| 1 | Comparison of Clinical Efficacy of Three Surgical Methods in the Treatment of Pterygium显示文摘Purpose:To investigate and compare the efficacy of amniotic membrane transplantation,corneal limbus stem cell conjunctival transplantation and pedicle conjunctival flap transposition in the treatment of pterygium.Methods:.A total of 155 patients with pterygium were retrospectively analyted:.53 cases who received amniotic membrane transplantation,.41 who underwent corneal limbus stem cells conjunctival transplantation,and 61 patients who had pedicle conjunctival flap transposition.Results:Patients in the three groups had no significant differences in terms of age,times since surgery,or extent of pterygium extension onto the cornea (F:1.194,0.639,0.140 respectively;all P>0.05)..A total of 137 out of 155 patients (88.4%) completed 6 months of follow up.The recurrence rates of pterygium for the three surgeries (amniotic membrane transplantation,.corneal limbus stem cells conjunctival transplantation and pedicle conjunctival flap transposition) were 14.6%,13.9% and 7.7%,respectively.No significant difference was identified when comparing the recurrence rate between any two groups(X2:.0.008,1.211 and 0.890;P:0.593,0.218 and 0.276)..Five patients presented with postoperative complications,.including 3 cases of sub-conjunctival hemorrhage,1 case of amniotic membrane dissolution,and 1 case of conjunctival cyst,accounting for 3.64% of all participants.Conclusion:These three surgical methods are equally effective in preventing the recurrence of pterygium after excision. | Chaoming Yu Weiliang Liang Yongyu Huang Weiwen Guan | 2011 | Eye Science2011,26,4: | 14 |
| 2 | Pan-African and early Paleozoic tectonothermal events in the Nyainrong microcontinent:Constraints from geochronology and geochemistry显示文摘To better understand the Pan-African-early Paleozoic tectonothermal events of the Nyainrong microcontinent and the constraints on its tectonic evolution,here we report the results of zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating and geochemical features of Amdo gneiss in the Nyainrong microcontinent.The outcrops of Amdo gneiss is about 30 km south of Amdo County in northern Tibet.The field occurrence,mineral composition,textural characteristics,and whole-rock geochemical features of the four gneiss samples indicate the protolith of the gneisses is intermediate-acid intrusive rock.Gneiss zircon trace element tracing and genetic analysis shows that zircon has typical characteristics of magmatic zircon.The206Pb/238U concordant age of zircon is505–517 Ma,corresponding to the Middle-Late Cambrian,which is the formation age of the protolith.The samples have characteristics of high silicon,alkali-rich,alkalic rate AR=1.73–3.7,the differentiation index DI=70.78–90.28;rock aluminum saturation index ranges from 1.02 to 1.05,FeO/MgO ranges from 2.63 to 4.50,10000×Ga/Al ranges from 2.12 to 2.41,and P2O5and Al2O3content decreased with SiO2increasing.Th and Y contents have a good positive correlation with Rb content;the genetic type of protolith of the gneiss is the differentiation of subalkaline over aluminum I-type granite.Combined with regional data,the tectonic setting of the Amdo gneiss protolith is closely related to the collision orogenic process.The preliminary view is that the Middle-Late Cambrian magmatic events developed on the microcontinent could be the result of Andeantype orogeny along the Gondwana super-continental margin after the end of the Pan-African orogeny. | XIE ChaoMing LI Cai SU Li WU YanWang XIE YaoWu | 2013 | Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,12: | 11 |
