1MiR-122 in hepatic function and liver diseases显示文摘As the most abundant liver-specific microRNA,mi-croRNA-122(miR-122)is involved in various physio-logical processes in hepatic function as well as in liver pathology.There is now compelling evidence that miR-122,as a regulator of gene networks and pathways in hepatocytes,plays a central role in diverse aspects of hepatic function and in the progress of liver diseases.This liver-enriched transcription factors-regulated miRNA promotes differentiation of hepatocytes and regulates lipid metabolism.With regard to liver diseases,miR-122 was shown to stimulate hepatitis C virus(HCV)replication through a unique and unusual interaction with two binding sites in the 5′-UTR of HCV genome to mediate the stability of the viral RNA,whereas inhibit the expression and replication of hepatitis B virus(HBV)by a miR-122-cylin G1/p53-HBV enhancer regulatory pathway.In addition,miR-122 acts as a suppressor of cell prolif-eration and malignant transformation of hepatocytes with remarkable tumor inhibition activity.Notably,a clinical trial targeting miR-122 with the anti-miR-122 oli-gonucleotides miravirsen,the first miRNA targeted drug,has been initiated for treatment of HCV infection.With further understanding of the comprehensive roles of miR-122 in hepatic functions and the mechanisms in-volved in miR-122 down-regulation in chronic hepatitis or hepatocellular carcinoma,miR-122 appears to be a promising candidate for effective therapeutic ap-proaches against tumor and infectious diseases.Jun Hu Yaxing Xu Junli Hao Saifeng Wang Changfei Li Songdong Meng 2012Protein & Cell2012,3,5:22
2Development of antimony sulfide–selenide Sb2(S,Se)3-based solar cells显示文摘Antimony sulfide–selenide Sb_2(S,Se)_3,including Sb_2S_3and Sb_2Se_3,can be regarded as binary metal chalcogenides semiconductors since Sb_2S_3and Sb_2Se_3are isomorphous.They possess abundant elemental storage,nontoxicity,good stability with regard to moisture at elevated temperatures and suitable physical parameters for light absorption materials in solar cells.To date,quite a few attempts have been conducted in the materials synthesis,photovoltaic property investigation and device fabrication.Benefiting from previous investigation in thin film solar cells and new generation nanostructured solar cells,this class of materials has been applied in either sensitized-architecture or planar heterojunction solar cells.Decent power conversion efficiencies from 5%to 7.5%have been achieved.Apparently,further improvement on the efficiency is required for future practical applications.To give an overview of this research field,this paper displays some typical researches regarding the methodologies toward the antimony sulfide–selenide synthesis,development of interfacial materials and device fabrications,during which we highlight some critical findings that promote the efficiency enhancement.Finally,this paper proposes some outstanding issue regarding fundamental understanding of the materials,some viewpoints for the efficiency improvement and their future challenges in solar cell applications.Xiaomin Wang Rongfeng Tang Chunyan Wu Changfei Zhu Tao Chen 2018Journal of Energy Chemistry2018,27,3:10
3Development process of muzzle flows including a gun-launched missile显示文摘Numerical investigations on the launch process of a gun-launched missile from the muzzle of a cannon to the free-flight stage have been performed in this paper. The dynamic overlapped grids approach are applied to dealing with the problems of a moving gun-launched missile. The high-resolution upwind scheme(AUSMPW+) and the detailed reaction kinetics model are adopted to solve the chemical non-equilibrium Euler equations for dynamic grids. The development process and flow field structure of muzzle flows including a gun-launched missile are discussed in detail.This present numerical study confirms that complicated transient phenomena exist in the shortly launching stages when the gun-launched missile moves from the muzzle of a cannon to the freeflight stage. The propellant gas flows, the initial environmental ambient air flows and the moving missile mutually couple and interact. 