and could be used as the first choice for food and fodder dual-purpose maize varieties in Du'an Yao Autonomous County.Chenglin ZOU Qiongxiang LIN Kaijian HUANG Ruining ZHAI Meng YANG Aihua HUANG Runxiu MO Xinxing WEI Yanfen HUANG 2023Agricultural Biotechnology2023,12,2:0

18Effect of Drought Stress on Proteome of Maize Grain during Grain Filling显示文摘Based on isobaric tags for relative and absolute quantification(iTRAQ)technology,the proteome of grains of a maize cultivar Huangzao 4 under drought stress at grain filling stage was analyzed.The results show that under drought stress,438 proteins were differentially expressed in the maize grains during grain filling.Among them,200 were up-regulated and 238 were down-regulated.The gene ontology(GO)analysis shows that the biological processes in which differential proteins are more involved are cellular processes,metabolic processes and single biological processes;proteins in the cell component category are mainly distributed in cells,cell parts and organelles;and the proteins the molecular function category mainly possess catalytic activity and binding function.Differentially expressed proteins classified by COG are mainly involved in protein post-translational modification and transport,molecular chaperones,general functional genes,translation,ribosomal structure,biosynthesis,energy production and transformation,carbohydrate transport and metabolism,amino acid transport and metabolism,etc.The subcellular structure of the differentially expressed proteins is mainly located in the cell chloroplast and cytosol.The proportions are 35.01%and 30.21%respectively.KEGG metabolic pathway enrichment analysis shows that the differentially expressed proteins are mostly involved in antibiotic biosynthesis,microbial metabolism in different environments,and endoplasmic reticulum protein processing;the metabolic pathways with higher enrichment are the carbon fixation pathway and estrogen signaling pathway of prokaryotes;and the higher enrichment and greater significance are in the tricarboxylic acid cycle,carbon fixation of photosynthetic organisms and proteasome.The results of this study preliminarily reveal the adaptive mechanism of maize grains in response to drought stress during grain filling,providing a theoretical reference for maize drought-resistant molecular breeding.Chenglin ZOU Debo ZHENG Hua TAN Kaijian HUANG Aihua HUANG Xinxing WEI Runxiu MO Ruining ZHAI 2021Asian Agricultural Research2021,13,1:0
