1Micromorphology of landslide soil Case study on the Jibazi landslide in Yunyang in the Three Gorges Region, China显示文摘Landslide is one of natural catastrophes affecting national economy and people’s livelihood There are many reports on the forming mechanism and control of landslide, but the studies on micromorphology of landslide soil are few. There are many potential landslides in the Three Gorges Region in China. In this paper, the micromorphologic features of the Jibazi landslide soil in Yunyang in the Three Gorges Region of the Yangtze River were studied using routine methods, that is, soil micro- morphology, X-ray diffractometer and scanning electron microscope. The main conclusions are as follow: (1) The basic micromorphologic characteristics of the landslide soil are that the fine soil particles are commonly cohesive matrix, finer and lower content o skeleton grains, the microstructures are mainly types of phenocrystal gelatinization, densely chap and fissure structure. As a result, these micromorphologic features affect the discharging of soil water, favor the movement of landslide body and provide an interna basis of materials for the formation of landslide. (2) The concept on the forming material of landslide was proposed, and types of optical beamed clay aggregates Fe-Mn isolates and glassy material were found in landslide-belt soil, which were remarkably differen from the natural soil formation, and had some scientific significance in analyzing the formingmechanism of landslide and distinguishing the landslide-belt soil. (3) Some special micromor- phologic and sub-micromorphologic characteristics, such as fingerprint microstructure, clay beamed bedding microstructure, oppressive microstructure, moulage microstructure and extending hole microstructure, could bring useful micromorphologic evidences for the observation and forecasting of landslide. 3Digital medical education empowered by intelligent fabric space显示文摘Medical education plays an important role in promoting the development of global medical science.Nevertheless,the intrinsic gap existing between institutional medical teaching and practical clinical tasks causes low education efficiency and students’weak initiative.Recent developments of sensing fabric and embedded computing,along with the advances in artificial intelligence(AI)and digital twin technology are paving the way for the transformation of medical research towards digitization.In this work,we present an intelligent fabric space based on novel functional fabric materials and digital twin networking enabled by 5G and internet of things(IoT)technologies.In this space,medical students can learn knowledge with collaborative mapping of the digital and real world,cyber-physical interaction and real-time tactile feedback.And the proposed service system will evaluate and feedback students’operational behaviors to improve their experimental skills.We provide four typical applications of intelligent fabric space for medical education,including medical education training,health and behavior tracking,operation playback and reproduction,as well as medical knowledge popularization.The proposed intelligent fabric space has the potential to promote innovative technologies for training cutting-edge medical students by effective and efficient ways.Min Chen Rui Wang Rui Wang Yingting Zhou Zicheng He Xiaojuan Liu Muyao He Jiaxi Wang Chaolin Huang Huamin Zhou Ping Hong Chong Hou Ning Zhou Dingyu Zhang Guangming Tao 2022National Science Open2022,1,1:2
4Neurons in Primary Motor Cortex Encode Hand Orientation in a Reach-to-Grasp Task显示文摘It is disputed whether those neurons in the primary motor cortex(M1) that encode hand orientation constitute an independent channel for orientation control in reach-to-grasp behaviors. Here, we trained two monkeys to reach forward and grasp objects positioned in the frontal plane at different orientation angles, and simultaneously recorded the activity of M1 neurons. Among the 2235 neurons recorded in M1, we found that 18.7% had a high correlation exclusively with hand orientation, 15.9% with movement direction, and 29.5% with both movement direction and hand orientation. The distributions of neurons encoding hand orientation and those encoding movement direction were not uniform but coexisted in the same region. The trajectory of hand rotation was reproduced by the firing patterns of the orientation-related neurons independent of the hand reaching direction. 5Fractal Characteristic of Soil in Typical Debris Flow-Triggering Region:A Case Study in Jiangjia Ravine of Dongchuan, Yunnan显示文摘The structural features of soil in debris flow-triggering region play an important role in the formation and evolution of debris flow. In this paper, a case study on the fractal of soil particle-size distribution (PSDFs) and pore-solid (PSFs) in Jiangjia Ravine was conducted. The results revealed that the soil in Jiangjia Ravine had significant fractal features and its PSDF and PSF had the same variation trend despite different type of soils in debris flow-triggering region: residual soil (RS)>debris flow deposit (DFD)>clinosol (CL), their fractal dimension of PSDFs are respectively between 2.62 and 2.96, 2.52 and 2.68, 2.37 and 2.52; and the fractal dimension of PSFs are respectively between 2.75 and 2.95 , 2.57 and 2.72, 2.59 and 2.64. 6RR1 and RR2 gene deletion affects the immunogenicity of a live attenuated pseudorabies virus vaccine candidate in natural pig host显示文摘As virulence-determining genes, RR1 and RR2 encode the small subunit and large subunit of viral ribonucleotide reductase(RR) in pseudorabies virus which have been extensively studied in mice. However,their role in pigs has not been adequately investigated. In this study, we deleted RR1 and RR2 genes based on a TK/g E/g I triple gene-deleted pseudorabies virus and tested its efficacy in pigs as a vaccine candidate. The rescued virus showed similar growth properties and plaque size in vitro as its parent strain. In an animal study, the virus could elicit humoral immune responses shown by generation of g B-specific antibodies and virus neutralizing antibodies.However, vaccination could not provide protection against virulent pseudorabies virus challenge since vaccinated pigs showed clinical pseudorabies-specific syndromes. 7基于图论算法的脊髓损伤后大脑皮层运动区神经元网络分析显示文摘脊髓损伤(SCI)后大脑皮层运动区神经元的功能重组对机体功能康复的影响仍然不为人知。脊髓损伤前后,对一只在跑步机上直立行走的恒河猴的大脑皮层运动区神经元信号进行记录,利用不同神经元动作电位序列间的相关系数建立神经元网络图。为了研究神经元活动模式的变化与功能康复之间的联系,利用图论算法计算了神经元网络图的全局效能指标和神经元脆弱性指标。结果显示,不同时期神经元活动模式的显著变化意味着运动区神经元的功能重组(神经可塑性)与脊髓损伤后猴子的功能康复状态紧密相关,且这种神经功能重组对于猴子步行功能的康复起了非常重要的积极作用。霍炎 栗苹 Chaolin MA Hang ZHANG Jiping HE 2012科技导报2012,30,12:0