| 3 | Petrology, Geochemistry and Geochronology of Gabbros from the Zhongcang Ophiolitic Mélange, Central Tibet: Implications for an Intra-Oceanic Subduction Zone within the Neo-Tethys Ocean显示文摘In order to investigate the evolution of Shiquanhe-Yongzhu-Jiali ophiolitic mélange belt, the gabbros from new discovered Zhongcang ophiolitic mélange are studied through petrology, whole-rock geochemistry, zircon U-Pb dating and Lu-Hf isotope. The gabbros investigated in this paper contain cumulate gabbro and gabbro dike, and they have undergone greenschist-amphibolite facies metamorphism. The chondrite normalized rare earth element(REE) patterns of most of these rocks show flat types with slightly light REE(LREE) depletion and the N-MORB normalized incompatible elements diagrams indicate depletion in high field strength elements(HFSE)(Nb, Ta) and enrichment in large ion lithophile elements(LILE). These gabbros have island arc and mid-ocean ridge basalt affinities, suggesting that they were originated in an oceanic back arc basin. Whole rock geochemistry and high positive εNd(t) values show that these gabbros were derived from ~30% partial melting of a spinel lherzolite mantle, which was enriched by interaction with slab-derived fluids and melts from sediment. U-Pb analyses of zircons from cumulate gabbro yield a weighted mean age of 114.3±1.4 Ma. | 4 | Opening of the Longmu Co–Shuanghu–Lancangjiang ocean:constraints from plagiogranites显示文摘This paper reports new zircon U-Pb ages,and Hf isotope and whole-rock major and trace element data for Cambrian plagiogranites from the Tuobeiling ophiolite in central Qiangtang,Tibetan Plateau.Zircon SIMS and LAICP-MS U-Pb dating of the plagiogranites yield weighted mean ages of 504.8±4.2 and 491.6±1.5 Ma,respectively.The zircons from plagiogranites exhibit positive eHf(t)values(ranging from 11.46 to 15.16),indicating that the plagiogranites are derived from depleted mantle.These plagiogranites are characterized by high SiO2and Na2O,low K2O,low REE contents,and flat REE distribution patterns.These rocks have geochemical compositions typical of oceanic plagiogranite and,considered along with their petrography and field relationships,are interpreted to have derived from anatexis of hydrated amphibolites by ductile shearing during transports of the oceanic crust.The formation age of such type of plagiogranite is slightly younger than that of the associated section of oceanic crust.Thus the new results from these plagiogranites suggest that the Longmu Co–Shuanghu–Lancangjiang ocean had probably opened before the Middle Cambrian. | Peiyuan Hu Cai Li Yanwang Wu Chaoming Xie Ming Wang Jiao Li | 2014 | Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,25: | 9 |
| 5 | Petrology, Geochemistry and Tectonic Significance of the Metamorphic Peridotites from Longmuco-Shuanghu Ophiolitic Melange belt, Tibet显示文摘Taoxinghu metamorphic peridotite is a firstly reported mantle sequence of ophiolite since Longmuco-Shuanghu-Lancangjiang suture zone (LSLSZ) was proposed, and it is also an important discovered for ophiolite studying in central Qiangtang. Based on detailed analyses of whole-rock geochemistry of Taoxinghu metamorphic peridotites and contrast to metamorphic peridotites in typical ophiolites worldwide, the paper investigates their petrogenesis and geological implication. The petrologic results show that the protolith of Taoxinghu metamorphic perdotites have the mineral assemblage and texture characteristic of mantle peridotite. Most metamorphic peridotites hav near global abyssal peridotites major elements contents, while the few is similar to SSZ-type peridotites. They exhibit typically U-shaped REE patterns, characterized by slight enrichment of LREE and HREE relative to MREE and a low fractionated LREE to HREE segment. Trace elements contents are low and all samples are strong enrichment in Cs, U, Pb, weak enrichment in Ba and depletion in Th, but negative Nb anomalies are only observed in few samples. That suggests Taoxinghu metamorphic peridotites have depletion mantle and suprasubduction affinities. A two-stage evolution history is considered: Taoxinghu metamorphic peridotites originated as the residue from melting at a ridge with 7%-20% degree of fraction melting and were subsequently modified by interaction with mafic melt and aqueous fluid within mantle wedge on subducted zone. | 6 | Mussel-inspired nanozyme catalyzed conductive and self-setting hydrogel for adhesive and antibacterial