| 1 | The Impact of Global Warming on the Pacific Decadal Oscillation and the Possible Mechanism显示文摘The response of the Pacific Decadal Oscillation(PDO) to global warming according to the Fast Ocean Atmosphere Model(FOAM) and global warming comparison experiments of 11 IPCC AR4 models is investigated. The results show that North Pacific ocean decadal variability, its dominant mode(i.e., PDO), and atmospheric decadal variability, have become weaker under global warming, but with PDO shifting to a higher frequency. The SST decadal variability reduction maximum is shown to be in the subpolar North Pacific Ocean and western North Pacific(PDO center). The atmospheric decadal variability reduction maximum is over the PDO center. It was also found that oceanic baroclinic Rossby waves play a key role in PDO dynamics, especially those in the subpolar ocean. As the frequency of ocean buoyancy increases under a warmer climate, oceanic baroclinic Rossby waves become faster, and the increase in their speed ratio in the high latitudes is much larger than in the low latitudes. | 2 | Fragment Propagation and Colonization Ability Enhanced and Varied at Node Level after Escaping from Apical Dominance in Submerged Macrophytes显示文摘Aquatic plants develop strong fragment propagation and colonization ability to endure the natural disturbances. However,detailed research of ability to endure the natural disturbances has been lacking to date. Therefore,reproduction(shoot) and colonization(root) of shoot fragments of Potamogeton crispus L. with or without apices were investigated for the effect of apical dominance,and the growth of decapitated shoot fragments at three lengths(2,4,6 cm) was compared. Meanwhile,fragment propagation at levels of bud position was studied for bud position effect after escaping from apical dominance. The results showed significant increases occurred in the outgrowth of lateral branches on fragments decapitated compared with the fragments with apices,implying that apical dominance exists. Different lengths of fragments showed little difference in biomass allocations,but significant differences were noted in their propagation. Meanwhile,the effect of bud position was verified,due to the significant difference of average reproduction per node among the three length groups. | 11 | Novel colorimetric,photothermal and up-conversion fluorescence triple-signal sensor for rosmarinic acid detection显示文摘Rosmarinic acid(RA)is promising as a natural and nontoxic food additive.However,many analysis methods for RA generally depend on large instruments and single signals for quantitative detection.A new upconversion fluorescence,colorimetric and photothermal multi-modal sensing strategy is developed for the quantification of RA.β-cyclodextrin(CD)modified citric acid(Cit)wrapped NaYF_(4):Yb/Er-Cit-CD(Y:Yb/Er-Cit-CD)up-conversion nanocomposite has been synthesized,which emits green fluorescence at 550nm under 980nm near-infrared(NIR)excitation.In the presence of oxidized 3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine(oxTMB),the green fluorescence is significantly quenched attributed to the fluorescence inner filter effect(IFE)between oxTMB and Y:Yb/Er-Cit-CD.When RA is intervened,blue oxTMB is reduced to colorless 3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine(TMB)inducing the recovery of up-conversion fluorescence.At the same time,colorimetric and photothermal signals readout can be easily achieved thanks to the color indication and photothermal effect of the oxTMB.The constructed Y:Yb/Er-Cit-CD/oxTMB sensor displays high sensitivity,visibility and simplicity for RA,and the limits of detection(LOD)for fluorescence,colorimetric and photothermal were 0.004μmol/L,0.036μmol/L and 0.043μmol/L,respectively.This sensing system is successfully performed for the detection of RA in food samples. | Yinyin Chen Xiujuan Yang Changfang Lu Zouping Yang Wei Wu Xianxiang Wang | 2023 | Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,8: | 0 |