5A High Power 320–356GHz Frequency Multipliers with Schottky Diodes显示文摘A 320–356GHz fixed-tuned frequency doubler is realized with discrete Schottky diodes mounted on 50μm thick quartz substrate. Influence of circuit channel width and thermal dissipation of the diode junctions are discussed for high multiplying efficiency. The doubler circuit is flip-chip mounted on gold electroplated oxygenfree copper film for grounding of RF and DC signals, and better thermal transportation. The whole multiplying circuit is optimized and established in Computer simulation technology(CST) suite. The highest measured multiplying efficiency is 8.0% and its output power is 5.4mW at 328 GHz. 7Design of 85–105GHz Wideband Traveling Wave PIN Diode Switches and Attenuators with Radial Stubs显示文摘Wideband traveling wave PIN Diode switches and attenuators are proposed. The switches and attenuators consist of three shunt PIN diodes, six radial stubs, bias circuit and DC return circuit. Wide bandwidth is achieved with six different radial stubs as reflective load of the diodes. The stubs work as short circuit to the diodes at different frequency points for broad bandwidth. 8Optimum Operating and Regeneration Parameters of ZnI2 Catalyst for Converting Methanol to Triptane:An Ideal Component of Unleaded Aviation Gasoline显示文摘Conversion of methanol(MeOH) to 2,2,3-trimethylbutane(triptane) over zinc iodide(ZnI_2)catalyst was investigated in a closed batch reactor.Optimum operating parameters were searched and catalyst deactivation and regeneration behaviors were discussed.The fresh,spent and regenerated catalysts were characterized by XRD,TG and XRF measurements to elucidate the related mechanism.The experimental results showed that the triptane yield reached up to 12.2% under the process conditions,including a reaction temperature of 200℃,an initial pressure of 0.35 MPa,a reaction time of 2 h,and a Me OH to ZnI_2 molar ratio of 2.The catalyst was gradually deactivated after several run cycles.A small amount of iodine was lost and a certain amount of ZnO was formed on the deactivated ZnI_2 catalyst.Deactivation of the catalyst could be attributed to the reduction of ZnI_2 amount,resulted from iodine loss and formation of Zn O.It was firstly pointed out from our work that the deactivated catalyst could be well regenerated by the hydrogen iodide(HI) and the tert-butanol compensation method,wherein the latter was added as an initiator into the reaction system.The activity recovery of the deactivated(spent) catalyst might be related to the reformation of ZnI_2 and acceleration of the initiation step of this reaction.Chen Weiwei Song Yueqin Zong Rui Du Changfei Zhou Xiaolong Li Chenglie 2018China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2018,20,2:3
9Inter-and Intra-specific Genetic Diversity in Diospyros Using SCoT and IRAP Markers显示文摘The genus Diospyros contains more than 500 species, among them persimmon(Diospyros kaki Thunb.) is the most economically important species. However, the inter-and intra-specific genetic diversity remains unknown due to historic cultivation, domestication and introduction in different regions of China. In this study, we investigated the genetic diversity and relationship among 268 Diospyros accessions from different regions in China using start codon-targeted(SCo T) and inter-retrotransposon-amplified polymorphism(IRAP) markers. Among 268 samples,232 accessions were D. kaki varieties and 36 were closely related species, that is, D. lotus(21), D. glaucifolia(1), D. virginiana(5), D. kaki Thunb.var. silvestris(3), D. oleifera(5) and D. deyangnsis(1). In our study, a total of 90 and 97 polymorphic alleles were obtained from nine SCo T and nine IRAP markers, respectively, and these markers displayed rich polymorphisms for evaluation of the genetic diversity among 268 samples. A study on the relationship, genetic structure and analysis of molecular variance(AMOVA) showed that inter-and intra-specific gene exchanges were frequent among/within the samples from five regions. Moreover, the genetic distance between the Southwest China(SWC) and the other regions was relatively far;the samples from North China(NC), East China(EC), South and Central China(SCC), Northwest China(NWC) regions had a relatively close relationship. The unweighted pair group method with arithmetic means(UPGMA) and population structure analysis indicated that persimmons within geographic regions were clustered together, which revealed that the samples from various regions exhibited gene exchange, and the geographical proximity of persimmons resulted in a more frequent exchange. In addition, the persimmon had a close relationship with D. kaki var. silvestris, D. deyangnsis and D. oleifera species, and exhibited a far distance with respect to D. virginiana. 