bioelectronics显示文摘Adhesive hydrogels have broad applications ranging from tissue engineering to bioelectronics;however,fabricating adhesive hydrogels with multiple functions remains a challenge.In this study,a mussel-inspired tannic acid chelated-Ag(TA-Ag)nanozyme with peroxidase(POD)-like activity was designed by the in situ reduction of ultrasmall Ag nanoparticles(NPs)with TA.The ultrasmall TA-Ag nanozyme exhibited high catalytic activity to induce hydrogel self-setting without external aid.The nanozyme retained abundant phenolic hydroxyl groups and maintained the dynamic redox balance of phenol-quinone,providing the hydrogels with long-term and repeatable adhesiveness,similar to the adhesion of mussels.The phenolic hydroxyl groups also afforded uniform distribution of the nanozyme in the hydrogel network,thereby improving its mechanical properties and conductivity.Furthermore,the nanozyme endowed the hydrogel with antibacterial activity through synergistic effects of the reactive oxygen species generated via POD-like catalytic reactions and the intrinsic bactericidal activity of Ag.Owing to these advantages,the ultrasmall TA-Ag nanozyme-catalyzed hydrogel could be effectively used as an adhesive,antibacterial,and implantable bioelectrode to detect bio-signals,and as a wound dressing to accelerate tissue regeneration while preventing infection.Therefore,this study provides a promising approach for the fabrication of adhesive hydrogel bioelectronics with multiple functions via mussel-inspired nanozyme catalysis. | Zhanrong Jia Xuanhan Lv Yue Hou Kefeng Wang Fuzeng Ren Dingguo Xu Qun Wang Kelong Fan Chaoming Xie Xiong Lu | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,9: | 7 |
| 7 | Zircon U-Pb Age,Geochemical Data:Constraints on the Origin and Tectonic Evolution of the Metamafic Rocks from Longmuco-Shuanghu-Lancang Suture Zone,Tibet显示文摘Bulk-rock major and trace elements and zircon U-Pb data are reported for Permian metamafic rocks from Guoganjianan, in the western part of Longmuco-Shuanghu-Lancang suture zone. These results offer new insights into mantle source characteristics and geodynamic setting of Permian ophiolitic fragments. U-Pb isotopic dating using SHRIMP II method reveals that the metamafic rocks were formed at 274.7± 3.9 and 279.8± 3.6 Ma. The metamafic rocks mostly show N-MORB-typed rare earth element patterns and are enrichment in large-ion lithophile elements, indicating that they are probably derived from partial melting of a depleted mantle in a back-arc basin. Our new data, together with recent studied results on Paleozoic ophiolitic fragments suggest the Paleo-Tethys Ocean in Central Qiangtang opened at Cambrian and widened between Ordovician and Devonian. | 8 | Modeling of fast charging station equipped with energy storage显示文摘The popularization of EVs(electric vehicles) has brought an increasingly heavy burden to the development of charging facilities. To meet the demand of rapid energy supply during the driving period, it is necessary to establish a fast charging station in public area. However, EVs arrive at the charging station randomly and connect to the distribution network for fast charging, it causes the grid power to fluctuate greatly and the peak-valley loads to alternate frequently, which is harmful to the stability of distribution network. In order to reduce the power fluctuation of random charging, the energy storage is used for fast charging stations. The queuing model is determined to demonstrate the load characteristics of fast charging station, and the state space of fast charging station system is described by Markov chain. After that the power of grid and energy storage is quantified as the number of charging pile, and each type of power is configured rationally to establish the random charging model of energy storage fast charging station. | 10 | The Petrology, Geochemistry, and Petrogenesis of E-MORB-type Mafic Rocks from the Guomangco Ophiolitic Mélange, Tibet显示文摘The Guomangco ophiolitic mélange is situated in the middle part of the