| 1 | Concentrations and contamination trends of heavy metals in the sediment cores of Taihu Lake,East China,and their relationship with historical eutrophication显示文摘To assess the contamination trends and potential bio-availability of sediment-bound heavy metals,concentrations of heavy metals in acid-leaching fraction and in bulk sediments from the two typical bays(the Meiliang Bay and Xuhu Bay) of the Taihu Lake,East China,were studied.Pb and Zn showed elevated concentrations in the sediments from both areas,although sedimentation history and degree of pollution are different between the two bays.In the Meiliang Bay,both Pb and Zn pollutions started in the late 1970's,the same time as the beginning of eutrophication of the lake,while the in the Xuhu Bay the metal contamination started since recent 10 years.The concentrations of acid-leachable Pb in the sediments from the Meiliang Bay are correlated with the historical eutrophication process.Before the eutrophication and heavy metal pollution,the chemical properties of the lake sediments were the same as the source compositions of the Xiashu loess.Both Pb and Zn in the sediments mainly occur in leachable forms by nitric or hydrochloric acid,whilst most of Cu is in residual fraction.The results indicate that both Pb and Zn may have higher mobility and bioavailability in water and biology than Cu. | JIN Zhangdong CHENG Hangxin CHEN Li LI Xiangdong ZHU Guangwei ZHUANG Guangmin QIAN Na | 2010 | Chinese Journal Of Geochemistry2010,29,1: | 4 |

| 3 | Effects of Exogenous 5-Aminolevulinic Acid and 24-Epibrassinolide on Cd Accumulation in Rice from Cd-Contaminated Soil显示文摘High grain-Cd-accumulating rice variety Yongyou 9 was planted in Cd-contaminated farmland in Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, China to study the effects of 5-aminolevulinic acid(ALA) and24-epibrassinolide(EBR) on Cd accumulation in brown rice. Results showed that the exogenous ALA and EBR had no significant effects on agronomic traits, soil pH and total Cd content in soil, but had some effects on the available Cd content in soil, and significantly influenced the Cd accumulation in the different parts of rice. Results also showed that 100 mg/L exogenous ALA significantly reduced the Cd accumulation in brown rice to blow the food safety standard(0.2 mg/kg), and also significantly reduced the Cd contents in the roots and culm of rice. However, 200 mg/L exogenous ALA treatment increased the Cd content in brown rice remarkably. In addition, 0.15 mg/L EBR treatment increased Cd accumulation in roots, culm, leaves and brown rice notably, whereas 0.30 mg/L exogenous EBR treatment reduced the Cd accumulation in brown rice properly, but it was not significant. | 8 | Spin-orbit-locked hyperbolic polariton vortices carrying reconfigurable topological charges显示文摘The topological features of optical vortices have been opening opportunities for free-space and on-chip photonic technologies,e.g.,for multiplexed optical communications and robust information transport.In a parallel but disjoint effort,polar anisotropic van der Waals nanomaterials supporting hyperbolic phonon polaritons(HP2s)have been leveraged to drastically boost light-matter interactions.So far HP2 studies have been mainly focusing on the control of their amplitude and scale features.Here we report the generation and observation of mid-infrared hyperbolic polariton vortices(HP2Vs)associated with reconfigurable topological charges.Spiral-shaped gold disks coated with a flake of hexagonal boron nitride are exploited to tailor spin-orbit interactions and realise deeply subwavelength HP2Vs.The complex interplay between excitation spin,spiral geometry and HP2 dispersion enables robust reconfigurability of the associated topological charges.Our results reveal unique opportunities to extend the application of HP2s into topological photonics,quantum information processing by integrating these phenomena with single-photon emitters,robust on-chip optical applications,sensing and nanoparticle manipulation. | Mingsong Wang Guangwei Hu Saroj Chand Michele Cotrufo Yohannes Abate Kenji Watanabe Takashi Taniguchi Gabriele Grosso Cheng‑Wei Qiu Andrea Alù | 2022 | eLight2022,2,1: | 1 |

| 10 | Crystal Growth and Characterization of Ca3NbGa3Si2O14 Single Crystal显示文摘Single crystals of Ca3NbGa3Si2O14 (CNGS) with ordered Ca3Ga2Ge4O14 (CGG) structure were successfully grown from stoichiometric melts by conventional Czochralski technique along the a-axis and two large (001) facets and two small (100) facets appear in every crystal. An arrangement of parallel steps and a clear height change were observed in (001) facet by atomic force microscopy (AFM). High-resolution X-ray diffraction (HRXRD) results indicate that CNGS crystals have good quality and free low-angle boundaries.