10Model for Asymmetry of Shock/Boundary Layer Interactions in Nozzle Flows显示文摘The reason for the asymmetry phenomenon of shock/boundary layer interactions(SBLI)in a completely symmetric nozzle with symmetric flow conditions is still an open question.A model for the asymmetry of nozzle flows was proposed based on the properties of fluid entrainment in the mixing layer and momentum conservation.The asymmetry model is deduced based on the nozzle flow with restricted shock separation,and is still applicable for free shock separation.Flow deflection angle at nozzle exit is deduced from this model.Steady numerical simulations are conducted to model the asymmetry of the SBLIs in a planar convergent-divergent nozzle tested by previous researchers.The obtained values of deflection angle based on the numerical results of forced symmetric nozzle flows can judge the asymmetry of flows in a nozzle at some operations.It shows that the entrainment of shear layer on the separation induced by SBLTs is one of the reasons for the asymmetry in the confined SBLIs.Wang Chengpeng Zhuo Changfei 2018Transactions of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics2018,35,1:2
11Composition engineering of Sb_2S_3 film enabling high performance solar cells显示文摘Sb_2S_3 is a kind of stable light absorption materials with suitable band gap, promising for practical applications. Here we demonstrate that the engineering on the composition ratio enables significant improvement in the device performance. We found that the co-evaporation of sulfur or antimony with Sb_2S_3 is able to generate sulfur-or antimony-rich Sb_2S_3. This composition does not generate essential influence on the crystal structure, optical band and film formability, while the carrier concentration and transport dynamics are considerably changed. The device investigations show that sulfur-rich Sb_2S_3 film is favorable for efficient energy conversion, while antimony-rich Sb_2S_3 leads to greatly decreased device performance. 15Self-ignition characteristics of the high-speed ramjet kinetic energy projectile in the launch process显示文摘To research the self-ignition characteristics of high-speed ramjet kinetic energy projectile in the launch process, the self-ignition process based on the solid fuel of polyethylene was numerically simulated by using the dynamic grid technology. The effect of different muzzle velocity on the self-ignition performance, and the effect of opening the blockage at different times on the flow field stability of the combustion chamber and the flow field characteristics after the solid fuel ramjet stabilized were analyzed. The results show that the occurrence of self-ignition is not only related to the pressure, temperature in the combustion chamber, and the muzzle velocity, but also to the content of C_2H_4 and its degree of mixing with air in the combustion chamber. After the kinetic energy projectile gets out of the muzzle and before the blockage opens, there is oscillation occurring in the combustion chamber. The higher the muzzle velocity of the kinetic energy projectile, the more prone to the occurrence of the self-ignition and the negative effects can be avoided due to the pressure oscillation in the combustion chamber. The effect of opening the blockage at different times on the flow field stability after the self-ignition occurs in a period of time is weak. 18Designing Uncorrelated Multiple Antennas with Round Patterns Using Handset Metal Frames显示文摘Multiple antennas with low correlations are highly in demand in the mobile handsets for higher data rate.At the same time,the total pattern provided by the antennas should be as round as possible for reliable links.In this paper,by analysing the characteristic modes of the mobile chassis loaded by ultra-thin metal frames,a four-antenna system with a round total pattern is designed at 2.4 GHz.The gain variations are only 3.4 dB and 3.6 dB on two dominant planes.The isolations between antennas are above 15 dB,and the correlations are below 0.01,with intact ground plane and small ground clearance of 2 mm maintained.Afterwards,an eight-port antenna system is designed by taking advantage of the ground clearance and exciting modes with different phases.Low correlations of below 0.07 are obtained.The antenna system is fabricated,with the measured results agreeing well with the simulated ones.LI Hui XU Jialu DIAO Yunze ZHOU Changfei 2022Chinese Journal of Electronics2022,31,6:0