Shiquanhe–Yongzhu–Jiali ophiolitic mélange belt(SYJMB) and possesses all the subunits of a typical Penrosetype ophiolite pseudostratigraphy. The study of the Guomangco ophiolitic mélange is very important for investigating the tectonic evolution of the SYJMB. The mafic rocks of this ophiolitic mélange mainly include diabases, sillite dikes, and basalts. Geochemical analysis shows that these dikes mostly have E-MORB major and trace element signatures; this is the first time that this has been observed in the SYJMB. The basalts have N-MORB and IAB affinities, and the mineral chemistry of harzburgites shows a composition similar to that of SSZ peridotites, indicating that the Guomangco ophiolitic mélange probably originated in a back-arc basin. The Guomangco back-arc basin opened in the Middle Jurassic, which was caused by southward subduction of the Neo-Tethys Ocean in central Tibet. The main spreading of this back-arc basin occurred during the Late Jurassic, and the basalts were formed during this time. With the development of the back-arc basin, the subducted slab gradually retreated, and new mantle convection occurred in the mantle wedge. The recycling may have caused the metasomatized mantle to undergo a high degree of partial melting and to generate EMORBs in the Early Cretaceous. | 11 | Reduced macular inner retinal thickness and microvascular density in the early stage of patients with dysthyroid optic neuropathy显示文摘Background:The goal was to investigate changes of the inner intra-retinal layer thicknesses and retinal capillary density(RCD)around the macula in thyroid-associated ophthalmopathy(TAO)patients with or without dysthyroid optic neuropathy(DON).Methods:Forty-four TAO patients including 23 non-DON and 21 DON patients,and 38 healthy participants were enrolled.Spectral domain optical coherence tomography equipped with Angiovue was used to obtain threedimensional retinal thickness maps and microvascular images of the superficial and deep retinal capillary layers(SRCL and DRCL,respectively)around the macula.Quantitative analyses were performed using a custom automated algorithm.Results:The thicknesses of the nerve fiber layer,ganglion cell layer+inner plexiform layer,and ganglion cell complex(GCC)as well as the RCDs in the SRCL and DRCL in both TAO groups were significantly decreased compared to the controls.In addition,the RCDs in DRCL of the DON group were further decreased compared to the non-DON group.GCC thickness in both TAO groups was positively correlated with the RCDs of the SRCL in the total annular zone and in the temporal,inferior,and nasal sectors.The areas under the receiver operating characteristic curves for the GCC thickness combined with the RCD were generally larger than those of each single indicator.Conclusions:Thinned inner intra-retinal layers and decreased RCDs in the TAO patients without DON revealed that morphological changes might precede visual dysfunction.The composite index of the retinal structure and the microvascular density might be valuable in the diagnosing,monitoring,and intervention for early DON. | Yufei Wu Yunhai Tu Chaoming Wu Lulu Bao Jianhua Wang Fan Lu Meixiao Shen Qi Chen | 2020 | Eye and Vision2020,7,1: | 3 |

| 14 | Nonlinearity Modulating Intensities and Spatial Structures of Central Pacific and Eastern Pacific El Nio Events显示文摘This paper compares data from linearized and nonlinear Zebiak–Cane model, as constrained by observed sea surface temperature anomaly(SSTA), in simulating central Pacific(CP) and eastern Pacific(EP) El Nio. The difference between the temperature advections(determined by subtracting those of the linearized model from those of the nonlinear model),referred to here as the nonlinearly induced temperature advection change(NTA), is analyzed. The results demonstrate that the NTA records warming in the central equatorial Pacific during CP El Nio and makes fewer contributions to the structural distinctions of the CP El Nio, whereas it records warming in the eastern equatorial Pacific during EP El Nio, and thus significantly promotes