19MHC Class I Assembly Function and Intracellular Transport Routes for Hepatitis B Virus Antigen Cross-presentation by Heat Shock Protein gp96显示文摘Background:During hepatitis B virus(HBV)infection,virus-infected hepatocytes directly cross-present viral antigens and regulate T cell response within the liver microenvironment.However,little is known regarding the regulatory pathways involved in viral antigen presentation in HBV-infected hepatocytes.This study investigated the underlying mechanism of antigen assembly and the HBV antigen-presenting function of major histocompatibility complex(MHC)class I molecules using heat shock protein gp96.Methods:First,western blotting,flow cytometry,co-immuno precipitation,GST pull-down,and confocal microscopic assays were performed to determine whether endogenous gp96 affects MHC-I levels via an antigen presentation pathway.Second,the B3Z assay and an AAV/HBV-infected hepatocyte-specific gp96-deficient mouse model were used to determine whether gp96 knockout functionally impaired peptide cross-presentation and produced a weakened antiviral cytotoxic T cell(CTL)response both in vivo and in vitro.Finally,confocal microscopic analysis and the B3Z assay were employed to show that exogenous gp96-associated peptide was present in MHC-I molecules via the endoplasmic reticulum(ER)-Golgi secretory pathway.Results:Compared with the control,gp96 knockdown significantly reduced the cell surface levels of MHC-I by approximately 75%(P<0.01).Endogenous gp96 interacts with MHC-I and is involved in antigen presentation.Moreover,a weakened antiviral CTL response(34%compared to control mice)has been observed in hepatocyte-specific gp96-deficient mice following HBV infection.gp96 directed exogenous antigen to the ER,and the exogenous gp96-chaperoned peptide was endosome-and proteasome-dependent but not transporter associated with antigen processing dependent.Conclusions:Cellular gp96 promotes the assembly and antigen presentation of MHC class I molecules.In addition,extracellular gp96 served as a natural adjuvant to induce a CTL response in a concerted and regulated manner within different cellular compartments.Our results elucidate the mechanism of assembly of MHC class I molecules by gp96,which may be beneficial for the design of immunotherapy and vaccines.Lijuan Qin Yongai Liu Yuxiu Xu Yang Li Jun Hu Ying Ju Yu Zhang Shuo Wang Zihai Li Changfei Li Xin Li Songdong Meng 2022Infectious Diseases & Immunity2022,2,3:0
20A potential threat from biodegradable microplastics: mechanism of cadmium adsorption and desorption in the simulated gastrointestinal environment显示文摘It has been demonstrated that microplastics (MPs) can accumulate heavy metals from the environment and transfer them into organisms via the food chain. However, adsorption and desorption capacities for biodegradable MPs relative to those for conventional MPs remain poorly understood. In this study, cadmium (Cd(II)) adsorption and desorption characteristics of polylactic acid (PLA), a typical biodegradable MP, were investigated. Two conventional MPs, i.e., polypropylene (PP) and polyamide (PA) were used for comparison. The maximum Cd(II) adsorption capacities of the MPs studied in the adsorption experiments decreased in the order PA (0.96 ± 0.07 mg/g) > PLA (0.64 ± 0.04 mg/g) > PP (0.22 ± 0.03 mg/g). The Pseudo-second-order kinetic model and Freundlich isothermal model described the Cd(II) adsorption behaviors of PLA MPs well. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and two-dimensional Fourier transform infrared correlation spectroscopy analysis indicated that oxygen functional groups were the major and preferential binding sites of PLA MPs, which contributed to their high Cd(II) adsorption capacities. Simulated gastric and intestinal fluids both significantly enhanced the desorption capacities of the examined MPs. Notably, degradation of the PLA MPs during in vitro human digestion made the Cd(II) on the PLA MPs more bioaccessible (19% in the gastric phase and 62% in the intestinal phase) than Cd(II) on the PP and PA MPs.