EP El Nio during El Nio–type selection. The NTA for CP and EP El Nio varies in its amplitude,and is smaller in CP El Nio than it is in EP El Nio. These results demonstrate that CP El Nio are weakly modulated by small intensities of NTA, and may be controlled by weak nonlinearity; whereas, EP El Nio are significantly enhanced by large amplitudes of NTA, and are therefore likely to be modulated by relatively strong nonlinearity. These data could explain why CP El Nio are weaker than EP El Nio. | 16 | Preparation of Fe3O4-octadecyltrichlorosilane for Removal of Methyl Orange and Methylene Blue:Influence of p H and Ionic Strength on Competitive Adsorption显示文摘Fe_3O_4-octadecyltrichlorosilane(Fe_3O_4-OTS)was synthesized and used to remove dyes in a competitive system.Fe_3O_4-OTS was prepared by slow hydrolysis of OTS in cyclohexane on the surface of Fe_3O_4obtained through coprecipitation method.Scanning electron microscope(SEM),energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS),and contact angle analyzer(CA)were used to analyze the properties of Fe_3O_4-OTS.Methyl orange(MO)and methylene blue(MB)were selected as model molecules to study the influence mechanism of p H and ionic strength on competitive adsorption.The results of EDS and CA indicated that Fe_3O_4 was modified successfully with OTS on the surface.Silicon appeared and carbon content increased obviously on the surface of adsorbent.Contact angle of adsorbent increased from 0~o to 107~o after being modified by OTS.Fe_3O_4-OTS showed good separation for MO and MB in competitive system,which has potential to separate dyes in sewage.Separation factor(β~O_B)changed from 18.724 to 0.017,when p H changed from 7 to 12,revealing that MO and MB could be separated almost thoroughly by Fe_3O_4-OTS.p H could change the surface charge of Fe_3O_4-OTS and structure of dyes,and thus change the interactions of competitive system indirectly.Even though hydrophobic interaction was enhanced,ionic strength reduced the difference of electrostatic interaction between dyes and Fe_3O_4-OTS.So it is unfavorable to separate dyes with opposite charges when ionic strength increases.These findings may provide theoretical guidances to separate two-component dye pollutants. | 胡耀强 QUAN Chaoming GUO Min 叶秀深 吴志坚 | 2017 | Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2017,32,6: | 2 |
| 17 | Associated risk factors in the early stage of diabetic retinopathy显示文摘Background:To investigate the retinal capillary density(RCD)of the macula using optical coherence tomography angiography(OCT-A)in type 2 diabetic patients and to further determine the association with risk factors.Methods:A total of 212 eyes from 212 subjects were recruited;subjects included diabetics with no retinopathy(NDR,n=90 eyes),diabetics with mild retinopathy DR(MDR,n=36 eyes),and healthy participants(Control,n=86 eyes).All participants underwent OCT-A scanning.RCD was quantified by superficial and deep retinal capillary layers(SRCL and DRCL)from OCT-A images.Results:RCD in SRCL and DRCL was lower in NDR(P<0.001)as well as in MDR(P<0.001)when compared with control eyes.Diabetic patients were subdivided according to individual risk factors,complications related to diabetes,and hyperglycemia.Diabetic patients showed lower RCD in both the SRCL and DRCL when compared with healthy controls.Diabetics with age>55y,HbA1c>7%had significantly reduced DRCL(P<0.05)when compared with the other group of diabetics(age<55y,HbA1c<7%).Diabetics with a blood urea nitrogen(BUN)>8.2 mmol/L had significantly reduced SRCL and DRCL when compared to the other group of diabetics.Conclusions:Risk factors including older age,higher level of HbA1c,LDL-C and BUN,were associated with lower RCDs found in type 2 diabetic patients with and without mild DR by OCT-A.The impairment of retinal capillary by OCT-A may play a key role in the early monitoring of management in diabetes. | Fan Tan Qi Chen Xiran Zhuang Chaoming Wu Yanying Qian Yuanyuan Wang Jianhua Wang Fan Lu Meixiao Shen Yingzi Li | 2019 | Eye and Vision2019,6,1: | 2 |
